China’s most unhinged fusion of anime culture and brutal death metal, Dehumanizing Itatrain Worship, returns with its most ambitious and chaotic work to date: “2D Complex,” releasing July 10, 2026 through Gore House Productions and Stillbirth Records. Before the album officially drops, fans worldwide will get an early chance to experience the full record through an exclusive premiere on NoCleanSinging, where the album will stream in its entirety.

Offering the first complete look at the band’s most diverse, explosive, and emotionally raw release yet, listen to the album’s full stream premiere on NoCleanSinging HERE.

Known internationally as “the best anime death metal from China,” Dehumanizing Itatrain Worship has carved out a cult following with its brain‑melting blend of kawaii melodies, nerve‑shredding blast beats, and hyper‑violent slam riffs. The band has toured extensively across China, Japan, and Europe, appearing at major festivals including Deathfeast Open Air, Metal Storm Over Luzern, Deathtober Fest, and Shockwave Fest, bringing their bizarre, high‑energy “moe brutality” to stages across the world.

With “2D Complex,” the band pushes its identity further than ever, merging J‑pop, blackgaze, Japanese folk, and otaku‑culture aesthetics into a violent, genre‑breaking death metal experience.

“I’m a bit nervous because it’s not a ‘traditional’ Slam album, but I’m mostly excited to see how people react to it. We want to give fans a sense of contrast; you never know what’s coming next,” says vocalist Kiryu Zhang.

“2D Complex” dives deep into the darker side of otaku culture, exploring themes of isolation, frustration, hikikomori life, and emotional collapse, all wrapped in the band’s signature “kawaii‑but‑brutal” sonic aesthetic.

“These otaku memes are just a shell. What’s actually inside is my pain, my hatred, and a genuine urge for self‑destruction,” adds Kiryu.

Musically, “2D Complex” breaks completely from slam conventions, smashing together pure neck‑snapping brutality with J‑pop hooks, blackgaze ambience, Japanese folk textures, and a roster of international extreme‑metal guest vocalists. The album swings from the hikikomori anthem “Song of the Neet,” featuring Yanchi (5 PM Promise) and Matt Yakesh (No Face No Case), to “Brutal Panzer,” a Girls und Panzer–inspired pit‑weapon that fuses kawaii charm with tank‑level devastation. It erupts with “Lucky☆Slam,” a chaotic opener that whiplashes between black‑metal riffing and colossal breakdowns, and “Slamonogatari,” a Monogatari‑themed track capped by Andrew Lee’s soaring melodic solo. “苦痛昇天 (Ascension in Agony)” channels anime‑opening brightness through clean vocals by Yui (Earthists.), while concealing themes of addiction and self‑destruction. “Yomi,” featuring Alan Grnja (Distant), blends Japanese folk elements with crushing deathcore intensity, and the finale “約束 (Promise)” closes the record with a storm of slam riffs, blackgaze atmosphere, and emotional screamo‑driven catharsis.

2026 marks the 10th anniversary of Dehumanizing Itatrain Worship’s first EP, an improbable milestone for a project that began as a meme‑driven bedroom experiment. Today, the band has shared stages with Suicide Silence, Stillbirth, Born of Osiris, Origin, Belphegor, Vulvectomy, Guttural Slug, Disentomb, and more.

Their visual identity remains entirely self‑designed by Kiryu, ensuring that the band’s artwork, logos, and merch remain perfectly aligned with their chaotic aesthetic.

Dehumanizing Itatrain Worship is China’s leading anime‑infused brutal death metal act, known for blending kawaii aesthetics with extreme violence, slam brutality, and otaku‑culture storytelling. Their music merges J‑pop, blackgaze, Japanese folk, and slam into a uniquely chaotic sonic identity. The band has toured across Asia and Europe, performing at major festivals and earning a global cult following.

Recommended for fans of Ingested, Vulvodynia, Within Destruction, and Maximum the Hormone, “二次元コンプレックス 2D Complex” is available (CD/Cassette/Digital) as of July 10, 2026, from Stillbirth Records / Gore House Productions at https://orcd.co/2d-complex

China’s most unhinged fusion of anime culture and extreme metal, Dehumanizing Itatrain Worship, return with their newest single “Yomi”, taken from their upcoming full‑length album “二次元コンプレックス 2D Complex” out this July 2026 through Stillbirth Records, the subsidiary label from Gore House Productions.

