Blast Beats Unleashed INSECT INSIDE Posts Drum Carnage w/ Playthrough “Hiveborn Abomination”

New Album “Reborn in Blight” Out March 2026 via Gore House Productions

Gore House Productions has released a brand‑new drum playthrough for “Hiveborn Abomination” from brutal death metal unit Insect Inside, showcasing drummer Daniel Sementsov performing the track with the band’s signature blend of precision, speed, and crushing heaviness. The video arrives in the lead-up to the band’s highly anticipated new album, “Reborn in Blight,” set for release on March 6, 2026.

The playthrough offers an up‑close look at Sementsov’s blistering technique, capturing the relentless blast beats, punishing double‑kick work, and intricate rhythmic shifts that define Insect Inside’s sound. Shot in a clean, focused studio setting, the video highlights the physical intensity and technical mastery behind the band’s latest material.

Emerging from Chelyabinsk’s underground scene, Insect Inside have carved a reputation for their tight, aggressive sound, an unholy fusion of groove‑heavy slam and oppressive atmospherics. “Reborn in Blight” marks the band’s second full‑length album and showcases a shift toward a rawer, more visceral tone. Lyrically, the record continues their apocalyptic narrative, chronicling humanity’s collapse and the rise of an insectoid race.

The album unfolds as a relentless journey through death metal’s most punishing elements. Fragments erupts with chaotic groove and sinister atmosphere, distilling the band’s love for the genre into a concentrated assault. At the album’s core lies “Hiveborn Abomination,” elevated by Defeated Sanity vocalist Josh Welshman’s ferocious guest performance and serving as one of the band’s most commanding creations to date. “Carnal Ruins” pays homage to the New York death metal tradition with a hardcore‑infused, groove‑driven tribute to pioneers like Soils of Fate, Internal Bleeding, and Dying Fetus. The brutality continues with “Abhorrent Landscape,” featuring Mr. Ochoa of Cephalotripsy, whose gutturals reinforce the album’s slam‑heavy foundation. Meanwhile, “Echoes of the Swallowed Sinners” plunges into the darkest lyrical territory, exploring the abyss of humanity’s disfigured souls. The album closes with its towering title track, “Reborn in Blight,” weaving groove, speed, and soaring guitar solos into a monolithic finale.

Formed from a shared obsession with slamming brutality, Insect Inside began as friends jamming covers before evolving into a full‑fledged force within the brutal death metal realm. Their lineup features seasoned Eastern European veterans: Bogdan (bass – Cold Blooded Murder, Traumatomy), Pavel (guitar – Ocean In My Bath), Daniel (vocals – Nauseating, Morphogenetic Malformation), and Ivan (drums – Nauseating). Writing collaboratively across different cities, the band crafts a sound that is both meticulously constructed and relentlessly heavy. Onstage, they are notorious for chaotic, high‑energy performances filled with mosh pits, slams, and even fans dressed as dinosaurs.

Drawing influence from brutal death and black metal, Insect Inside cite Disentomb, Relics of Humanity, Cryptopsy, Defeated Sanity, and Vulvectomy among their top inspirations. The album’s artwork mirrors the music’s grotesque vision, gloom‑soaked, apocalyptic, and steeped in visceral disgust.

“Reborn in Blight” will be available March 6, 2026, via Gore House Productions.

“From the Russian city of Zlatoust which overlooks the river Ay, famed for its creation of swords and sabres, beautiful instruments of death, comes the decimating sonic assault of Insect Inside. Lured into the web of Gore House Productions, Insect Inside are now primed to unleash the fear infused death metal of The First Shining Of New Genus on an unsuspecting world… An intro with some impact, the squelch of footsteps through what sounds like a swamp, leading to the cries of some poor victim sets the stage for Insect Inside’s The First Shining of New Genus. Focus on the filth, because that is what this band deliver in spates across nine rough and tough death metal tracks.” – Games, Brrraaains & A Head-Banging Life

“Insect Inside relies on unpredictability to elevate beyond the brutal stereotype. Shifting tempos, groovy rhythms, technical leads, pinch harmonics, and flashes of dissonance keep its grinding slams and beatdown sections from growing too stagnant… Insect Inside’s The First Shining of New Genus offers concussive slam that will get you buzzing.” – Angry Metal Guy

“A surprisingly level of hookiness invades Insect Inside, while they still deliver on all of the body-crippling violence you would expect from such an act. The First Shining of New Genus is a release that you can groove along with in addition to getting your daily dose of utter brutality.” – Dead Rhetoric

Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada, melodic death metal band Outlying will release their long-awaited new album “Oblivisci” on November 21st. A visceral and uncompromising work, the record blends aggression, melody, and raw emotion into a cohesive listening experience that fans will find impossible to ignore.

