NEWS RELEASE

Montreal, QC – August 9, 2019

BI·AS Feat. Former KORN Drummer DAVID SILVERIA Drop New Music Video ‘Hesitation’ via MetalInsider

Orange County alt-metal outfit BI·AS, featuring David Silveria (original drummer of Korn) shares their latest music video for their next single ‘Hesitation’. The single is a preview to their much-anticipated debut EP due out in 2020. ‘Hesitation’ gives an early taste of what the record will bring to the table. This is the first song that singer Rich Nguyen wrote with the band during their worldwide singer auditions. The song is about anxiety and how it can cause a lot of missed opportunities; if you let it. The song talks about overcoming the barriers created by anxiety in your mind and pressing on no matter what. ‘Hesitation’ is an anthem of overcoming anxiety and is meant to be a musical affirmation.

Rich Nguyen describes ‘Hesitation’:

“This song in terms of sound is the exact middle ground between “Pity” and “Change Your Mind”.  It has tons of melody and a smidge of aggression musically and vocally.  Fans of the other two singles won’t be disappointed.”

Teaming up with MetalInsider.net, the video premiere for ‘Hesitation’ can be viewed at the following link here.

BI·AS made a big splash with their first single, ‘Pity’, which came out in January. The track rapidly reached #23 on the Billboard (BDS) Indicator Chart and #9 on the Foundations (SMR) Chart. They have already reached 85,000 streams on Spotify and another 33,000 on Youtube. Meanwhile, ‘Hesitation’ stands on its own as a hard rock song with touches of metal influence and a driving chorus to bring it all home. The video was directed by Matt Zane of Lord Zane Productions. BI·AS will also be hitting the stage on August 9th at the legendary Whisky A Go-Go as direct support for industrial rock legends ORGY. Event details can be found here along with more dates listed below.

Looking to the future, BI·AS have finished writing their debut EP and follow up effort. They are looking to get into the studio with producer Chris Collier (KXM, Prong, Korn) in Q4 of 2019 to get all tracked. BI·AS have cultivated a growing fanbase enamored with their modern twist to the late nineties Nu-Metal sound. Suffice it to say – the upcoming record promises to be a showcase of the band’s unique sound and willingness to take sonic risks outside of today’s standards.

Be on the lookout for BI·AS in the future, not only is the band gearing up for the 2020 release of their new EP, but they are currently booking shows till the end of the year.

Show Dates:
Aug 9 – West Hollywood, CA – Whiskey A Go-Go – w/ Orgy
Aug 23 – Costa Mesa, CA – Tiki Bar
Sept 26 – Logan, UT – The Cache
Sept 27 – Pocatello, ID –  Bannock County Fair Grounds – Elk stage

BIO:

“Whether we know it or not, we all have our own version of BIAS…” BI·AS is an Alternative Hard Rock / Metal band based out of Huntington Beach, California. The band, featuring drummer David Silveria (Korn), bassist Chris Dorame (Gears, Needlemouth), guitarists Joe Taback (12 Gauge Embrace, Needlemouth) and Mike Martin formed after a worldwide vocalist search lead them to recruit Rich Nguyen (Dimtribe). The band’s diverse musicality is backed by Silveria’s signature groove and neatly wrapped together by captivating vocal melodies.

The debut singles (Pity & Change Your Mind; released January 4, 2019) were met with tremendous fanfare. “Pity”, the edgier track of the two, has helped grow the band’s following exponentially in the United States and abroad. “Change Your Mind”, showcases the band’s softer, melodic side. The two singles were released as a SIDE A / B; a throwback to the 80’s and 90’s single releases.
BI·AS is currently hard at work writing and recording material for their debut release, tentatively slated for the latter half of 2019.

“People aren’t going to expect how good this is… I think a lot of people I know are going to like this.” – Michael Del Pizzo (Sunflower Dead)

NEWS RELEASE

Montreal, QC – August 9, 2019

Finland’s Fantasy Metal EVERFROST Shares Anime Inspired Video ‘Winterider’

“Winterider” Out September 6th via Rockshots Records

Since the release of debut album ‘Blue Eyed Emotion’, Finland’s EVERFROST have been active on the stage and in the studio bringing listeners the follow-up their EP ‘Appetite For Candlelight’ and live DVD ‘A Cold Night Out’. The band is now aiming to raise the bar from what an album experience is traditionally expected to be, with their second full length “Winterider” to be released via Rockshots Records on September 6th, 2019.