Known globally as “the best anime death metal from China,” the band continues to push their bizarre, hyper‑violent, kawaii‑infected sound to new extremes. With brain‑melting anime‑style melodies, high‑speed blast beats, and a chaotic blend of J‑pop, brutal death metal, blackgaze, and Japanese folk, DIW have carved out one of the most unique identities in modern extreme music.

Having toured extensively across China, Japan, and Europe, and appearing at major festivals including Deathfeast Open Air, Eastsea Metal Fest, Monster Kill EU Tour, and Shockwave Fest, along with sharing the stage with such bands as Suicide Silence, Stillbirth, Born of Osiris, Origin, Belphegor, Vulvectomy, and more, the band now prepares to unleash their most ambitious and personal work yet.

Today, the band unveils their new single “Yomi” featuring Alan Grnja (Distant). The song stands as one of the album’s most striking and emotionally charged tracks, blending DIW’s signature slam brutality with Japanese folk elements and a solemn, atmospheric tone.

“‘Yomi’ features Alan Grnja from the Dutch deathcore heavyweights Distant. We blended in Japanese folk elements here. It’s solemn yet fierce, I think you guys are going to love it,” adds vocalist Kiryu.

The track follows the atmospheric piano interlude “Utsushiyo”, setting the stage for a descent into a mythic, folkloric underworld inspired by the character Acheron from Honkai: Star Rail.

“二次元コンプレックス 2D Complex” marks a major evolution for Dehumanizing Itatrain Worship, both musically and lyrically. While the band first gained notoriety for their meme‑driven anime‑slam chaos, this album digs deeper into Otaku psychology, isolation, and emotional collapse.

“We moved away from pure gore this time to focus more on anime culture, the hikikomori life, and my own mental state. These Otaku memes are just a shell. What’s actually inside is pain, hatred, and a genuine urge for self‑destruction. Imagine a car crash in Akihabara, that’s our music in a nutshell. We threw in everything from J‑pop and Blackgaze to Japanese folk. Every track is meant to stick with you. This album refuses to be boring,” adds Kiryu.

Dehumanizing Itatrain Worship
was formed from the collision of Japanese animation and extreme metal. DIW has become one of the most recognizable names in the global slam scene. Their sound is fast, brutal, kawaii, weird, and funny, a chaotic blend that has earned them a cult following across Asia and Europe.

For fans of: Ingested, Vulvodynia, Within Destruction, and Maximum The Hormone.

Due out on July 10, 2026, from Stillbirth Records / Gore House Productions, “二次元コンプレックス 2D Complex” is available for pre-order / pre-save at: https://orcd.co/2d-complex

“On our previous efforts, people probably saw us as just that ‘weird anime slam band’ sampling LoveLive! for shock value. But while making 2D Complex over the last two years, what I want to express has become much more honest and personal. This album is a collection of different interpretations of Otaku culture—the hikikomori anxiety, the rejection of reality, and the process of finding sanctuary in 2D worlds. It’s not just about memes anymore; it’s a real state of mind.

I wanted to create a record that you listen to from front to back, not just a bunch of singles thrown together. We’ve crammed things like J-pop, Blackgaze, and Japanese folk—stuff that shouldn’t really fit—into a Slam framework, but every shift is there to make that ‘distorted vibe’ feel complete. The structures are more complex and diverse than before, but the core is still pure violence and depression. I want fans to walk away feeling our perspective: colorful, but completely nihilistic.” – Kiryu Zhang – Vocals – Dehumanizing Itatrain Worship

About The Album Artwork:

Brutal but kawaii

About the album as a whole (LYRICALLY & MUSICALLY):

LYRICALLY

2D Complex pretty much sums it up. For me, this is just how I live.

We moved away from pure gore this time to focus more on anime culture, the hikikomori life, and my own mental state. To be blunt, these Otaku memes are just a shell. What’s actually inside is my pain, my hatred, and a genuine urge for self-destruction.

MUSICALLY

Imagine a car crash in Akihabara, that’s our music in a nutshell.