Formed in 2003 by high school friends jamming covers, Outlying has evolved through lineup changes and years of musical exploration into a band committed to creating music that is both powerful and accessible. Frontman Fred Dubeau, the band’s primary songwriter, sought to move beyond “music for musicians” and instead craft songs that resonate viscerally with listeners. The result is a sound described in five words: captivating, dark, aggressive, melodic metal.

The album’s title, “Oblivisci”, Latin for “to forget”, reflects themes of withdrawal, alienation, and the struggle to escape trauma. Across eleven tracks, the band explores grief, loneliness, disenfranchisement, and addiction, culminating in a three-part epic that chronicles frontman Dubeau’s personal battle with alcohol and drug dependency. Now sober, Dubeau channels those experiences into music that is both cathartic and brutally honest.

“It is a great pleasure for us after all this time and a very difficult process to introduce the world to our newest effort, Oblivisci. We are glad to be musicians who are somehow different from most other bands in our environment, and strive to make music that is expressive, dark, heavy, and brings the listener through many different kinds of atmospheres and vibes. We try to avoid trends and gimmicks, and create something that comes from our diverse musical influences, different backgrounds and lives, and many other forms of art such as movies, books, or video games. While staying true to what Outlying always was, we always try to step up our game and improve our sound and musical connection with our audience. Despite being more often than not called a melodic death metal band, the band absorbs influences from thrash, black, prog, and also 70s, 80s, and 90s rock. In a world of thousands of forgettable songs, we hope to find our way into the hearts of many metal enthusiasts locally and around the world,” says the band.

Musically, “Oblivisci” strikes a balance between relentless, heavy riffing and soaring melodic passages, enriched by clean vocal textures and dynamic arrangements. With Outlying, the band steers clear of unnecessary complexity, instead crafting songs that prioritize emotion and impact. While echoes of their influences, At The Gates, Testament, Cradle of Filth, In Flames, and Wintersun, are present, Outlying’s sound stands apart as distinct and refined, heavier yet more melodic than ever before.

The record begins with The Raven Is Gone, a blistering and epic opener that channels the urgency of escaping chaos in search of refuge. Stigma follows, rooted in old‑school melodic death metal, confronting themes of societal judgment and subcultural rejection. The atmosphere turns chilling with Snow, a haunting narrative of abuse elevated by female vocals and an expansive, epic structure. The descent continues in Pitch Black Serum, a dark and unsettling track that delves into defeatism and indulgence in fleeting pleasures. Sentinel then emerges as a poignant power ballad, weaving clean vocals with an aggressive bridge to capture grief and memory. Closing the album, the three‑part suite Dreamless Nights I–III delivers a sweeping chronicle of addiction, false escape, and painful aftermath, culminating in a climactic, melodic finale that leaves a powerful and lasting impression.

The album artwork depicts a post-apocalyptic version of the band’s home city, visually reinforcing the themes of decay, alienation, and survival that permeate the record. It mirrors the music’s balance of heaviness and melody, offering listeners a complete aesthetic experience.

With “Oblivisci,” Outlying has crafted a “no skipped tracks” album; every song matters, every riff and lyric carries weight. The band hopes to continue releasing music consistently, exploring new directions while staying true to their core sound.

Listen to the album in full via its stream premiere on Bravewords HERE.

Available on all digital platforms on November 21st, 2025.

“Outlying pull together ingredients of thrash, melodic death metal, and black metal to create music that’s blood-rushing and muscle-flexing, and the panoply of changing riffs is very damned infectious too.” – No Clean Singing

“In the shadow of Quebec’s steel-forged skies, Outlying emerges once again with The Raven Is Gone — a melodic death metal masterstroke that’s equal parts chaos and catharsis… The Raven Is Gone is not just a song — it’s a statement. A declaration that melodic death metal is alive, vital, and pulsing through Canada’s veins. Outlying have evolved into something rare: a band that remembers what heavy music was meant to do — confront, release, and transcend.” – See Rock Live Magazine

“Melodic death metal band Outlying released their new single Pitch-Black Serum on November 16th. The song’s biting energy and unrelenting fervor hits with an uncommon ferocity while being dynamic…” – Din Intunerec

“Outlying offers a solid Swedish-style melodic death metal sound with their own personal touch.” – MetalUniverse.net

“With a biting energy and a relentless intensity, [Pitch-Black Serum] hits with an uncommon ferocity while keeping a dynamic, melodic and catchy structure.” – MetalUniverse.net

“I had never heard of this band before, so I was all the more amazed by the high level of performance the band had already achieved in 2012 [Scars Of Daylight album]. They are reminiscent of Scandinavian melodic death metal bands of the late 1990s.” – Ammo-underground.at

“The three gentlemen serve us finely spun melodies; the musicians tie everything together into a flowing, detailed unity. A bit of clean vocals are sprinkled in here and there, and so a lot happens in this largely whipping smasher. A few threatening vibes and thrashy, straight-ahead tactics are also effectively employed, as is polyphonic vocals – everything just fits! Raising fists, enjoying details, headbanging – it’s a mystery to me why these all-rounders are still so unknown!” – Ammo-underground.at

The metal world is now “Blood Bound” with the release of Hungary’s SIN OF GOD‘s fourth studio album from Exitus Stratagem Records. With influences in thrash, ODM, and blackened and progressive death metal, Sin of God‘s sacrificial offering “Blood Bound” will please both old and new-school death metal fans at the same time. This new full-length presents a collection of variations that exhibit brutality and softness. It is something fans have heard in the past from the band but it has never sounded like this.

