“Chaoth is a M-A-S-T-E-R at what he does on the bass. At not a single point does he sink to the lower three strings, to prove how djent he can be, for more than ten seconds, and never does he get too noodly to enjoy what’s going on. The guy can fuckin’ PLAY a bass…What I immediately noticed with the Communion EP was that all the songs (there are four) sounded really well rounded… what it SOUNDS like is the unholy child of Les Claypool and Meshuggah. Just picture that for a second.” – Blood Rock Media

Montreal, QC – Nov 21, 2017
DIRTY MACHINE New Video “Self Made Hero”
Out Now! New Album “Discord” via Zombie Shark Records

Alternative metal outfit Dirty Machine from Los Angeles, California have released a powerful new music video for the track “Self Made Hero” directed and produced by Ron Thunderwood from 9Electric; who has directed music videos for Hollywood Undead, Combi Christ and Stitched up Heart.
The video can be viewed here: https://youtu.be/OfCc7dmrnz0
Dirty Machine recently inked a worldwide deal with Zombie Shark Records and hit the road with Insane Clown Posse. The band’s latest album ‘Discord’ was produced by Ben Jovi and Dirty Machine at Left Coast Label Studios. The album was mixed by Arnold “Hedge” Quezada and Darren Davis at Blunoize Studios, and was mastered by Josh Wickman from Dreadcore Productions (KING 810, Within The Ruins).
Dirty Machine has been heralding the nu metal flag since 2012 and pulls major influences from nu metal-era bands such as Korn, Limp Bizkit, Slipknot, Linkin Park, Nonpoint, Mudvayne and Sevendust. The band has built a rabid following, especially in the Kansas City area, due to getting regular airtime on the leading Kansas City rock station 98.9 The Rock and headlining the Jägermeister Stage at the 2016 Kansas City Rockfest. Dirty Machine has shared the stage with P.O.D., Adema, Ghost, Sixx AM, Disturbed, Trivium, Hell Yeah, Alien Ant Farm, Otep, Metalachi, Orgy and many more.
Frontman David Leach states, “We chose to release “Self Made Hero” as our next single, simply because of the current state of the world. Everyone is angry, everyone is divided and “Self Made Hero” is a song that completely contradicts that. It’s about paving your own way and writing your own story. Regardless of what the media, politicians or celebrities want you to feel. The middle class has always been kicked around. More now than ever before. This is their anthem.”

0 NEWS: SONIC PROPHECY New Video “Night Terror”; New Album “Savage Gods” via Rockshots Records Out Jan 19th

(contact info below)
NEWS RELEASE
Montreal, QC – November 21, 2017
For Fans of Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, HammerFall, Manowar, Saxon
SONIC PROPHECY New Video “Night Terror”
New Album “Savage Gods” via Rockshots Records Out Jan 19th

American power metallers SONIC PROPHECY are set to unleash their third full length “Savage Gods” via Rockshots Records on January 19, 2018. Featuring 10 fist pounding tracks rooted in traditional heavy metal melded with the symphonic beauty of power metal, SONIC PROPHECY capture the excitement and sound of such bands as Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Helloween, Hammerfall and Kamelot while blending other musical styles to arrive at a sound all their own.
The band’s new music video and first single “Night Terror” can be viewed at the following link:

Vocalist Shane Provstgaard comments:
“We think our fans will love this album! Savage Gods, as a record, basically combines all of the things I think people liked about our previous releases and then moves us forward into new areas musically and lyrically. For our fans, there will be no mistaking this is Sonic Prophecy, but we definitely cover some new exciting ground on this record.”
“Savage Gods” follows SONIC PROPHECY‘s 2015 sophomore release “Apocalyptic Promenade” (Maple Metal Records), an album that combined the melody and beauty of symphonic power metal while maintaining the crunch, drive and power of traditional metal plus their 2011 debut “A Divine Act of War”, which had its music placed in the television series “Rock n’ Lock”, the video game “Volgarr the Viking” and movie Danny Trejo’s “Vengeance”.
The upcoming release lyrically covers many topics, from quests and medieval wars, to mechanized genocide, to the dangers associated with extremist ideologies. Broadening and stretching their musical palate, “Savage Gods” will give fans an adventurous listening experience. It’s an album that combines melodic hard rock, driving heavy metal, and chest pounding anthems in a way that is uniquely Sonic Prophecy.
“This is pure heavy metal with driving guitars, thundering drums, and some of what I feel is my best vocal work to date. With songs “Night Terror, “Unholy Blood” and the album title track, we’ve really laid down a brutal sonic backdrop, along with keeping the melody, which is important to our music.” adds vocalist Shane Provstgaard
“Savage Gods” is available for pre-order on Amazon along with single “Night Terror” available for download on iTunes and Amazon.
Following “Savage Gods” release, SONIC PROPHECY has plans to hit the road and tour across North America, Europe and beyond. The band has performed with Tyr, Alestorm, Ratt, Cinderella, Accept and Sabaton.