To be honest, we’ve never been a ‘textbook’ Slam band. Ever since we started heavily sampling LoveLive! in our earlier stuff, our style has always been a bit…weird? For this album, we wanted to lean even harder into the Otaku memes and use Slam as the heaviest possible way to package all these different musical elements.

You’re going to hear pure, neck-snapping Slam riffs, but we also threw in a lot of our own private stashes, everything from J-pop and Blackgaze to Japanese folk. We brought in friends from all over the world to help us finish this, and I want every track to be something that sticks with you. Bottom line: this is an album that refuses to be boring.

Track by Track (LYRICALLY & MUSICALLY):

1. Lucky☆Slam The album’s intro,  a tribute to my favorite anime, Lucky☆Star. It kicks off with a Black Metal riff and slams into a massive breakdown. I thought it’d be a cool way to tell everyone: get ready, I’m going to lose control

2. Slamonogatari This one’s about Nadeko Sengoku from Monogatari. That twisted darkness hidden behind a cute face fits Slam perfectly. The highlight is the melodic Heavy Metal solo from Andrew Lee at the end—honestly, my favorite part of the track.

3. Brutal Panzer Standard Slam, a Brutal Death themed after Girls und Panzer. Just imagine cute girls in tanks crushing everything on the battlefield. Musically, it’s the same vibe; this track was built for the pit.

4. Twisted Light We played around with a lot of glitch sounds and long pig squeals here. We got Akihiro Muto from Agent 0 for a guest spot; his gutturals are absolutely sick. I really want people to feel that “Twisted” vibe through this song.

5. 苦痛昇天 The title of this song means “Ascension in Agony”. A bit of a risky one. We added clean vocals, and it sounds like an anime opening, but the lyrics are actually about self-destruction and pill addiction. Huge thanks to Yui from Earthists. His vocals took this song to a whole new level.

6. Song of the Neet Our 2024 single, written for all the “home guards” (hikikomori) who reject society. Tons of guitar harmonics, plus Yanchi’s spoken word and Matt Yakesh’s screams—this is a true Otaku anthem.

7. Utsushiyo The intro for the next track, “Yomi.” We used a full piano piece to set the atmosphere.

8. Yomi featuring Alan Grnja from the Dutch deathcore heavyweights Distant. We blended in Japanese folk elements here. It’s solemn yet fierce—I think you guys are going to love it.

9. 約束  The title of this song means “promise”.This is the track I put the most heart into. I tried to fit Slam riffs into a Blackgaze/Screamo framework. NIIK (from Pale) killed it with the spoken word, and combined with the atmospheric synths, it’s the final chapter of farewell and self-destruction.

==================================================

STORY ANGLES / FUN FACTS ABOUT THE BAND

1. Our guitarist Xenochrist and bassist Zen are also members of another deathcore band called Leviathan. So we often do “package deal” shows where both bands play together. It’s “hell mode” for their stamina, but it’s a killer deal for the fans and promoters.

2. The band name “Itatrain” actually comes from a viral 2012 incident in Shanghai: a fan was caught kneeling and worshipping a train decorated with “LoveLive!” characters. We thought that kind of fanaticism was both stupid and hilarious at the time, so we decided to name the band after it.

3. The song “Yomi” is actually about the character Acheron from “Honkai: Star Rail,” and the inspiration for “苦痛昇天” came directly from the game “NEEDY GIRL OVERDOSE.”

4. 2026 marks the 10th anniversary of our first EP. What started as a “meme” bedroom project has somehow survived for a decade, and now we’ve even completed tours in Japan and Europe—it’s unbelievable to us.

5. I personally handle most of the band’s visual design, except for the album covers. This includes all the logos, layouts, and merch design. Controlling the art direction is crucial for me to ensure our visual style and music are perfectly in sync.

