Glasgow’s progressive alternative rock band ATLAS : EMPIRE have posted their latest music video “Hostess” in support of their upcoming album “The Stratosphere Beneath Our Feet” due out December 7th, 2018.

Since forming in 2011, ATLAS : EMPIRE have enjoyed success both through their recordings and several tours crossing the UK, the EU and Eastern Canada, including performing at Indieweek in Toronto.

An ambitious concept album , the band is eager to get “The Stratosphere Beneath Our Feet” into the ears of their fans.

Guitarist Steve Gillies introduces the premise of the album:

“The Stratosphere Beneath Our Feet” is a concept album, based around humanity’s growing reliance on technology and specifically how society falls apart when that fails us. We wrote each song like a chapter in a book, both musically and lyrically, to follow that narrative.”

Weaving their way between the multitudes of different genres that influence them, ATLAS : EMPIRE visit the worlds of heavy progressive rock and expansive ambient shoegaze. Exploring topics that centralize around the concept of become exponentially more reliant on technology and less “connected” by proxy, and the future of modern society when the system we rely on fails. “A lesson in progressive rock” – Rocksound (UK)

“The band show an impressive versatility throughout the record as they straddle various genres with ease. Post-hardcore sits neatly alongside the Maybeshewill inspired post-rock…” – abadgeoffriendship.com

“They hit you with a wall of sound, that has a slightly Math feel to it. The tracks have a lot of overlapping phrases, but with darker tones to the guitars, it almost feels like Deftones and Arcane Roots had a lovechild and raised it in ‘Bonnie’. Both vocalists lighten the mood and play upon a subtle gaelic charm in between tracks…There’s just the right level of melody combined with guitar-wrecking aggression for them to stand out in the Glasgow scene.” – threesongsandout.com

0 Montreal’s FRACTAL CYPHER Unveil Track Listing & Artwork For “Prelude To An Impending Outcome”

NEWS RELEASE

Montreal, QC – September 25, 2018

For fans of Symphony X, Dream Theater, Scar Symmetry, Sonata Arctica, Kamelot

Montreal’s FRACTAL CYPHER Unveil Track Listing & Artwork For “Prelude To An Impending Outcome”

New Mini-Album Promises A “Roller Coaster of Genres”

Montreal prog quartet FRACTAL CYPHER are getting ready to release their mini-album “Prelude To An Impending Outcome” in November and have just unveiled the artwork and the track listing. This 4 song mini-album promises to be a roller coaster of genres across completely different sounding songs with intimate lyrics influenced by personal experiences.

“Prelude To An Impending Outcome is a mini album of 4 songs that are completely different from one to another to create a maximum roller coaster effect and make it non linear and interesting to listen to. The clash of style is more important and more obvious than our previous album, but the songs have gained in maturity in term of songwriting and sound. The vibe of this album is really more intimate, due to the lyrics and the overall ambiance/universe of the songs. The melodic side of the band is still really present, offering catchy vocal lines and outstanding solos all over the songs.” – FRACTAL CYPHER

Each track has a different prominent genre influence from power ballad, blues, djent and jazz with the band’s heavy and melodic base as an anchor. The album artwork was done by Silent Q Design out of Montreal and foreshadows the moody and existential prog metal that lies within. Although this album is more intimate with different textures and influences, the reception to its predecessor should be a prime indication of the talents of FRACTAL CYPHER; this next release is sure to be a masterwork.

Track Listing:
1. Coming Back To Life (10:13)
2. The Grandeur Of It All (6:52)
3. From The Above And To The Stars (8:04)
4. Red Lady (9:30)
Mini-Album Length: 34:30

“Prelude To An Impending Outcome” will be self released on November 8th 2018.

“Need a good song to pump you up for a long day? This classic punk-rock track (We Are One) might even fuel you up better than your morning caffeine boost. You’ll be screaming along with these powerful vocals and air-guitaring these riffs all week long.” – Alt Press

“Legends Never Die gets by on its attitude alone. It’s a short one at just six songs and seventeen minutes, but that’s all The Castor Troys really need to get their point across; very punk rock. “We Are One” is all you can ask for in a punk rock song. With ripping guitars, fast rhythm, catchy group vocal chorus, aggressive lyrics, you can’t ask for anything more. It is very reminiscent of The Offspring or Pennywise, and the alt-punk flavour of the mid nineties. “Watch The City Burn” is more of a classic rocker, maybe with a little southern vibe to it. It had me thinking of Ram Jam’s “Black Betty,” at least at the start. It showcases lead vocalist Aaron Walsh’s storytelling capabilities as he spins a yarn about Hamilton and his seeming irreverence for it.” – Bucketlist Music Reviews

