NEWS RELEASE

Montreal, QC – October 1, 2025

BERIEDIR Release Music Video for “As Tight As Phantoms Hold” Off New Album “Liminal Spaces”

Following the release of their album “Liminal Spaces,” Italian progressive metal act Beriedir unveil the official music video for “As Tight As Phantoms Hold”.

First introduced live in 2024, “As Tight As Phantoms Hold” quickly became one of the band’s most energetic and impactful songs to perform on stage. Musically, the track blends tight rhythms, ambient sections, electronic drum passages, and crushing breakdowns, embodying Beriedir’s ability to merge atmosphere with sheer intensity. Lyrically, it portrays the image of an anonymous guard stationed in a desolate outpost and condemned to fleeting encounters with nameless passersby, a metaphor for loneliness, transience, and betrayal.

“An isolated box, a guardhouse at the entrance of a parking lot. Cars come and go, strangers pass by, some of them wave. Nameless, every day, no one meant to stay. That’s what some of us feel like. A keeper of nothing, only meeting ghosts. The only connection afforded was that of a stab in the back.”

The band comments:

“This song stands out as one of the most energizing to bring on stage. We wanted to push variety in composition, mixing ambient layers, electronic touches, and breakdowns to create something that constantly shifts in intensity.”

The official video visually translates this restless duality, amplifying both the haunting isolation and explosive release at the heart of the track.

With “Liminal Spaces”, Beriedir continues their stylistic evolution, moving further from their power metal roots toward a darker and more progressive identity. The record explores trauma, nostalgia, longing, and emotional fragmentation, offering an immersive experience that resonates with anyone navigating moments of solitude and transition.

Now fully embracing a modern progressive and alternative metal aesthetic, Beriedir’s sound invites comparison to Pain of Salvation, Leprous, Katatonia, Gojira, Trivium, and Dark Tranquillity. Mixed and mastered by Simone Mularoni at Domination Studio, “Liminal Spaces” combines sonic depth with lyrical weight, marking a bold new chapter in the band’s journey.

“Melodies accompanied by explosive rhythms” – Loud And Proud

“I am utterly convinced that Beriedir will begin to achieve a level of success that their obvious talent fully deserves.” – Man Of Much Metal

“Not only will Beriedir pull your face off, but they’ll do it at breakneck speed in 5/4 time. ‘Aqva’ is a fast-paced album, thrashing machine gun powered guitars do endless battle with the fanfare of keyboards which blast with all the fun of those Euro-pop power metal sound.” – The Metal Crypt

“Metaphysical lyrics […] Through the entire song I thought somehow that a whole orchestra is with the band, so these guys truly know how to play their instruments properly and make magic out of them.” – Abaddon Magazine

“The word “elegant” comes to mind to describe the atmosphere of this album. None of these songs is superfluous. The strength of this release lies in the coherence and articulation of the songs. This clever structure supports an emotional journey. It evokes gigantic waves crashing on your heads.” – Metal Express Radio

Fantasy Meets Prog CEPHEIDAE VARIABLE “Carving a Dragon” Opens The Gates To Debut Album “Primordial Reverie” Out Nov 2025

Photo Credit – Solo artist: Ryan Koepke – Guitar, Bass, Composition, Production

Cepheidae Variable, the one-man progressive metal project helmed by Kelowna, Canada, guitarist and composer Ryan Koepke, has officially unveiled its debut single, “Carving a Dragon,” accompanied by a playthrough video. The track serves as the first glimpse into Cepheidae Variable’s upcoming debut full-length instrumental album, “Primordial Reverie,” set for release on November 7th, 2025.

Originally conceived as a personal exploration of musical growth, Cepheidae Variable evolved into a deeply emotional and ambitious endeavour following Koepke’s father’s cancer diagnosis and the news of his own impending fatherhood.

“I stopped waiting around and created something I’d be proud of. This album became a reflection of emotional turbulence, hope, and transformation,” shares Koepke.

“Carving a Dragon” was the first track written for the album, and one of the most challenging. Inspired by Robin Hobb’s Assassin’s Quest, the song symbolizes pouring one’s soul into creation and marks the beginning of Koepke’s journey as a solo recording artist. With its energetic, uplifting fantasy feel, it stands in contrast to the moodier, sci-fi-themed tracks that follow.

“There were many times during the writing process I considered scrapping this song. The result is something that has stuck with me and has a lot of meaning to not only myself, but also friends and family who supported me,” says Koepke.

