EPK – Silas Fernandes – Carbon Purge Acceleration (2025)

Jon Asher – Publicist – jon[@]ashermediarelations[.]com

“Even without lyrics, each track carries a narrative that mixes the future, technology, and chaos. It is an invitation to reflect, while intense riffs and solos draw highly unconventional soundscapes. Musically, I do not follow ready-made formulas. The album blends fusion, modern prog metal, and eighties references in a sound that reinvents itself with every track. Instead of compartmentalized styles, the result is a true creative cauldron. The great thing about the work is precisely not being constrained by labels. Everything is mixed all the time.” – Silas Fernandes

About The Album Artwork:

It’s a digital/ divine being worshiped by people who didn’t realize this creature is destroying everyone.

About the album as a whole:

Musically, the album is a palette of aggressive to sweet and pensive music.

Track by Track:

1. Earth was Boring: Heavy and aggressive song that mixes modern metal with some metalcore vibes, ending with a melodic shred solo.

2. Escape the Reality Room: Alternate thrashy modern metal riffs with calm and melodic moments a la Joe Satriani.

3. John Hughes Didn’t Direct my Life: This one is super 80s vibe, with lots of melodic ideas, like a mixture of Steve Vai and Joe Satriani.

4. Flight of the Navigator: It’s an intense and fast prog metal with harmonically fusion ideas mixed with aggressive and melodic solos and ending with weird tempo signatures.

5. Heavy Droids: It is a 7/4 prog metal with melodic slow tempo moments.

6. The Death of Synthetic Curation: This is an ethereal song played just with one guitar, interacting beautifully with some special ambient effects.

BAND STORY ANGLES / FUN FACTS:

1. Before social media, I released an instructional video about licks and riffs on VHS. In the video, I told the audience that I have a broken pinky finger on my left hand. After that, “fake news” was spread that I didn’t have the pinky finger on my left hand.

2. At the beginning of the song “The demon called algorithm”, from the album “Improve”, there is a choir of Buddhist monks vocalizing on a very low tone, which matches the tonality of the song.

3. The voice of the robot on “Heavy Droids” and “Earth was Boring” was sampled from “Fulgor”, a character from the game “Killer Instinct”, and reversed to produce a distinct tone.

4. My first album, “Silas Fernandes” from 1995, was recorded at a studio that belongs to a corny Christian record label. The owner, who was my dad’s friend, allowed me to use the studio for free in the middle of the night. I just had to pay for the sound engineer.

5. In addition to being a guitarist, a music producer, content creator, I am the owner of Electric Eye Audio, a company that makes guitar pedals and digital files for metal guitar.

Silas Fernandes began in music as a teenager, playing in the heavy metal band of the legendary “metal” scene in the ABC region in São Paulo (Brazil) in a band named Esfinge, along with Andreas Kisser, who would later become the guitarist for Sepultura.

During his 35-year career, Silas had the opportunity to develop his skills through various opportunities, which included positions as a guitar instructor at IG&T (Guitar Institute of Technology Brazil), producer, business consultant, and finally, as a guitarist who has worked with many names on the Brazilian Music business, including your solo career with more than 5 releases already.

He began his solo career, releasing instructional videos and teaching, in addition to playing with several different bands and artists as a  hired gun

As a producer, Silas always kept up to date concerning the styles of bands and tricks involving music production by working as a “guitar tech” for renowned artists in Brazil as well he writing The Book “Set Up” and later becoming a course in EM&T (School of music and technology).

He kept his solo career in workshops and clinics throughout Brazil, parallel to his work as a music producer and guitar instructor.

In 2014,  he started his own YouTube channel, which shows another characteristic of Silas Fernandes: a humorous, relaxed, and most importantly, an expert in technological content related to electric guitar equipment and music production tips.

In 2015, Silas moved to Virginia in the US, where he delivers his own successful YouTube show called Rig on Fire every Thursday.

In 2020 started an English version of his Rig on Fire Show on a new channel on Youtube.

Now sponsored by  EMG pickups, Solar guitars, Black Smith strings, and Electric Eye Audio.

In July of 2024 Solar guitars team up with him to release his first Signature Model the A1.6 Silas Canibalismo!

He just released, his new solo album, it was released in September 2025  CARBON PURGE ACCELERATION!

0 Rockshots Records – Out Now! Australia’s GREYSTONE CANYON’s New Album “Something Borrowed…Something New”

NEWS RELEASE

Montreal, QC -December 5, 2025

Out Now! Australia’s GREYSTONE CANYON’s New Album “Something Borrowed…Something New”

Australian hard rock outfit Greystone Canyon returns today with their highly anticipated third album, “Something Borrowed… Something New.” Out today, as of December 5th, via Rockshots Records, the record is a hybrid collection blending brand-new original songs with powerful renditions of classic rock staples, all captured live in the studio with no click tracks, no tricks, just pure rock ’n’ roll.

Formed by vocalist/guitarist Darren Cherry, whose lifelong passion for music was inspired by AC/DC, KISS, and his father’s career as a professional musician, Greystone Canyon has built a reputation for tone, feel, fire, honesty, and organic sound. With drummer Sham (also of Nothing Sacred), guitarist Richard Vella, and bassist David Poulter, the band brings decades of experience, including Cherry’s tenure with Paul Di’Anno’s final Australian tour in 2024.

“This is our third album and is somewhat of a hybrid. It’s a mix of new original material and classic rock cover songs. It was recorded live, together in one room, no click tracks, just real rock ’n’ roll,” says Cherry.

Greystone Canyon’s new album “Something Borrowed… Something New” pays homage to rock legends like UFO, ZZ Top, Led Zeppelin, Thin Lizzy, and Neil Young, while introducing powerful originals such as Drives Us, Friend of the Fox, and Stealing Our Freedom. Inspired by Van Halen’s Diver Down, the record blends covers and originals into a dynamic listening experience. From the faithful tribute of UFO’s Doctor, Doctor and the smoky swing of ZZ Top’s Just Got Paid, to the road-trip energy of Drives Us and the heavier, metalized punch of Led Zeppelin’s Immigrant Song, the album showcases both reverence and reinvention. Originals like the acoustic, eerie Friend of the Fox and the protest anthem Stealing Our Freedom stand proudly alongside covers such as Thin Lizzy’s Suicide and Neil Young’s haunting Hey Hey, My My. With creative flourishes like “AAF,” a Hendrix-style guitar homage to the Australian National Anthem, the album captures Greystone Canyon’s ability to honour rock’s greatest while carving out its own identity.