“Overall there are pockets of people that love traditional power metal not focused on speed and virtuosity but rather setting moods and exploring mid-tempo, epic, and/or slower textures. Sonic Prophecy is different than the norm, and for that be applauded.” – Dead Rhetoric
“With their member arsenal as a unified, creative force, Sonic Prophecy make music for people who appreciate good production value and technical prowess. Their music blends their individual styles into a chugging, epic blast of American metal with no shortage of solos or grandiose and tasteful choruses. ” – Slug Mag
” the sweeping guitar solos could rival the big lead-breaks on any major label Power Metal release.” – My Global Mind
“Heavy/Power Metal with grand ambitions and enough rocking riffs to fill a house. Think a mixture of Iron Maiden, Iced Earth, Manowar, Blind Guardian, etc. The songs are rousing and catchy…Sonic Prophecy have released an impressive and ambitious 73 minute album chock full of Power/Heavy Metal goodness. Highly recommended.” – Wonderbox Metal (Review Apocalyptic Promenade)
“The debut album from Utah’s Sonic Prophecy, “A Divine Act of War” is a full on power metal assault featuring soaring vocals, blazing guitars, and symphonic keys driven at full throttle by the pounding rhythm section. The album was written by the band as a true celebration of all things metal and as such encompasses many metal styles ranging from the heavy, anthemic fist pounding roar of “Heavy Artillery” to the folk-metal glory of “A Warriors Destiny”, or the dark majesty of the title track. From front to back the album truly represents all that is Sonic Prophecy style power metal!” – Metal Rules (Review A Divine Act of War)

Sonic Prophecy takes influences from the Great Old Gods of the Pantheon of Heavy Metal! Their aim…to join their inspirations on those giddy Olympian Heights and bring the glory of heavy metal down to Earth! Sonic Prophecy describes their music as, “thematic power-infused heavy metal.”
Formed in 2008, and inspired by the likes of Dio, Iron Maiden, Manowar, Black Sabbath, Iced Earth, Sonic Prophecy has released two fine, well-received albums, ‘A Divine Act of War’ and ‘Apocalyptic Promenade’, and now prepare to unleash their third, ‘Savage Gods’, through the mighty Rockshots Records on January 18th 2018. This album builds on the firm foundations created by its predecessors; but expands Sonic Prophecy’s sound into further realms musically and lyrically.
Sonic Prophecy, are like Iron Maiden, a larger than life band, inspired by this world but very much creating their own. As vocalist Shane Provstgaard states proudly. “We formed to play Heavy Metal, we have always played Heavy Metal, and we always will play Heavy Metal!”
Shane is stoked for fans to hear ‘Savage Gods’. “Our fans will love this album. As a record it combines all of the things people liked about our previous releases and then moves us forward into new areas musically and lyrically.”
It’s in the live arena that Sonic Prophecy really lay down the law. “We realise that people’s time and money are important and that they are a show to be entertained. We give every show 100% regardless of whether the crowd is twenty people or thousands of people. We also approach our live shows as fans of Heavy Metal, knowing that we represent, on some level, all of the influences that came before us. This means visually and sonically we deliver a show that is fun to watch, inclusive of the crowd, and above all else, loud and proud!”

