Montreal, QC – July 11, 2019

Debut EP “Pre-Meditated” Out Fall 2019

Badass, but in a tasteful way is the best way to describe the debut single and video ‘Cannibalistic’ from Ottawa’s TripleMurder. The song comes from the band’s forthcoming debut EP “Pre-Meditated” slated for release later this fall and is a flurry of blood, guts, and breakdowns.

TripleMurder is a band with a lot to offer their listeners, everything from chunky groovy riffs, blast beats, to breakdowns and two-steps and everything in between they refuse to be set into one specific genre and consistently break rules over the course of their 6 song EP. They see their EP as a wake-up call, which they explain further:

“We believe that it should be received as a wake-up call to the metal industry that you don’t have to confine yourself to a certain subgenre of metal to write heavy tunes. It’s all about having fun and showing off everybody’s musical tastes in the band.”

With the single, TripleMurder is looking to send their listeners into a state of awe, and be content with hearing a wide variety of elements, and techniques that keep the music creative and unique. Metal fans of all kinds, from death metal to core fans will appreciate this effort from TripleMurder.

To check out their debut music video ‘Cannibalistic’, watch it at the following link where it’s being premiered on TheCirclePit‘s YouTube Channel: https://youtu.be/XTofU04B23I

BIO:

With the idea of forming a band without musical boundaries or constrictions, TripleMurder has made it a point to breathe new musical life into the metal scene. Triple Murder is here to make listeners question what they think about pigeonholing bands into sub-genres, offering everything from chunky groovy riffs, blast beats, to breakdowns and two-steps and everything in between. With lyrical themes involving the state of the human race, politics and social media scares to just everyday life and human interactions, TripleMurder brings an in-your-face live show to the stage in a brilliant display of headbanging, jumping, power stomping, running and tons of other antics! Their first EP ‘Pre-Meditated’ from TripleMurder is set to be released fall 2019, with more material in the works!

“The band was eager to showcase their skills (as it was their third show as a band) and did they ever deliver. With song titles like Cannibalistic, it was no surprise that the crowd began to get rowdy and mosh.  Members of the crowd being eager to move, their energy being uncontainable that they opted to hang from the venue rafters in their excitement.” – Splice Media Group

“TripleMurder brings that Pantera meets 2000s metalcore stuff in the best way possible.” – Ghostblade

“Great live band and lots of elements of old school death/thrash and modern metal in the mix. Never a dull moment in their music.” – Andrew Depedro Charlton (KNAC.com)

It’s been some years since EXPAIN‘s debut album “Just The Tip” enlightened the senses of metal fans across Canada and beyond. The album brought forward a great combination of thrash, death, prog, technical and jazz influences all balanced for a very welcomed mosh pit of madness, especially for fans that enjoy the styles of bands like Revocation, Black Dahlia Murder and Vektor. Touring across the country these past years, EXPAIN is back with a fresh line up that includes Eli Slamang on guitar (Ex-Skull Vultures) and Sean Ip on vocals (The Hallowed Catharsis). The band will be releasing their perfectly titled EP “Pinching Nerves” on September 15th, which will be doing exactly as it says with its flurry of six cacophonous tracks of pounding drums, harmony laden riffs and in your face catchy vocals. The EP even showcases a very legendary special guest, guitarist Dan Mongrain (Voivod, Martyr) on “Corridors of The Mind”, which the band has teamed up with GearGods.net to exclusively premiere the video playthrough featuring Mongrain’s solo with shredding attacks from EXPAIN’s Pat Peeve and Eli Slamang.