Unlike their previous album, “Iron & Oak,” which took six years to complete, “Something Borrowed… Something New” was tracked, mixed, and mastered in just five months. Recorded at Black Lodge Studio under the guidance of Joel Taylor, the band embraced a raw, live recording method that captures the warmth, punch, and energy of musicians playing together in real time.

“This album has been the most fun we’ve had recording. Albums can be hard work and tedious, but this was a joy to make, and we think you can hear that in the recording,” adds Cherry.

Greystone Canyon are an Australian hard rock band blending classic rock, heavy metal, blues, and folk influences. Known for their organic sound and passionate performances, the band continues to evolve while staying true to their roots. Their music is inspired by life, history, and the future, with lyrics that reflect both personal experiences and broader social themes.

“Something Borrowed… Something New” is available now on December 5th, 2025, from Rockshots Records on all major streaming platforms and physical formats.

About: Greystone Canyon is an Australian hard rock band formed in Melbourne, known for their timeless blend of classic rock, heavy metal, and blues-infused energy. Their music draws on the spirit of 1970s and 1980s legends such as Led Zeppelin, Thin Lizzy, Ozzy Osbourne, and UFO while infusing modern depth, dynamic arrangements, and heartfelt storytelling.

The band released their debut album “While the Wheels Still Turn” in 2018, earning critical acclaim from both Australian and international press. The record was named “Debut Album of the Year” by Australia’s national TV program The Hard Rock Show, and received outstanding reviews across the board – including 10/10 from Rock ’n’ Load Magazine and 99/100 from The Metal Mag. Supported by multiple singles and videos amassing over 450,000 views, the album firmly established Greystone Canyon as one of Australia’s most promising rock acts.

Their sophomore record, “Iron & Oak”, followed in 2024, entering the Australian iTunes chart at #18 for Hard Rock and #82 across all genres, as well as reaching #1 on CFUR North American college radio. The album was praised by the international rock media, with several 10/10 scores, and produced over 250,000 video views within weeks of release. The band also performed alongside US heavy metal pioneers The Rods, further cementing their reputation for powerful and emotionally charged live shows.

After years of honing their craft and refining their sound, Greystone Canyon return in 2025 with their third full-length album, “Something Borrowed…Something New” – a record that captures the raw, organic essence of a real rock band performing live together. Recorded at Black Lodge Studio in Melbourne with producer and engineer Joel Taylor, the album was tracked entirely live in one room, without click tracks or digital edits. The result is a vibrant, honest, and deeply musical release that mixes brand-new Greystone Canyon originals with hand-picked classic covers from the artists who shaped their identity, including Thin Lizzy, ZZ Top, Led Zeppelin, UFO, and Neil Young.

Frontman Darren Cherry, who also performed with Paul Di’Anno’s (ex-Iron Maiden) Australian touring band in 2024, leads the lineup featuring Richard Vella (guitars, vocals, keyboards), David Poulter (bass), and Sham Hughes (drums, keyboards, mastering). Together, they embody the spirit of traditional rock music – played with authenticity, precision, and passion.

With “Something Borrowed…Something New“, Greystone Canyon pays tribute to the golden age of rock while reaffirming their identity as a band devoted to tone, feel, fire, honesty, and organic sound. It’s a record that reminds listeners of what real rock ’n’ roll is meant to be — alive, human, and timeless.

Canadian Death Metal HARVESTED Unleashes A Brutal Reckoning w/ New Video “Gathered and Deluded”

New Album “Dysthymia” Out Now!

Album Line-up: (L-R) – Jacob Collins – Drums, Vitto Oh – Guitars, Mitchi Dimitriadis – Guitars, Adam Semler – Vocals, Eric Forget – Bass

Ottawa/Gatineau-based death metal band Harvested has premiered their crushing new video “Gathered and Deluded” exclusively through NoCleanSinging. The track is taken from their latest full-length album “Dysthymia,” a record that pushes the band’s sound to new extremes while exploring the brutal realities of mental illness.

Harvested’s sound can be summed up in five words: Heavy, Brutal, Fast, Aggressive, Violent. Drawing influence from death metal titans such as Cannibal Corpse, Suffocation, The Zenith Passage, Cattle Decapitation, and Suicide Silence, the band blends old-school death metal ferocity with modern technicality and deathcore intensity.

“Gathered and Deluded”
stands out as the album’s slamming death metal centerpiece, weaving in old-school grooves with technical flourishes. Lyrically, the track delves into the darker realities of cults and hive-mind psychology, continuing the band’s thematic focus on mental illness.

Watch the music video premiere of “Gathered and Deluded” now via NoCleanSinging HERE.

Following their 2022 EP debut, “Dysthymia” represents Harvested’s evolution in songwriting, production, and musical prowess. Recorded with Joe Lyko of Dark Moon Productions, who took care of mixing and mastering duties, the album balances relentless aggression with psychological depth. Each track explores facets of mental illness, inspired by horror and thriller influences as well as real-life experiences.

“This album is the level-up for Harvested. It’s more technical, more brutal, and more cohesive. Fans who’ve seen us live already know how intense these songs are, and now we’re excited to share them with the world,” says Dimitriadis.

Harvested was formed in 2019 by vocalist Adam Semler, guitarist Mitchi Dimitriadis, drummer Jacob Collins, bassist Eric Forget, and guitarist Vitto as a side project that quickly grew into a powerful presence within the Canadian extreme metal scene. Each member brought with them a wealth of experience and credibility from their work in other bands, making Harvested a union of seasoned musicians deeply rooted in the community. Semler, co-founder of A Scar For The Wicked and guitarist for Sons of the Nether, joined forces with Dimitriadis, who plays guitar for Thalassophobia and fronts Hatred Reigns. Forget, formerly a co-vocalist for A Scar For The Wicked and now bassist for Sons of the Nether, added further depth to the lineup alongside Collins, drummer for Thalassophobia and formerly of Harmoniaq. Completing the group is Vitto, whose guitar work in Fumigation and Nirthal

“We originally just wanted to have fun and change things up. I’d always played guitar in bands and figured I’d try a shot at vocals,” says Semler.

Their collective experience has earned Harvested recognition in outlets such as MetalSucks, which named them among “10 Modern Canadian Death Metal Bands” to watch.

Known for their tight, athletic performances, Harvested delivers blistering speed, crushing grooves, and uncompromising brutality on stage. With “Dysthymia” now complete, the band looks forward to bringing their new material to audiences across Canada and beyond.