Before the album is officially released, the band have put together a new anime-inspired lyric video for the album’s title track, which can be viewed here.

The band adds:

“Winterider launches the listener into the world of Everfrost once again for a new story. A brutal winter that came and never left is disrupting the peace in Everfrost, bringing panic and depressing times to the residents. The main characters fight against the cold and sorrow however in this defiant anthem, trying to enjoy their young adult life in a hidden city no one is allowed to leave from. The song features huge keyboard strings, catchy guitar riffs and an anime-esque chorus, not to forget guitar and keyboard solo dueling and powerful gang cries. The song is a ‘get up and go’ for anyone who needs it in hard times.”

The lyric video follows their music video for their first single ‘Cold Night Remedy’, which can be viewed here.

EVERFROST‘s forthcoming album ‘Winterider’ features 10 songs of winter spiced melodic metal elevated to the extreme this time around! The tracklisting includes the band’s first ballad, their fastest song to date and the first EVERFROST epic, clocking in at over 10 minutes.

The album is a unique undertaking for a metal/rock band, as it combines of a fully coherent manga comic and a conceptual album. The story features characters from their debut album ‘Blue Eyed Emotion’, and takes them on a desperate journey to survive a never-ending winter! This type of album has never been attempted before, and the band is pulling out all the stops to provide you with a truly unique experience in the world of comics and music!

Keyboardist Benji Connelly began the demo-process for ‘Winterider’ in the summer of 2017 following the single release ‘Cold Night Remedy’, which appears on the upcoming sophomore album. By March 2018, most of the songs and story manuscript had been finished, as was mentioned in an interview with Musicalypse after their taped show at The Circus, Helsinki. As of September last year, EVERFROST hit the studio and documented the entire ‘making of’ process for “Winterider”, beginning with promo photoshoots lead by Tuonela Magazine’s Laureline Tilkin. Making of “Winterider” album video here.

“Winterider” will be available in a Digipak Deluxe CD Edition with a 24-page booklet and includes a Manga Comic!
You can PRE ORDER it now at the Rockshots Records Official Store here.

NEWS RELEASE

Montreal, QC – Aug 8, 2019

For fans of The Bronx, Queens of the Stone Age, High On Fire, Eye Hate God, Fu Manchu

GhostCultMag Premiere WAINGRO’s Next Single ‘Merrin’ Off Upcoming Album ‘III’

Out August 15, 2019  Sludgelord Records (UK vinyl, worldwide digital) / September 13, 2019 No List Records (Canada vinyl)

WAINGRO is not just a crazy, terrible human for hire trying to make his life in L.A. as portrayed in the 1995 film Heat. It’s also the name of a crazy rock n’ roll band who are making their way through the Canadian music scene and beyond with the release of their upcoming third album “III” set to be released in the UK on vinyl and digitally worldwide via Sludgelord Records on August 15th along with its Canadian vinyl release on September 13th via No List Records.

Using the character from Mann’s movie as a jumping-off point, the Vancouver band imagines further scenarios of pre-Heat WAINGRO situations. Releasing their first single‘Red Death’ this past June, and their second ‘Bay Area Cult’ in July, the trio is sharing their next track ‘Merrin‘ in preview to the upcoming album “III”.

The band adds:

“A song that talks of a person who believes they’ve been conceived from blasphemy. A feel good tune to get you through your day.”

Teaming up with GhostCultMag.com, WAINGRO are premiering the single’s stream at the following link: http://www.ghostcultmag.com/exclusive-stream-waingro-merrin-sludgelord-records/

“III”, as suggested, is the third album from WAINGRO and has shown considerable growth from their previous releases “Mt. Hood” (2015) and Self-Titled (2014).

The band explains:

“The first album was kind of chaotic, the second one explored the stoner/doom side of things a bit more, and this new and third one is a mix of the two, but with a more grunge/noise element to it.”

Bio:

Fueled by a passion for stoner rock and punk; Brian Sepanzyk (guitars/vocals), Benjie Nesdoly (drums) and Nate Pennell (bass/backing vocals) took the heaviness of hardcore, the groove from stoner rock and then added subtle desert rock highlights to work on what would come to be known as Waingro.

The experienced musicians have honed their craft in several other bands over the years, but it wasn’t until they formed Waingro that Sepanzyk (guitar/vocals), Nesdoly (drums), and Nate Pennell (bass/backing vocals) were truly able to explore their talents in the abrasive desert rock band. While their earlier material can be considered stoner hardcore with releases Self Titled (2014) and Mt. Hood (2015); Waingro adds a grunge edge with their upcoming album “III due out August 15, 2019, its UK vinyl and worldwide digital release via Sludgelord Records and is Canadian vinyl release on September 13, 2019, via No List Records.

