What the press is saying:
“I can highly recommend this to anyone who yearns for that ‘old school’ vibe that seems to be so highly sought after. Krvsade nail what it takes to be an old school blackened thrash act in the 21st century by sticking true to tried and tested traits, but by expanding their sound into more sludgy territory at the same time…damn good, solid, thrashing fun time.” – The Metal Observer

“The opening title track is a fine example of what the Krvsade are about, old school Sepultura, Death or even Morbid Angel style guitar work and recording esthetics, pulverising kit work from Dennis and demonic vocals from Evans. You can just picture Evans eyes lit up electric blue as he spits fire from his mouth and shoots lighting bolts from his palms.” – Metal Noise

“Krvsade stand poised to seize the rusty metal crown of the Queen City, as there is a conscious malignancy lurking in the depths of their songwriting, waiting to rear its hideous head.” – Exclaim

“full of bangers!” – Ghost Cult Magazine

“Listen to it until your ears bleed, and then listen to it again.” – ROXX100.com

“A giant dose of talent in this Ep; a sinister environment enhanced by a well balanced rhythm section, a great structure and an inspired solo in JUDGEMENT DAY. KEEP IN THE CHURCH is more squared with deep vocals and great changes of time. Not least next THE KEY AND THE GATE. A band to keep an eye on! Interesting!” – Hardrockheavymetal

“Made up of only 3 songs, the EP starts off with a bang, combining thrash and death metal in a powerful title track that can be easily pictured as the soundtrack for a savage moshpit.” – Metal Blast

“Krvsade from North Carolina, USA, drop this brutal 3 x track EP and my lord does it pack a punch, and for £2.97 from Amazon, it’s worth every penny… very imaginative riffing going on and plenty to remember.” 5/5 – PlanetMosh

“Krvsade slam out some awesome old school death/thrash metal on their new EP Judgment Day. These three songs are what just what the metal doctor ordered full of anger, aggression and powerful lyrics. Great evil vocals that slash through awesome guitar riffs that are both fast and heavy.” – The Dirty Room

“If you like it heavy and dark, I believe you will like this one. This slashin’ thrashin’ journey is built on a foundation of some very powerful drum work with amazing guitar accents sprinkled throughout. The vocals are what nightmares are made of, and I mean that in a complimentary manner… I strongly recommend checking out this Death/Thrash Metal combo, it works for me.” – Boston Rock Radio

“For my money, thrash with a heavy dose of death metal has always been more fertile ground for bands looking to make their mark after the genre’s 80s heyday. Charlotte’s Krvsade is clearly of the same opinion. Their second EP, Judgement [sic] Day is a promising, if overly brief, show of force from a band still finding their footing in today’s metal scene.” – Toilet ov Hell

“Krvsade is firing on all cylinders and boasting some changes, they really have developed an impressive sound.” – Crannk

Charlotte’s Krvsade will be releasing their new EP “Judgement Day” this Friday, January 31, 2020. Before it officially drops, the band has teamed up with GhostCultMag for the EP’s exclusive full stream HERE.

Krvsade has come a long way from their 2017 debut EP “Militum Infernum” and they are excited to show off this stark contrast to the previous material to fans. Comparing the new release to their previous one, the band states:

“This EP is definitely a change compared to ‘Militum Infernum’. Whereas Militum was more raw and pure in your face, ‘Judgement Day’ has some twists and turns. The playing is better and I think fans will appreciate a band that’s firing on all cylinders and not holding anything back. It’s a good example of the rebirth of this band. Our sound evolving from the rawness it previously was. More mature and progressive. It’s a fun ride from start to finish.” says vocalist/guitarist Andre Evans.

New, refreshed and boasting some line-up changes, Krvsade is here to stay. “Judgement Day” is coming and it’s going to be an exciting, aggressive ride for everyone. The EP as a whole is just an appetizer for the main course which is to come.

Fans of Slayer, old school Sepultura, Kreator, and Morbid Angel should keep an eye on these guys.

About:

Released from the depths in 2015, Krvsade is a mind-shattering thrash assault destined to conquer stages across the nation and the world. A new blend of extreme metal from Charlotte, USA, Krvsade incorporates death and black metal into the thrash equation, resulting in an original, brutal sound.

The four members of Krvsade work together to refine each melodic track, starting with Andre Evans (guitar/vocals) defining the skeleton of the song with riff ideas and the occasional chorus. The framework is sent to Keegan Dennis (drums) to flesh out a solid foundation and once that is done, it passes to Arthur Reid (guitar) and Jeb Laird (bass) for final attunement. Lyrical themes encompass anything from the end of days to religion and real-life events.

Having shared the stage with the likes of Inquisition, Nervosa, and Uada, Krvsade is first and foremost a live band. With seasoned musicians comprising the line-up, a live gig from Krvsade is intense and interactive. Raw and in the moment, it’s not a numb, over choreographed school play. This is real, in your face, fast and angry metal; a full set of four dudes losing their minds. The way it should be.