“If the reception is strong, fans can expect a second album on the horizon,” Dimitriadis adds.

“Canadian death metal band Harvested announce their new album Dysthymia, out August 1. The record will be their first release since their 2022 demo and blends technical, brutal and old-school death metal into a sound all their own.” – Decibel Magazine

“Your muscles are about to reflexively twitch, your head is about to hammer, your pulse is about to accelerate. Audio worms will slither into your ear canals and take up residence there. Some of your cranial neurons may start spinning, creating visions of fast devils and hulking monsters. Those are our predictions of what will happen when you see and hear the playthrough video we’re premiering for the song “Synaptic Confusion” by the Ottawa-based death metal band Harvested. It’s an excellent way to rev up your own motor as Harvested rev up theirs.” – No Clean Singing

“Dysthymia is an impressive first full-length effort for Harvested. It’s absolutely brutal and groovy in it’s more ’90s death metal approach, but they give it a modern coating of paint that makes it feel more relevant and weaves in some intricacy for the tech-fiends without losing sight that it’s still an aggressive death metal album. There’s something for pretty much anyone who likes extreme music here. A very promising future for these guys.” – Dead Rhetoric

“Lyrically poignant, brutally heavy, and bursting with engagingly twisted, hook-filled instrumentation, Dysthymia is a helluva debut, and one Harvested should be proud of. As poetically as I have waxed, I still believe there’s room for Harvested to grow. God help those who might lay their ears on a sophomore effort from this line-up, should they remain intact. Rest assured, I’ll definitely be watching and waiting. For now, however, I wholeheartedly recommend you spend some long-lasting, quality time with Dysthymia.” – Angry Metal Guy

“If you had the chance to see their video of ‘Harvested’ before the album release, you would be able to see how brutal and technical they sound. Harvested knows how to hit you like a punch in your chest, from their first riffs. By the way, riffs are something that you won’t miss here. Mitchi Dimitriadis and Vitto Oh are responsible machine-gun-like guitar picks. The drum sound also hits you with all blasts, and thankfully it’s not that digitalized soulless recording style that a lot of bands fall into now. It carries good organic production qualities, in good measure. My honourable congratulations also go to all the effort the bassist Eric Forget has made to keep his bass present among all the heaviness of the other instruments, and through the complexity of playing his own parts. The vocalist Adam Semler completes the team with good vocal lines… As always, Heavy Metal Canadian bands never disappoint us! And Harvested is one more band to honour its Heavy Metal scene with this incredible album, “Dysthymia”.8.5/10” – Ever -Metal

“If you’re into relentless death metal in the vein of CANNIBAL CORPSE and DYING FETUS, HARVESTED from Ontario could be your favorite new band. These guys have churned forth a classic of brutality with “Dysthymia”. The sound is just as clear and professional as those bands and HARVESTED deal crushing riffs and transitions with appalling intensity. One of the best things about this album, which separates it from a lot of “brutal” efforts, is that the songs are easily distinguishable and don’t melt together in a faceless mush.” – Wormwood Chronicles

“Following a demo released in 2022, Dysthymia represents a true validation of the potential of this group from Ottawa (Ontario, Canada), which deserves special attention. Combining brutal death metal with ‘old school’ influences, the quartet brilliantly demonstrates that their music will resonate with crowds during their concerts… With titles like ‘Repressed Neurosis’, ‘Unending Madness’, ‘Designed Dilemma’, ‘Gathered And Deluded’, ‘Unanchored’, or ‘The Infestation’, Harvested sets the tone! The album was produced by the band itself with mixing and mastering by Joe Lyko of Darkmoon Productions, achieving a modern sound that remains rooted in the fundamental elements of death metal.” – Metallian

“Harvested Delivers 50 Shades of Vicious on ‘Dysthymia’… Dysthymia is one of the year’s best metal records.”-The Rock Father

“If you like brutal death metal with technical elements, this is a great album.” – ZwareMetalen

“HARVESTED deliver flawless death metal with technical sophistication, powerful riffs, gripping vocals and brutal energy.” – MetalUnderground.at

“Harvested channel the struggles of mental illness within the seedy confines of death metal on their debut album, Dysthymia. The group doesn’t skimp on the gorier details, like the depictions of torture on opener “Harvested,” but much of the lyrical prose isn’t that graphic. It takes the views of mental illness from not only a personal perspective, but globally as well. Their death metal has nods to the classics like Cannibal Corpse and Suffocation, while adding a bit of technical bounce as they do on “Designed Dilemma.” Harvested does well with capturing the genre from every corner. Speed freaks will love “Gathered And Deluded,” those with some head banging in their hearts will get down to “Unending Madness” and “The Infestation” ends Dysthymia with a stark message.” – Heavy Music Headquarters

“After knocking the first three tracks out of the park like a home run into the stratosphere, “Synaptic Confusion” goes harder and faster during an opening onslaught second to none before getting menacing and sinister with a slower churn and burn. A violent delight with a catchy hook and a scream-a-long lyrical narrative in the chorus, its the kind of blunt force trauma that everyone can enjoy without a visit to the hospital. Maintaining the quality levels of both musicianship and song writing throughout the record seems like an impossibility of reason and yet its probably why this record took three years to complete because “Designed Dilemma” is another absolute beast. It’s like the band have taken your favourite Death Groove Thrash cut and adrenalized it by mainlining caffeine until their eyes pop out on stalks. The energy levels are as ridiculous as the poise and precision as the band conjure a Technical Death Metal tune of the highest order.” – Metal Noise

Streaming Now! Quebec Deathcore Force DISCOVERY THROUGH TORMENT’s EP “Telesynthetic Rebirth”

+ New Video “Arcane Inception”

Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QC, Canada deathcore force Discovery Through Torment is set to unleash their new EP, “Telesynthetic Rebirth,” with an exclusive advance stream premiering on Decibel Magazine a full day ahead of its official release on December 5th. Fans can experience the band’s most ambitious and brutal work yet before it drops worldwide.

Listen to the EP’s full stream premiere on Decibel Magazine HERE.

Formed out of a desire to push heaviness to its limits, Discovery Through Torment has carved a reputation in the Quebec underground for its uncompromising blend of slam, brutal death metal, and blackened atmospheres. Since their debut, “Divine in Blood” (2020), and the acclaimed follow-up, “The Mangled God” (2022), the band has evolved into a sharpened five-piece lineup, now fronted by vocalist Alex Desroches. With “Telesynthetic Rebirth,” they deliver a bold new chapter defined by narrative-driven lyrics, cinematic scope, and relentless aggression.

