Canada’s Alienatör Are Now Streaming Politically Charged Album “Regrets”

New Album “Regrets” Out Nov 25th

Alienatör is a sludge metal band from Thunder Bay, Canada that combine punk, hardcore, and noise rock elements into a stripped-down package, full of razor-sharp riffs and memorable hooks. They are now streaming their second album “Regrets”, which promises to be darker, more focused, and more intense than their first.

Composed during the claustrophobia of the 2020 election and the global pandemic, “Regrets” channels rage while the lyrics express alienation, grief, pain, and disgust at the state of the modern world. The band comments on the album:

“Regrets is a grim postcard from the depths of the human psyche. Our darkest release yet, it is a reaction to years of deep political turmoil, the erosion of truth, as well as personal politics of grief, loss, and struggle. It’s an album that touches on personal and social themes. Flourishes of melody drenched in a caustic sludge, painted in shades of black. We still have some blistering fast punk-influenced tunes but we’re branching out and showing our songwriting depth.”

Within “Regrets” are eleven heavy-hitting songs with enough variety to keep even the most discerning metalheads interested. From the odd time signatures in the off-kilter “Revisionist History” that speaks of the erosion of truth in our public discourse and the dangerous narcissists who create their own reality to the bleak history being told in “Irreconcilable” that is equal in both horrific subject matter and dynamic riffs, there is something for everyone on this record.

The record was produced and mixed by bassist/vocalist Sean Skillen, mastered by Brad Boatright and the album artwork was done by Peter David Wragg. Aggressive and emotional, it is recommended for fans of Neurosis, Botch, and Jesus Lizard.

“Regrets” drops officially on Friday, November 25th, and can be heard in full via its album stream premiere on Doomed & Stoned HERE.

About: Hailing from Thunder Bay, ON, Canada, Alienatör is a sludge metal band that combines punk, hardcore, and noise rock elements into a stripped-down package, full of razor-sharp riffs and memorable hooks.

Their debut album, “Pariahs,” released in 2109 moves from fast and aggressive to slow and swampy with touches of experimental weirdness. Many of the lyrics are about how we numb ourselves to the pain and disappointment of everyday life.

Fast forward to 2022, and the band is ready to unleash their follow-up, entitled “Regrets,” which introduces new drummer Simon Paquette to the fold. The album is bleak and abrasive, with moments of calm, melody, and beauty to juxtapose against the ugliness. Raw, uncompromising, and dark, it is emotionally heavy music that reflects a chaotic time in history.

“Noisy post-hardcore sludge, full of energy and rage… a genuine ass-kicker of a record.” – Decibel

“This band is burly, grimy, and the sonic manifestation of discontent. If it’s motivational music you seek, back away slowly. Alienatör ply their trade in the margins of metal, with elements of sludge, noise rock, hardcore, heavy metal, and crust punk. Listeners of Pariahs, the band’s debut full-length, will hear shades of Unsane, Red Fang, Cursed, Kvelertak, Acid Bath, and Cancer Bats, among other guitar-heavy acts by whom sophistication and polish are eschewed.” – Lambgoat

“Pariahs shows Alienatör firing all of their creative cylinders and marks a multifaceted, all-consuming sludge opera delivered with convincing force and accents.” – Idioteq

“Gritty, high-octane sludge…” – Metal Trenches

“From beginning to end Alienatör offers up a truly murky, chunky yet noise filled sound that tears at your ear drums, but in the best possible way. Each track is a madhouse of artery stopping, head banging sludge and noise rock that you cannot simply turn away from.” – Cadaver Garden

“Alienator are miserable and they’d like you to join them.” – Lambgoat

Vancouver, Canada’s Opus Arise is an orchestral metal ensemble that brings together classical strings and metal rhythms to create luscious soundscapes to dissonant chaos. Their second album “The Network” teleports listeners into a cyberpunk world filled with neon lights, and punctuated with progressive riffs. Compared to their last album “Revelation”, released in 2016, their compositions have become slightly less metal, but they have upped the ante in the string section going from a trio to a quintet. The third single “Change” is a pivotal point in the album, where it is at its heaviest. The band comments on it and the album as a whole:

“The album builds itself up with steady grooves that lead into some of the heaviest moments on the album. We then break into a thoughtful, atmospheric middle section with a triumphant ending that leads to the climax of the album. After many years that seemed like forever, we’re extremely excited to release our follow-up “The Network”. Thanks to the experience and wisdom of Maor Appelbaum, we’re very stoked that we brought the album to what it needed to be after much trial and error. We hope everyone will enjoy this journey through this Cyberpunk-inspired world!”