Krvsade released their debut offering ‘Militum Infernum’ in 2017, featuring the first three songs they ever wrote as a band. Growth and evolution are apparent in the newest recording, ‘Judgment Day’ EP arriving in January 2020. According to the band, this latest 3 track record is only an appetizer for the full course that is coming soon.

Formed in 2016 by guitar players Riccardo D’Angelo and Roberto Simonetti, CHRONICLES OF HATE was raised from the depths of hell with the clear purpose of blending the solid impact of traditional death metal with grooving vibes. Their lyrics are inspired by real events that feed the anger and strong emotions that occur in our daily lives. Influenced by the old school pioneers of the genre such as At The Gates, In Flames, Death, their debut “The Birth of Hate” is a personal interpretation of the tendencies from both old and modern metal.

The band adds about the full length and single:

“The title track off the album, ‘The Birth of Hate’ is inspired by Swedish death metal. It talks about the effects of a catastrophic event and politic corruption. When human values are forgotten, hate takes place. The album itself is our first creation and is the beginning of our adventure. It’s a journey through the facets of the anger and motivations that feed it. This album talks about strong emotions and the breaking point from which you cannot go back. We mix different elements of metal for this release, you will find breakdowns, and you will find fast death metal riffs along with intentional melodic parts to give it our own personal sound.”

Charlotte’s Krvsade is ready to unleash their new EP “Judgement Day” on January 31, 2020 with the single ‘Keep It In The Church’ in anticipation of the next installment of the North Carolina’s thrash metal fury.

They have come along way from their 2017 debut EP “Militum Infernum” and Krvsade is excited to show off this stark contrast to the previous material to fans. Comparing the new release to their previous one, the band states:

New, refreshed and boasting some line-up changes, Krvsade is here to stay. “Judgement Day” is coming and it’s going to be an exciting, aggressive ride for everyone. The single ‘Keep It In The Church’ marks the start of a new era for the group and the EP as a whole is just an appetizer for the main course which is to come. When asked about the new single, Krvsade responds:

“This song is calling out people that use religion as an excuse to treat others poorly. Living in the south you see a lot of people think they have a better opinion or know your life and get to give you advice because of that. Fast and thrashing with a catchy chorus the song has a lot to say and hopefully, anyone going through similar troubles knows they aren’t alone.”

Bio:

Cell is a three-piece conceptual black metal band that formed in 2014 reigning from Winnipeg, Canada. They blend elements of old school and modern black metal with hints of death metal, hardcore, thrash, and doom to create reality-altering unrelenting cosmic black metal. Their concept is based on a science fiction comic book idea that Hyperion (guitar/vocals) was working to bring to life, but decided instead to turn into music.

Each song starts with Hyperion taking the reins by writing the song structure, riffs, and lyrics; Deimos (bass/vocals) and Hypnos (drums) adding in their preferences for riffs, lyrics and other such things to alter the songs for the better. There is a lot of cathartic emotion put into each song that connects to each member on a personal level while keeping within the dark sci-fi concept and using metaphors of what we as humans do to this planet and the life on it.

Using these topics, it’s easy for Cell to let everything out on stage every during every performance. They use a lot of art and theatre within the live show including using corpse paint, blood, armor, pro audio lights, and lasers. To see our show is to experience something emotional, aggressive, theatrical and cosmic.

Cell has toured across Canada multiple times and have been featured on several festivals including Black Mourning Light, Loud As Hell Metalfest, Armstrong Metalfest and Manitoba Metalfest sharing the stage with the likes of Skeletonwitch, Goatwhore, DRI, Revocation, and Aggression. They released their debut album ‘The Frozen Moon Of Erebath’ in 2016 and follow it up in 2019 with ‘Ancient Incantations Of Xarbos’.

There are a few side stories within the album that trail off but still, stay within the main story.”

Following in the footsteps of classic bands like Emperor, Death, Morbid Angel, and Immortal, CELL have become weavers of the arcane adding a theatrical stage show to their modern take on black metal. The single ‘The Wailing Sea Of Emptiness’ is a prime launching pad to travel through Xarbos on this audio journey. Cell explains the story of the track:

“This song is about the lower race crossing the wailing sea to get to the valley of Assimilation. Within the valley, there is a wormhole that can transport any being to the realm of the Frost King. Long ago before the higher race started taking over, everyone was in harmony and lived together as one. Over the years fewer people believed in the gods of the old world and the
god of gods grew tired of this and trapped all the souls of non-believers”

‘The Wailing Sea Of Emptiness’ can be experienced via its premiere on Anti Christ Magazine HERE.