“On this EP, we took the time to experiment a lot and find the right balance between sounding fresh and staying true to our sound. It’s very dark and heavy, with sci-fi atmospheres and plenty of surprises. We are very proud of this one, it hits HARD,” adds the band.

The EP plays out like a video game-inspired descent into collapse and conquest, pulling listeners through five chapters of divine downfall, human abduction, and engineered genocide. Musically, it balances towering, cinematic compositions with suffocating heaviness, fusing slam brutality and blackened deathcore atmospheres into a relentless narrative arc. It begins with “Dethronement,” a grand opener announcing the fall of the Mangled God with epic scale, before plunging into “Arcane Inception,” where crushing riffs expose the apocalyptic intentions of a new force rising from the ashes. The tone grows colder and more clinical in “Veil Unfurling,” transforming captives into telepathic servants through a chilling blend of atmosphere and brutality. The intensity reaches its peak in “Lesions,” a punishingly direct assault that warns of inevitable demise with twisted vocal lines and relentless weight. Finally, “First Encounter Assault Regiment” closes the record with a genocidal march, its towering chorus and cliffhanger ending leaving the storyline suspended in anticipation of the destructive chapter still to come.

The EP’s artwork mirrors this ominous narrative, drenched in red hues and desolate landscapes that hint at alien origins and looming menace. Adding to its depth are several fun details: hidden nods to the first F.E.A.R. game woven into track titles and lyrics, the clinical edge of “Veil Unfurling” born from a binge of House M.D., and synth layers crafted in DIY fashion by guitarist Sam experimenting at home.

For fans of Aversions Crown, Rings of Saturn, and Mental Cruelty, “Telesynthetic Rebirth” drops December 5th, 2025, on all major platforms.

“It certainly won’t take long for Discovery Through Torment to attack again with the next chapter in their already solid career, and I can’t wait to see what’s next for such an up-and-coming Deathcore ensemble after the striking and incendiary Telesynthetic Rebirth. Best moments of the album: Arcane Inception and Lesions. Worst moments of the album: None.” – The Headbanging Moose

“Discovery Through Torment ont ouvert la soirée avec leur interprétation de pièce Slam/Deathcore. On a été servie avec des Breakdowns crasseux et des grooves de cavernes. Musiciens talentueux et un chanteur qui contrôle très bien les tonalités de haut à très gras. En fait, c’est bien Alex Desroches qui est aussi chanteur de Ignominy. Leur setlist est disponible sur Spotify

Discovery Through Torment opened the evening with their rendition of slam/deathcore tracks. We were treated to grimy breakdowns and cavern grooves. Talented musicians and a singer who masters the tones from high to very fat. In fact, it’s Alex Desroches who is also the singer of Ignominy. Their setlist is available on Spotify” – Ondes Chocs (Kaboom Fest @ Foufounes Électriques, Mtl – September 29 and 30, 2023)

NEWS RELEASE

Montreal, QC – December 4, 2025

JON HARRIS Pays Tribute to Quincy Jones in New Playthrough Video “Mustard N Ketchup”

Latest Album “Parallel Heart” Out Now! via Epictronic

Get ready to move! Canadian (Edmonton, AB) instrumental rock phenomenon JON HARRIS is back with a new playthrough video for his track, “Mustard N Ketchup,” a standout cut from his critically acclaimed album, “Parallel Heart.”

This new video gives fans a deep dive into the technical wizardry and infectious grooves that make Harris a must-watch guitarist. Blending vast rock dynamics with irresistible funk and dance elements, “Mustard N Ketchup” is a high-energy track that defies genre, proving that instrumental music can be the heart-pounding foundation of pure rock ‘n’ roll.

Jon Harris revealed the surprisingly sophisticated recipe behind the track, citing some of music history’s biggest names as inspiration:

“I get asked about this song more than any other on the record, probably because it stands out in a lot of ways. Mustard N Ketchup is my homage to one of my all-time favourite producers, Quincy Jones, and the magic he created with Michael Jackson and legendary Toto guitarist Steve Lukather. I’ve always loved the sound of the ’80s, and I’ve always loved dance music. To me, it’s the heartbeat of rock, as music should make you move!”

Harris, who is also an accomplished chef, ties the track’s title back to his culinary expertise, reinforcing the idea of a universal language of creation:

“The title is also a nod to my life as a chef, where everything starts with the basic building blocks of flavour. Whether it’s food or music, great things come from a solid foundation.”

Watch the new “Mustard N Ketchup” playthrough video – https://youtu.be/0OIJlqg9Btk

“Parallel Heart” continues to showcase Harris’ mastery of instrumental rock, blending technical precision with emotional resonance. While completely instrumental, the album conveys stories of tension and release, exploring the space between connection and chaos, creative ambition and everyday demands. From the pulsing energy of Togetherness to the shimmering retro feel of 97BPM, each track builds its own emotional narrative.

Harris, who performed guitar, drums, bass, piano, and production on the record, proves himself not only a guitarist to watch but a full-scale sonic architect. His sound bridges blues-soaked rock, synth-driven textures, and funk grooves with cinematic flair, evoking a blend that’s reminiscent of Jeff Beck meeting Prince with a modern rock edge.

“It’s a looping track (Entitled) that turns noodling guitar solos into an optimistic resolve. ” – Exclaim!

“guitar virtuoso Jon Harris offers a welcome throwback on ‘Togetherness’, the second single to be released from his forthcoming LP ‘Parallel Heart’. An instrumental number, its mid tempo and groove oriented base is immediately reminiscent of works by Joe Satriani, but unlike so many fretboard freaks, Harris clearly values a great melody instead of a pure shred. Here, he lays down a semi bluesy tone over a solid rock groove, before branching out to inject a funk derived rhythm with a cleaner tone, and bell like melodies. The arrangement eventually finds room for a few slightly fuzzy sounding harmonics and a melody that could be one of Satch’s best, circa ‘The Extremist’.” – Real Gone Rocks

“It’s Friday! And we have the pleasure of adding the new single “Togetherness” from six-string slinger Jon Harris. An instrumental driving rock track with an accessible melody and plenty of layered soloing to keep you engaged throughout, “Togetherness” is a rewarding five minutes without those pesky vocals! Taken from his forthcoming album “Parallel Heart” set for a December release, catch Jon Harris on your Home for the Best New Rock…W-J-O-EEEE!”