The eight-track album features a wide arrangement of influences performed by nine members. It was primarily composed by Matthew Logan and Matthew Hannah but former members have also left a bit of material to be used for future albums. They tried many different guitars and tones for this record, and through much trial and error, they finally settled on the John Petrucci Majesty 7 with his Neural DSP, which they will use going forward. They cite that it really allows the space for the strings to come out while still being heavy and crunchy.

Influenced by prog, neo-classical, and even extreme genres like black and death, Opus Arise is recommended for fans of Liquid Tension Experiment, Powerglove, and Scale The Summit.

The video for “Change” can be watched via its premiere on AllAboutTheRock HERE.

Recently wrapping up their North American tour supporting legendary German speed metallers ACCEPT, Narcotic Wasteland founded by guitarist Dallas Toler-Wade is sharing their assaulting new single “Victims of the Algorithm” with a music video premiere on Decibel Magazine HERE.

The track is a crushing speed storm of death thrash, with its visceral vocals, and a demolishing blast beat war to annihilate the mosh pit. The song is the first time drummer/ vocalist Joseph Howard collaborated with Wade.

“I had the music done for an untitled track that I already recorded in the studio, but I didn’t have lyrics written yet, then Joseph showed me lyrics he wrote called Victims of the Algorithm and after I read them, I knew they were the perfect match for this song. To break it down, Victims of the Algorithm is about a lot of things, but for me, after reading Howard’s lyrics, it’s mostly about putting down our phones and breaking free from this ridiculous round of existence we have created for ourselves. Disconnecting from the daily neurotypical absurdities and enjoying life in the moment.” says Wade.

The music video was created by Kenji Tsunami of Tsunami films. Footage for the video was captured at the Thirsty Axe in Ukiah, CA, and at the band’s rehearsal space in San Francisco, CA.

“I think Kenji really captured our live prowess very well!! It has a very gritty punk rock feel to it, and fits the song and its meaning perfectly,” adds Wade.

“Victims of the Algorithm” will be featured on Narcotic Wasteland‘s forthcoming 2023 album via Megaforce Records (release date to be determined). The single was recorded with engineer, and producer Erik Schultek who is no stranger to the band having recorded drums, engineered and produced their self-titled debut album. The band’s 2023 album will be the follow-up to their sophomore full-length 2017’s “Delirium Tremens”.

Stream for “Victims of the Algorithm” available on https://orcd.co/nwvota

Inspired mostly by thrash metal and classic heavy metal, Narcotic Wasteland is becoming more thrash and speed and less death metal and getting better at writing material that is meaningful and powerful. They are recommended for fans of Vader, Death, The Crown, Autopsy, Pestilence, and Nile.

About:

Narcotic Wasteland started as a side project Dallas Toler-Wade had been working on the past few years when he was not touring or in the writing/studio with metal heavyweights “Nile.”

‘So I just started writing some songs kind of more in the style of things I was playing before my time in Nile. The more we started working on these demos the more we wanted to complete an album and take it to the stage!!! Our observation of what was going on in parts of the town we grew up in and in other parts of the world fueled a new level of angst for me personally.” DTW

NEWS RELEASE

Montreal, QC – November 17, 2022

ASYLENCE’s New Music Video “Soulless” Is Bloody Tears For Friends Lost To Addiction

New Album “Endanger Us All” Out February 2023

Forged from the melting pot of Detroit’s underground metal scene, Asylence is a well-oiled metal machine built with passion, intent, and ferocity like no other. At the beginning of next year, they will be releasing their full-length album “Endanger Us All” and The Circle Pit is now premiering their second single “Soulless”, which comes at you heavy, fast, and punishing as they count down the days to the album release. They wanted the second look at this new offering to be a heavy one, “Soulless” was the obvious choice. Vocalist Ryan Lang explains further:

“This is another oldie but a goodie. One of the heaviest songs we’ve ever written especially early on in the band. This is screaming in an addict’s face. This is how hard it is to see a loved one fade away into the depths of addiction. This song is so emotional for me, I’ve lost far too many friends to drugs and addiction, and I’m no stranger to my own struggles myself. I hope that this song can provide someone with comfort that they are not alone and maybe this could help encourage people to wake up and change their lives for the better.”