“Hold on to your balls, for Expain could be positioned as Canada’s next great metal export.” – Global Metal Apocalypse

“they are a superb and well balanced blend of progressive and technical with a strong leaning towards thrash/death with some jazzy elements in the mix for good measure, a potent combination that sets them aside from pretty much everyone else.” – Metal Talk

“Hailing from Canada, EXPAIN is not your run-of-the-mill thrash metal band. No, no, they’ve definitely got something different to bring to the party. Sure, all the requirements are there: ferocious drumming, slicing riffs, and ripping vocals, but it’s the structures of these songs that definitely stand out” – Amps and Green Screens

“a band built on displaying technical skills behind the instruments. A heavy and potent mixture of thrash and jazz metal, Vancouver, Canada’s Expain is hoping to become a staple in a genre built on technical skill and speed” – Under The Gun Review

“In my metal induced coma, I am inclined to say this band should not be sniffed at or trifled with, they are some serious thrash metal impresarios… For Fans Of: Uber thrash with a touch of jazz.” – All About The Rock

“Wildly diverse band that combines elements of thrash, punk, tech metal and even some jazz with an off-the-wall comedic streak.” Prog NW Metal Zone

About:

Vancouver’s rugged outdoors-metallers, The Mountain Man, deliver a diverse blend of hard-hitting music, paying homage to the Sasquatch through crushing riffs and blaring drums. This band is all Canadian; celebrating camping, plaid, beer, and above all else energetic metal. Parker (ex-BRAUHEIST) gets straight to the point with his raw, gruff vocals and lyrics filled with animosity that cut through the instruments like an unyielding axe. Each song is like a hand-drawn map guiding fans through the British Columbian wilderness. While the first half is complete, the second half is up to the listener to build their own path and take what they will from each track.

The band developed their sound from listening to groups like The Black Dahlia Murder, Crowbar, Gojira, Lamb of God, and Black Sabbath, taking to heart the importance of dedicating their lives to their craft. Tevyn Pacey (Bass), Ryan McCreedy (Drums), Parker (Vocals), Tyson Tambellini (Rhythm Guitar), and Jordan Orr (Lead Guitar) are like woodsmen secluded from civilization with nothing but their instruments to craft doomy, yet frantic metal. They harness a variety of metal genres and bend them to their will.

The Mountain Man released their debut EP Bloodlust on Friday, March 25, 2016. The five song EP is purposefully open ended so that listeners can interpret each song and find meaning for themselves. More information can be found at https://mountainmanmetal.bandcamp.com

Canada’s epic metal quartet and Wacken Metal Battle 2015 international champions VESPERIA announce due to visa conflicts they’ve been forced to cancel their US dates this November.
The band issued the following statement:

“Our friends, it is with deep displeasure and disappointment that we must cancel our upcoming US dates this fall on The Tempests Over the East Tour. We were notified that we would not be receiving our visas until the winter, making our attempt at crossing the US border impossible. Though we were given an opportunity to expedite the visas, it is just too expensive for us as an independent metal band at this time.

We are truly sorry and apologize deeply to the fans, bands, promoters and our US agent for this news. We will definitely make it up to you all next year with a tour of epic proportions and a massive new album!

That being said, we will still continue on with our Canadian dates and include an additional date in Fredericton, NB on Monday November 9. We also have some huge news to reveal soon!

Thank you all for your understanding.

Much love,

-Vesperia”

About:
The cloudy beginnings of VESPERIA lay etched in the gorged bodies of former musical projects among the now four-member band. Twisting, writhing and forcing their aural onslaught upon metal audiences across the globe have sincerely ensured the band’s continuity through all the harsh and arduous battles modern metal bands are bound to encounter in their tenures.
Established in 2012 by vocalist/ bassist Morgan Rider, the sound, direction and theme of the music quickly and naturally evolved into the style of fierce and heroic metal the band is now known and praised for.
Shortly after releasing their first full-length album Voyage from Vinland, VESPERIA redefined themselves and further focused their direction with the 2012 demo, The Swordsman. In 2013, the band independently funded and released their 2nd full-length album An Olden Tale, drawing the ears and attention of metal fans around the world and demonstrating their true mastery of their craft. During that same year, the band also independently funded and completed several Canadian tours to support the album.
Early 2015 saw the band enter the studio once again to record some demo material, which would become The Iron Tempests EP. During this time, the band toured Canada from coast to coast and also made an appearance at Wacken Open Air in Germany, where they won the title of 2015 International Wacken Battle Champions, a second time win for the band’s frontman, Morgan.
With their most fierce music written to date and a bounty of opportunity awaiting, VESPERIA continue to hungrily eye 2015 as the year they will make their mark upon the Earth.