“His artistic ability blends technical brilliance and emotional depth, creating immersive soundscapes that push the boundaries of rock.” – Video Sound Art Magazine

“If melodic and elegant instrumental hard rock is music you tend to enjoy, and you appreciate some occasional funky interceptions in such landscapes, then this is an album that you probably will find to be an enjoyable and rewarding experience.” – The Viking in the Wilderness

Saskatoon, Canada’s death thrash force Pythonic has announced the release of their second single, “Liturgy”, following the success of their first single, “Guiltfeeder”. Both tracks pave the way for the band’s highly anticipated sophomore EP “Decomposition,” set to drop on December 19, 2025.

Formed by guitarist Vincent Kohut, Pythonic was born out of a desire to break free from subgenre constraints and deliver metal in its purest, most aggressive form. Alongside lead guitarist Ryan Hunter, bassist Max Hiske, drummer Jayden, and new vocalist Morgan Warriner, the band has forged a sound described as aggressive, groovy, raw, thick, and dirty.

“Liturgy came out so good on the recordings, we couldn’t help but spotlight this track. The riffs rip, the drums rip, the bass rips, what can we say, this song rips. It’s such a classic metal song, with lyrics about summoning a demon under a blood moon. Morgan’s guttural delivery took it to another level,” says the band.

Listen to “Liturgy” via its premiere on Bravewords HERE.

The band’s second EP, “Decomposition”, represents a heavier, more death-metal-oriented chapter for Pythonic. Tracks such as “Conceit”, “Pills”, and “Collateral” showcase themes of corruption, addiction, toxic relationships, and triumph, while “Liturgy” embodies the band’s darker, more extreme influences. The EP artwork, created by Danya Lawton, visually decays the band’s debut imagery to reflect the reimagined nature of the songs.

“When we brought in Morgan as our new singer, the songs came alive again. What once felt tired now feels powerful; his vocals gave them the chance they deserved. Max’s bass adds a soul-shaking thump, especially on Collateral, while Jayden’s heavier drumming drives the tracks with ferocity and double kicks. We also worked with Reid Paraszczynec of Lucid Distortion Audio, a longtime friend of Vincent and Ryan, whose mixing and mastering made the songs sound phenomenal. Reid’s sharp ear and easygoing nature helped usher in the next chapter of Pythonic the right way,” adds the band.

Fans can brace themselves for an all-out assault of crushing riffs, pounding bass, unrelenting drums, and guttural vocals, solidifying Pythonic as a powerhouse in Canada’s rising metal scene.

The band is set to storm Slaughterfest in Edmonton, AB, on December 6th, sharing the stage with Display of Decay, Brain Stem, Ages of Ashes, A Modern Prometheus, and Cell – info.

Recommended for fans of Lamb of God, Morbid Angel, Devildriver, and Black Dahlia Murder, “Decomposition” will be available on digital platforms on December 19, 2025.

About: Born in Saskatoon, SK, Pythonic is a death‑groove metal powerhouse that fuses the ferocity of Lamb of God, Black Dahlia Murder, and Cryptopsy with its own raw, uncompromising vision. Conceived by guitarist Vincent Kohut as a project free from subgenre boundaries, the band embraces the philosophy that “metal is metal.” Together with lead guitarist Ryan Hunter, Kohut carved out a sound that is aggressive, groovy, thick, and unapologetically dirty, a sonic identity that refuses to be confined. The addition of Morgan Warriner on vocals and Max Hiske on bass has solidified Pythonic’s most devastating lineup to date. Warriner’s guttural range, soaring highs, and earth‑shaking lows have been praised as transformative, while Hiske’s thunderous bass lines add depth and weight to every track. Anchored by Jayden’s relentless drumming, the band operates as a tightly locked unit, delivering a crushing live experience.

““EP 1” is a testament to Pythonic‘s dedication to their craft and their refusal to be confined by sub-genre limitations. Each song is a blend of technical prowess and raw emotion, offering listeners a chance to experience the full spectrum of the band’s capabilities. It is recommended for fans of Machine Head, Trivium and Pantera.” – Metal-Rules (EP01 – 2024)

“Pythonic comes from Canada with ‘Epica’, a track that features fast-paced guitar riffs, heavy drums and an engaging, torn vocal that delivers to listeners the essence of metal and subverts such as alternative, thrash and even melodic, being perfect to the circle and not to leave anyone standing still.” – Os Garot Os Deliverpool (EP01 – 2024)

“Pythonic has an EP for you. Blending Thrash with Old School Swedish Death Metal, the band manages to sound like Entombed but without losing its unique style… So if you have a few minutes of anger to drain, these guys are going to cover you!” – Metal Eclipse Reviews (EP01 – 2024)

“Overall I’m a pretty big fan of this record. If you want something that sounds maybe like an Anthrax or a Slayer record then you really want to check this out. The most dynamic and unique part of this EP, in particular is the vocals are double-tracked and they’re very high in the mix which is something that is somewhat different than a lot of the other metal releases this year which I greatly appreciate. If you want something that has a lot of the thrash guitar element then you’re really going to want to check this out. The guitar and drum parts are fantastic, they really keep the songs very tight even though the vocals are very in your face and they’re usually the the first thing that you would notice with this kind of record but overall this is very strong.” – Brutally Delicious (EP01 – 2024)

“From the Russian city of Zlatoust which overlooks the river Ay, famed for its creation of swords and sabres, beautiful instruments of death, comes the decimating sonic assault of Insect Inside. Lured into the web of Gore House Productions, Insect Inside are now primed to unleash the fear infused death metal of The First Shining Of New Genus on an unsuspecting world… An intro with some impact, the squelch of footsteps through what sounds like a swamp, leading to the cries of some poor victim sets the stage for Insect Inside’s The First Shining of New Genus. Focus on the filth, because that is what this band deliver in spates across nine rough and tough death metal tracks.” – Games, Brrraaains & A Head-Banging Life

“Insect Inside relies on unpredictability to elevate beyond the brutal stereotype. Shifting tempos, groovy rhythms, technical leads, pinch harmonics, and flashes of dissonance keep its grinding slams and beatdown sections from growing too stagnant… Insect Inside’s The First Shining of New Genus offers concussive slam that will get you buzzing.” – Angry Metal Guy

“A surprisingly level of hookiness invades Insect Inside, while they still deliver on all of the body-crippling violence you would expect from such an act. The First Shining of New Genus is a release that you can groove along with in addition to getting your daily dose of utter brutality.” – Dead Rhetoric

============================================================

About The Album Artwork:

Gloomy and disgusting

About the album as a whole (LYRICALLY & MUSICALLY):

In this album, we managed to create a symbiosis of groove-based slamming and dark brutal death metal. The lyrics are about the domination of the insectoid race

Track by Track (LYRICALLY & MUSICALLY):

1. Echoes of the swallowed sinners
Most darkest song on the album. Lyrically, it is a look into the abyss of the human world’s disfigured souls.