“The Legends Never Die EP departs from their debut album and takes their sound to the next level with a tighter chemistry and production. It boasts two full-throttle singles: “Blackout Love” and the follow-up, “We Are One”… Other standout tracks on the EP include “Burn This City Down” and “Wreck of the Bastard”. After a listen, you’re bound to walk away with at least a few songs stuck in your head! ” – LdnReverb

“Writing music that is catchy and instantly memorable, The Castor Troys weave tales in an accessible and uncompromising manner.” – Ignite Music Mag

“Hard rock revival? I fuckin’ hope so! Add another band to the burgeoning list – Ontario’s The Castor Troys. This hard rockin’ quartet infuse their dynamic new EP with strains of punk, country and loads of heavy rock. Adrenaline pumping screaming melodic anthems that only hard rock can deliver.” – Power of Pop

“The artwork for the Legends Never Die EP, that features a leather clad skeleton shifting into high gear in a muscle car, gives you a a fair idea of what to expect from Ontario’s The Castor Troys latest release, and you won’t be disappointed or surprised as this is balls out rock ‘n roll with a punk edge. ” The Punk Site

“They play a kind of anthemic punk rock with hard rock influences thrown in that has as much to do with Rise Against and Ignite as with Monster Truck and Iron Maiden… If you are into hard rockin’ riffs and tons of ooh’s and aah’s, feel free to check out The Castor Troys.” – Punk Rock Theory

“The new release from Canadian rockers The Castor Troys, everything about the EP caught our instincts and wants in a slab of rock ‘n’ roll whilst providing one of the most fiercely enjoyable encounters this year. ” – The Ringmaster Review

“If Legends Never Die is any indication, The Castor Troys are certainly a band to watch out for as they commence to tour across Ontario and potentially beyond in support of an EP that everyone should be listening to. From front to back, Legends Never Die is an exciting thoroughly enjoyable record.” – Canadian Beats

The Castor Troys are a story-telling hard rock band from Hamilton, Ontario. Through lyrics that tell tales of war heroes, bank robbers, and clandestine lovers, this intrepid four-piece peddles true stories and truer fiction. Drawing inspiration from bands like Headstones, Social Distortion, Motörhead, The Offspring, and Iron Maiden, The Castor Troys craft fiery and infectious songs that draw you in and don’t let go.

Taking their band name from a character in a John Woo film, The Castor Troys are a jubilant mix of hard rock, punk, country and southern rock. “Castor Troy was the villain (played by Nicolas Cage) in Face/Off. He was elegant, flamboyant and stylish, instantly likeable, while at the same time single-minded and ruthless in his pursuit of his goals.” expands the band on their choice of name.

Formed in 2013, they released their debut full-length album “Come Hell or High Water” in May of 2015 and their 6 track EP “Legends Never Die” on November 9, 2018. Working with producer Andre Kaden Black and engineer Tal Vaisman (Ascot Royals) has refined the band’s sound and enabled them to capture the fierce energy of their live performance onto record.

Proven by becoming the 97.7 HTZ-FM Rocksearch 2018 Finalists, The Castor Troys are a relentless team of stage veterans. They’ve played many festivals including Canadian Music Week and the Burlington Sound of Music Festival Kick-off concert.       Ottawa, ON’s TRIGON will be releasing their 11 track debut album ‘Fed Up’ produced by the band with Anders Drerup and due out on March 24th. The band is inspired by artists as diverse as Volbeat, Crobot, David Wilcox, System of A Down, Nirvana, Megadeth, Black Sabbath and Slayer, yet already they have forged their own unique sound.

Their first single ‘Talk To Me’ was released this past February and now the band has another for fans, especially those who are fans of horror and the ‘A Nightmare On Elm Street’ movies.

Teaming up with New Noise Magazine, TRIGON are premiering their frightening single ‘Nightmare’ in tribute to the haunting talents of Freddy Kreuger.

“One night while we were having practice, Gus the guitarist came up with this crazy riff that actually sounded like a nightmare. If you were alive in the 80s, there was this one crazy movie that was terrifying everyone… that’s right Nightmare on Elm Street. So Trigon dedicated this song to the legend Freddy Krueger and his debauchery on Elm Street. Listen carefully as we perform a short bio about Frederick Charles Krueger!  Sweet dreams!” says vocalist / bassist Emanuel Viau.