Not ones to be conventional, Waingro gives a glimpse into their writing process: “It usually starts with Sepanzyk coming up with some riffs, then going out to a cabin and locking ourselves away for 2-3 days while we BBQ and play Bocce.”

Bringing a ton of energy, while still remaining super tight, Waingro’s main lyrical concepts explore the character of the same name from the film Heat. Writing about situations from the character’s potential point of view complemented with visual landscapes for his possibilities, Waingro have played several festivals across Canada and with their latest album around the corner, will be looking to further their reach in the future.

“Waingro have crafted an impressive debut that should soon see them mentioned alongside fellow Vancouverites Baptists and Bison B.C. as a reliable source of West Coast heaviness.” – Exclaim

“Think Queens of the Stone Age but with Nick Oliveri fully supplanting Josh Homme on the mic.” – BeatRoute

“There is no escaping from the fact that Waingro have something special about them. As they have the sound and vision to turn some heads within the Hard Rock/Stoner Rock scene.” – Sludgelord

“Waingro came out swinging, with a masterful energy and stage presence that immediately turned heads across the board.” – BeatRoute

“Melodically dissonant in the best way possible, these guys play rock ‘n roll the way it should be, drawing on influences from all over the place to concoct something that they’ve made entirely their own.” – CVLT Nation

NEWS RELEASE

Montreal, QC – August 6, 2019

For fans of Kamelot, Kataonia, Type O Negative, Dimmu Borgir, Paradise Lost

Canadian Horror Metal MALACODA Posts New Video ‘Wrapped In Laments’

New Album “Restless Dreams” Out Now! via Rockshots Records

L-R: Tiny Basstank – Bass, Lucas Di Mascio – Vocals, Vlad Prokhorov – Drums, Mick D Kiss – Guitar

Releasing their album ‘Restless Dreams’ during October of last year via Rockshots Records, Canada’s horror influenced symphonic power metallers MALACODA are sharing with fans their new lyric video for their track ‘Wrapped In Laments’.

Vocalist Lucas Di Mascio explains the track:

“Full of melancholic lead melodies over a frantic, almost djent sounding guitar riff, topped off with a dissonant drawn-out scream, the song sounds eerie, angry and sad all at once. It was inspired by the “Lying Figure” monsters from the Silent Hill 2 video game. They are female creatures that are trapped in a straight jacket of their own skin. They have holes in their chest where their hearts should be and they spew acid if the main character gets too close. They are beautifully haunting and evoke pity and disgust. They represent how the main character’s wife felt while dying of melanoma, she felt she was a monster- too hideous to love and trapped in her own skin. I always took the acid-spewing from the chest as symbolic to how she was very verbally abusive to the main character in her final days and said things that while hurtful, came from the heart. The chorus brings up the words “lie about” as a common phrase, and it’s both referencing how the main character would lie to her about his infidelity, but also how she felt all she could do was physically lie in a bed and waste away.”

Watch ‘Wrapping In Laments’ here.

Inspired by the horror video game “Silent Hill 2”, “Restless Dreams” is a musical journey through dark tormented themes of doubt, loss, guilt, and terror. The plot of the album follows a broken man’s journey through the ghost town of Silent Hill after receiving a letter from his dead wife asking him to meet her there. MALACODA brings a fresh interpretation of these themes and artfully bring to life the oppressive, claustrophobic aura of the fog consumed town with deviously clever song-writing and mind-catching lyrics. “Restless Dreams” is a musical release unlike any other. Fans and new listeners alike, prepare for an atmospheric and melodic metal descent into a world of horror and despair. ‘Restless Dreams’ was masterfully mixed by Jon Howard (Threat Signal, Imonolith).

About:

Mad With Power – the Midwest’s only arcade and heavy metal festival – was a fest built out of spite. Angered by other fests making and breaking promises to him over and over again, fest founder Ty Christian did the only rational thing: make his own fest – and make it better – by filling venues to the brim with free-play arcade and pinball games!

Now in its third year, Mad With Power fest continues to highlight up-and-coming bands in the power metal, thrash metal, and traditional heavy metal sub-genres and attracts more and more concertgoers with new exclusives every year. In just a few years, the fest has created an official drink (Bos Meadery’s “Mad With Power” mead, available on-tap), shocked fans with power metal opera battles, and crafted unique experiences like a playable “heavy metal-themed video game museum” with the help of local sponsors.

