Grimmreaper Announces Concept Album “The Tragedy of Being” And First Single “Resent”

Music Video Premiere via TheCirclePit

“The Tragedy of Being” Due Out February 2021

Grimmreaper comes from the mind of Logan Grimm, formed as a result of learning that he could write music. This whole project came from watching a psychologist on YouTube, Jordan Peterson, talk about the idea of slaying dragons in your life, cleaning your room, taking responsibility, and reaching your potential.

Peterson explained stories in the Bible and traditions of ancient cultures that shook Grimm from his cynicism on those matters, and he found the ability to express his ideas. He went from not playing the guitar to having a metal album written in about 18 months completely by himself. He explains the album in his own words:

“In the album, I make the final argument that life is suffering, but you should make the unlikely and illogical decision to make a pact or covenant with the highest conception of good and truth. You should treat this covenant like a relationship with a guiding force that, ultimately, is your best bet against misery and unnecessary suffering. You could call that idea of the highest good as the universe, or truth, or the stars. I choose to call it God.”

The single “Resent” was the first song Grimm ever recorded in his life, it took about two years to finish. It is a nasty song, going into the resentment that can accrue in yourself from losing in life. Failing, being low on the social hierarchy, not being wanted… these things can easily and quickly bring you to the conclusion that life is not worth pursuing, and more than that, that existence itself is corrupt beyond repair. A losing game. A zero-sum catastrophe.

Fans of Trivium, In Flames, and Meshuggah are invited to succumb to a grey world, where nihilism prevails when you hear “Resent” via its premiere on TheCircle Pit YouTube Channel HERE.

Pre-Save on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon HERE.

The full album “The Tragedy of Being” comes out in February 2021.

About:

Logan Grimm is an ambitious young artist seeking to take on the world, and the creator of Grimmreaper. He has developed an intense backstory for a multimedia project that explores the very human realities of tragedy and suffering, and the choices they present, from nihilism and resentment to transcendence and courage. In the process of this, he has crafted music that fuses the influences of highly technical bands like Dragonforce and Meshuggah with the work of more mainstream names such as Five Finger Death Punch and Bullet For My Valentine.

The project, which will start to see release in the early half of 2021, will center around an album entitled The Tragedy Of Being. The record explores noble and contemptible ways to respond to the conditions inherent to human consciousness. Since it is wholly a solo project, Grimm will perform on the record as each ‘band member.’ He will also represent each member in the videos released for the project, each hidden behind a black hood with a different appearance. The Tragedy Of Being will be accompanied by a documentary of the creation process featuring the twin personalities of the business-minded Logan and the poetic artist, Grimm. It will embody his sense of humor, split personas, and inspirations.

Representing himself as the embodiment of his lyrical themes, Logan Grimm has built a strong visual presence for the project. Instantly recognizable and endlessly ambitious, there are a lot of interesting twists and turns presented in the work of Grimmreaper. With a bright future painted before him featuring everything from forming a DIY label to endless touring, Logan Grimm has the ambition and the vision to match. Poised to be the next great force in metal, Grimmreaper look boldly into the future.

NEWS RELEASE

Montreal, QC – October 20, 2020

Rockshots Records Signs BLUE HOUR GHOSTS

Rockshots Records is proud to announce their latest signing of BLUE HOUR GHOSTS, one of the most promising upcoming bands from Italy.

Hailing from the foggy plains of Modena, Italy, Blue Hour Ghosts were formed in 2013 with the aim of giving birth to a personal and recognizable style of metal, drawing its influences from progressive music, classic metal, gothic and alternative rock. Their 2016 self-titled debut album was produced by the talented Giuseppe “Dualized” Bassi (Fear Factory), and received unanimous acclaim from rock/metal magazines all over Europe as “one of the best debut albums since a while in the melodic metal world” (LordsOfMetal, 2016).

Their distinctive sound delivers a wide range of soundscapes ranging from full metal aggression to soft, acoustic atmospheres, passing through infectious hooks that will enthrall any rocker and sophisticated layered arrangements to satisfy the most demanding palates.

Together with new band members, Blue Hour Ghosts started writing their second album, joining forces again with producer Giuseppe Bassi. The writing process went through all along 2019, and into summer 202. After a forced hiatus induced by the Covid-19 lockdown, the band completed the recordings of their new album.

With their sophomore effort “Due”, Blue Hour Ghosts are ready to unleash another fresh, powerful and intense melodic assault, set to take any listener by the storm and to conquer an even larger share of music lovers.