The album itself is a genre-defying instrumental narrative, weaving through symphonic fantasy, sci-fi textures, and progressive complexity. Koepke describes the sound as “spacey, weird, melodic, melancholic, happy,” and cites influences ranging from Dream Theater and Haken to Wintersun and Caligula’s Horse. Divided into three distinct acts, “Primordial Reverie” challenges listeners to experience the full arc of its story, with recurring motifs and evolving themes that reward repeat listens.

The album artwork, created by renowned collage artist Alex Eckman-Lawn, evokes feelings of loneliness, wonder, and cosmic mystery, mirroring the tonal shift that occurs midway through the album.

“I especially enjoyed this artwork because of the amount of interpretation it allows from the viewer. It was a heavy influence on the tonal shift this album undergoes.” Koepke notes.

With “Primordial Reverie,” Koepke aims to release a new album every 2–4 years, continuing to push the boundaries of solo composition and progressive storytelling. Though currently instrumental, Cepheidae Variable may evolve into a collaborative or vocal project in the future.

Recommended for listeners of Dream Theater, Haken, Intervals, Wintersun, and Caligula’s Horse, “Carving a Dragon” can be heard and watched via its playthrough premiere on TheProgSpace HERE.

Set against the rugged backdrop of Alberta’s badlands, where sculpted sandstone, wind-carved hoodoos, and sweeping canyons dominate the landscape, Canada’s most decibel-breaking extreme music gathering, the Loud As Hell Open Air Festival, returns for its 14th edition in 2026. From July 31st to August 2nd, Drumheller’s Dinosaurs Down Stampede will erupt with the ferocity of rising Canadian and international metal acts, roaring through the heart of the nation’s largest dinosaur fossil beds.

Band submissions for the 2026 edition officially open on October 1st and will be accepted until October 31st. This is your band’s chance to join one of the loudest and most brutal festivals in Canada, where underground talent meets prehistoric fury.

Bands interested in performing can apply at the following link: https://loudashell.ca/

Early Bird tickets go on sale December 1st, 2026. Don’t miss your chance to lock in the loudest weekend of the summer at a killer price. Get ready for prehistoric heaviness and decibel-shattering performances in one of Canada’s most surreal landscapes. Loud As Hell is coming… and it’s going to be louder than ever.

The 2025 edition of Loud As Hell delivered three relentless days of headbanging, moshing, and pure metal chaos, featuring over 40 bands from Canada, the U.S., and Mexico. Acts like Revocation, Insurrection, First Fragment, Gorgatron, Filth, Opal in Sky, Judicator, Beguiler, Gore Pig, Spit On Your Grave, Hazzerd, Cyborg Octopus, and Thirteen Goats tore through the badlands with crushing performances. The festival even hosted a heavy metal wedding, adding a unique twist to the weekend’s sonic carnage (video).

Since launching in 2012, Loud As Hell Open Air Festival has cemented its place as a cornerstone of Canada’s extreme music scene, showcasing hundreds of bands from across the country and around the world, save for a brief pause in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Over the years, the festival has hosted heavyweights like Beyond Creation, Striker, Green Jelly, The Convalescence, Jungle Rot, Narcotic Wasteland, Into Eternity, Goatwhore, Fit for An Autopsy, Archspire, Unleash The Archers, Protest the Hero, AngelMaker, and many more, drawing metalheads from coast to coast for a weekend of sonic devastation.

In 2026, Loud As Hell returns for its 14th edition, presented by Loud As Hell Productions, Jurassic Ink Custom Tattoo, Prairie Fire Events, and Asher Media Relations. Renowned for delivering one of the most punishing lineups in Western Canada, the festival promises another unforgettable experience packed with crushing performances, freak shows, burlesque acts, clinics, vendors, and yes, dinosaurs. Loud As Hell isn’t just a festival. It’s a full-throttle celebration of metal mayhem.

What the press is saying:

“Located an hour and a half east of Calgary is the town of Drumheller, Alberta. With a population in the neighborhood of 8000 and existing smack dab in the middle of Canada’s desert and dinosaur country, it’s not a place one would immediately associate with any sort of metal scene, let alone a big-ass outdoor metal fest. But that’s where you’d be wrong. Going into its 11th year, the Loud as Hell Festival is set to roll on August 4-6th with the likes of Narcotic Wasteland, Jungle Rot and Incite headlining three days of metallic fun featuring 40 or so bands, including The Convalescence, Gorgatron, Necronomicon, Untimely Demise, Eyes of Perdition and more.” – Decibel Magazine

“Western Canada’s loudest heavy metal festival brings fans to town more known for dinos than drum solos.” – CBC Calgary

“What’s more metal than the badlands? Drumheller, AB, is known for being the dinosaur capital of the world — but it’s also the home of the Loud as Hell festival, an event celebrating none other than the loudest music known to man (and, by proxy, prehistoric reptile).” – Exclaim!