A fun fact about the single, the ending was actually first written off the cuff live. They screwed up how it was supposed to end and just ran with it and the crowd loved it. They did too, so it was added to the final song. The album “Endanger Us All” is a combination of Asylence’s oldest and newest material. The older songs have always been a staple in their live sets and they wanted to finally record them right and do them justice. The new songs have been completed since the release of their 2020 EP “Eulogy Of Man” and they really constructed the bridge from what we were to what they’re becoming.

Asylence started out trying to be as heavy as they could possibly be but now they find themselves exploring more techniques and ideas that they had never previously thought to pursue. They are recommended for fans of Arch Enemy, DevilDriver, and Amon Amarth.

About: Asylence (uh-sigh-lence): A hybrid of the words Asylum and Silence, when joined together, present a universal idea and timeless message: The constant suffering and failures of mankind. After the dissolution of drummer Alex Aubuchon’s highly active, long-standing thrash band, he began to focus his efforts on recruiting for his new project. He discovered the talent of guitarist Aaron Lumsden, an avid scene supporter who frequented many local and regional shows.

A dedicated relationship quickly formed between the pair, and Asylence was born. Frontman Ryan Lang, having been a mainstay in the Detroit metal scene but group-less at the time, was Asylence’s first choice to handle vocal duties. Ryan accepted, excited at the idea of hitting the stage once again. Shortly after, bassist Richard Olrich joined the group to complete the sound. A new era of heavy metal ensued.

Forged from the melting pot of Detroit’s underground metal scene, Asylence is a well-oiled metal machine built with passion, intent, and ferocity like no other. Since their formation in 2016, Asylence has been on a path of sonic destruction as they crush their audiences with fierce live performances throughout Michigan and surrounding states, opening for national acts such as Archspire, Belphegor, and Sea of Treachery, among others. Taking no prisoners and amassing a loyal, respecting fan base in the Midwest and beyond, behold the rise of Asylence.

Toronto, Canada’s Nihilist Death Cult have its first album coming out this year, and to get listeners riled up they are releasing the video for the single “You Get What You Deserve” ft. a guest solo from Ian Mumble (Overthrow). Each of the nine tracks on the album is a shot of adrenaline in the veins of old-school punk rock and hardcore that take heavy riffs and slam them into relevant lyrics that you’ll want to sing along with. The single is directed to those who are always talking shit but never do anything:

“Your once proud moment is all in the past, what have you done all these years?” – the band comments further:

“Instead of writing more technical and trying to be complicated, we took the opposite approach and focused on the riffs, having strong catchy riffs was important to us, we were never worried about song lengths or slowing down, or having a soft mellow part in the middle section like most bands do… these songs are deliberately short and intense to capture the anger and hate in the mood of the songs… to keep the pace relentless… an execution to the songs with a “no compromise” attitude”. This should appeal to most fans of music I’ve done in the past, whether it be Overthrow, Soulstorm, or Tribe of Pazuzu… I feel it still retains my writing style while also expressing another facet/feel of my writing… my writing has always been on the darker side with anger and hate mixed in for attitude… I want to bring that back to punk and metal, the hate, anger, fire… relentless fast music.”

Vocalist/bassist Nick Sagias started NDC in 2018 after ending his previous band Soulstorm. This new effort should appeal to most fans of music he’s done in the past, whether it be Overthrow, Soulstorm, or Tribe of Pazuzu. He feels that it still retains his writing style while also expressing another facet of his creativity, it’s still dark and full of anger and hate mixed in for attitude. He channels that into his punk and metal hate, anger, fire… relentless fast music that is recommended for fans of early DRI, early Bad Brains, and Nails.

The music video for “You Get What You Deserve” can be seen and heard via its premiere on IDIOTEQ HERE.

Nihilist Death Cult‘s album “Death To All Tyrants” is due out on December 2, 2022.

Canada’s All Else Fails recently unleashed their EP “The Incident at Black Lake”, one of the darkest records they’ve ever written, it comes from a place of despair and torment as vocalist/guitarist Barrett Klesko battled with his inner demons. The music video for the latest single “Devour The Sun” ft. Seedy Mitchell (Sleepwraith, ex-All Else Fails) is an allegory about Klesko’s descent, rending the spaces between conscious suffering and unconscious turmoil. He explains the track in more detail:

“A child from a beautiful nameless place travels across existence. It was born in warmth and life, from an engine of creation, and its only need is to share who it is with whatever it comes in contact with. The child drifts, older now, and comfortable at first to be pulled along by the forces around it, buffeted across the ether, fulfilled by the simple act of experience. Over time, however, discontent begins to grow. Who was it? There must be a purpose beyond drifting endlessly in the black. Its questions turn to screams and cries in the heavens, but the black has no answers. Eventually, devoid of solace, its voice becomes quiet and its mind despondent. Musically this song follows an unconventional narrative. It ebbs and flows, thrash riffs turn to piano-esque clean parts. Soaring melodies devolve into full-bodied guttural torment before becoming ethereal whispers.”