“Due” is set to be released in early 2021 by Rockshots Records.
First single to be revealed in the coming months. Stay Tuned!

Get Ready To Rock And Roll With Doom ‘An Blue’s Catchy Tune “Ran Down”

Montreal’s Doom ‘An Blue has a rocking new video single coming out, “Ran Down”. It’s the perfect track to add to your driving playlist.

“Ran Down” is a hard-hitting song that is a band favourite, and it really shows different shades of the band. Anybody who is aware of these rockers is going to freak out when they hear it and those who are discovering them for the first time are in for a hell of a ride with the single. The video brings the imagination of the song to visual life; it isn’t overdone, cheap, tasteless, or fake. Authenticity speaks volumes and “Ran Down” blasts it on the bust. As the band explains:

“She’s a ripper. A badass roll down the window, step on the gas, turn it up son of a gun! Super fun to play, super fun to record, and super fun to film. It hits hard, it grooves, it sends you in orbit way out in space and slams you back into the Earth’s dirt again, it’s a fucking crash landing in an ‘87 Cutlass Supreme!”

Doom ‘An Blue adds guests to almost every song and this one features Steph Lune (Death Proof) on vocals and Iza Coulombe (The Horny Bitches) on bass for the recording and for live performance plus the music video appearance, they were joined by bassist Masha Te (Death Proof). A strong connection in musical tastes and alcohol tastes spawned the rockers from Montreal, solidified with a connection in drive, creativity and passion for music and everything that goes with it. With two singles out already, 2019’s “Two-Bit Son Of A Bitch” and 2020’s “Wicked Serotonin” they have devised their own sound that will get you moving.

Doom ‘An Blue provides catchy sounds with no goddamn bounds suitable for lovers of southern rock, hard rock, and classic rock n’ roll.

The music video for “Ran Down” can be viewed on YouTube HERE.

About:

Having shared stages with different projects in Montreal, Canada’s thriving music scene since 2010, and becoming fast friends upon performing together in cover band Leather Up Yöur Ass since 2013, talks between Jimmy and Lee about creating something… unique finally began taking shape in May of 2016 while driving to a performance. Soon after a road trip to see Clutch in Schaghticoke, NY, without a note prepared to rehearse, the two walked into Cite 2000. A few hours later, they were left with countless ideas and even more questions.

What just happened?

What are we to do now?

What year is this?

After many a sundown accompanied by way more cold-to-room temperature adult beverages, 2 was agreed on as the lucky number. Jimmy and Lee conspired that the sounds, shapes, and possibilities of the project was to be left as limitless as the music which they would spawn, therefore inviting collaborators in the form of as many or as few guests from all ends of the musical universe as felt… juuuust right for each composition.

NEWS RELEASE

Montreal, QC – October 19, 2020

For fans of Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Metallica, Stratovarius, Helloween, Avenged Sevenfold

Venezuela’s Lyonen Brings A New Dynamic To Classic Heavy Metal With Video “Lyonen”

Tato Rivas – Guitarist and Producer – Photo Credit: Barbara Gomez

Lyonen, the solo project from Venezuela’s Luis Rivas, released a debut album “This Is Lyonen” during August of this year. It is a solid eleven-track effort packed with flouring power metal vocals, sweeping solos, and of course, a layer of thundering drums.

Rivas is a talented musician who seeks to push the envelope with his sound and bridge various elements from different genres to make a well-rounded, dynamic style. His music always contains a positive message, and the classic heavy metal track “Lyonen” is no exception. The song recalls a mix of Rivas’ teenage days in the ’80-’90s. It is an anthem for the band’s followers and encourages listeners to be free, do the right things, and stand for truth.

Today, Rivas shares the video for “Lyonen”, which can be viewed on YouTube HERE.

Rivas explains further:

“I want to motivate the listeners through the lyrics while giving them a shot of classic heavy metal with melodic guitar lines and heavy vocals. Lyonen is important to me because this is the first time I can put what I am thinking into a song and I definitely want to do more.”

Aside from session vocals by Craig Cairns on the tracks along with Jose Vegas on bass for “No Borders” and Javi One doing drums on “2 Hours to Go”, Rivas was the sole musician, engineer, and producer for the entire release, which was a challenge, but overall a very satisfying experience for him. Originally fifteen tracks were recorded, but only 11 were kept on the release, fans can expect more music from Lyonen in the near future.