“This album was a very painful and gory birth. Blood Bound was born bloodied and beaten. It was hurt by viruses, epidemics, wars, pollution, stupidity, irresponsibility, lies and deception. But finally, Blood Bound is here! Blood Bound is a mirror. Look into it! You will see the past, the present, and the future. Blood Bound is not a concept album, but it is united by the pain and rage that boils inside us. It reflects the best of our current knowledge. We wanted to write something simple and raw, conveying the message clearly but musically interesting, unique, and challenging. If you look at the album artwork, you’ll know exactly what to expect. Blood Bound is (life and) death metal at its finest, not for the faint of heart, that’s for sure!” adds the band.

Recommended for fans of Aborted, Bloodbath, Cattle Decapitation, Cryptopsy, and Psycroptic, Sin of God’s latest album “Blood Bound” is now available as of February 18, 2025, from Exitus Stratagem Records, and available at the following links:

“This isn’t just an all out sonic barrage, though. There are lulls where the “heavy” gets a chance to build before all Hell is once again let loose upon the listener. Lyrics are guttural and harsh, and the guitars have that classic deathmetal sawtooth edge to them. Sin of God manage to pack quite a few riffs in amongst the rapid-fire rhythms, and the drums are impressive. Maintaining a speedy double kick through most songs to keep you heart racing,” – The Moshville Times

““No Return” is an absolutely brutal death metal track, full of raging guitars and non-stop blast beats that create an intense and chaotic atmosphere for the whole song. The lyrics tackle addictive desires and how they can be all-consuming. At the same time, the rather disturbing lyric video sees the lyrics over a viscerally all-too-realistic image of angels and Jesus amongst devils in Hell. It’s all a classic death metal sound and imagery, and it gets really creepy.” – New Noise Magazine

“The upcoming Blood Bound by Sin of God is the fourth full release from the Hungarian Extreme Metal monsters and it is the best record they have ever fucking made. It is as brutal as having a stream roller run over you, slowly crushing every bone and muscle inside your body. It’s as vicious as being dressed in a meat suit while a pack of hungry, rabid dogs are set upon you. And it’s as heavy as having concrete poured down your throat, before your corpse is thrown into the deep, dark sea. It is, quite frankly, fucking brilliant…Let’s face it, Sin of God don’t fuck about and if you’re coming to Blood Bound expecting anything other than the most extreme of metal, then you’re gonna have a bad time and don’t let the door hit you on the way out. Blood Bound is a statement that Sin of God are making a claim for the Extreme Metal throne, and on the strength of this, it’s hard to see how anyone could possibly stop them.” – Black Metal Archive

“It is the sound of a machine gun that immediately kick-starts the album and it comes at you courtesy of all four musicians. It is instantly clear: Blood Bound is brutal, crushing black/death metal with no hint of mercy. The singer Tamás Schupkégel deploys two tones and uses two channels to disseminate his preachy and ominous augury. The guitar is sharp. The warm drum sound and the barrage of artillery that goes boom is probably the album’s highlight. The drummer loves his drum rolls and his blast beats and more power to him… Call yourself a fan of Aeon, Cryptopsy, God Among Insects or Pestilence? Exitus Stratagem has a CD for you! No wonder the cover art depicts a symphonic (so-called) ‘metal’ chick singer and her wimpy accolades. They are being assailed by Sin Of God and their actual metallic and symphonic music. ” – Metallian.com

“Hungarian Extreme Metal masters Sin Of God have signed with Exitus Stratagem Records and will present their new album, Blood Bound, next month. Something that will excite old and new-school Death Metal fans, this new album echoes brutality and softness and is a mark of the challenges faced since 2016’s Aenigmata.” – Metal Talk

“I tell you that if what you are looking for are really strong emotions, this is your album. The six strings are lethal and insidious in equal measure. They cut your throat the same with sharp attacks of tremolo picking, which chill your blood with riffs darker than Lucifer’s soul. The voices are angry and macabre at all times. Yes, they are even when they anecdotally decide to use narrated clean vocals. In general, there is no feeling of respite, neither in instruments nor in vocal cords. Percussion is very extremist. Fast is very fast, and so is resounding. The use of the double pedal deserves special mention. It is a submachine gun that never uses ammunition. Don’t miss the initial ‘Bloodbound‘ nor ‘No Return (From Hell)‘ and ‘The Unbelief‘. ¡What savagery for Odin!” – Broken Tomb Magazine

Exitus Stratagem Records announces their signing of Hungarian extreme metal masters SIN OF GOD for their fourth studio album “Blood Bound” out February 2025. Following their album “Aenigmata” released in 2016, “Blood Bound” has come a long way from its writing inception in 2019, and unfortunate setbacks with lineup changes and COVID to finally make its way to the studio in 2022/23 with the mixing and mastering done by the super-talented Sam Winslow in 2024.