NEWS RELEASE

Montreal, QC – February 15, 2017

For Fans of Chris Cornell, Audioslave, Jack White, Pearl Jam

Hamilton Rockers RADIO FREE UNIVERSE Offer Free Download ‘Disclosure’ via PureGrainAudio

Debut Album ‘Casa Del Diablo’ Out March 17th via Jet Pack Records

Show Dates:
March 8 – Toronto, ON – Horseshoe Tavern (CD Release)

We live in a world where everything, including music, is itemized and made into a genre (indeed the sub-genres grow daily!). Yet rock is all about rebellion plus rejecting norms and Hamilton, ON’s marvelous award nominated RADIO FREE UNIVERSE are very much their own creation. In vocalist George Panagopoulos’ words, they are “genuine, honest, heavy, sonic…liberating.”

Panagopoulos explains liberty is a big part of the inspiration behind RADIO FREE UNIVERSE’s unique name.

“It is inspired by Radio Free Europe, which began as part of the resistance against tyranny in World War 2. Now its journalists report the news in 23 countries where a free press is banned by the government or not fully established. We apply this to our music. Trying to break free of the chains of genres and just focusing on the song and serving it.”

RADIO FREE UNIVERSE’s debut album ‘Casa Del Diablo’ is set for release on March 17th, 2017 via Jet Pack Records and features twelve infectious rocking tunes. The album was mixed and mastered by Glen Robinson (Voivod, Gwar) along with him producing tracks American Gun, Disclosure, 18 Wheels and Six with the rest of the release produced by RFU vocalist George Panagopoulos and Mark McMaster.

Their new single ‘Disclosure’ is hitting radio across Canada and is now available exclusively for FREE download via PureGrainAudio.com.

Download it at the following link: http://puregrainaudio.com/audio/radio-free-universe-disclosure-free-song-download

Vocalist George Panagopoulos comments on the track:

“This is a strange song. It’s about aliens running the planet. Aliens from another dimension. It talks about 9/11 and reptilians that ‘take you away and teach you how to love, take you away until you’re one of us.’ The song was instant. When the riff was written the words happened immediately and have never been questioned for any reason. Sometimes songs are in the either and they are an accumulation of strange thoughts and strange places. I think the song is reaching to understand why the world is in the state it’s in. In the end, it’s a battle of the beast inside us and our connection to something we may never understand.”

Breaking down the album, vocalist George Panagopoulos also explains:

“I spent a good deal of time living in the US.  It’s a vibrant real culture from coast to coast. I don’t believe in the devil, but I do believe that people trap themselves in things.  The enticement of pleasure and wants that the country truly offers a great deal of opportunity, but it’s also lined with a thirst that is unquenchable. Money can be good, but in the United States it fuels every fire. The country has literally become an evolved beast that feeds of people’s desire and fear.  Everything you can think of corruption wise is alive and thriving there. As well as every great innovation and creative spirit. This album is about those things combined with my experience there. At the same time it’s a celebration of sorts.  No song judges any one at anytime. Nothing says this is bad or that is good. It’s just an observation. Example ‘American Gun’ is one of those tracks that work for people who don’t like them and people that do. All the songs are observational not so much political. The most amazing thing about that country is with all that going on you find people who are happy and full of love. That’s amazing if you think about it.”

Prior to preparing for their debut release, RADIO FREE UNIVERSE has made quite a name for themselves on the live scene in Southern Ontario and greater Toronto area since their formation in 2010. In their hometown of Hamilton, ON, they’ve performed at the Hamilton Music Awards plus have been nominated twice for Recording of The Year. Other appearances by RFU include Canadian Music Week, Lock Street Festival, NXNE, KOI Fest and Big Music Fest ft. Aerosmith, Bryan Adams and Slash.