DEHUMANIZING ITATRAIN WORSHIP Unleashes “Brutal Panzer” – A Collision of Anime and Extreme Metal

New Album Out In 2025 via Stillbirth Records / Gore House Productions

Dehumanizing Itatrain Worship, the pioneering force in the anime slam and brutal death metal scene, is once again primed to demolish musical boundaries with their new single “Brutal Panzer”. This track is a taste of what’s in store from the band’s second full-length, which comes out in 2025 (Release Date TBD) on Stillbirth Records, a subsidiary of Gore House Productions. The band comments on the track:

“This song was inspired by the anime ‘Girls und Panzer’. We love the military otaku culture in the anime, so we created a song with cute melodies, but still brutal, just like the characters in the anime who are kawaii girls but drive tanks into battle. This is the second single we released for our new album. It returns to some of our 2016 styles, but also includes many new ideas.”

“Brutal Panzer” draws direct inspiration from the anime series Girls und Panzer, exemplifying the band’s commitment to creating more than just a musical gimmick. According to Kiryu, the single represents the band’s evolving mission to integrate anime culture into their music authentically.

Founded in 2014 by lead vocalist Kiryu Zhang, Dehumanizing Itatrain Worship has consistently pushed the limits of extreme music, creating a groundbreaking sound that defies traditional genre constraints.

With lyrics in both Japanese and English, Dehumanizing Itatrain Worship blends the intensity of brutal death metal with the vibrant aesthetics of anime culture. They are recommended for fans of Ingested, Hanabie, and Vulvodynia.

About:

Dehumanizing Itatrain Worship was founded in 2014 by lead vocalist Kiryu Zhang. The initial lineup included Kiryu Zhang, Itsuca, composer Khezk, guitarist Senjougahara Yousei, and guitarist Nibiru. In 2016, the band completed their debut EP “μ’Sick” and released it on Bandcamp and the Slam Worldwide channel. They also used this EP to participate in Japan’s largest doujinshi market, Comiket Market, where it received excellent feedback. Following this success, the band signed with Stillbirth Records to prepare for future releases. The EP has since accumulated over two million streams on Spotify.

In 2018, the band was invited by the American grindcore band Cheerleader Concubine to collaborate on an eight-track split album. However, due to personal commitments, most of the original members, except Kiryu Zhang and Khezk, left the band. Despite this setback, the band continued to compose new material and eventually found a new guitarist, Jiakang Hu, in 2019. With the new lineup, Dehumanizing Itatrain Worship completed their first full-length album, which was released in 2023.

In 2024, the band welcomed Zen on bass and Derek on drums, solidifying the current lineup. Dehumanizing Itatrain Worship embarked on the “Brutal Impact” China tour and participated in numerous indoor music festivals across China. They also took part in the death metal festival Deathfeast Open Air in Germany and held a successful headlining show in Thailand.

Achievements:

  • Released debut EP “μ’Sick” in 2016
  • Collaborated on an eight-track split album with Cheerleader Concubine in 2018

“If the only thing the band had was a well-executed gimmick, I likely would have lost interest by now. One of their main strengths is that the core sound would hold up even if the gimmick was taken out.” – The Goat Review

“China’s Dehumanizing Itatrain Worship took the internet by storm with their debut EP μ’Sick.” – MetalSucks

“Dehumanizing Itatrain Worship made a mark on the metal community with head-spinning brutality accompanied” – Unite Asia

EPK – Dehumanizing Itatrain Worship – Brutal Panzer (single) (2024) (Gore House Productions)

Publicist – Jon Asher – gorehouse[@]ashermediarelations[.]com

“Brutal Panzer” is the second single we released for our new album coming in 2025. We revised it many times and finally completed it in November this year. It returns to some of our 2016 styles but also includes many new ideas.” – Kiryu Zhang – Vocals

==========================================

About The Single Artwork:

Kiryu: As before, we asked Nanjijun to create the crazy guro-style cover art for us.

About the song:

Kiryu: This song was inspired by the anime Girls und Panzer. We really love the military otaku culture in the anime, so we created a song with cute melodies but still brutal, just like the characters in the anime who are kawaii girls but drive tanks into battle.

Fun Facts – Story Angles

1. In our 2018 split album, I didn’t actually write any lyrics; all vocals were just meaningless gutturals.

2. Dehumanizing Itatrain Worship was initially supposed to be a grindcore band.

3. The vocals on our first EP sounded extremely overloaded, but it wasn’t intentional—the vocal accidentally increased the volume when exporting.

4. Most people think we are from Japan, but we are actually from China.

5. The band’s name originated from a meme in China in 2014.

==========================================