With influences in thrash, ODM, and blackened and progressive death metal, Sin of God‘s next sacrificial offering will please both old and new-school death metal fans at the same time. This new full-length presents a collection of variations that exhibit brutality and softness. It is something fans have heard in the past from the band but it has never sounded like this.

“We all think fans will love it. It’s somewhat different from its predecessors. It’s more complex and based on modern death metal. We built Blood Bound musically on contrasts. There are amazingly fast parts (260 BPM,) but really slow parts as well.” adds guitarist Tamás Kis.

Exploring our present society, “Blood Bound” resonates with everything surrounding us, from the good and the bad to the beautiful and ugly, to life and death.

“We are in decline and we haven’t got much time before we hit the bottom. There is less and less beauty in our present world. We are rapidly marching towards the rotting chaos. People do nothing about it. They destroy but do not build. So let it be! As you look at our album artwork, it is metaphorically based on humanity’s current state in the light of human history. We wanted it to be realized in the style of Renaissance paintings therefore the contrast is extremely sharp between beauty and uglyness. Pure and evil. Perfect and deformed. There are also religious references, and Biblical characters, too.” says Kis.

“Blood Bound” is not a concept album, but it is united by the pain and rage that boils inside and felt over seven tracks that are simple and raw, yet ferocious and gentle. To give fans their first experience with the album, Sin of God is unveiling the first single “No Return” accompanied by an animated video. The song is about a person who cannot get rid of drugs and sacrifices everything is going to hell.

The band comments:

“No Return is our favorite song on Blood Bound. It is the essence of what we want to express musically and lyrically as well. The fall of our present society. That’s what it’s all about. Our vocalist Tamás Schupkégel wrote the lyrics. On first hearing it is about a drug addict descending into madness, falling into his very own hell which he created from the many pains he experienced and committed towards others during his life. We consume, we devour, we destroy. We create non-existent problems for ourselves while not dealing with the real ones. It’s so comfortable. Sticking our heads in the sand. Only our comfort is important. We are addicted to our ego. While the trees and waters disappear and only the sand remains. The emptiness. The loneliness. The pain. We build our hell. And there is no return!”

“The record is just killer, full of menacing death metal that doesn’t lean too hard into the old- or new-school sound; think a crossbreed of Book of Black Earth, Deicide, and Fleshgod Apocalypse sans opera, and you’ll have some idea of what these guys are like. Modern death metal fans will love the band’s technicality and production, while classic headbangers will dig their atmosphere and badass riffs. Definitely get into them.” – Metalsucks (Aenigmata – 2016)

“Aenigmata is the band’s latest release, a merciless, destructive Death Metal album in its finest form. Inspired by the occult writings of Alchemy and the dissection of the faith in mankind, the album delivers much darkened and more ferocious sounds than the previous releases. Having a close kinship with bands like Morbid Angel, Immolation, Nile, Behemoth, Krisiun, Dead Congregation and the likes in terms of sonority, the opus is a perfect blending of unilluminated Traditional Death Metal & remorseless Brutal/Technical Death Metal. The 09 tracked album is likely to be embraced by the fans of OSDM & Dark Themed Technical Death Metal.” – Extreminal (Aenigmata – 2016)

“The Hungarians from Sinf Of God play high-energy death metal, and when their riffs hit our eardrums, you get the impression that Attila himself is leading the wild hordes, leaving behind fields of destruction strewn with the corpses of enemies.” – KVLT (Aenigmata – 2016)

“There’s very little to complain about “Aenigmata”, it sounds damn good, both from a musical and production perspective. The songs are varied and technical and it took a few spins for the record to settle but that normally is a good thing as it grows for each spin… it’s a solid Death Metal record and with this, I should go easily to it when digging out Brutal music.” – Metal Kaoz – (Aenigmata – 2016)

Backstabber, the groovy Canadian death metal force, returns after a long silence, with their latest EP “Patterns of Domination”, out now. Originating as a solo project in 2012, founder Christian Thériault turned Backstabber into a full-fledged band in 2015, driven by a relentless thirst for angry metal and a need for vengeance. They take no prisoners with this release that is inspired by James Redfield’s “The Celestine Prophecy”, which explores four patterns designed to consume someone’s attention and energy. Backstabber shares their thoughts on the album and what fans can expect from them:

“Each track digs into a specific pattern giving for a wide array of emotions throughout the EP. It can also be felt musically as each song has a very distinct style while the production makes a good wrap up keeping it as a whole. Our music being live-oriented from the start, it makes way for an energetic output. Our shows are well rounded up and fronted accordingly.”