“Loud as Hell – one of Canada’s top underground metal festivals – was a metal family reunion. If you walked around the grounds, where tents covered the landscape like flowers, you would experience concert goers laughing, hugging and just enjoying the moment. The music played non-stop and the people were some of the best you’ll meet. What else do you need? If you’re a metalhead fan, mark it down for next year because this is a concert you don’t want to miss.” – Blackfalds Life

“Headbanger alert: Loud As Hell festival to ramp up the volume” – Calgary Herald

“Nevermind the bug spray and sun tan lotion, as August approaches Drumheller residents should stock up on earplugs.” – Calgary Herald

“Loud As Hell returns to the southern Alberta city for its seventh year and as its name implies, will rock the city to its core.” – Calgary Herald

“Loud as Hell has celebrated eight years in the Badlands to date, with acts from all over the world-shattering the peace and quiet of the hills in a camping and music extravaganza.” – Hanna Herald

“Drumheller with its dinosaur bones is the site of the annual Loud as Hell heavy metal festival Friday through Sunday. Dozens of the heaviest bands known to Man will be taking the stage, many of them Canadian” – Gig City

Two of Thunder Bay, ON’s rising metal forces, THE FIXER and TEKNOSIS, are kicking off an epic tour of mind-melting metal across dates in Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta this October.

Touring across Canada heavily in support of their new 2025 single “It Will End Tonight” and their 2023 debut album “Your Lie’ released on WormHoleDeath Records, this next adventure of show dates will be special ones, as they are taking hometown friends Teknosis on the the road who will be supporting their latest EP 2024’s Return To Civilization”, recorded and mixed by Ryan MacDonald at Lionheart Sound Co and mastered by Topon Das (F*ck The Facts) at Apartment 2.

“Touring is something we all look forward to in The Fixer. The most rewarding part of being in a band is seeing people connect with something you’ve created, and our favourite way to do that is in the live setting. We will be heading out with fresh songs, as well as bringing a couple of songs back into the set that we haven’t played in some time. Similarly, we are excited to be playing some places we haven’t played before and some of the first places we ever played outside of our hometown,” says Vic Sin, Guitar – The Fixer

“We are incredibly pleased with our first EP, ‘Return to Civilization’. These 5 songs are the perfect introduction to the sound of Teknosis. Fans of all genres of metal will enjoy our hybrid of metal genres. We are now beyond thrilled to be bringing these songs and more on tour this October with The Fixer,” adds bassist Travis Doggett – Teknosis.

The Fixer is a genre-defying force in the pop-metal underground. They continue to captivate audiences with their latest standalone single, “It Will End Tonight,” unleashed this past September, and their latest full-length album, “Your Lie,” released in 2023.

“We’ve always written from a heartfelt lens. It Will End Tonight is no exception. It’s about fighting through darkness with love, and we think fans who connect with our emotional honesty will resonate deeply with it,” says the band.

When witnessed live, they channel Addams Family vibes with rapid-fire sets, minimalist yet impactful lighting, and a palpable emotional connection with their audience. Their shows are more than performances; they’re cathartic rituals. Those who have not seen them live should brace themselves for The Fixer‘s theatrical flair and emotionally charged soundscapes. Fans can expect not only the immersive live experience they’ve come to love but also brand-new music unveiled on this next road escapade.

Formed out of pure love for metal. Teknosis has quickly evolved into a tight, aggressive unit with a shared vision: to make heavy music that hits hard and leaves no room to breathe. Set to ignite stages across the country this October, Teknosis is bringing their relentless live energy to fans in support of their acclaimed 2024 EP “Return to Civilization”, a five-track barrage of groove-laced hardcore and death metal influences. It’s a compact, violent sonic explosion that lyrically channels frustration and isolation from lockdowns, with themes ranging from societal collapse to personal survival.

With ambient samples bridging each track, Teknosis will be a visceral live experience as they deliver a seamless, high-impact set that’s organic, heavy, and hypnotic.

“We still believe in live amps and drums straight to the cochlea. It’s all about maximum intensity. A sonic experience that’s as brutal as it is addictive,” says bassist Travis Doggett.

Fans can expect new singles starting in Fall 2025, leading up to a full-length album in late 2025 or early 2026. The October tour will feature tracks from “Return to Civilization” alongside unreleased material, giving audiences a taste of what’s to come.