The fest has grown year-by-year, and continues to attract attendees from not only the midwest, but across North America and Canada as well!

Bio about founders:

Ty Christian is the vocalist for the band Lords of the Trident and the founder of Mad With Power fest. Ty has been playing in, touring with, booking, and managing bands since 1999, and was a roadie and mixing engineer for bands such as Steppenwolf, Bachman Turner Overdrive, Molly Hatchet, and the Glenn Miller Orchestra. Ty is also the creative director of the Madison Area Music Association – a charity organization that raises funds to put instruments and music education into local schools – and prides himself on being a leader of the DIY musician movement.

California’s HELION PRIME will be venturing across the American Midwest from August 5th – 16th for “The Cybernetic Terror Tour” in support of their sci-fi power metal thriller “Terror Of The Cybernetic Space Monster” released last year via AFM Records.

Kicking off the tour in their hometown of Sacramento, CA, HELION PRIME will be joined by fellow power metallers NOVAREIGN on all show dates including the 3rd annual Mad With Power Fest being hosted in Madison, WI on August 10th with Theocracy, Lords of The Trident, Judicator, and more.

The band comments:

“Helion Prime is thrilled to announce our “The Cybernetic Terror Tour” with special guest Novareign. We have been itchy to get back on the road and we felt a great time would be as we made our way to the Mad With Power Festival in Madison, WI. We are stoked to have our friends Novareign with us and it’s no doubt going to be a great time. This tour is short, but we made the decision not to be on the road too much this year so we could put more focus into writing the third album. So we promise to come back around next year with a new album and many more dates!”

Helion Prime will once again be joined by Mary Zimmer (Luna Mortis/VoiceHacks). We know many have hoped to catch a show with Sozos, but those who saw us on the Unleash The Archers tour can confirm Mary does a wonderful job handling these songs.”

“Terror Of The Cybernetic Space Monster” is Helion Prime’s second album and revolves around sci-fi themes with sweeping solos and powerful vocals. The album was also mixed and mastered at LSD studio by Lasse Lammert (known for his work with bands like Alestorm and Gloryhammer). The American band is sure to impress fans of Unleash the Archers, Iron Maiden and Helloween.

“Terror Of The Cybernetic Space Monster” is available on iTunes, Spotify, AFM Records, and all other major retailers.

Bio:

Helion Prime was born from the mind of Jason Ashcraft, who approached vocalist Heather Michele (appears only on the first album) and asked if she would be interested in doing a project with him. The two had been longtime friends, and at the time intended to do nothing more than release a few songs together for fun, as both had musical commitments elsewhere. Soon, however, the two realized they had something good and quickly decided to put out a full album. That album would become the now “Self Titled” release. The two first released the album independently and quickly re-released it through Divebomb records. The band quickly gained the attention of the German label AFM Records who approached them to ink a deal.

Shortly before being approached by AFM Records, Heather Michele left the band in order to focus on her commitments to her other band. So the band found themselves in a bind, being offered a record deal but having no singer. Thankfully, AFM Records believed in them enough to sign them regardless. The band released a single “Remnants of Stars” and did a short DIY tour they called “Saibot’s Rampage Tour” with short term singer Kayla Dixon.

In 2017, the band held open auditions for a new singer – enter Sozos Michael. Many fans were thrown off by the band’s choice bringing on a male vocalist for the up until now female fronted group. At the end of the day, it’s really about who’s right for the part and there is no doubt Sozos can deliver what Helion Prime needs. With the band feeling refreshed, and once again having a strong line up, Helion Prime quickly got to work with their sophomore effort, which was released via AFM Records on August 31, 2018.

The band is excited about the future and is already brainstorming the creative process for the third follow up. There is no slowing down for Helion Prime!

NEWS RELEASE

Montreal, QC – August 1, 2019

For fans of Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Queensryche, Fates Warning, Riot, Helloween

MetalInsider Premiere Heavy Metallers SILVER TALON’s Tension Filled ‘Cold Embrace’ Video Playthrough

With their name, SILVER TALON invokes an image of weaponized spirits and fate and from the remnants of Portland’s Spellcaster, they rose to bring their take on dark and aggressive power metal to the nation and beyond. With fantasy, sci-fi, and horror being the main themes of the recent EP, SILVER TALON are premiering their dual vocal and guitar playthrough video for their track ‘Cold Embrace’ via MetalInsider.net here.

