NEWS RELEASE

Montreal, QC – April 17, 2023

The New Video “Come Alive” Is A Brilliant, Melodic Journey From L.A. Project (ft. guests from Annihilator, Exxocet)

Top Left – Lukky Sparxx, Top Right – Luis Amaro, Bottom Left – David Mendez, Bottom Right – Rich Gray

L.A. Project has a solid new EP “Electric Life” coming out July 223 and leading up to it, they are releasing their single “Come Alive”. The international melodic metal/rock group has been pieced together by top players in the game including bassist Rich Gray (Annihilator, Aeon Zen), and vocalist Lukky Sparxx (Exxocet) who have joined guitarist/visionary Luis Amaro. The response to the first single “Carry On” was very positive and they expect a similar reception with this new track. Amaro explains:

“David Mendez is a great session drummer from Argentina and he recorded all the drums in the EP with the exception of “Carry On” that is with Fabio Alessandrini (Annihilator). The video of this single was produced by Audiologic and I think it is great. It was a big challenge for me to create a visualization of the lyrics and I think we got it. The guitars, the bass and the drums are always doing something special and the great voice of Lukky keeps it all together. Hope you like it too.”

“Carry On” the first single started with 3 chords and developed from that. After recording the single Alessandrini was replaced by David Mendez on drums and they started working on the new single “Come Alive”. In this song, they bring out a heavier sound with more focus on the guitar parts. There are lots of layers in the track as all the new songs have three or four guitars playing at the same time, which gives it melodic texture and many things to focus on. Each playthrough offers a new perspective.

Detailed, inspiring, and powerful, L.A. Project is recommended for fans of Dokken, Hardline, and Jet Jaguar.

BAND STORY ANGLES / FUN FACTS:

Carry On, the first single we released started with 3 chords and developed from that. Fabio Alessandrini did a great job on the drums and got my idea and what was the spirit of the song Rich complete the music with is bass a Lukky finished the song.

After recording the single Fabio was invited to Bonfire and we replace him with David Mendez on drums and we started talking about working on the new single Come Alive. In this song, we try to put a little more heavy sound and more guitar stuff. The drum is very good and has some very nice rhythm lines. The video was a big challenge to me to create a visualization of the lyrics into an image and I think we got it.

NEWS RELEASE

Montreal, QC – December 7, 2022

L.A. Project (ft. guests from Annihilator, Exxocet) Announce Uplifting And Melodic New Metal Single “Carry On”

Top Left – Lukky Sparxx, Top Right Rich Gray, Bottom Left – Fábio Alessandrini, Bottom Right – Luis Amaro

L.A. Project is an international melodic metal/rock effort that was started by Luis Amaro during the pandemic. In order to bring his ideas to life, he recruited drummer Fábio Alessandrini (Annihilator, Bonfire), bassist Rich Gray (Annihilator, Aeon Zen), and vocalist Lukky Sparxx (Exxocet). In April, Amaro released L.A. Project‘s debut EP “5 Dimensions” and is now following it up with a fresh new single “Carry On”. When asked about the track and the listening experience they are trying to deliver, Amaro responds:

“We think fans will approach it with a lot of curiosity about the new band and sound. Because the first was a little bit of experimentation in different moods. And now we try to have a solid and consistent style of music. All the songs have shredding guitar and are very well played. There is some technical stuff but at the same time it’s very easygoing.”

“Carry On” is about the choices that sometimes you need to make and finding much-needed inspiration in your life. The lyrics are easy to identify with and are relevant to many situations in life whereas the music comes across with plenty of melody and enough of an edge to appease a variety of metal audiences.

The single was produced and mastered by Ricardo Fernandes who did mixing along with Rich Gray. The album artwork was done by Nicolas Oliveros. The melodic riffs in “Carry On” have plenty of attitudes, the vocals demand attention and the listener will be engaged throughout the four and half minute run time. It is recommended for fans of Dokken, Mr.Big, and Steelheart.