“This is authentic and real rock music. Vocals that speak to listener, amazing lyrics that leave a deep and lasting impression. All surrounded by credible hooks that layer the music in bliss. Radio Free Universe live is proof that it can be done. They are a thrill to watch live, and a very dangerous act to follow, a must see for any music lover. This is band is the very thing that makes us all want to be rockstars. I urge you to find them.” –  LA Weekly

“Radio Free Universe are bluesy, heavy on the guitar riffs, and packed with forceful, driving drum beats. Sure, this is the setup for many hard rock rock albums, but Radio Free Universe are different. The thing that separates these Canadian rockers from the rest of the stale pack is the sort of retro nostalgic feel they are able to hone in on. It’s just awesome and affords their music a special classic rock sound with a modern twist.” – PureGrainAudio

“Call it a resignation to the powers of the cosmos or a rock and roll revelation but when Radio Free Universe plays, it’s best to just to be a part of the moment and let destiny have its way”. – View Magazine

“I was impressed with every musical nuance this band presented. Great guitar riffs, driving rhythms produced by the bass & drums , giving the illusion of a rolling freight train. All this is highlighted by a seasoned front man reminiscent of rock bands like Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple & Black Sabbath. Some of the tracks I heard inspire the audience to sing along while others relate specific stories.” – The Hamiltonian

“Radio Free Universe struck gold at the Horseshoe Tavern Monday night, putting on a fierce and bold rock n’ roll showcase performance. Stopping you in your tracks with a wickedly large vocal by front man, George Panagopoulos; his voice is layered and carried by pure rock n’ roll sounds.” – Deli Mag (Toronto)

“Talk about a last-minute addition to our list! We just discovered this band in mid December as they were opening up for White Cowbell Oklahoma at Lee’s Palace and they became an instant favourite of all our editors. Zeppelin infused riffs and rhythm this is one band we want to see a lot more of in 2016. Singer George Panagopoulos looks and sounds like Sammy Hagar and we can’t think of a better compliment to bestow on a rock band front man.” – Tmakworld

For fans of Dream Theater, Tool, Yngwie Malmsteen, Animals As Leaders,Van Halen, RacerX

Prog-Sphere Premiere New Video ‘Seven Sisters’ By Prog Virtuosos OMNISIGHT

Out Now! New EP ‘Power of One’

Bringing progressive metal into new dimensions especially for those who really enjoy full explosive adventure, Vancouver virtuosos OmnisighT recently gave the world their latest effort ‘Power of One’. The EP showcases their highly regarded musicianship and finely wrought song-craft.  As a whole ‘Power of One’ is a musical journey with a story concept to question the status quo and stand up against the oppression plus deceptions of the ruling class.

Teaming up with Prog-Sphere.com, OmnisighT are excited to share with fans their latest video ‘Seven Sisters’ in support of the EP.

Vocalist / guitarist Raj Krishna explains:

“I wrote the seven sisters riff just goofing around at home. I really didn’t even like it that much! I still wanted to try it out live in the room though, and Chris our drummer put this super funky groove on it and I got a vocal off it right away. It’s loosely based on the seven sisters oil cartel BP, Shell, Exxon, Texaco Standard Oil and the like. Basically it’s about befriending people just to get at their resources. It’s also in a 7/8 time signature through a lot of the song, so that’s me just trying to be clever!”

Watch ‘Seven Sisters‘ at the following link: http://www.prog-sphere.com/specials/omnisight-seven-sisters-video-premiere/

‘Power of One’ is now streaming along with CD and digital download at https://omnisight.bandcamp.com/album/the-power-of-one

Also available on iTunes, Spotify, and all other major online retailers.

Drummer Chris Warunki comments on the release:

“The Power Of One is the sound of a band firing on all cylinders. Guitarists, bassists, drummers and vocalists will all have something in-store for them here with this EP. We are excited to get this out to the prog/rock/metal masses both musically and lyrically. Speaking of lyrically, the album will come with a PDF booklet exclusive to our Bandcamp supporters. We took a “more is more” approach with this one and it will be a real challenge, but a welcome challenge; to take it to the stage. We want to keep the musicianship in the music, that has been our agenda since day one!”

If you’re in the Vancouver, BC area, you can catch the guys performing their local CD release show on March 11th at the Astoria with support from My Mother The Carjacker and Did You Die. Full event details can be found here.

About:
Known for their formidable musicianship, virtuosic guitar solos and powerful songs, OmnisighT is masterfully blurring the lines between melodic hard rock and progressive metal. Beginning as collaboration between vocalist/guitarist Raj Krishna and drummer Chris Warunki, they created the impressive ‘Path’ debut album in 2012. Their live line-up was consolidated with the addition of Dave Shannon on bass and guitarist Blake Rurik. ‘Path’ was followed up by the 2013 ‘Wave Particle’ EP.

Like all truly visionary musicians, band co-founder Raj was driven to create unique music. “I’ve been writing and singing songs since I was a little kid. We never seemed to hear heavy prog music that had shredding and hooks at the same time. It always seems you get one or the other….Having technical musicianship with good song-writing, shredding licks, and big hooks was the whole idea.”