“Devour the Sun” is about losing one’s purpose, becoming adrift and formless, buffeted by the uncontrollable winds of the common world, and unable to find solid footing. It is being swept into the wild, so far from one’s roots that they are barely a twinge of traumatic memory in the maw of the unknown. It is loud, it is quiet. It follows its own unusual structure while pulling the listener along its flow.

On this new EP, All Else Fails wrote until they felt that this selection of songs was complete, and then went into the studio. It’s much more personal lyrically, more direct, and in our current era, more relatable. There is a lot of chaotic energy in the recording, but they have placed every distorted chug, every strange gurgle, detuned synth, erratic glitch, or doom-inducing bass drop carefully.

Recommended for fans of Revocation, Soilwork, and Fleshgod Apocalypse, the music video for “Devour The Sun” can be seen and heard via its premiere on NewFuryMedia HERE.

“The Incident at Black Lake” is available at Allelsefails.bandcamp.com, Spotify, Apple Music.

About:

Over the last 15 years, Edmonton, Alberta based award-winning metal band All Else Fails has become a cornerstone of the melodic heavy metal community in Canada. Combining intense riffs, intricate rhythm sections, brutal guttural screams, and melodic yet unusual vocal lines paired with relevant and relatable lyrics, All Else Fails’ message resonates with us all.

Formed in 2006 with the release of their self-titled EP, All Else Fails has gone on to release 9 studio albums, many of which have garnered awards and nominations from across the Canadian music industry and have propelled the band into live performances all over the world, including their massively successful tour of India in 2017.

For the past two years, the band has been hard at work writing their new album “The Incident at Black Lake.” A deeply personal, brutally honest, and staggeringly complex take on the reality-bending mental struggles of vocalist and founder, Barrett Klesko (The Misfires, The Order of Chaos). The band is filled out by guitarist John Saturley (The Order of Chaos, Skepsis), bassist and vocalist Coco Lee (Eternal Prophecy), and drummer Nelson Collins-Lee (The 21st Agenda, Skepsis). The album is produced by Bevin Booth of In the Booth Recordings and engineered at The Electric Treehouse in Edmonton, Alberta.

In 2022, the band is returning to their DIY roots by mindfully abandoning their social media and redirecting their energy to contributing to their local metal scene by building a direct personal connection to their fans and followers, living in line with a humanist philosophy and encouraging a culture of support between artists. All Else Fails’ new single “Flesh /Excess /Wealth” drops in early September with the full EP “The Incident at Black Lake” releasing September 30th. Fans can experience their explosive new live show this fall in Western Canada.

“Celestial Wisdom” Out December 2nd

Lingering in the unknown regions of the galaxy for many years, Pennsylvania’s Vis Mystica has returned to known space to unleash an onslaught of music that has not been seen for a thousand generations: Jedi Metal! Influenced heavily by power metal, but also partly by thrash, black, and death metal bands, Vis Mystica offers escapism from everyday life and transportation into a fantastical world of magical powers and epic stories through their debut EP “Celestial Wisdom” and the most recent single “Legacy of the Builders” featuring David Michael Moote of Operus and Ty Christian of Lords of the Trident. They explain the track:

“Builders is a more cynical track that introduces our villains; the brutal Rakatan Empire. This song outlines the arrogance of this race and their quest for not only dominance, but their desire to be truly immortal and have a galaxy of slaves to build monuments to their glory and dominance.”

Listen to “Legacy of the Builders” featuring David Michael Moote of Operus and Ty Christian of Lords of the Trident at https://youtu.be/ooSura09t2g

Vis Mystica was initially formed by Connor McCray, in late 2015 as a creative outlet to pursue his passion for symphonic power metal. It took nearly five years for the band to get off the ground but now it’s gained massive momentum with no signs of slowing down. Despite having 15-20 songs on the backburner for future albums McCray wanted to challenge himself by creating all new music over the course of 4-5 months for this EP to test his own ability to make music in a timely manner. Fans can expect a massive amount of new music over the coming years; McCray suggests, as he has ideas for several albums to come already and these will only grow stronger with time.