2. Abhorrent Landscape
One of the upcoming singles from this LP and one of the best songs. Guttural maestro Mr. Ochoa from Cephalotripsy added slam weight to this track.

3. Fragments
Short song, but it’s for the better. Here we organically fit everything we like in death metal, chaos, groove, and sinister atmosphere.

4. Putrid Lament
Nothing extra, but really god damn slam song

5. Hiveborn Abomination
The most striking songs from the album. Killing part of Mr. Welshman makes this track even more valuable and unique.

6. Flesh Cathedral
One of the slowed songs on this album, more slam grooves, less blastbeats

7. Obscuration Worship
The first track we wrote for this album. It set the mood of overwhelming darkness and heaviness for the entire next release

8. Carnal Ruins
The main brawler of this album, hardcore groove, blastbeats, and nothing extra

9. Parasite Messiah
The single we released two years ago has been slightly revised and elevated to an absolute.

10. Reborn In Blight
Final song on this monolith. There we are, trying to play with groovy classic, speed, and guitar solo for the first time, by the way. In this track, you will find everything you love in death metal.

====================================================

Emerging from the depths of the Eastern European death metal underground, Chelyabinsk, Russia’s Insect Inside was born out of a shared obsession with slamming brutality and the raw energy of the local scene. What began as casual jam sessions and cover experiments quickly evolved into a full-fledged sonic assault. Fueled by a desire to carve their own path in the brutal death metal realm, the band forged their identity with a sound that’s unapologetically tight and aggressive.

Their upcoming second full-length album, Reborn in Blight, drops January 2026 via Gore House Productions, marking their return with a vengeance. This release is a grotesque symbiosis of groove-heavy slam and dark, atmospheric brutality. From the guttural depths of “Abhorrent Landscape” featuring Mr. Ochoa of Cephalotripsy, to the chaotic precision of “Fragments,” the album delivers a listening experience drenched in gloom and aggression, perfect for gym warriors or those ready to throw down in the pit.

Lyrically, Insect Inside crafts short, apocalyptic tales of humanity’s demise and the rise of the insectoid race. The band’s writing process is a collaborative ritual: members live in different cities, composing riffs and ideas remotely before refining them together. Daniel leads the songwriting charge, with Ivan and Daniel penning most of the lyrics, often shaped by the mood and atmosphere of the music itself.

The lineup boasts a roster of seasoned scene veterans:

  • Bogdan (bass) – Cold Blooded Murder, Traumatomy
  • Pavel (guitar) – Ocean In My Bath
  • Daniel (vocals) – Nauseating, Morphogenetic Malformation, светлеет
  • Ivan (drums) – Nauseating

Live, Insect Inside is a force of nature. Expect relentless mosh pits, slams, and headbanging, sometimes even fans in dinosaur costumes. Their shows are as chaotic and primal as their music.

Influenced by titans like Ulcerate, Relics Of Humanity, Cryptopsy, Defeated Sanity, and Vulvectomy, Insect Inside draws from brutal death metal and black metal to craft their evolving sound. Over time, they’ve shifted from a polished, “plastic” production to a rawer, more visceral tone that better reflects their lyrical themes and sonic violence.

The album artwork for Reborn in Blight is as grotesque as the music itself, gloomy, disgusting, and perfectly suited to the band’s apocalyptic vision. With tracks like “Echoes of the Swallowed Sinners,” “Hiveborn Abomination,” and the title track “Reborn in Blight,” fans can expect a relentless barrage of slam, blastbeats, and suffocating atmosphere.

And this is just the beginning. With more material already brewing, Insect Inside promises to keep the brutality coming in the years ahead.

0 GRAVEWITCH Unleashes New Music Video “Mistress of Hate” from Self-Titled Album Out Now!

NEWS RELEASE

Montreal, QC – December 3, 2025

GRAVEWITCH Unleashes New Music Video “Mistress of Hate” from Self-Titled Album Out Now!

Extreme metal duo Gravewitch have released their brand-new music video “Mistress Hate,” a blistering visual companion to their self-titled album, which dropped this past June via Rock Sun Records. The release marks a defining moment for the band, showcasing their evolution from raw beginnings to a fully realised professional sound.

Formed in 2013 by childhood friends Chris Fleming (guitar/vocals) and Andrew Ingraham (drums), Gravewitch was born out of a shared passion for heavy music and a desire to carve their own path in the underground scene.

“We’ve been best friends since childhood and decided to create Gravewitch when we were sophomores in high school. This band has always been about pushing ourselves creatively and staying true to our vision,” says Fleming.

Fusing elements of Black Metal, Thrash, Death Metal, Melodic Death Metal, and Cascadian Black Metal into a sound that is both punishing and atmospheric, Gravewitch is relentless, melodic, heavy, intriguing, and old-school.

Gravewitch’s self-titled album takes listeners on a dark and diverse journey through ten tracks, each with its own distinct theme and musical identity. From the haunting portrayal of early 1900s insane asylums in Damnable Evil to the personal nightmare of sleep paralysis in Phantasm, the band blends thrash, black, and melodic elements with precision. Mistress of Hate revisits the brutality of witch trials, while Ritual Reanimation summons undead armies through thrash-driven intensity. Nature and atmosphere dominate Atmospheric Alterations, contrasting with the chilling true-crime narrative of White City Devil about serial killer H.H. Holmes. Woodland Trance evokes haunted forests with cascadian black metal textures, and Systematic Fallout delivers pure thrash chaos alongside the band’s first-ever guitar solo. War themes emerge in Operation Overlord, immersing listeners in the chaos of D-Day, while The Once Sacred Gift of Life closes the album with grief, mortality, and the origins of Gravewitch’s sound. Together, the record showcases the duo’s ability to fuse extreme metal subgenres into a cohesive yet varied listening experience.

“Written during the chaos of 2020, our self-titled album reflects the uncertainty of the times. We had no idea if these songs were ever going to see the light of day. The chaotic energy of the world matched the diversity of the music, so we embraced different lyrical topics that had nothing to do with each other,” adds Fleming.