NEWS RELEASE

Montreal, QC – August 20, 2019

For fans of Emperor, Death, Morbid Angel, Immortal, Goatwhore

Winnipeg Cosmic Black Metal CELL Unleash ‘God of The NetherRealm’ Off Upcoming Album Out October 2019

New Album ‘Ancient Incantations Of Xarbos’ Out October 4th

CELL, Canada’s three-piece conceptual cosmic black metal outfit are releasing a new album ‘Ancient Incantations Of Xarbos’ to follow up their first album ‘The Frozen Moon Of Erebath’ (2016) on October 4, 2019.

With major influences coming from Emperor, Death, Morbid Angel, and Immortal, CELL takes familiar black metal sounds and infuses it with a science fiction theme that spans their albums.

Each track on ‘Ancient Incantations Of Xarbos’ has its own story on the album that leads to one big ending which is the decimation of the Xarbonite hierarchy. Fueled with tales of tech, black magic, and necromancy the album is cosmic ride with pummeling riffs. CELL talks about some of the concepts on the album:

“The whole album takes place on a planet called Xarbos. There is a great civil war that has been happening on Xarbos for the few millennia since the two races divided and chose to take different paths with their ways of life. One race chose to rise with power, tech, money and also started the destruction of the other race to achieve their evil agenda. The lower race is actually the oldest of Xarbos and knows the ways of the land and its magic.”

The single ‘God of The NetherRealm’ has special significance to CELL as Hyperion explains:

“This song was written for my friend Chad Alsop of the great band Dead Ranch. He passed away in June 2017 and it devastated me and many friends within our music scene in Winnipeg. He was a big push for CELL and inspired us to go harder every day and every show. In this song, his soul travels to the NetherRealm and he encounters the one who sits on the throne there. He then goes forward and challenges the god of the NetherRealm to combat and wins. When one dethrones the god of this realm, they now have to take the mantle and rule.”

‘God of The NetherRealm’ can be heard exclusively at the following link on NoCleanSinging.com here.

HELLNITE Announces Western Canadian Tour For Haunting Album “Midnight Terrors” (Sliptrick Records)

HELLNITE – Midnight Terrors Western Canadian Tour:
June – 21 – Edmonton, AB – Rendezvous

June 25 – Kelowna, BC – Munnin’s Post
June 28 – Vancouver, BC – The Biltmore Cabaret

Thrashers HELLNITE are proud to announce they will be embarking on their first ever Western Canadian tour since band founder Paolo Belmar relocated himself and the band to Edmonton, AB from Mexico City. While setting up the band again in Canada, Belmar was backed by Canadian musicians, but for this tour, he will be joined by original bassist Luis “Chaps” Mora and drummer Mauricio Salas for the road adventures through the Canadian Rockies and Prairies. The six-date “Midnight Terrors Western Canadian Tour”, which is in support of the same titled album the band released earlier this via Sliptrick Records, will be kicking off in Edmonton on June 21st and ending on July 5th in Regina.

Each member had this to say about their first venture touring Canada.

Paolo: “I’m excited in general, not sure what to expect but I’m sure we’ll do our best. This is our first tour out of Mexico and having my old pals with me again makes me feel confident and I know we will have fun playing together as a band rather than just do it because I already started this and I have to finish it (as I was doing when the album was released), it feels really good to have the original lineup together again.”

Chaps: “I’m excited because it was a long time without playing with my best friends and doing this project together. We will put our whole hearts to make you feel the power of a Mexican Metal band.”

Mauricio: “To be honest, I’m nervous because it’s my first time playing in Canada but I’m pretty sure that every single night of the tour will be a night to remember! So, be prepared to feel the Mexican power!”

HELLNITE‘s debut release “Midnight Terrors” is lyrically a paranormal and sci-fi themed concept album with influences from classic heroes such as Kreator, Slayer, Death along with next-generation thrash and heavy metal such as Havok, Skull Fist. The album was written and recorded by founding member, vocalist, and guitarist Paolo Belmar who formed HELLNITE originally in Mexico City in 2010 and has now re-established the band Edmonton, Canada.

The album is available from Sliptrick Records here (CD) along with stream and download on iTunes, Spotify, and all major online retailers.

“Hellnite does it right and it’s so damn good. Midnight Terrors is a thrilling listen. An old-school thrash record. Nine tracks of hard-hitting metal with a bucket-load of head-banging riffs, evil sounding vocals, and crunchy drum beats. From the circle pit mayhem of Phantom Force to the galloping rhythm of Spirits Prevail and the super hot guitar work of Beasts from the Deep, the first half of the album is banger after banger. ” – Games, Brrraaains & A Head-Banging Life

“There is some top-notch riffing happening on Midnight Terrors.” – The Metal-Observer

“The guitar work is a ride that ascends and descends impressively. ” – Boston Rock radio

“a hybrid meshing of classic thrash and modern interpretation a welcome offering.” – The Metal Channel

“This is an album that can’t be missed or overlooked so go and get it. Hellnite has reassured the world that heavy metal will never die. Enough said, now get it and crank it up!” – The Dirty Room