The classic melodic heavy metal is suggested for fans of Helloween, Stratovarius, and Joe Satriani.

“This is Lyonen” was released on August 13th, 2020, and available on Apple Music, Spotify, and Lyonen.com/music.

About:

Music is energy – Luis Rivas said so. Music composer and Creator of the band “Lyonen,” Luis Rivas – nicknamed Tato Rivas – spent a significant part of his life devoted to music production in the genres of Metal and Rock. When it comes to the genre of metal, music requires a whole new level of involvement. “I started playing in 1995, and I have not stopped since,” Tato said.

Tato Rivas was born in Caracas, capital of Venezuela, spent his childhood listening to popular metal bands, and moved to Maryland, United States in 2016 for professional reasons and now he is getting ready to fulfill his dreams in the music industry and build his name. It has been a lifelong goal of him to find opportunities in music career – therefore, his unstoppable passion is getting closer to that moment.

Luis graduated in Audio Engineering in 2003 with four years of Study of Music, including Classical Guitar. With currently working as a Multimedia Producer, Luis has additional insight into the world of music videos and photography – which landed him the Promax BDA Award doing Promotion Audio Mixing for a TV Station and other awards as Director of a Documentary short film.

In 2017, Luis started his one-person project like a metal band named Lyonen, which produces music in the forms of Heavy Metal, Power Metal, and Rock. His profound influence in metal icons like Iron Maiden, Metallica, Helloween, Joe Satriani, Stratovarius, and much more motivated him to hold his position gracefully as a Guitarist, Music Producer, Composer, and Audio Engineer for his band Lyonen.

So far, Tato has been passionate about Heavy Metal, but he aims to produce music in other genres, such as Pop, Classical, and more. Tato Rivas – under the name of Lyonen – is all set for releasing his much-anticipated Debut Album named “This is Lyonen,” which is scheduled to release on 13th August 2020 on all mainstream music platforms like Spotify, iTunes, Youtube Music, Deezer, and many more.

About:
Anthea is a melodic, symphonic metal band from Los Angeles, CA. The band aims to create coherent yet diverse cinematic, theatrical metal music.  With a combination of clean operatic vocals and black metal like screams, Anthea’s music can appeal to a wide variety of metal fans.

In 2015, after spending much of his time writing new music, Diego Valadez (Cellador) met with drummer Peter Vasquez (Angel Sinestro). The two decided to form a band, giving an outlet to the material that was already in the works. They recorded their first demo under the band name ‘Anthea.’ This was accomplished with the help of some very talented studio musicians filling in for bass, guitar, screams, and additional vocals. While recording, Anthea had been simultaneously searching for permanent members and was soon joined by guitarists Juan Pina and Marcos Mejia, as well as bassist Eric Guerrero.

– 30-

“Guitarist Juan Pina’s screams and Valadez’ clean vocals kept the dynamics interesting and brought out the extra push for something unique in comparison to what you would normally find in the majority of symphonic metal acts.” – Metal Assault

“The band aren’t afraid to heavy things up if they deem it necessary for the advancement of the song, meaning that The Anthea (Demo) is a varied and satisfying listening experience.” – Sentinel Daily

“The band went on to be named as first-place winners on the night. When their name is announced, the crowd screams in appreciation.” – Spectrum News 1

Take A Glimpse Into Stark Reality With Abandoned Souls’ Video For “Blinding Darkness”

L-R: Derek De Kort (Guitar) | James Todd (Vocals) | Tom Dobrentey (Drums) | Reagan Thorne (Bass)

Canada’s Abandoned Souls released their powerful and emotional single “Blinding Darkness” on October 9, 2020 and now to complement it they are releasing a music video for it.

While most of the band’s music comes from a personal place, “Blinding Darkness” is especially meaningful to the band. It was written shortly after vocalist James Todd went through the heartbreaking experience of losing his mother. This is the first new music they have released since the last EP in 2017. The band explains the writing process for the single in their own words:

“We started tracking for Blinding Darkness towards the end of 2019. Then in early 2020 as we are all aware, the world changed. That put a huge wrench in our plans so, like everyone we had to adapt. We already had drums and bass tracked for Blinding Darkness. Derek recorded all his guitars at his home and sent me the tracks to re-amp thru his amp here at the studio. I also recorded all the vocals during the pandemic shutdown. Luckily, I own the studio and had lots of time to mix and refine the song during this time. It is the first release from the new Foundation Studio and we are super excited for everyone to hear it!”