“Teknosis puts listeners through their paces. It feels like the songs could go off the rails at any moment, but remain incredibly syncopated throughout…. Teknosis has created an EP that lays the groundwork for bigger things to come and leaves listeners eager to hear more.” Jason Wellwood – Walleye Magazine

“Dark. Sexy. Loud. It’s The Fixer, and they create a soundtrack that would be fit for a disco in Hell. The Canadian four-piece straddle the line between rock and metal” – Games, Brrrains & A Headbanging Life

“One of the great young acts I found in 2023 came from Canada, The Fixer, who have created bold music and an even bolder look. Led by vocalist Melladonna, the band tries to give the look of a goth outfit. The music, however, tells a different story, as the band rocks as hard as anything you might hear out there now (if not more aggressive). The hook song was “Smoke Show,” but there were quality tracks all through the record. I enjoyed “Ghosts Will Talk,” which presents a spookier sound, and the bookends to the album, the title track and “Your Truth,” which gives a storytelling aspect to the album. I will be interested in seeing where this band goes, and I certainly hope they can get down to the southern tip of North America to bring their sound to an audience that would enjoy them!” – Rock At Night

“The song material is simply great, the emotions are wonderfully combined, and the performance is absolutely over the top.” – PowerMetal.de

“A high-resolution journey through pop rock, goth spirit, punk moods, metal vibes, and party glam rock, with a hint of comedy horror. ‘Your Lie’ is a spiky sound with a razor-sharp edge throughout.” – Rock Queen Reviews

“To close the night and the weekend, Born of Osiris delivered a high-octane headline set that tore the roof off. It was the perfect finale to an unforgettable weekend. When the last note rang out, it hit us — AMF 2025 was coming to a close. There’s always that bittersweet feeling as you start packing up. But that’s the beauty of this festival: it stays with you long after the amps cool down. Every year, Armstrong Metalfest brings together a community that truly loves heavy music. It’s not just about bands and beer — it’s about belonging. The friends you make, the moments you live, the memories that stick — they’re why we keep coming back. If you’ve never been to AMF, consider this your sign. It’s more than a music festival—it’s a metal rite of passage. Once you go, it gets into your blood. We’re already counting the days until the next one.” – Stan Schinners of Broken Neck Radio / Absolute Underground Magazine (Live Review AMF 2025)

Tickets for AMF 2026 will be announced at a later date, granting general admission and access to the festival grounds, camping area, and arena from 9:00 AM on Friday, July 17, 2026, until 10:00 AM on Sunday, July 18, 2026. Free camping is included.

A fee is required for a weekend pass per vehicle in addition to your day or weekend pass. RV hookups include water and power. If you choose to park your vehicle outside the camping area in the main parking lot, then a vehicle pass is not required.

About:

Since its inception in 2009 (with a brief hiatus in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic), West Metal Entertainment and Armstrong MetalFest have championed hundreds of local bands while welcoming renowned international acts to the quiet town of Armstrong, British Columbia.

Every year, metalheads from across Canada and the U.S. converge on the scenic Okanagan Valley for three days of camping and two days packed with heavy metal mayhem. Under the blazing summer sun, fans revel in live performances, wrestling spectacles, scavenger hunts, and reconnecting with their extended metal family.

Armstrong MetalFest has hosted legendary headliners like Kataklysm, Cattle Decapitation, Archspire, Nekrogoblikon, Origin, Rivers of Nihil, Warbringer, Fallujah, Striker, and Beyond Creation, alongside rising stars from across North America. And when the final riff fades, the festival vanishes without a trace, leaving the landscape as untouched as it was before.

West Metal Entertainment, a non-profit society, not only produces Armstrong MetalFest annually but also supports the regional music scene by organizing performances at various venues, including all-ages shows, to inspire musical passion in both youth and adults.

NEWS RELEASE

Montreal, QC – September 29, 2025

NASTYVILLE Release Supercharged Video “Run Wild, Rev High!” For New Album “Rebirth” Out Now!

After igniting the scene with the explosive singles “Power To The People” and “Rocking Through The Night”, Italian hard rockers Nastyville strike again with the release of their brand-new single and official video “Run Wild, Rev High!”. The track is taken from their latest album “Rebirth“, out now via Rockshots Records.

“Run Wild, Rev High!” encapsulates the band’s raw and unfiltered rock’n’roll spirit: adrenaline-fueled riffs, pounding rhythms and a chorus built to be shouted loud and proud. Co-written by guitarist David “Dave Wild” Visin and Christian “Dega” De Gaudenzi, the song delivers the perfect balance between classic sleaze/glam roots and a modern hard rock punch.