Raj sums up OmnisighT’s music thusly: ‘Proggy, hooky, shredding, sad, and powerful!’

While Raj is justifiably proud of OmnisighT’s recorded output, he sees the importance of performance. ‘Live is where the band really shines! We put on a show, running around smiling and shredding. The band plays with more intensity…we often give the headliners a run for their money.’

“The depth of talent in Canada often surprises us. Here is another superb band to add to the list. It remains to be seen how far “The Power Of One” takes OmnisighT. But one thing is for sure, it is an EP of which they can be incredibly proud.” – Maximum Volume Music

“If you’re going to attempt this sort of thing, you’d better have chops. Fortunately, (OmnisighT) have ’em, and how.” – Georgia Straight

“Their stage presence and technique is out of this world…I can safely say that the only guitarists I’ve seen live that instilled the same sort of awe in me as Raj Krishna were Jeff Loomis and John Petrucci himself.” – Prog Sphere

“great songwriting, fantastic lead guitar work…immediately on the first track, the intro “String Theory,” we are greeted by some immense guitar skills. Seriously, these guys are fucking fantastic.” – The Monolith

“deliciously retro, Zappa-meets-Malmsteen solos with at least one toe in the land of jazzy improv… guitar fiends should rush to check them out.” – Georgia Straight

“I have never been more impressed with a band that I had zero knowledge about. These guys play like they’ve been playing together since birth and clearly love what they do at a cellular level.” – Metal Titans

Idobi Radio Video Premiere: LUCID AFTERLIFE ‘Time Killaz ft. Merkules’

Reveal EP ‘Occult Mafia Mistress’ Artwork & Track Listing

Vancouver progressive groove rockers LUCID AFTERLIFE are challenging musical composition with each song that they have been writing since 2012. Their name is more of a destination than a title for vocalist Nat Jack who hopes to inspire fans to be as unbridled as their music. The collective vision for the band is driven by Nat at the forefront, guitarist Thom Turner (Freya), Miles Morrsion on Bass, and Matthew Shearlaw on drums.

The band’s diversity allows them to explore all creative avenues and continue to be a flexible group that could be hailed for their hip-hop sensibilities and rock dynamics in one review. Instrumentally they draw on their myriad of influences including David Bowie, Monster Magnet, Wu-Tang Clan, Led Zeppelin, and finally A Perfect Circle.

Their next EP ‘Occult Mafia Mistress’ (release date to be determined) is a collection of songs that lyrically conjure out a certain aspect of Jack’s psyche, a part he is learning to respect and accept. It represents the part of humanity that remains hidden and needs to be drawn out from an internal dialogue that fans can have with each song. The writing process begins to take shape in the lyrics, which touch on indulgence and encouraging everyone to enjoy all pleasurable aspects of life.

Teaming up with Idobi Radio, LUCID AFTERLIFE is giving fans a taste of what’s to come from the EP with their new music video ‘Time Killaz’ featuring a collaboration with Vancouver rapper Merkules.

“Every project Lucid AfterLife brings into existence is different than the last, so when the opportunity to work with one of Canada’s most influential emcees, Merkules Stevenson came to us we decided to create something right out of the box. Time Killaz is an audio and visual journey through the phenomena of time, life & death and also mans quest to take his consciousness beyond space and time all together. On yet another level it is about people wasting your time and the desire to free yourself of those vibes. I produce all of our music videos and this was my first time working with the talented team from Lovero Films, they really stepped things up and helped me bring to life a visual story that is time bending in itself, we had a lot of fun. Hope you enjoy.” comments vocalist / guitarist Nat Jack.

“This was our first foray into recording in a studio environment plus working with a producer and mixer. Having a team of people around us helped us produce better songs at a higher quality to give our fans the chance to hear what we’re truly about without the barrier of poor recordings. It’s our jump from the basement to the studio, the raw energy is still there, but there’s an added level of detail to each track. We wanted to make a significant jump forward in quality and songwriting plus for fans who have been following us, we think they’ll be pleasantly surprised.” comments vocalist/guitarist Jack Cerre.

BLACK ABSINTHE’s powerful heavy riffs and bass lines are reminiscent of classic thrash and new wave British heavy metal with a range of progressive to classic rock influence ready to be shared with fans new and old alike.