Heavy and aggressive but not sacrificing melody, Abandoned Souls have been honing their craft since they started jamming as friends over a decade ago. Staying true to their sound, the video is uplifting and heavy and puts a positive spin on the dark subject matter.

Citing that it has been a long road to get to the point where they are at, Abandoned Souls is hoping the release of this single will tide fans over until the world gets back to a sense of normalcy and shows can begin again.

Hard rock n’ roll fans will take a liking to Abandoned Souls, especially fans of Godsmack, Three Days Grace, and Alice in Chains.

The video for “Blinding Darkness” can be viewed at the following link on YouTube.

The single is available for stream on Spotify and download on Apple Music.

About:

There is power in a band’s name, like a magic spell, announcing to the world what they are and what they stand for. ABANDONED SOULS summons up images of Milton’s ‘Paradise Lost’, heroic outcasts rising up against impossible odds, to establish their own unique identity.

As vocalist James Todd explains:

“The name Abandoned Souls is in reference to all those people out there that have at one time or another felt like the outcast. That common bond and love for this music are what brings all of us Abandoned Souls together.”

Having played together for years, the bonds that hold ABANDONED SOULS together are… to paraphrase the mighty Judas Priest…Canadian Steel! Inspired by Alter Bridge, Alice In Chains, Metallica, Judas Priest, Godsmack, and Kings X, Todd describes Abandoned Souls’ sound as ‘powerful, heavy, rhythmic, melodic, personal.’

Autocatalytica is a bubbling cauldron of scatter-brained prog-metal insanity helmed by guitarist/vocalist Eric Thorfinnson. The newest release for the band “Powerclashing Maximalism” is due out this Friday, October 16th. For the full-length’s release day, Autocatalytica is unleashing the lyric video for the track “Borndun”.

The track is described by the band as “an obvious nod to Meshuggah, heavy, expansive and with just the right amount of weirdo groove, written generally about the current political situation.”.

Listen to “Borndun” via its premiere on SonicPerspectives HERE.

Formed as a solo project in 2009, as an expressive outlet for Thorfinnson’s abstract angst and penchant for everything over the top. Thorfinnson has always drawn inspiration from a vast collage of different artists resulting in a sound that is sure to surprise and intrigue listeners of all persuasions.

The LP “Powerclashing Maximalism” is the band third and it explores all corners of Autocatalytica’s sound in a tight 36-minute runtime over eight tracks, from the Meshuggah-esque stomp of “Borndun” to the Jazzy Math Rock of “Cheggo”. While at this time Autocatalytica exists solely as a recording project, no one knows what the future holds!

Thorfinnson’s comments on the album:

“‘Powerclashing Maximalism’ is an expression of the many different facets of progressive and heavy music I am engaging at this point in my life, with little to no regard for thematic consistency between tracks. Each song is a fully realized Island of uniqueness that expresses something totally different from the previous one. On the last record, I felt like I was really losing perspective with what was good and quality (especially in the vocal department) seeing as I did so much of it completely isolated. With this record I really wanted to move away from that mindset and integrate as many collaborators as possible to create a sort of “Broken Social Scene” of metal type vibe. This was a fantastically inspiring experience and I am really grateful for having been able to work with so many different amazing musicians throughout the process.”

For fans of Devin Townsend, Meshuggah, and Protest The Hero, “Powerclashing Maximalism” is available as of October 16th on Autocatalytica.bandcamp.com, Spotify, Apple Music.

“With a bewildering, cross-pollinated sound that makes The Dillinger Escape Plan sound like Nickelback, the math-metal crew Autocatalytica are pushing the boundaries so far that they may just fall off the world’s edge…  While the math-metal scene seems to have stayed in the same creative spot for the last 15 years, Autocatalytica’s music exists in its own psychotic realm, wherein jazz-tinged extremity and melodic mazes conjure a disorientating blur of psychedelic noise. The band have also earned themselves a formidable reputation as a truly mind-bending live act.” – Metal Hammer

“Crazy mathcore meets jazz-infused progressive music and avant-garde… Fabulously unique and always thrilling”- Metal Trenches

“Autocatalytica aren’t alone in bringing in so many outsides elements into a mathcore-focused sound, they are definitely one of the most ambitious and grandest groups I’ve heard do so to date.” – No Clean Singing

Rockshots Records: Finland Prog Power Ultimatium Reveal First Single “The Seer” From New Album “Virtuality” Out Nov 27th

Featuring singer Emily Leone from Lost In Grey, “The Seer” is the first single off “Virtuality”, the epic theme album from Finland power proggers Ultimatium set to be released on Rockshots Records on Nov 27th.