The official video further amplifies the track’s energy, capturing Nastyville’s trademark attitude and stage-ready presence. It’s a declaration of freedom, rebellion, and unapologetic rock’n’roll excess, a theme that resonates throughout “Rebirth“, an album described by the band as their truest statement of identity and cohesion to date.

Recorded at Ivorytears Music Works Recording Studio (Somma Lombardo, VA), “Rebirth” was produced by the band and mixed and engineered by Alessandro Del Vecchio (Hardline, Revolution Saints, Edge of Forever, Giant). With its blend of gritty riffs, punchy hooks, and high-octane choruses, the record represents a bold new chapter for Nastyville—one that has already led them to stages alongside Skid Row, Crashdïet, Enuff Z’Nuff, Steel Panther, The Dead Daisies, and more.

“Run Wild, Rev High!” is a call to let go of boundaries and embrace the chaos,” the band comments. “It’s about living with no brakes, no apologies, and turning life’s madness into pure energy.”

ABOUT:
Nastyville is an Italian hard rock band formed in 2012 by drummer Danny Boy and guitarist David “Dave Wild,” with the aim of refreshing the rock genre. The first studio album, “Viva Hell-A” (released in 2015), features old-fashioned guitar riffs and the flavor of the best street/glam rock with Lex on vocals, Kruska on bass guitar, and Manuel on guitar. After Lex and Kruska left, the band continued its journey with Marco “Mark Lee” on vocals and Fabian Anderchen on bass guitar, releasing in 2017 their second studio album, “Glam Caramel”. This album, marked by heavier sounds, gave the band the opportunity to open the Italian tour dates for Skid Row, Crashdïet, Enuff Z’Nuff, Adam Bomb, John Corabi, Simon Wright, and many others. “Songs of Threesome”, released in 2022, was their third studio album and featured a new lineup with Christian “Dega” on guitar and Paul “Cannibal” (ex-Thee S.T.P.) on bass guitar.

In 2023, founding member and drummer Danny Boy and bassist Paul left the band and were soon replaced by Christian “Chris Tabeat” on drums and Carlo “The Horv” on bass guitar. After the release of the two singles “Red Black…Or Green?” and “Livin’ in A Mess”, the band with its new lineup consisting of Marco “Mark Lee” on vocals, David “Dave Wild” on guitar, Christian “Dega” on guitar, Christian “Chris Tabeat” on drums and Carlo “The Horv” on bass guitar, worked tirelessly on new studio material. The year 2024 was a very good year when the band played many dates across Italy and abroad. The opening act for Steel Panther in Milan (Alcatraz) deserves special mention. The band spent the last months of the year working on a brand-new album, entering the studio in December to start recording their fourth studio album under the supervision of producer, singer, and songwriter Alessandro Del Vecchio.

0 Rockshots Records – HELLFOX Release Official Video for “Water On The Ceiling”

NEWS RELEASE

Montreal, QC – September 26, 2025

HELLFOX Release Official Video for “Water On The Ceiling”

New Album “The Spectrum of Human Gravity” Out Now!

Italian all-female metal band HELLFOX have unveiled the brand new official video for “Water On The Ceiling”, one of the standout tracks from their latest album “The Spectrum Of Human Gravity“, released last June 6th, 2025 via Rockshots Records.

A song born from the suffocating sensation of insomnia, “Water On The Ceiling” captures the eerie stillness of endless nights when eyes remain wide open as reality blurs into a waking dream. The track blends haunting melodies, distorted synths and Hellfox’s trademark dual female vocals to convey the claustrophobic feeling of staring at a ceiling that turns into water—suffocating, oppressive and inescapable.

The video adds a new visual dimension to the song’s atmosphere, portraying the emotional weight of sleeplessness and the surreal imagery that inspired the lyrics. It represents yet another chapter in the band’s journey of exploring the depths of human emotion through music and imagery.

“The Spectrum Of Human Gravity” has already gained recognition for its unique fusion of Nordic melodic death metal roots, pop-inspired clean vocals, and modern electronic textures. With singles like “Seaweed Braids” and “Atlas”, Hellfox set the stage for an album that confronts loneliness, mental struggles, and the search for identity without resorting to clichés. “Water On The Ceiling” continues this narrative, offering a vivid metaphor for psychological weight and restless nights.

Recorded at Eden Studio by Alessio Lucatti and mixed/mastered by Simone Mularoni at Domination Studio, the album showcases the band’s fearless approach to songwriting and their growth since their 2022 debut.