‘Cold Embrace’ comes from the 2018 EP “Becoming A Demon”, where SILVER TALON started to shed their NWOTHM sound and embrace something more progressive and heavy. Trying to bridge the old with the new, they etch their way into more modern territory. ‘Cold Embrace’ is filled with tension, borrowing from Bach’s Prelude in D, which is further intertwined with their own riffs and outfitted with original vocal melodies. The band emphasizes the slow development of the song:

“Wyatt’s vocal delivery on the chorus is some of his best work to date. If listeners can invest their time and attention into a song that doesn’t deliver a climax within the first 60 seconds, and sort of just experience the song, then I think we’ll have them hooked. It’s sort of like a John Carpenter slow burn kind of thing.”

This brand of progressive shredding power metal is suitable for all power metal fans especially those with an affinity for Savatage, Sanctuary, and Nevermore.

SILVER TALON‘s EP “Becoming A Demon” is available on Bandcamp, Spotify, Apple Music, and all other major online retailers.

Track Listing:
1. Breath of Kerosene (Intro) 01:35
2. Devil Machine 04:43
3. Silver Talon 04:51
4. Speed of the Night 05:21
5. Cold Embrace 05:47
6. Warriors’ End 03:29
7. Battle Angels (SANCTUARY – feat. Jeff Loomis) 04:11
8. Outro (Estudio) 01:11
Album Length: 31:11

BIO:

With a virtuosic guitar attack, a rumbling rhythm section, and powerful, soaring vocals, Portland, Oregon’s Silver Talon is razor sharp and ready to become a major force in heavy metal. In February of 2018, Silver Talon released their first demo track “Devil Machine.” The track offered a small sample of Silver Talon’s ability to masterfully blend hook, melody, and technical ability into fist clenching, head-bangable heavy metal. Their second demo release, “Warrior’s End,” showcases more of their dexterity in riffs, bent time signatures, and lush melodies.

Silver Talon features guitarists Bryce Vanhoosen and Sebastian Silva, Gabe Franco on bass, and Colin Vranizan on drums – all four hailing from Prosthetic Records and internationally touring act Spellcaster. Once said four horsemen of Spellcaster parted ways with their vocalist, they decided to change their moniker and cast a worldwide net for some new pipes. Lucky for them, the caught Wyatt Howell of Sanctifyre close by in Eugene, Oregon.

Guitarist Bryce Vanhoosen explains the path the band is looking to take after the crumbling of Spellcaster.

“We’re basically trying to take Spellcaster a bit more over the top. The songs are more complicated, more progressive, and more aggressive; there are more guitar solos and crazier vocal harmonies.”

Look for a self-released EP from the band, and a national tour in November. Silver Talon currently has a Pledge Music Campaign to fund their forthcoming EP.

Following up their well-received 2013 debut album ‘The Healing Powers of Hate’, Montreal’s BornBroken returned in 2018 with a 40-minute freight-train “The Years of Harsh Truths and Little Lies”. Full of aggressive music for the critical masses, the ten-track assault was heavier and angrier plus even included special guest vocals from Slaves On Dope’s Jason Rockman on ‘Fight’. Thriving on the fury of the injustices of the world we are living in, BORNBROKEN is ready to take their righteous rage that feeds their creative furnace on the road for summer 2019. The metal titans from Montreal’s music scene will be venturing towards Western Canada for the first time along with performing on the Loud As Hell festival in Drumheller, AB on August 3rd sharing the stage with Goatwhore, Anciients, Planet Eater and many more. The tour will kick off on July 31st in Sudbury, ON and wrap up August 12th in Winnipeg, MB. Selected dates of the tour will be supported by Calgary’s Stab. Twist. Pull.

Guitarist Mike Decker comments:

“We are glad to finally say we are headed out West on tour. It’s something we said we had to do at any cost and it will be. Our van lost its gas tank and then the transmission seized. I broke my elbow, shows were canceled, but some got added. Massive band line-up changes last minute, oh I did I forget to say “we’re poor”! Hahaha.

So with that said, we’re all set to tour with our friends in Calgary’s Stab, Twist, Pull along with many others and tell you all a little story about “The Harsh Truths and Little Lies of Life”. We got tons of merch for all to enjoy and become hand-me-downs for generations to come.

We’re not holding anything back on this one. See you all on the road while we follow the sundown to your town!”