The new video “Mistress Hate” captures the raw energy and occult-inspired aesthetic that defines Gravewitch. Filmed in South Wales, United Kingdom by Ritual Video, the clip features the same actress who played “The Witch” in the band’s debut video Circle of Power from their first album “The Summoning.”

Recommended for fans of Kreator, Dark Funeral, Amon Amarth, Uada, and Skeletonwitch, Gravewitch‘s self-titled album, released on June 18, 2025, via Rock Sun Records, is available on all digital platforms and CD.

“Turn the ignition on this song (Mistress of Hate) and it will rev up your engine into the red zone damned fast, with drums and bass pumping like high-octane pistons, the guitars going fiery and wild, and the vocals gnashing at your throat.” – No Clean Singing

“There’s a lot to savour here as Gravewitch inserts flecks of death and thrash into their already potent formula. I’ve given this album quite a few spins now and I recommend you do too.” – Neil Arnold / Metal Forces Magazine

“A blood-soaked gore-fest, of intense proportions; ‘Gravewitch’ does just as expected; fulfilling its purpose. Brilliant technical precision’s where this is at, though structurally and tonally, it’s not that different to most others in the same genre. So mainly, it just needs to introduce some variation and original signature touches, to add to the already highly skilled craftsmanship. Melodically, there’s room for growth, but all in all, an effective album, with a lot of well showcased musicianship. 9/10” – Rock Queen Reviews

==================================================

About The Album Artwork (explained by Chris Fleming, Guitar/Vocals):

We decided to make this a self-titled album. We did this because each of the 10 tracks represents something completely different then each other. We thought it made sense to make this our self-titled album, showcasing how our sound is evolving for future works. With that being said, we decided to go with a witch on the front album cover to go along with the band’s name. As well as a representation of our first album’s (The Summoning) front cover artwork. (Chris Fleming, Guitar/Vocals)

About The Album as a Whole (LYRICALLY & MUSICALLY) (explained by Chris Fleming, Guitar/Vocals):

Despite being written in E Standard, this album is very heavy. The heaviness of this album hits you differently than the traditional Black/Thrash Metal album. It particularly shows the listener how we fuse together different sub-genres of Extreme Metal in each song differently throughout the album. The lyrical themes are all different from each other. I feel that this release shows we are diverse songwriters, and we feel that it shows that we are diverse in what we write our music about. (Chris Fleming, Guitar/Vocals)

Track By Track (explained by Chris Fleming, Guitar/Vocals):

1. Damnable Evil:
Lyrically, this song is about old insane asylums that used to operate in the early 1900s. This song describes what it might have been like inside one of these institutions as a person who was admitted. It describes the different ways people were treated and how they were so-called “cured” for their ailments. Musically, this song is a little different. It still has the elements of Thrash Metal and Black Metal, but it also has a little more groove than most of the songs on the album. I feel the instrumentation captures what the lyrics are explaining very well.

2. Phantasm:
Lyrically, this song describes what it would be like to have sleep paralysis or a sleep demon. This song comes from actual first-hand experience I have had in the past. It describes what it is like to be stuck and not be able to wake yourself, even though you know you’re dreaming or having a nightmare. Musically, this song has many different riffs and parts that flow together very well, but can also almost feel chaotic. This is because I wanted the listener to have a feeling of dread and darkness when listening to this song, and how it correlates with the lyrics.

3. Mistress of Hate:
Lyrically, this song is about a witch being hunted and what happens to them after they have been indicted for their crimes. It describes many ways witches would be sentenced to death, such as hanging or burning at the stake. Musically, this song encapsulates the way that we mix many metal subgenres together. It starts off fast and thrashy, then turns melodic and into our own form of black metal, all while giving the listener a good listening experience despite the genre changes mid-song.

4. Ritual Reanimation:
Lyrically, this song is about the art of Necromancy. It is about raising an undead army to destroy the human race. Musically, this song is a little more simplistic, sticking to a more Melodic Thrash Metal style. With a few changes and the intro, we felt this one could be more simplistic and a straightforward moshing song.

5. Atmospheric Alterations:
Lyrically, this song describes how the seasons change on Earth from winter to spring to summer to fall. It has more of a natural and atmospheric perspective compared to the other songs on the album. Musically, this song is pretty different. Starting with a very heavy melodic intro, it turns into a droning Cascadian black metal piece that takes you on a journey of the seasons changing on earth.

6. White City Devil:
Lyrically, this song is about the infamous serial killer H.H. Holmes and his murder castle located in Chicago, (White City), Illinois. This song is from the perspective of someone who has been lured to the infamous hotel and trapped by the sadistic Holmes. The song’s lyrics go through to describe some of the things and ways Holmes would keep his victims trapped in the hotel and how he would go about murdering them. Musically, this song is still very melodic, but I also feel it has a little more death metal elements than some of the other songs on the album. I feel like the song structure sums up the lyrical context very well. (Chris Fleming, Guitar/Vocals)

7. Woodland Trance:
Lyrically, this song is about the many different supernatural and haunted forests all around the world. It takes the listener on an adventure of grief and darkness just like how these locations would make you feel if you were actually there. These forests would give people very negative thoughts, and many turned to suicide because of how heavy the presence of darkness is. Musically, this song takes on a more Cascadian Black metal sound but is still very melodic. The song starts with a clean intro that captivates the listener and then takes them on a journey, or on a Woodland Trance. It then breaks up with a faster melodic/thrashy bridge. After the bridge, the song revisits the clean guitar intro, followed by the main riff & then the outro. (Chris Fleming, Guitar/Vocals)

8. Systematic Fallout:
Lyrically, this song is about what could or would happen during a nuclear war. It describes some of the things you might hear or feel during such a trying time. Musically, with this song, we decided to keep it straight thrash metal just for the sake of what the song is about. It also features the very first guitar solo ever recorded for a Gravewitch song. (Chris Fleming, Guitar/Vocals)

9. Operation Overlord:
Lyrically, this song is about war, specifically World War II and Operation D-Day. The song describes what it would be like, in my own words and thoughts, to be a part of such a massive battle. It is from the perspective of a soldier who had left the U-boats to go and fight on foot on the shore. The name Operation Overlord comes from the secret name of the mission for D-Day. Musically, this song is very fast and intense. It is written to make you feel like you are on the battlefield and are experiencing what these soldiers felt while being a part of this historic battle. This track is melodic, as well as heavy, and has a clean intro that, after listening to it, will make you want to hear the rest of the song. (Chris Fleming, Guitar/Vocals)

10. The Once Sacred Gift of Life:
Lyrically, this song is about human life and how suddenly it can disappear. Focusing on grief from losing someone and suicide, it has a very ominous, dark feeling. Musically, this song is more on the melodic black metal side. This is the very first song Andrew and I ever wrote as Gravewitch. It has appeared in many live performances and was on one of the very first demos we ever recorded. This is the song that sparked what we are as Gravewitch today.