For fans of Amorphis, In Flames, and Dark Tranquillity, Hellfox’s new video is not just a performance but a visceral dive into the emotions that define “The Spectrum Of Human Gravity“.

ABOUT:

HELLFOX is an ALL FEMALE alternative metal (alt-metal) band with melodic death tendencies. Despite the four completely different musical backgrounds, we share a common inspiration to Amorphis, In Flames, Dark Tranquillity as far as composition is concerned, while for the choice of sounds we intended to move away from the Symphonic, recognizably feminine scenario to include acid and distorted synths so that we could create modern atmospheres that more closely met our tastes and better married the pop timbre of the melodic vocals. The dualism of HELLFOX is not meant to be understood on a conflicting level, it is instead the result of different voices within the human soul, different faces if you will, that mingle and generate the person itself, in its entirety, that although they seem to struggle, they coexist and create harmony and balance. We don’t use masks to conform to a mass, nor do we want to stand out at all costs, we just want to be ourselves in a society where normality is only a surface, the abyss instead is made up of so many facets of personality, both for the group and especially for the individual human being. Ours is a message within everyone’s reach, in which one can recognize oneself: that little voice in the head that either draws you in or drives you away… Because for us, nothing is normal, nothing is different.

Montreal, QC – September 26, 2025

Canadian Thrashers TRISKELYON Announces 4th Studio Album “Maelstrom of Chaos” Out Nov 2025

Streaming Single “Blood Drowned Prophecy” ft. Liv Jagrell (Liv Sin)

Canada’s undisputed Thrash Metal Gods Triskelyon return with their long-awaited 4th full-length, “Maelstrom of Chaos”, a relentless storm of speed, fury, and precision due out on November 28th, via Moribund Records.

Formed in 2021 by guitarist Geoff Waye of the acclaimed True Metal band Category VI, Triskelyon came roaring out of the gate with their self-titled EP and landed a deal with Moribund Records for their chart-crushing debut, “Downfall” (2022). They followed with the bone-splitting “Artificial Insanity” (2023), dominating radio for six weeks, followed by the apocalyptic “Shattered Elysium” (2024). Each release bigger, faster, heavier… and now comes the ultimate Thrash onslaught “Maelstrom of Chaos”.

For “Maelstrom of Chaos,” mastermind Geoff Waye once again summons an all-star cast of metal warriors from the Canadian scene and from the global scene. Enlisting the vocal talents of guests Liv Jagrell (Liv Sin), Amanda Jackman (Category VI), James Delbridge (Lycanthro), Carolina Padrón (Tribus, Bloodrain), Dale Drew (Sea Dogs), and Pete Healey (Marshall Law, Ex Oberon), this album reigns as a true Thrash Metal masterpiece. On drums, the thunder is split between Raul Marques (Burning Torment) and Nicole Trinchero (Chaos Rising, Acroma), while bass devastation comes courtesy of Dwayne Pike (Afterforever), Rick White (Within the Realm, Exorcist), and Darrin Pope.

In true Triskelyon fashion, expect more than Thrash – this is a molten fusion of Thrash, Speed, Power, Death-Thrash, and Traditional Metal. Wild and impressive, explosive riffs, razor-sharp solos, and skull-crushing rhythms resurrect the glory of the ‘80s while forging it into something bigger, louder, and deadlier for today.

In keeping with Triskelyon‘s tradition of closing their albums with an iconic cover, this release delivers the heaviest Metal rendition of Peter Schilling’s mega-hit “Major Tom” that the world will ever hear!

“Maelstrom of Chaos” is not just an album – it’s a Thrash Metal supernova. Brace yourself.

“One of my favorite albums of the year” ~Brutally Delicious Podcast

““Hellbound Hellions” follows and is just a great tune. That scream in the beginning and I knew immediately that Pete Healey was back for another album with Waye. The last of the opening trio and it is a slayer. Killer thrash riffs and Healey’s soaring vocals and a really sick solo makes this one of my favorites on the album.4.5/5” – Metal Rules

“It’s refreshing, for once, to discover a thrash band that aren’t geared towards utter devastation but, rather, crafting a record that an audience can simply put on and vibe to. With more than forty-five minutes to work with, the band still stuck to their guns and applied songwriting that saw every minute feel earned and needed for what their performance entailed.” – The Razor’s Edge

“Waye has shown he can write in any metal style and the guys he got together to perform are world class. The production is pretty big too so, if you like Megadeth, Agent Steel, Exodus, Overkill, etc. then there will be something on here that you like. Me? I liked it all! Hopefully, Canadian metal will be taken a bit more seriously with this release.” – My Global Mind