“The Seer” can be heard at the following links:
Music Video – https://youtu.be/rO02419CN-Y
Spotify – https://spoti.fi/3jcraB6

Packed with five amazing lead vocalists, Peter James Goodman (Conquest, ex-Virtuocity), Jukka Nummi (ex-Myon), Emily Leone, Tomi Viiltola (ex-Dreamtale, Perpetual Rage, Viilto) and Matti Auerkallio (Katra, Manzana, SoulFallen), “Virtuality” is a unique storyline about the virtual world, and the dangers of sharing everything in social media, along with up-tempo power metal songs combined with darker elements.

Ultimatium‘s mastermind Matti Pulkkinen comments new song:

“The Seer” introduces the character sang by Emily Leone properly and tells listeners about her special abilities and gives hints of her sudden death in the story. The track has a lot of keyboard leads and a new way of guitar riffs never heard in Ultimatium before: from very high octave instead of always playing the riffs from the low end. Also, some Taurus pedal is heard in the background of the verse”

“Virtuality” is set to be released on November 27.

Canada’s Red Cain is finishing their “Kindred” saga with the release of “Kindred: Act II” on December 4th, 2020 to follow their 2019 album “Kindred: Act I” unleashed via Sliptrick Records. Over the past few months of this year, they have shared three singles off the forthcoming full length “Sunshine (Blood Sun Empire)”, “Demons” and “Kindred”. Today, they present their final single “Varyag and The Shrike” off the upcoming record. Recommended for fans of Kamelot, Mastodon, and Amaranthe the track can be heard via its premiere on Metal-Rules HERE.

Vocalist Evgeniy Zayarny explains the story behind the song in further detail:

“Much of storytelling has historically been in the form of fables, and with “Varyag and the Shrike”, we wanted to create one of our own as a story element for the “Kindred” album saga. This fable and this warlike anthem are about accepting your own mortality and acknowledging your place in the memory of future generations.

A shrike is a bird of prey that kills via impaling its quarry on thorns, barbed wire, or any other sharp points – leaving a grotesque reminder of its hunting prowess. In this track, they play a Valkyrie-like role, taking the souls and bodies of fallen warriors home.

This track is, in essence, a dirge – a lament for the dead, with our hero metaphorically in dialogue with the shrike. To achieve a doomy, thick, and oppressive atmosphere, we dropped down the guitars, sped up the drums, and put 8 layers of harmonies into the massive, haunting chorus that drives the entire track forward. The track art is a reimagining of the warrior’s head from Alexander Pushkin’s epic poem “Ruslan & Ludmila”, infested here by a malevolent Lovecraftian force, and decorated with the shrike and their victims. We can’t deny taking some inspiration from Dan Simmons’ Hyperion Cantos as well, where the entity known as the Shrike plays a similar, but also a very different part.

Despite the dark content, our hero and the track itself eventually seek to overcome their own intrinsic melancholy and raise a rallying cry to those who follow, to take up his banner and continue onward. Conceptually, the track represents humanity’s continuity through millennia via retellings of glorious deeds and sacrifices in the name of its survival. For even if one falls, many will step forward to take his place.

So lock ranks, stand shoulder to shoulder with your brothers and sisters – and raise your face to the Sun. This is Varyag and the Shrike.”

Described as a vehicle of “Melancholy and Rage” and born out of the emerging music scene of Alberta, Canada, 2017 YYC Awards Metal Recording of the Year winner Red Cain is a power/progressive metal project with Russian roots. With intricate songwriting, a heavy yet melodic feel reminiscent of progressive acts, and elements of Slavic myth and Russian paganism in the storytelling tradition of the cult of Veles, Red Cain champion a fluid, dynamic, and unique musical style centered around telling dark, conceptual Faustian sagas and constructing those into an unforgettable live experience.

Stated by frontman Evgeniy Zayarny as wanting to bring back the “Devil’s music” mysticism all too often missing in modern metal acts, Red Cain delivers flair, groove, and an intricate, lethal edge in their music. Listeners might well pick out elements reminiscent of such luminary acts as Kamelot, Symphony X, Tesseract, Amaranthe, Alter Bridge – whipped into a venomous new shape. The current incarnation of the band is all of these influences mixed with a lot of vodka and Eastern European melancholy, shaken and stirred.