The evolution of the band’s sound from their previous two releases underscores a departure from the solo origins, with Thériault making room for other members to express themselves more prominently. Thériault leads the charge on guitar and vocals, accompanied by Philippe B. St-Jacques on guitar, Eric Séguin on bass/back vocals, and Keven L.-Hull on drums. As the band’s evolution continues, “Patterns of Domination” marks a pivotal moment where the members’ contributions shine through, creating a distinct and cohesive musical expression.

The tracklist includes the bone-crushing “Harvesting The Weak”, the relentless “Langues Sales”, the haunting “Crawling Through Your Bones”, and the brutal “Snitches Get Stitches”. Backstabber‘s sound, ranging from old-school death metal riffs to slamming brutal death, promises an intense auditory experience and is recommended for fans of Kataklysm, Lamb of God, and Mors Principium Est.

“Patterns of Domination” was produced by Backstabber vocalist/guitarist Christian M. Thériault and mixed and mastered by Christian Donaldson (Cryptopsy) and can be heard via its full stream premiere on NoCleanSinging HERE.

The EP is due out on March 15, 2024, and is available for pre-order at https://backstabbermetal.bandcamp.co.

What the press has said about Backstabber’s 2019 album “Conspiracy Theorist”:

“Powered by drumwork that resembles a ferocious mix of machine-gun and mortar fire, Backstabber mount the attack with flurries of vicious, seething riffery and nail-gunning jab-fests, with the lyrics voiced in heartless, imperious roars. The devastation is pushed to further heights of frenzy with a shrill, eerily spiraling solo, and concludes with a hint of off-planet mystery.” – No Clean Singing

“Out of northern Quebec comes the Men In Black, melodic death metal band Backstabber. Last year, these guys dropped their debut album Conspiracy Theorist and it still stands as one of the best albums of the year. Full of tinges of Hypocrisy from style and sound, to the obvious connection of alien themed lyrics. A little over a year later now, Backstabber are dropping a music video for their song “My Disclosure” and it’s essentially nothing you would expect from a small independent band only on their first album.” – Metal Injection

“Fast, frantic, politically minded and heavy” – Exclaim!

“Backstabber’s death metal is more of the modern variety (in a good way) with a very clean yet brutal sound and speed aplenty. The playing is insanely tight at times and it’s often hard to believe that this is only the first album of a relatively young band, their first demo having been released in 2016. Some passages are a little on the thrash side but for the most part, this is heavy, pounding, fast death metal driven by a drummer who is really asking for a speeding ticket. ” – 4/5 – The Metal Crypt

“The songs are heavy, and the death and thrash influences make for some fairly easy to get into head bobbing as each track progresses… Conspiracy Theorist is a solid beginning for Backstabber… Solid for those that want some new, well-rounded death metal.” – Dead Rhetoric

“Backstabber’s Conspiracy Theorist is a self-released album that makes one wonder how they haven’t been signed to any label yet… Backstabber have on their hands the first essential death metal release of 2019.” – 4/5 – Heavy Music HQ

“BACKSTABBER deliver aggressively systematic silver lining lacerations of rip-roaring screams of vengefully vicious old-school Death ‘N’ Thrash Metal professionalism – simply put – recommended.” – Metal-Temple

“The tracks that attracted my attention the most were ‘Ink Spill’, ‘My Disclosure’ and ‘Banksters’: continuing the old-school texture, these tracks, as well as the entire full-length, include no clean vocals nor breakdowns; all that is contained is substantial and complete death-thrash metal led on by a superb stream of undeniable thinking and design. Backstabber’s music can definitely be cherished over time by fans of Decapitated, At The Gates, Deicide and Hypocrisy as the band grows in following. This release shows glory in blending their musical layout with dynamic and spirited riffs.” – Metal-Rules

“Conspiracy Theorist has a real face crushing, devastatingly great death/thrash metal feel to it…” – Crannk

0 Norway’s Féleth Now Streaming Their Technical Melodic Death Metal Album “Divine Blight” (Mixed and Mastered by Christian Donaldson (Cryptopsy))

NEWS RELEASE

Montreal, QC – November 10, 2022

Norway’s Féleth Now Streaming Their Technical Melodic Death Metal Album “Divine Blight”

Mixed and Mastered by Christian Donaldson (Cryptopsy)

Féleth, from northern Norway, is now streaming their second album “Divine Blight”, which they see as a solid step up from 2020’s “Depravity”. They take on real-life events and put them to provocative music best described as melodic death metal with a healthy dose of technical death metal added in. The lyrical themes are often inspired by things that vocalist Espen Dagenborg finds massively wrong such as politicians waging war, being greedy, and also how humans can be extremely hateful against others. Then again there are also songs that are somewhat purely fictional, mostly showcasing his lyrical style.