The title “Early Signs of Denial” is a conceptual connection to the themes of fear, corruption, and overcoming disparity, which is explored in the album’s songs. The record has emphasis of crushing modern tone, polished instrumental sections, soaring vocals and a blending of contemporary and classic metal. With each track, this unique record represents different aspects of BLACK ABSINTHE’s diversity in song writing. The band does not tread lightly over their new wave of British heavy metal song style or their technical and progressive metal influences.

About:

Formed in 2011 by vocalist and guitarist Jack Cerre, bassist Kyle Scarlett and drummer Austin Henderson, the trio continue to rip through the underground Toronto metal scene without pause.

Compounding heavy riffs and bass lines reminiscent of classic thrash and new wave British heavy metal with a range of progressive to classic rock influence, Black Absinthe presents a solid example of a Canadian metal band. They’re road hungry, influenced plus supported by other driven Canadian musicians and most of all, ready to innovate and grow the traditions of a genre they venerate and respect. As leaders in the scene, Black Absinthe were headlining Toronto semi-finalists in the Wacken Metal Battle Canada 2015.

With a new year ahead, Black Absinthe pushes on with their desire to provide their fans in Canada and online with a cleaner and heavier presentation of their sound. The years incubating in Toronto’s metal underground have served the band well. From their 2012 debut EP Augusta to their 2014 EP Noise Complaint, both releases have established the band’s sound as well as their stage presence, leading to their driven heavy metal machine. Now in 2016, Black Absinthe are ready to release their debut studio album Early Signs Of Denial (May 13, 2016). The album was produced by Dave Baksh (Cross Dog, The Mahones) out of the Gentleman’s Den studio in Pickering, ON who’s experience proved to be the final touch; aiding in refining drum dynamics, smoothing the transitions and layering harmonic guitar lines. Black Absinthe’s Early Signs Of Denial sound is a leading example of the contemporary Canadian metal scene serving to showcase how the band sounds in a crisp, powerful, and ultimately more professional recording environment.

The title “Early Signs of Denial” is a conceptual connection to the themes of fear, corruption, and overcoming disparity, which is explored in the songs.

Through the bands expanding network cultivated through Coalition Music’s “Artist Entrepreneur Program”, they chose Frank Gryner (Rob Zombie- Hillbilly Deluxe) to mix and master the album in the Winter of 2015. His strong ability to work with a diversity of sounds was the appeal to the band. His mixing took the album into the sonic spheres of a classic 80’s sound providing, grandeur, psychedelia, and an arena rock feel that could properly represent the textures put down in tracking. There was an immediate trust formed with the stylistic choices Gryner made throughout mixing.

The three song EP with two live bonus tracks was produced and written with Dan Weller of SIKTH with the first single / video ‘The Invincible’released last October. ‘Invincible’ tells the story of organ donation compassionately from both sides of the giver and receiver, which is a cause the band fully supports after a fan’s mother in UK had a successful heart transplant after be on the waiting list for a long amount time plus the Welsh government in Wales deciding to pass regulation for the opt out decision got the guys highlighting to the rest of world the importance to sign up for organ donation.

“Every organ donor can save 8 lives, that is 8 families who are given hope, 8 families who don’t have to grieve, 8 families whose lives are changed.” says Sarah Todd Callender-Ferrier, the UK fan fan whom inspired THE UNDIVIDED.

The band comments on their appearance at CMW:

“We have been counting down the days to getting back to CMW since the moment the wheels went back up on the plane to return home last year. It’s just such an amazing atmosphere and a great opportunity for a new band. We’ve been busy writing and recording our new EP ‘Satellites’ to release especially for our trip out to CMW. Canadians will be the first people to hear it live and get a copy! This EP is a journey with its lighter moments and its darker ones. It’s a more mature sound with each new bit of music. Also we wanted to challenge ourselves by doing something different and not re do the same stuff just because it works. We only wanted to put out new tracks we really believe in. No space for filler. As long as we have the need to make music there will be more.”

About:

Driven by a desire to create the kind of noise people simply have to stand up and hear the most exciting- not to mention anthemic- rock act to emerge from South Wales in decades has arrived and not a moment too soon.

Inspired by the political, message-heavy words of fellow countrymen Manic Street Preachers, the instrumentation of Idlewild, and the penchant for melodic pop sensibilities evident in the likes of Mansun and Peace, The Undivided make music that’s impossible to ignore. Soaring guitar chords launch from atop punishing riffs, shuddering bass lines carry the rhythms forward, and sledgehammer drumbeats underpin this combination of harmony and electricity.

Hailing from the South Wales Valley