Along with a love for bands such as Rhapsody, Blind Guardian, and Twilight Force McCray also incorporates his passion for fantasy and science fiction films, books, and comics; namely Dark Horse Comics’ series Star Wars: Dawn of the Jedi.

Epic and technical, Vis Mystica is recommended for Star Wars fans and those who like Blind Guardian, Iron Maiden, and Bal-Sagoth. They also have a crowdfunding campaign set up for the EP.

“Vis Mystica is a very interesting power metal band from Pennsylvania. Listening to this group is like finding an oasis in the middle of the driest desert. Although one of its main characteristics is that its music is based on the Star Wars universe, it is fair to say that its music shines by itself and it is not for less, since its influences are not found in its local scene, not even in its country.” – Metal-Rules.com

“Offering escapism from everyday life, Vis Mystica transports listeners into a fantastical world of magical powers and epic stories with their Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic inspired Power Metal. Along with taking great influence from other bands, they possess a style that is unique and holds its own in the power metal landscape.” – Bloodynews.ro

Montreal, QC – November 15, 2022

Rockshots Records – HIGHWAY QUEEN Shares Music Video “Get On Your Knees” Off New Album “Bitter Soul” Out Dec 2022

New Album “Bitter Soul” Out December 16th

Rockshots Records will be releasing Finnish rockers Highway Queen‘s debut full-length “Bitter Soul” this coming December. The album is a collection of rock and metal songs with beautiful melodies, and strong riffs with heavy drums and bass. Each song shows the listener the stylistic versatility of the band.

Today, the band presents their second single “Getting On Your Knees” accompanied by a music video. The track is classic heavy metal to tell a story about revenge against someone who has betrayed you badly.

Songs on Highway Queen‘s new album “Bitter Soul” are all about scenarios in one’s life. The lyrics tell stories about gnawing the burden of shame, anger, and bitterness. They also talk about the burden that carries through generations. They are about people’s weaknesses too. The stories are also about overcoming these challenges.

“From our first self-releases and singles with Inverse Records to this album, our sound is definitely going from a lighter to heavier direction. Every song has its own mood so feeling vary throughout the album. There are parts in the album with bluesy vibes to parts that have strong doom or even thrash vibes. It all blends together with a touch of 80’s style. Every song on the record has its own mood.” adds the band.

Highway Queen is a band that plays melodic hard rock with some metal influences. The band was founded at the end of 2019 by vocalist Virpi Kääriäinen, guitarist Teemu, Kääriäinen and drummer Henri Backman. All members have played in cover band projects in the past and decided it was time to start making their own creations.

In 2020, the band self-released four singles on digital platforms. Also in 2020, the band acquired bassist Petri Orava and they recorded more songs to be released. In 2021, the band signed with Finnish record label Inverse Records for releasing three singles and a music video. The songs had a great reception, and the band continued moving forward to start working on their first album. All Highway Queen songs are recorded with Aleksanteri Kuosa, so he was a natural choice to be the producer for the full-length. He has also worked with bands like Waltari and Before The Dawn.

Highway Queen is recommended for fans of melodic hard rock, heavy rock, and NWOTHM.

“Bitter Soul” is due out on December 16th and available for pre-order at https://bit.ly/BitterSoulCD

Vancouver, Canada’s Opus Arise (ft. members of Svneatr, Thousand Arrows, Ysgaroth) is an orchestral metal ensemble that brings together classical strings and metal rhythms to create luscious soundscapes to dissonant chaos. They are about to drop their second album this winter, entitled “The Network”, which will send listeners headfirst into a cyberpunk world where frequencies and chord progressions are believed to be catalysts for time travel. Although there are no lyrics, the theme is easy to pick up on, as the tension, the relief, and the drama of the story are within. The second single to be bestowed upon listeners is “Reminiscence”, where the album departs from the chaotic nature of the cyberpunk city into nature. It starts with a chamber-esque intro that leads to progressive grooves and ultimately back to the dark nature of the album. The band comments on the album:

“After many years that seemed like forever, we’re extremely excited to release our follow-up “The Network”. Thanks to the experience and wisdom of Maor Appelbaum, we’re very stoked that we brought the album to what it needed to be after much trial and error. We hope everyone will enjoy this journey through this Cyberpunk-inspired world!”

Compared to their previous album “Revelation” (2016), their compositions have become less metal driven and they have grown the string section from a trio to a quintet and are planning to incorporate more orchestral instruments. The nine members play guitar, cello, drums, keyboards, violin, viola, bass, and contrabass on eight tracks that clock in at just over forty minutes. They plunge the listener into a wild and intricate world that is easy to interpret and get lost in.