“classical Thrash Metal tracks and many 80s vibes.” – Metal-Temple

“Heavy, pounding, in-your-face, power metal-laced thrash” – Metal Crypt

“A who’s who of musicians in the Canadian Thrash scene! Riffs and soloing are nothing short of fantastic!” – MetalNoise

“Powerful at the right point but also epic, with sharp and anthemic vocal parts” MetalHead.it

“Power-Thrash equipped with murderous riffs on a technically first-class level with changeable exciting vocal variability.” – FFM-Rock

“Minimal filler and maximum melody!” – Heavy Music HQ

“Tighter than a shark’s arsehole and shows that Triskelyon are continuing to do what they do best.” – Metal-Digest

0 “Poems By a Poltergeist” Materializes as JULIET RUIN’s Most Haunted Creation Yet

“Poems By a Poltergeist” Materializes as Juliet Ruin’s Most Haunted Creation Yet

Canadian modern metal band Juliet Ruin returns with their most vulnerable and sonically ambitious release to date: the five-track EP “Regime,” their fourth studio offering, available this October 24th, 2025. Leading the charge is the haunting first single “Poems By a Poltergeist,” accompanied by a gripping lyric video (created by vocalist Jess Felming) that dives deep into themes of depersonalization, mental health, and emotional isolation.

“This song came straight from the pages of Jess’ journal. It’s about feeling like a ghost in your own life, angry, disconnected, and searching for meaning,” the band shares.

Formed in 2015, Edmonton, AB’s Juliet Ruin has evolved into a genre-fluid powerhouse known for its chunky, groovy, pretty, powerful, and catchy sound. With influences ranging from Spiritbox and Jinjer to Alexisonfire, the band blends metalcore, pop, and progressive elements into a style that’s both emotionally raw and technically sharp.

“Regime” is a sonic double-edged sword, balancing pop-infused vulnerability with bone-crushing breakdowns and the heaviest subject matter the band has ever tackled. From the introspective “Chrysalis” to the socially charged title track “Regime,” each song is a collaborative effort shaped by personal experience and collective passion.

“We wanted this EP to feel empowering but also understanding,” says vocalist Jess, whose scream vocals, honed during the COVID lockdown through YouTube tutorials and lucid dreaming, now anchor the band’s evolving sound.

The album artwork, created by longtime collaborator Feen Murray, uses abstract imagery of skulls and hearts to reflect the tension between emotionality and overthinking, a visual metaphor for the EP’s lyrical core.

“Regime” is more than just a record. It’s a statement. A safe space. A scream in the silence. And with “Poems By a Poltergeist,” Juliet Ruin invites listeners to confront their shadows and find strength in the echo.

“If you are a fan of the likes of JINJER, INFECTED RAIN, THE AGONIST and BUTCHER BABIES then the “Dark Water” E.P is one for you to check out. The E.P opens with the title track “Dark Water” as a ferocious riff creeps in as the rhythm section sounds away. From then the band are now in full swing as the very haunting sounding vocals coming in. The song leads to a sing along chorus with a cool lead line afterwards. When the breakdown hits the vocals add a sort of dreamy feel to it until the guitar solo sections kick in. Great way to start things off.” 8/10 – Metal Temple (2023 – Dark Water EP)

““Dark Water” by JULIET RUIN is a great listen and one I really enjoyed. From listening the vocals have a lot of range as Jess goes from hauntingly clean to aggressive death growls. The band has a very modern sound that is filled with great riffing and killer grooves. The songs here are great and you can hear their influences at times too. This is a band that, from listening to this, sounds like they need to be experienced in a live setting and I would love to hear more from them in the future.” – Metal Temple (2023 – Dark Water EP)

“As mentioned, Juliet Ruin is not a stranger to attention and praise and can expect a lot more with Dark Water. It is their most striking offering yet and with the new evolution in the band’s already potent sound, surely the first step to greater things.” – The RingMaster Review (2023 – Dark Water EP)

“Bang your heads to the new EP by this amazing Canadian Modern Metal crew, reflecting a turn to darker sounds and grittier vocals while still preserving the spirit of what makes the band who they are.” – The Headbanging Moose (2023 – Dark Water EP)

“Bloody love it! One of the best EPs I’ve heard this year so far. ” – Ever Metal (2023 – Dark Water EP)

Streaming Now! A Sonic Journey of Years Past with LITTLE KING’s 8th Studio Album “Lente Viviente”

After nearly three decades of pushing musical boundaries, Little King returns with their most ambitious and emotionally resonant release to date, “Lente Viviente,” set for release on all major platforms on September 26th.

