The Convalescence is a five-member Symphonic Deathcore band formed in Toledo, OH in early 2011. The Convalescence blends Black Metal/Horror theatrics with intense Death Metal style Blast Beats and shredding Guitar along with brutal slamming Breakdowns and catchy melodies. The band tours nearly nonstop racking up nearly 1,000 live performances across 9 Countries.
The Convalescence has released 4 Full-Length Albums, 2 EPs, and 2 stand-alone singles resulting in over 1 Million plays on Spotify and Youtube each. The band also released 2 Documentaries via Amazon Prime Video in 2020 supported by a Sold Out Movie Theater Screening of them both in Maumee, OH on Oct.30th, 2020. The band recently finished recording their 5th Full Length Album with Producer Jason Suecof at Audiohammer Studios with a projected release in Early Summer 2023.