BornBroken’s sophomore album “The Years of Hard Truths And Little Lies” is available on Bandcamp, Spotify and Apple Music.

(Bio written by Steve Earles)

“Although they hail from the famously pleasant country of Canada, BornBroken, might be the heaviest and angriest thing we’ve heard from their parts in a long time. With no shortage of punishing riffs, brutal drumming, and vicious vocals that spit lyrics to change the world, BornBroken’s sophomore album, The Years of Hard Truths And Little Lies, is worth pre-ordering before it’s due out May 18th.” – Metal Injection

“Apocalyptic thrashcore bunch BornBroken wear their political bent on their sleeves. From ‘The Years of Hard Truths And Little Lies’ Bansky-esque artwork to on-the-nose, ‘Take that politics!’ sentiment of its title, their anti-establishment sentiment is layered on thick. It’s hard to argue with their anger, in fairness. Tackling everything from inequality to government conspiracies, the Canadian band’s fury is aimed in all the right directions… BornBroken’s unrelenting pace is proof that, even in the supposedly docile nation of Canada, there’s still plenty to rally against in 2018.” – Metal Hammer

“the songs on The Years of Harsh Truths are brutal and varied enough to appeal to fans of Lamb of God, Sepultura and even groove legends Pantera and Exhorder.” – Decibel Magazine

“Working off catchy as fuck, breakdown inflected riffs BornBroken mercilessly pound the listener to pulp. There is absolutely no doubt people leave a BornBroken show with injuries.” – Hellbound

“Many of the hooks and riffs are excellent, they absolutely destroy my speakers, and the bedroom mosh commences.” – MetalStorm

“BornBroken have resurrected the intense metallic sounds of bands the likes of A Life Once Lost, Hatebreed, Nora, and Arise And Ruin that once dominated the North American metal scene. It’s wonderful to hear a band like BornBroken bringing back what some might consider the peak sound of modern metal.” – PureGrainAudio.com

The record combines the furious elements of death metal with the symphonic prowess of black metal, creating the perfect synthesis of both genres and ultimately

NECRONOMICON have a well-earned reputation for quality by releasing material only when ready and satisfied with the outcome ever since their demo entitled ‘Morbid Ritual’ (1992) firmly established their name within the underground. ‘The Silver Key’ EP (1996) led to mainstream recognition on a national level, but their debut album ‘Pharaoh Of Gods’ (1999) and the sophomore ‘The Sacred Medicines’ (2003) did, even more, to establish the band as a household name in Canada.

‘Return Of The Witch’ (2010) marked the international break-through for NECRONOMICON, and saw them performing at prestigious festivals such as Inferno (Norway), Ragnarok (Germany), and the Barge To Hell metal cruise among others, while sharing stages with acts such as CRADLE OF FILTH, DIMMU BORGIR, BEHEMOTH, and MORBID ANGEL, to name but a few. Their steady advance around the globe grew considerably in impact by their next full-length “Rise Of The Elder Ones” (2013). By the time the band released ‘Advent Of The Human God’ (2016), they were met with international critical acclaim. Now, with ‘UNUS’ the band show that they aren’t slowing down and are ready to deliver another vicious strike! Prepare for the darkness to envelop you…

“Best moments of BEHEMOTH and symphonic death à la GODFLESH APOCALYPSE while remaining entirely Necronomicon.” – Bravewords

“Advent of the Human God is a truly diverse album, perfectly balancing plenty of atmosphere with their iconic chugging riffs and pummelling blast beats.” – Exclaim!

“Advent of the Human God boasts both a Behemoth-like epic savage grace and Dimmu-esque orchestral pomp. But it also delivers a more primal ferocity and maintains the thematic air that has become Necronomicon’s forte” – Metal Rules

“”Their sound is akin to an Anti-Christ infant spawned from the blasphemous union of Dimmu Borgir and Behemoth.”” – Metal Underground

“The drums crash like Nordic avalanches on tracks like “Alchemy of the Avatar.” With its blazing jugular seeking guitar riffs and crazed piano breaks over top double kick drum insanity, this last song makes for a perfect ending to a blistering listen.” – Beatroute (AB)

“‘Necronomicon opened the show with a thoroughly impressive display of symphonic death metal… The best way to describe them would be a symphonic version of Winds of Creation-era Decapitated, with perhaps some Vital Remains mixed in. Lots of cool grooves and hair spinning moments!’” – Metal Injection (Live Review)
