About:
BUFFALO THEORY MTL is a band of beer chugging, heavy riffing fans for the fans. Attributing their name to a scene from the pop culture 80’s TV show CHEERS (Cliff Claven explains the Buffalo theory of beer to his buddy Norm (explanation here.)) and the MTL abbreviation representing their pride for their hometown of Montreal, these seasoned veterans from the Canadian and Brazilian metal scenes are always ready to set the stage ablaze with their stoner / thrash infused metal for beer lovers around the world.
Comprised of members from legendary Quebec bands Ghoulunatics, Les Ékorchés, Arseniq 33 and currently active Vantablack Warship along with vocalist Anton Parr’s experience in thrash bands in Brazil. BUFFALO THEORY MTL’s passion for metal is truly in the blood of this quintet whose past experiences are a combined amount of over 1300 shows, 15 studio albums along with sharing the stage with bands such as Korn, Marilyn Manson, Testament and Suicidal Tendencies.
The band’s first EP ‘Live In Studio’ was released in 2010 and was later followed by their debut full length 2012’s ‘Heavy Ride’ released via Galy Records, which was then followed by their 2014 EP “Murder Trilogy’.
Now in 2016, the band returns with their third EP ‘Skeptic Knight’ set for release on February 26th via Stand Productions.

About:
EXES FOR EYES is a project born of an overwhelming amount of mutual respect and admiration between two men. A respect for one another’s work ethic, musical proficiency, stylistic taste and of course, for each other as people.
The concept of blindness, be it willing, involuntary, inherent or otherwise is so foreign and far removed from anything within the realm of experience for these men. However as the process has begun to create this music, it has become apparent how limited one’s own vision can be when staring at the broad side of limitless potential and ambition.
With the musical vision of Dave Sheldon (ex Man With Target, Annihilator) and the lyrical conception of vocalist and frontman Big James (Endast, Authors) the project is very quickly taking shape into something more than either anticipated. The hope is to see the world of metal in a new light, with EXES FOR EYES.

An Outsider – Trailer Video here.
Seattle’s RHINE have teamed up with NoCleanSinging for the premiere of the their upcoming album ‘An Outsider’ due out on February 5th, 2016.
The album can be heard at the following link: http://www.nocleansinging.com/2016/01/29/an-ncs-album-premiere-and-a-review-rhine-an-outsider/
Vocalist/guitarist Gabe Tachell comments about the release:
“The name An Outsider is about the struggle that comes with being different, it’s a love/hate situation. You want to shine but you’re afraid of it at the same time. You want to create trends, not follow them, but it’s scary to be the first one. It also has to do with social struggles and always feeling like a stranger. The album isn’t entirely cohesive though, no song is alike, we experiment a lot with mixing genres. It’s really all over the map emotionally too, not just angry and dark, but sometimes totally ironic or sometimes very deep and inspiring. It mixes in emotions you wouldn’t typically hear on a metal record like joy and nostalgia. The listening experience is a journey that won’t get you worn out on a single emotion, instead it is dynamic like we are as humans.”
‘An Outsider’ is the follow up to RHINE‘s 2011 debut ‘Duality’, which was first a solo effort by band founder Gabriel Tachell (guitar and vocals) whom is now joined by Alex Smolin on guitar (ex-Metameric), James Porter on bass (Ideofone), and Carlos Delgado (Inferion, ex-Death Crowned King) to collaborate on this project. 0 Prog Metal Zone – Like Animals – Feral (EP)
great vocal melodies, fusion inspired chords and a very cool spacey psychedelic edge from this excellent band

0 Metal Underdogs – Album preview: Van Halst shows diversity of female voice
It’s cool to hear that Kami Van Halst dominates as the vocalist performing both growls and soaring vocals in their sound.

0 Trebuchet-Magazine – Gomorrah – The Haruspex (Test Your Metal Records)
This is direct, no-frills, face punching death metal, underpinned with an eerie electronic tinge, and with the polished sheen of a mass murderer’s razor blade. As tracks like “Carcosa” demonstrate, this works very well, the end result sounding brutal and addictive in equal measure.
0 Feelcore – Sanktuary – Winter’s Doom
Leur son m’a rapidement fait penser à Megadeth, mais avec une touche de froid.