Stories/Fun Facts:

1. Our self-titled album’s producer, Johnny Davis, owns one of Bend, Oregon’s best live music bars called “The Volcanic Theatre And Pub”, & he owns his own recording studio. (1988 Recording Studio)

2. Our drummer Andrew’s father, Jeff Ingraham, played drums for Country Music legends: Merle Haggard, Kris Kristofferson, & Marty Stewart. His father, Jeff, currently records drums & tours with Merle Haggard’s son Benny Haggard.

3. Andrew & Chris first met at La Pine, Oregon’s elementary school when they were in 2nd grade. They’ve been best friends ever since, & they’ve been playing music together since they were in 6th grade. They formed Gravewitch when they were 16 & 17 years old, when they were Sophomores in high school. They’ve been going on with the same band, same name, ever since then. Andrew & Chris are now 28 & 29 years old.

4. Chris got his start in music from his grandparents in Ohio, who were Bluegrass musicians. His grandpa, Ron Lay, played the fiddle & his grandma, Donna Lay, played the upright bass. His grandma had the opportunity to open for Alison Krause back in the day & his grandpa ran sound & lights for the entire tour package. Chris is completely self-taught at guitar & Extreme Metal vocals. Never received a lesson in his entire life for guitar or Metal vocals. Andrew & Chris were in a choir class in Middle School, but they didn’t teach them anything about Extreme Metal vocals. Chris learned guitar by listening to his favourite bands and learning how to read & play guitar tabs online. YouTube videos were key for him.

5. Andrew got his start very early in life at 5 years old from his father, Jeff Ingraham. He was never pressured to learn from his father; he naturally developed an interest & love to play on his own terms. His father only introduced him to drumming & only taught him the basic rock beat & a couple of other key drum elements/rudiments. Other than that, Andrew is a completely self-taught drummer. He learned by continuously listening to his favorite bands and mimicking the drummer’s playing. Once Andrew fell in a deep love with drumming, his father gifted him his Renown Maple Golden Gretsch drum kit, along with buying Andrew his first double kick pedal set.

Bend, Oregon — 2013. Chris Fleming and Andrew Ingraham first raised the banners of Gravewitch in the heart of Oregon’s shadowed high desert; the world of blackened thrash metal wasn’t exactly waiting for them, but it should’ve been. Their unholy alliance would go on to carve a jagged path through a decade of turmoil, triumph, and relentless performance, delivering a brutal fusion of thrash, black, death, and melodic metal that strikes with the fury of an avalanche and the cold precision of a blade through bone.

From the very beginning, Gravewitch, born as a two-piece with Fleming on guitar/vocals and Ingraham on drums, laid the foundation for something far darker than their humble beginnings suggested. Their sound, a storm of buzzing riffs, blast beats, and unyielding growls, evolved with each release and performance, folding in elements from legends like Kreator, Testament, Amon Amarth, Emperor, and Vader. The chemistry between the founding duo is undeniable.

The music, like the band itself, is unrelenting, a blend of old-school thrash’s speed and aggression, black metal’s cold, atmospheric darkness, and the weight of death metal’s hammer. Fleming’s lyrics are just as aggressive, each track an exploration of battle, rebellion, and darkness, all delivered with a razor-sharp edge. “Circle of Power,” their anthemic fan favorite, serves as a testament to their unyielding spirit, always present in their setlists, a grim declaration of their musical fire.

A Decade of Relentless Grind

Gravewitch’s rise through the ranks of the Pacific Northwest’s underground metal scene has been marked by a slew of impressive performances and accomplishments. Local press documented the band’s early days, and by 2015, they were carving their name into the region’s live music circuit, sharing stages with heavyweights like Lord Dying, Castle, Inanimate Existence, and Nervosa.

But their story doesn’t stop there. Gravewitch has long been a fixture on the road, expanding its reach with every tour. In 2017, they booked their own West Coast tour, hitting California, Arizona, & circling back through Southern California, through Northern California, & into Oregon. Later in 2017, they embarked on a much larger tour supporting Voltumna, a blackened death metal band from Italy, on the “Itinere Inferi West Coast Tour.” Their unrelenting performances took them across a wide swath of the U.S, carving a permanent mark in the underground metal scene.

On the Rise

Gravewitch’s first EP, Soul Reaper, released in 2015, was the spark that set it all off, laying the foundation for their towering presence in the scene. Their debut full-length, The Summoning (2020), marked a defining moment in their sound, blending the harsh precision of black metal with the thundering force of thrash. Tracks like “Circle of Power” became staples of their live shows, songs that encapsulate the very soul of Gravewitch: fast, dark, melodic, and utterly crushing.

Through the years, they’ve stood tall alongside legendary acts, opening for the likes of Warbringer, Flotsam and Jetsam, and Goatwhore. Their performances are nothing short of ferocious, a raw assault on the senses that leaves crowds battered, bruised, and begging for more. Whether playing in packed venues like The Domino Room or under the stars at The Capitol in Bend, they know no other way but to play with the intensity of a band determined to rise above.

Unyielding and Uncompromising

Even so, the band’s journey has always been defined by their refusal to conform. Never signing with a major label, Gravewitch has remained fiercely independent, upholding complete creative control over their music. From the start, they’ve chosen the DIY path, with Chris Fleming handling the bulk of the instrumentation on their releases, ensuring that every riff, every growl, and every pounding drumbeat aligns with their unrelenting vision. This independence has been the bedrock of their identity, allowing them to remain true to their sound and uncompromising in their approach.

Their self-titled second full-length album, Gravewitch (released June 18, 2025), is the band’s most ambitious record yet, one that will no doubt expand on their unique fusion of blackened thrash with all the melodic and guttural elements fans have come to expect.

Gravewitch—A Legacy Carved in Steel

Gravewitch’s story is far from over, and their legacy continues to grow with every show, every album, and every fan that sings their dark hymns. For a band that began in the isolation of Bend, Oregon, their music has spread far and wide, building a cult following that grows with each passing year. Gravewitch is the unrelenting storm, the shadow that haunts the edges of the Pacific Northwest, and a band that demands to be heard—whether you want to or not.

The circle of power is just beginning to take shape.