Red Cain released its debut self-titled EP in November 2016 to rave reviews from a variety of publications such as Dead Rhetoric, MetalUnderground, and Firewind magazine, among many others. Red Cain’s EP had the honour of winning Metal Recording of the Year at the 2017 YYC Music Awards. The band has a strong emerging fanbase around the world, being named one of the top 200 bands of 2016 by Headbangers Latinoamerica and the EP’s cover art selected as one of 2016’s 15 best by Metal Underground.

Red Cain’s first full-length album “Kindred: Act I” was released in March 2019 to a variety of excellent reviews internationally, reaching #1 on Canadian College Radio Earshot Loud charts and establishing the band as a force in the Canadian metal scene, and landing the band a distribution deal with European label Sliptrick Records. A variety of festival appearances at Loud As Hell Metal Festival, Hyperspace Metal Festival, and Canada Wacken Competition have served to cement that status. Red Cain’s music videos for “Juliet” and “Zero” have to date garnered 11 international film festival awards, including the Music Video Award at the Accolade Global Film Competition (LA).

Montreal’s Synastry made a name for themselves back in the late 2000s with the release of LP “Blind Eyes Bleed” (Year of the Sun Records) (2008) and debut EP “Pallets of My New World” (2006). After hiding in the shadows for nearly a decade, the band returns to the mosh pit with a brand new offering, EP “Civilization’s Coma” announced to be unleashed on November 27th, 2020, which is planned to be the foundation to re-introducing themselves to the metal community along with a full length to follow in 2021.

The comments on their resurrection:

“We think that people will enjoy the new EP. It is very much of the time, and we are confident that fans in 2020 will groove on Synastry. We are trying to reintroduce our sound and our band, and think that the “Civilizations Coma” will give fans a taste of what’s to come while being able to stand on its own merit. We think that the tracks on the EP work well with each other, and in relation to the next few releases we have planned, should accomplish the goal of re-establishing us with fans and our extreme sounds. With this EP, it may be short, and sweet, as the cliche goes, but fans who know us from our previous releases will notice we went from heavy to heavier. We think we have grown and that is reflected in these three new songs, with of course plenty more to come.”

A re-acquaintance to Synastry’s trademark aggressive groove, “Civilization’s Coma” will have listeners moving and headbanging with its in your face attitude, music, and vocals. It’s an attacking, melodic, proggy, djenty, death metal record, laying down a new path for the quartet.

Heavy and punishing, Synastry is recommended for fans of Veil of Maya, Born of Osiris, and Within the Ruins.

About:

It takes courage for a band to integrate such distinct thrash, death, and industrial influences into a catchy yet multilayered approach as do Montreal’s Synastry.

Each metal listener desires something different and thus a band exists for every taste. Inspired to a certain point by melodic, futuristic death thrash, Synastry binds to these influences a threatening mid-paced groove, atmospheric textures, and the unmistakable gruff and mature vocals of James Aniston. Flanked by guitarist Paul Iverson and bassist Gary Vee, and backed up by the thunderous Kay Kessler, Synastry is a crushing wall of well thought out and meticulously written metal. Lyrics come from Aniston’s impression of the world and his experiences in it which are layered with the collaborative music that all band members contribute to.

Started originally in the early 00s, the Montreal band took the underground scene by storm, they climbed the Myspace ranks, toured the regions, and released “Pallets Of My New World” (2006) (EP) and Blind Eyes Bleed (2008) (LP). In 2012, the band went dormant, where they remained until 2020.

The socially conscious band awoke amidst the widespread uncertainty that swept the globe, with a mission to explore humanity, the singularity, and morality. Forged in the hotbed of metal that is Montreal, they are here to raise the temperature once again with the release of their new EP “Civilization’s Coma” on November 27th.

“Synastry deliver their brand of classic death metal with an industrial twist. The result is a Thrashy head-long experiment into the brutal and somewhat futuristic. Musically tight and heavy with mean riffs, Synastry try to head into a new direction for Metal.” – Sea of Tranquility

“Montreal-based metal maulers Synastry play a brutal yet groovy style of death metal with fringes of industrial that recall bands such as Fear Factory and Killing Joke with the savagery of acts like Kataklysm.” – Gears of Rock
