MetalUndeground Premiere Sci-Fi Metal RAPHEUMETS WELL Album “Enders Door”

‘Enders Door’ Out May 26th via Test Your Metal Records

Hickory, N.C. sci-fi metal band RAPHEUMETS WELL (Ra-few-mets) has teamed with MetalUnderground.com for the premiere of their new album “Enders Doors” out now via Test Your Metal Records. Once again RAPHEUMETS WELL brings forth a voyage enriched with lore and a sound that is a complex mix of classical orchestrations, cosmic synths, and extreme metal to portray the epics of parallel worlds.

The synopsis of this next album “Enders Door” is in the fifth era of the Avomenian Empire, amidst the planetary ruins of Vaath, a rogue traveler would discover an artifact that would forever change his place in the cosmos. Upon arriving to retrieve the artifact, it became apparent that Eryos’s brother Nathyiem would never make it to their arranged meeting point.  In departing from the planet Vaath, Eryos received a distress signal from his brother’s ship, coming from an uncharted planet.  Upon arriving, he found a odd world inhabited by a mysterious species called the Dreth led by lecherous matriarch named Eishar.  It is here that he would uncover a faced-door, an inter-dimensional gateway to the Ender.

About:

Inspired by the fictitious universe of Sovael, RAPHEUMETS WELL is the name coined to the conscious deity who oversees the anastomosis of the multiverse, the master of portals and inter-dimensional travel.  Being personified as a trickster, Rapheumet often creates chaos for unsuspecting voyagers.  The word “Well” refers to the gravity wells, which like black holes, are catalyst of change and gateways between the cosmic plains.

Formed in 2008, 2011 and 2012 saw their first two demos followed by their first self release full length ‘Dimensions’ unleashed in 2014 that progressively told a larger story portrayed in a complex saga of Atai (ancient architects) who aid in the propagation of sentient life throughout the multi-verse. In 2016, they released their highly praised sophomore album ‘The Exile’ via Test Your Metal Records.

Now in 2017, from the birth of organic matter to great wars that tear the fabric of space/time, the story of RAPHEUMETS WELL‘s music serves to immerse you into a world of oddities once again with the band’s third release ‘Enders Door’ due out on May 26th via Test Your Metal Records.

“this album is chock-full of powerful, aggressive and moving sounds that show the diversity and complexity of the Symphonic Metal genre.” – 925 Rebellion

“Enders Door – a humongous piece of synth driven, border line operatic, epic death/black metal…. To sum this album up, it is necessary to underline two things: Enders Door is massive, balls to the wall, in a sense very American in the old-school sense of bigger-better. It does not let up for a moment. It is also, for all its dramatic, heavy and violent darkness somehow rather filled with joy. For something so complex and bulked-up, there is a real sense of fun emanating from every track. Whether delivering rabid tech-death riffs over hyper fast blast beats, or introducing female vocals over multiple layers of synthesizers, strings and double kick drums, Rapheumets Well keeps it intense and inspired.” – Archaic Triad
“The best symphonic metal albums understand the balance between the synths and the rest of the band, and Enders Door possesses that necessary element. Enders Door can also take you on a journey, offering a fantastic trip into unknown lands, which helps keep you on your toes. Most importantly, it lives up to the potential hinted at with The Exile, and should be an easy sell for fans of this style.” – Dead Rhetoric

“The sense of epic that exists throughout Enders Door hits instantly with its mix of heavy riffs, death metal vocals, classical orchestrations & synth effects.” – Games, Brrraaains & A Head-Banging Life

“presented what will easily be among the top prog metal albums of the year…” – Metal Underground“An epic album in every sense of the word” – Games, Brrraaains & A Head-Banging Life

“Cydemind have an excellent album on their hands with “Erosion.”” – Progressive Music Planet

“Cydemind have captured a sound that I have spent a long time searching for. Combining the modern progressive style of bands such as Dream Theater and Haken, with some exceptional violin at the forefront to really stand out from the crowd.” – Belwood Music

“Out of Montreal, Quebec, Canada could be the next big musical act in the world of instrumental progressive metal, and that band is known as CYDEMIND…The beauty of this record is that the entire record stands out, yet the flow of the musicianship and arrangements flow together like that expensive wine that is aged over time and that cheese that is cured to where it has its perfect, exquisite taste to it. ” – Muen Magazine

“A lush and atmospheric journey that brings brisk mountain air into my lungs” – Metal Trenches

“Bottom line, “Erosion” is a glorious album that is worthy of any Metal… nay, any music collection. It’s simply wonderful music to listen to.” – 925 Rebellion

Ok, here is my first impression : Wow! Karkaos, from Montréal returns with this new album and it’s great… The first connection my brain did was Amon Amarth, Karkaos has that powerful sound that makes you ready to go for a journey against stronger forces. All the elements that are added to the music, bring up the word epic in my head. The music is fast and hits hard in all of the songs. I loved this album and will listen to it again.

Montreal thrash champions MUTANK return with a new EP “W.H.A.T.S.T.H.A.T.” due out June 16th via Boonsdale Records plus will be embarking on their first ever cross Canada tour with legends ANNIHILATOR (dates listed below). The new EP from the 2014 Wacken Metal Battle Canada winners is short, but sweet to follow their debut cassette EP “M.E.C.H. Metal” and is a taste of what’s to come from the band’s full length planned to be unleashed later this year. The five track demolisher “W.H.A.T.S.T.H.A.T.” was produced with Topon Das (Fuck The Facts) and is a step up from what people have heard from MUTANK thus far.

Vocalist/bassist Stephen Reynolds comments:

“Someone is gonna hurt their neck listening to this…This upcoming EP ‘W.H.A.T.S.T.H.A.T’ sort of started as a joke. I just thought it would be funny to force an acronym for ‘what’s that?’ and I came up with ‘We Have Alottta Thrash Songs That Have Abbreviate Titles’. From there we came up with the concept of an EP with a bunch of forced acronym titles. The EP itself was written somewhat conceptually with the individual songs being very short thrash songs that come together to make one longer progressive thrash track, which harkens back to the title since we don’t even know what it is! We have a ton of new material in the works as well, people can expect new stuff sooner rather than later!”

MUTANK‘s first single off the EP, “P.O.P.U.L.O.U.S” is exclusively streaming now with an interview on Decibel Magazine at the following link: http://decibelmagazine.com/blog/2017/5/25/track-premiere-introductory-interview-saying-hello-to-mutank
