What originally formed as a band to support guitarist and vocalist Matt Stanley’s solo EP “The Life & Times” in 2008, has developed into a three piece of good old rock n roll fun known as THE DECOYS. Comprised of Matt Stanley on guitar/vocals, Sean Poissant on drums and Sean Schneider on bass, the Kamloops, BC based band deliver raw and honest tunes influenced by the spirit of artists like Neil Young, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers and Led Zeppelin.

Their new album ‘In Our Blood’ is now available via iTunes as of April 15, 2016 and has been gaining buzz for its infectious singles ‘Don’t Hesitate’ and title track, which can be heard at the following links below. ‘In Our Blood’ is the follow up their 2011 debut album “Stripped, Bare, And On Display” co-produced by Henry Small (Prism, Scrubbaloe Caine, John Entwisle Band), which garnered much support from Western Canadian radio for their singles “I Know” and “Modern Disaster” leading them to be one of Western Canada’s most active independent touring acts.

Calgary hardcore noisemakers FALL CITY FALL are hitting the road with Edmonton’s Slum Lord for the No Parents, No Rules Tour that will see them embark across Canada from British Columbia to Quebec this coming June and July in support of their latest album 2013’s ‘Victus’ released on Victory Records plus promoting new material from their follow up set to be released later this year. The band also plans to give fans exclusive free download cards during the tour at the door of each concert for a new single that will be heard only live and later released online.

Providing the remedy for today’s monotonous hardcore scene, FALL CITY FALL will not be ignored. The ultra-dynamic five piece band’s unforgiving, commanding sound is unleashed unto the world. With conviction in their hearts and balled up fists, they’ve dedicated their purpose to changing the music scene forever.

Like most bands, FALL CITY FALL began humbly in 2008 as a small project between three best friends in their hometown of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. With duel-vocalists, Nathan Zorn and Keenan Pylychaty leading the pack, guitarist Jordon Storey, drummer Nathan Pope and bassist Andre Urquidi, have mastered their crafts, complimenting the vocals with technical riffs and hard-hitting melodies. Picking up steam, they began to collect a very loyal fan base as they continued to play local shows for friends and family. Hungry for more, they delivered the Dead Saints EP, solidifying their spot as one of the most prolific hardcore bands to hail from Calgary. Drawing in hundreds on their own, they have performed alongside bands such as THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA, SILVERSTEIN, ARCHITECTS and label-mates COUNTERPARTS, showcasing their unrivaled energy to thousands across North America.

Preparing for world domination, FALL CITY FALL released their first full length release from Victory Records. Ninjaspy arose with the dawn of the year of six, embodied by the Triad in Blood: Vocalist/Guitarist Joel Parent, Drummer Adam Parent and Bassist Tim Parent. Rising above the mire of their faceless six year muse, they have focused their sights on the mission objectives now at hand: Swift, surgical amalgamation of a spectrum of styles and the subsequent eradication of narrow mindedness. Montreal, QC’s The Rising Few are proud to announce the official release of their debut album ‘Sinners On St. Laurent’, out this week on Tuesday, March 25th (iTunes). The album is a tribute to the city that has given so much to vocalist Karim Terouz, a professional illustrator whom left his hometown of Cairo, Egypt to embrace the blistering Canadian winters and the lively music scene that Montreal is internationally known for.

”Finally a songbook to reflect that scene we got here in Montreal, an album that honestly and sincerely depicts the sultry colours of Monty by night…and the morning after! To be able to catalogue my time and experience coming here, to engage the youth with an emancipation in songwriting is more than the life I wanted for myself, I am finally comfortable and it all starts with this album.” says Terouz.

Accompanying Terouz in his true passion of music are Hubert Tremblay (Guitars) and Andrew Sudlow (Bass) whom he met when he first started visiting every open mic night imaginable in the city. He was then later joined by Isaac Gesse (Trumpet) and Harvey Bienaime (Drums) to complete The Rising Few and create a fusion of folk, blues, rock and pop that the band showcases with its influences from Cat Stevens, The Tragically Hip and Bruce Springsteen, as well as Terouz’s Egyptian heritage with the band’s R&B / soul inspirations.

Performing over 30 live shows since first beginning on the scene and a first place win at the LME showcase competition (http://www.landmarkevents.net) in which the band beat out 200+ others for top honours. The Rising Few is excited to indulge music fans in some “punchy Montreal soul” with this debut produced by the great Glen Robinson known for his mixing and mastering credits on projects with Dave Grohl’s Probot, The Ramones, David Bowie, AC/DC, Keith Richards, The Tea Party, Grim Skunk, Ringo Starr, The Beach Boys and many more over the course of his career.