As Féleth was the continuation of a former thrash metal band, IronBound, it’s natural to say that they started out as a thrash death band. As the then-young boys started to discover the joys of death metal the sound evolved more toward that. Along with the newfound joy came the struggle, for death metal wasn’t easy to play. After finally mastering the ways of death metal and having released “Depravity” disaster struck. The now not-so-young boys had developed a taste for technical death metal and big hooks. When the time came to work on “Divine Blight” they already had a handful of finished songs to choose from, each one a work of art – melodic, technical, brutal art. The band comments:

“After getting signed with our new label “Rob Mules Records” and playing some pretty sick gigs at both Buktafestivalen and Tons of Rock, we’re super stoked to release our new album “Divine Blight”. It was a long and tedious process of selecting, practicing, and recording, but the result will speak for itself. Our best album thus far. It’s a collection of stories based on the dystopian path humanity is set on. We felt that throughout this new journey of an album we’ve refined our songwriting and successfully achieved a style that’s not only ass-whoppingly brutal, but also more complex emotionally and lyrically. It is clear that we’ve got multiple influences and styles throughout the album which all contribute to a massive sonic package. It’s definitely a death metal album with some subtle takes on some of its many subgenres. Two and half years after our debut “Depravity” we’re ready to present ‘DIVINE BLIGHT’.”

The album was mixed and mastered by Christian Donaldson (Cryptopsy) and the album artwork was done by Kahinienn Graphix. The Northern Norwegian technical death rock is recommended for fans of Fit For An Autopsy, Inferi, and Soreption.

The album “Divine Blight” comes out on November 11, 2022, and can be heard in full before its official release on Metal-Rules HERE.

““Majesty” is an exciting introduction to the differing styles and techniques that Féleth intertwine in their songwriting, drawing together ingredients from technical and melodic death metal in a white-hot rush that nevertheless is home to some bone-smashing grooves. “Avarice” puts those genre ingredients on display again, but expands the musical palette and makes the song an even ore multi-faceted and atmospheric experience. With no room to gasp a breath, the song explodes in a flurry of fleet-fingered, fret-leaping guitar work, neck-cracking drumming, and flame-throwing vocal intensity. But groaning chords and shrill, eerie melodic overtones also create dark and deleterious moods, building tension and fear. While the vocals are utterly unhinged in their madness (and doubled in the chorus for extra intensity), squirming guitar arpeggios create a different dimension of insanity, coupled with agony, and martial drum patterns and a misery-steeped closing solo add to the song’s relentless dynamism. On top of all that, the song also punches like a heavyweight fighter.” – No Clean Singing (Divine Blight 2022)

“Feleth is gaining a name for itself despite only being around for a couple of years. They are developing their sound and their technical ability rapidly and this release shows that development, especially in songwriting where they bring different elements in to add color. An excellent example of melodic/technical death metal and worth anyone’s hard-earned cash.” – My Global Mind (Divine Blight 2022)

“Depravity the newest album from Feleth is one brutal album full of riffs and hooks to keep even the most particular entertained. Feleth mix the roots of the Norwegian metal scene, with the death metal tone they strive for to create some well crafted blackened death metal, similar to that of Shadow of Intent.” – Metal Injection (Depravity 2020)

“With a melting pot of ideas, yet rooted in delivering a head-smashing and neck-destroying style of metal, Féleth are aggressive newcomers to a scene that constantly looks to surprise… Féleth deliver heavy and extreme noise so very well.” 9/10 – Games, Brrraaains & A Head-Banging Life (Depravity 2020)

“straight up heaviness and brutality, tech offerings and melodic atmopsheres, and enjoyable groove.” – Dead Rhetoric (Depravity 2020)

“Féleth: Transcends the traditional limits of the genre…” – Permafrost.today (Depravity 2020)

“9/10 “Féleth offer an edge-of-your-seat experience that is both fresh and captivating.” – Metal Inferno (Depravity 2020)

“Féleth does death metal fast and aggressive, reigning in their impressive technical chops for maximum impact, keeping their riffs (and songs, for that matter) relatively short and to the point. They strike a pretty even balance between chunky chords and caustic melodies, most of which are designed to coax headbanging than to impress with virtuosity. The album is front-loaded with catchy bangers, saving the more technical and weird bits for the latter half.” – Tolet Ov Hell (Depravity 2020)

Both sonically and lyrically, the debut EP from Bone Tower, “We All Will Die One Day” represents a collective status of disarray. Challenging speed and complex rhythms serve to accelerate unfavourable feelings to the forefront of your mind.