Opus Arise’s instrumental music is inspired by life experiences, classical symphonies, and movie and video game soundtracks. It is recommended for fans of The Black Mages, Liquid Tension Experiment, and Powerglove.

The music video for “Reminiscence” can be seen and heard via its premiere on Bravewords HERE.

Vancouver’s HUNTING GIANTS’ New Video “King of Ashes” Harnesses The Vigor of NIN and King Crimson For An Epic Industrial Ballad

New Album “Mythos” Out Now!

Canada’s Hunting Giants are offering up their next video “King of Ashes” in support of their latest album “Mythos” released this past September. The album’s closer is an epic industrial ballad that is reminiscent of both Nine-Inch-Nails and King Crimson. The vocals ponder on the futility of victory at all costs as the percussion and instruments chase each other in polyrhythmic complementation. A constant yet subtle feedback loop heightens the vocals until they crescendo in a final lament, “Oh, to be the King of Ashes.” In finality, the album comes to a close and fades out with the ringing of a gong.

Watch and listen to “King of Ashes” via its premiere on TheProgSpace HERE.

“Mythos” is the crowning achievement of Hunting Giants‘ many years of musical work, writing and recording while gigging and enduring quarantine as a band during the Covid pandemic. The members of Hunting Giants all came from, and are inspired by, progressive rock and metal bands where songs would often pass the ten-minute mark. However, they desired to keep their own music concise and to the point, intentionally lacking much of the excess material that so often padded run-times of songs in the progressive rock-metal genre. Simple and clean lines are given priority over complicated abstractions that only challenge the player in an athletic way, provided that it serves the music.

Hunting Giants is confident that new listeners, as well as those familiar with them through their previous release “Skyward Eyes”, will find an accomplished intensity and listenability in “Mythos”, which represents their musical growth and evolution. Each of the thirteen songs was specially picked for the album to contribute to the overarching story in a theatrical and energetic manner. With riffs that will inspire and lyrics that will mystify.

“This album is musically very diverse as it ranges from intense white-knuckled metal tracks, down to gentle instrumental tracks peppered with melodic piano and haunting cello, all the way to epic ballads tastefully complimented by choirs, strings, and bells. Mythos lyrically explores archetypes, both heroic and villainous, that affect the world around us, as well as the inevitable fates which arise when these values are heinously held and expressed.” adds the band.

Hunting Giants is recommended for those who enjoy a 90s vibe and progressive elements, especially fans of Alice In Chains, Soundgarden, Tool, and Audioslave.

“Mythos” is available on CD and digital at the following links:

About:

This unique group of musicians offers a spectacular visuals-driven live performance that exceeds both the precise ferocity of their recordings and the highest expectations of an energized audience looking for something recognizably different. Their music is both refreshing and familiar, serving well as the musical backdrop for one’s ongoing discovery of meaning in life and self.

Hunting Giants was started in 2017 with Bradley Trivett assembling the first musical themes and combining the percussive expertise of Daniel Beavington with the explosive rhythmic prowess of Corey J. Wharton into the foundation of a team set to discover and dominate the most enormous sounds and daunting massive ideas they could find. Led by the visionary passion and styling of frontman Stephen Atkey, Hunting Giants is poised to deliver an incredible auditory and visual experience.

“A glorious adventure is about to begin, starting right here today! Heavy metallers Hunting Giants are debuting their brand new music video for “Rituals,” the first single from their upcoming album Mythos. The song indicates the zeal and the ambition that the band is bringing towards this new record, due for release on September 30th. The “Rituals” video matches the flat-out intensity of the song, one that discusses necromancy and the harshness of hatred and shame.” – V13

“It’s not often that a band is described as ‘a blend of modern hard rock, progressive rock/metal and grunge influences,’ but that is indeed a fitting description of Vancouver’s Hunting Giants” – Bravewords

“Let me say this first, HUNTING GIANTS from Vancouver are REALLY freaking good. These guys are relatively new but they are tighter and more accomplished man many veteran bands.” – Rock You Show

“This is an album (Mythos) that you’ll want to wander through thanks to their technical proficiency and the production value.” – Metal Roos

“a solid listen, and a fairly unique combination of a few different styles. It’s mostly heavy enough for Metal fans, and mostly melodic enough for fans like myself who appreciate a good hook.” – Metal Temple