Before the album officially drops, the trio has teamed up with V13.net for the full-stream premiere, which can be heard HERE.

Described by frontman and songwriter Ryan Rosoff as “Musical DMT,” “Lente Viviente” is a seven-track suite of “micro-epics” that blend progressive rock, melodic hooks, and heavy riffs into a tightly woven tapestry of sound and sentiment.

“A true listening experience should hit all the notes… sometimes contemplative, sometimes raging, but always engaged and honest. We feel like this record is the highlight of our 28 years of making music,” says Rosoff.

With Dave Hamilton (bass, cello) and Tony Bojorquez (drums), and a fresh studio environment, Little King has elevated their sound to new heights. The result is a dynamic, melodic, progressive, heavy rock experience that’s both cerebral and heartfelt.

From the first note to the last, “Lente Viviente” invites listeners on a short but mind-blowing journey. The album’s dynamic range and textured performances are designed to push and pull, offering music for both the head and the heart. Each track stands alone yet contributes to a larger narrative arc, one that explores themes of identity, aging, addiction, immigration, and the fragile balance between strength and vulnerability.

Lyrically, the album draws inspiration from Rosoff’s work with LivingLens Memoirs, his video memoir production company. The title itself, Spanish for “Living Lens,” is a nod to the interplay between memory and presence, perception and truth. Songs like “Catch and Release,” “Who’s Illegal?” and “Kindness for Weakness” reflect Rosoff’s background in creative writing and his deep commitment to storytelling through sound.

For the first time in Little King’s history, all three band members appear on the album cover. The artwork, centered around themes of reflection and perception, features a crown slightly off-center, a metaphor for the imperfect balance between artist and audience. As Rosoff puts it, “One is left to wonder what the world looks like from behind the band’s side of the lens… what do they see?”

A lean, powerful record that demands repeat listens, Little King’s “Lente Viviente” is recommended for fans of Rush, Porcupine Tree, Pink Floyd, Muse, Led Zeppelin, and is available for pre-order/digital pre-save (out Sept 26th) at https://show.co/nI24kSK

“Overall, this band showcased a sophisticated sense of melodies that were not overly complicated, but easy to assimilate as well. Not being familiar with them, I am surprised to learn of their longevity, and you wouldn’t know this was their eight album, because the drive and fire in them is very much alive in their music. 8/10” – Metal Temple

“Seven songs, clocking in at just over twenty-five minutes Little King pack a powerful and melodic cocktail of prog, rock and alternative. If Rush jammed with REM and King’s X it would sound a little like this. Impressive.” – Get Ready To Rock!

“Long-running Progressive Rock outfit Little King is unveiling “Dawn Villa,” the second single from their highly anticipated eighth studio album, Lente Viviente! A sonic time capsule wrapped in staccato riffs and melodic crescendos, “Dawn Villa” is a heartfelt tribute to frontman Ryan Rosoff’s formative years in Mercer Island, Washington. The track comes from their eighth album Lente Viviente, which is available for pre-order/digital pre-save now at the links below, and releases September 26th, 2025. If you grew up obsessed with the classic seventies prog rock greats like Rush, King Crimson, and Pink Floyd, with a modern flare for drama such as Muse or Neal Morse, Little King deserves your attention! ” – Ghost Cult Magazine

“Over nearly three decades, Little King has evolved from the El Paso roots of “Transmountain” to the intricate, personal soundscapes of “Lente Viviente,” blending complex arrangements, strong melodies, and lyrical depth.” – Progressive Rock Journal

“Tucson progressive rockers’ Little King are gearing up for the release of their 8th studio album, ‘Lente Viviente’ on Sept. 26th and have also just dropped their first single from the album, ‘Catch and Release’. This band truly pushes boundaries and yet makes modern prog rock very accessible. That is a difficult feat and a challenge many bands can’t overcome. But these fellas make it sound very simple, even though the music is quite complex. Similar to YES in that every instrument, including the vocals, all seem to be doing their own thing…but somehow it all works beautifully, and that is what good prog is about. Listen up for Little King on your Home for the Best New Rock… W-J-O-EEEE” – WJOE – Findlay’s Home for Rock & Roll

“Album “Lente Viviente” it presents emotions, classic playing and dynamic playing. The band recorded interesting arrangements with expressive performances. You can hear a personal and reflective album here, but there are many optimistic and optimistic sounds here. 4/5″ – W-Mgnieniu-Rocka