The first single off this succinct record is “Mangled Wounds”, the words in which are totally up for interpretation and expresses a couple of different personal thoughts. According to the band, it was written both literally, outlining repeated trauma; as well as figuratively, about how one might process anxiety and depression. They continue to explain in their own words:

“Opening abruptly with tremorous blast beats and rattling vocals, this tune wastes no time in delivering its taunting message. With a sense of urgency, the cryptic lyrics rest upon escalating guitar licks, as drums rapidly push this anthem to the point of no return. Briefly, you are allowed to catch a quick breath, only to be slingshotted into a barrage of open chugs. The mainline ‘mangled wounds torn open again…’ is chanted back at you, and you are plunged into the second interlude track, ‘Cower Away’.”

The eight tracks on the EP come in at just over nine minutes, but capture a full array of raucous violence. “We All Will Die One Day” is abrasive, pissed off, and fatiguing. If you’re into that kind of thing, you’ll like it.

Bone Tower is a fresh group having started in February of this year, they came together with the sole purpose of creating this record, and have delivered on that with this auditory assault. The band worked collaboratively writing and performing the songs, it was produced, mixed, and mastered by Michael Bowers and the album artwork was done by Jonas Deviller.

For fans of grindcore and death metal, Bone Tower is suitable for fans of Full of Hell, Pig Destroyer, and Cryptopsy.

The single “Mangled Wounds” can be heard via its premiere on IDIOTEQ HERE.

The EP “We All Will Die One Day” will drop on November 5, 2021 via No Funeral Records & Fresh Outbreak Records.

About:
Bone Tower got its start early in 2021, with the sole purpose of channeling built-up negative energy and creating a hectic, pissed-off sounding record. Hailing from Atlantic Canada they got straight to the point through pummeling angry death metal.

Bone Tower is the musical equivalent of the chaos ensuing globally since last year. An angry jab back at the universe for anyone who was angry and watched the world unfold with racial upheaval, conservatives and conspiracists coming out of the woodwork against Covid, economic regression with millions losing jobs, the entire world changing beneath our feet, and for the politicians who claimed to be on our side but continue to fight against the truth.

The trio of Jonas DeViller (vocals/electronics/lyrics), Sean Carroll (guitar/bass), and Michael Bowers (guitar/bass/vocals) is a seasoned one at that and they were able to quickly write and produce their debut EP ‘We All Will Die One Day’ in two weeks. It came together as a whole very quickly and organically.

This is just the start for Bone Tower, they already have a follow-up record in the works. As of now, they are mostly a recording project but they intend on eventually playing shows. When they do finally play live, it’s bound to be just as fucked up as the recording.

EP ‘We All Will Die One Day’ is due out November 5, 2021.

0 Decibel Mag Now Streaming Deformatory’s “Inversion of the Unseen Horizon”

NEWS RELEASE

Montreal, QC – September 9, 2021

Decibel Mag Now Streaming Deformatory’s “Inversion of the Unseen Horizon”

Ottawa’s Deformatory has a new album and it is now streaming in full over on Decibel Magazine HERE.

“Inversion of the Unseen Horizon” is the fifth release from Deformatory, adding to previous works, ”A Prelude Of…” (2011); “In The Wake of Pestilence” (2013); “Malediction” (2016); and “Bilateral Carnage” (Split with Blood of Christ, 2018).

The concept album follows the story of a malevolent interdimensional entities that seek to enslave and consume all light from the universe. Lyrically and musically, Deformatory has gone to great lengths to ensure a brutal, captivating and cohesive work of art. The band shares their take on the overall experience they are trying to convey:

“For us, the artwork and concept of the album were just as important as the music and songwriting. Our hope is that every audio and visual release that is connected to this album helps the listener dive deeper into the totality of our creation.”

Deformatory shares their hopes for the album’s reception:

“We hope it gets received the way we receive it when playing it. We have tons of fun jamming the songs and it automatically causes our heads to bang. It’s a heavy and jam-packed album that has a little bit of everything wrapped in brutal death metal packaging. Our hope is that fans of all extreme metal spectrums will find at least one thing in it to enjoy.”

Deformatory has a high level of chemistry when it comes to writing, on this album, there are some songs that were written in just an hour or two because we were in the pocket and everything flowed the way it should. According to the band, they don’t put a lot of thought into the writing, nor do they concern themselves with the theory behind it. If it sounds good to them and makes them want to demolish the room, then it’s a keeper.

Recommended for fans of Hate Eternal, Cryptopsy, and Morbid Angel, “Inversion of the Unseen Horizon” can be enjoyed on

About:
Deformatory is a death metal band from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Forming in 2010, they set out to create an extreme sound, fusing together classic influences (Cryptopsy, Morbid Angel, Suffocation, etc.) and their love for modern tech death. The result is a uniquely relentless blend of death metal that can only hail from the Northern hemisphere.