PSYCHOSTICK‘s “IV: Revenge of The Vengeance” is available on iTunes here, the band’s online store here and all major online retailers.
About:
Harnessing their crazy sense of humor and love of all things metal, vocalist Rob “Rawrb” Kersey and guitarist Josh “The J” Key joined forces with drummer Alex “Shmalex” Dontre and bassist Matty J “Moose” to create Pyschostick, and a style of music they’ve coined as ‘humorcore’. With hilarious lyrics, heavy riffs, notorious stage antics and high-energy performances, the band has caused millions of laughs around the world and hundreds of mosh pits across the US of A, often simultaneously, since its birth in Phoenix, AZ in 2000.
Now residing in Chicago, IL, the almost 100 percent do-it-yourself laugh factory Psychostick have released four full-length albums–‘We Couldn’t Think of a Title’ (2006), ‘Sandwich’ (2009), ‘Space Vampires VS Zombie Dinosaurs in 3D’ (2011) and ‘IV: Revenge of the Vengeance’ (2014)—and two EPs—their holiday album, ‘The Flesh Eating Rollerskate Holiday Joyride’ (2007), and ‘The Digital Appetizer’. With their signature sound (Chimaira, Machine Head and Hatebreed sexing Tenacious D and Weird Al Yankovic) their most recent offering, the crowd-funded ‘IV: Revenge of the Vengeance’ includes the beard anthem ‘Obey the Beard’ and popular ‘Dogs Like Socks’, ‘Quack Kills’, ‘So. Heavy.’, ‘Blue Screen’, and a tribute to the 21st century’s most beloved action super hero, ‘Bruce Campbell’. Psychostick are crazy to share with fans many more comedy sing-a-longs on the road and more!
– 30 –
“humorcore band Psychostick is like the Jerry Seinfeld of metal. On its fourth full-length release, IV: Revenge of The Vengeance, the band’s sound invokes similarities too oddball artists such as Mr. Bungle, GWAR, Primus, Green Jello, Scatterbrain and Austrian Death Machine, to name a few. On its 21 ridiculous tracks (including various short skits between songs), the band explores its brand of observational comedy mixed with brutal breakdowns. The band exceeds expectations by parodying popular culture, relationships and binge drinking.” – Bravewords
“Psychostick pulls the pin from a hand grenade and shoves it down the gullet of comedy. When it explodes, anyone within earshot finds themselves covered in the entrails of hilarity! These guys are off-the-chart insane. Imagine if the cast of “Jackass” formed a metal band with Andy Samberg, Sam Kinison, and Seth Rogen and then they threw a house party that made “Project X” look like amateur hour by comparison. Yeah, now you’re getting it!” – Axs
“I do like when bands like Pyschostick inject humour into songs and REVENGE OF THE VENGEANCE is pretty damn funny…The first single ‘Obey The Beard’ is magnificent and this is coming from a clean-shaven dude. It made me want to grow one. Comedy Metal fans can listen for a couple of inside Metal jokes (Captain Stupid!) and a cameo by ‘snaky’. The production is immaculate and as always these guys are as heavy as hell. Weird Al on crack. I wanted to use that phrase and I couldn’t even think how to work it into this review so I just dumped it here at the end. Humour is so subjective but I know what I like and I really like IV: REVENGE OF THE VENGEANCE.” – Metal Rules
“Ha ha. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Ha ha ha!
Okay, give me a moment. I’m still chuckling every time I think of Psychostick’s latest 21 track album Revenge of the Vengeance. Every moment on it is filled with hilarity, from marrying beards, being afraid of ducks and then saving a crowd of people from a dimensional time portal. And I thought I’d heard it all…Tenacious D were the kings of comedy metal, but Rize of the Fenix has made it look like they’ve reached their hay day, as much as I love them. The king’s crown has to go somewhere, and for an album like this, it looks like Psychostick are next in line for the throne.” – Rock Revolt Magazine
“PSYCHOSTICK really can be described as “When Marx Brothers meet Hardcore and Metal”. Their fourth album, “IV: Revenge of the Vengeance” is not only a very tasteful album of music, but as well is a medicine for a bad mood…the entire album is excellent, no doubt about that.” – Metal Temple
“In their fourth studio album, IV: Revenge of the Vengeance, Psychostick continues to unapologetically weave facepalm-worthy masterpieces of metal.” CJLO 1690AM (Montreal)