Deformatory independently released their full-length debut, “In The Wake of Pestilence”, in December of 2013. This pummeling 9-track debut has been exceptionally well-received by fans worldwide, and has been cited as being an “outstanding and monstrous debut album. Essential.” (Frank Rini – AllAboutTheRock, ex: Internal Bleeding), and “flawless in every way” (TheBloodShed).

Having shared the stage with bands like Cryptopsy, Napalm Death, Obscura, Beyond Creation, Gorod, Archspire, and Fuck The Facts, Deformatory is more than comfortable delivering their crushing brand of extreme metal to live, screaming, and sweaty audiences.

The band’s sophomore release, “Malediction”, was released worldwide via CDN Records in 2016, with additional singles “Once Upon the Cross” (Deicide cover), and “Myiasis” both in 2018. Since then, DEFORMATORY has been developing their 3rd full-length album entitled “Inversion of the Unseen Horizon”, which they plan to unveil in the Fall of 2021 as an independent release.

Deformatory Continues To Entrap Listeners With Single “Impaled Upon The Carrionspire” ft. Jon Levasseur (ex-Cryptopsy)

Music Video Premiere via MetalInjection

New Album “Inversion of the Unseen Horizon” Out September 3, 2021

Rising from the depths of the capital of Canada, Ottawa’s Deformatory has played countless shows across Ontario and Quebec as a headlining act to be reckoned with. Known for being tight and brutal, Deformatory now exists as a duo and they are releasing a new album this year, “Inversion of the Unseen Horizon”.

With this album, and the previous (“Malediction”), Deformatory has been exploring an inter-dimensional civilization that has a unilateral mission to consume all light throughout the cosmos. Their latest single “Impaled Upon The Carrionspire” features Jon Levasseur (ex-Cryptopsy) and details the frenzy and mayhem as these cosmic devourers descend upon a life-star, as the band shares:

“The horde is unleashed, devouring all forms of life. The display is macabre, and the Cenaxors feed off the fear and energy of a slow, painful death. This describes the scene through the eyes of one who is hiding in the rubble, hoping not to be found…”

The chaotic barrage that Deformatory brings forth comes from a very organic writing process. There are no click tracks or Guitar Pro files here, just jamming and improvisation until something clicks.

The high contrast, striking video work is recommended for fans of Origin, Hate Eternal, and Cryptopsy.

The music video for “Impaled Upon The Carrionspire” (ft. Jon Levasseur (ex-Cryptopsy)) can be viewed via its premiere on MetalInjection HERE.

Ottawa’s Deformatory Announce Sonically Relentless Death Metal Experience With “Inversion of the Unseen Horizon”

Single Premiere “In The Embervoid Where Dead Stars Reign” via Bravewords

New Album “Inversion of the Unseen Horizon” Out September 3, 2021

Deformatory has been a maelstrom of devastation since 2010, assaulting all in their wake with relentless sonic brutality. This year they are adding to their punishing catalogue with their third album “Inversion of the Unseen Horizon”, which was mixed and mastered by Topon Das (Fuck the Facts) from Apartment 2 Recording along with the artwork done by Paul Gerrard, who is a movie concept designer known for his imagery on Wrath of the Titans, Hellraiser: Origins and Hellboy.

In anticipation of what is sure to be one of the heaviest tech death albums of the year, Deformatory are luring listeners in with the first single “In The Embervoid Where Dead Stars Reign”, which can be heard via its premiere on Bravewords HERE.

This is the third full-length album for Deformatory, following the 2011 EP “A Prelude Of…”; the 2013 full-length “In The Wake of Pestilence” and the 2016 full-length “Malediction”. The nine-track album is divided into three chapters, of which “In The Embervoid Where Dead Stars Reign” is the third song in the second chapter.

Deformatory explains the album’s concept and how the single fits in:

“In our previous album “Malediction”, we explored the truth about Lucifer, who was an angel possessed by a far greater evil entity named Savael. We dove into his awakening and consequences for mankind. Our newest album reveals that Savael was but a mere droid in a complex hierarchy of vile entities, known as The Ce’naxors from a planet called Cyru’xil, whose Grand Arkitekt has an insatiable thirst for destroying life stars.

The single is about the aftermath of planetary consumption and its effect on the multiverse. How death and destruction breed new forms of life, including some unintended consequences for Cyru’xil.”

This massively complex and intriguing album is just the tip of the iceberg for the brutal Ottawa duo. Fans of Cryptopsy, Morbid Angel, and Origin should take note.

The album “Inversion of the Unseen Horizon” will be released on September 3, 2021.

Since then, DEFORMATORY has been developing their 3rd full-length album entitled “Inversion of the Unseen Horizon” which they plan to unveil in the Fall of 2021 as an independent release.
