Modern metal outfit Kingsphere, from Rybnik, Poland, is set to release the music video for their latest single “Archetype”, delivering a memorable metalcore experience that is both aggressive and emotionally vulnerable. The band comments on what listeners can expect:

“It is an intense and dynamic track that captures the essence of our sound. It combines heavy, hard-hitting verses with melodic and emotionally charged choruses, creating a powerful contrast. The energy is elevated by intricate guitar solos that add an electrifying edge and depth to the song. The track also features a mystical bridge, offering a moment of atmosphere and intrigue before diving back into its relentless energy.”

With two albums under their belts, 2012’s Self-Titled and 2022’s “Enigmatic”, Kingsphere’s sound has evolved naturally as they’ve grown as musicians and as a band. In the beginning, they focused on raw energy and heavy riffs, inspired by their love for modern metal. Over time, they’ve started experimenting with more dynamic elements—adding catchier melodies, atmospheric layers, and intricate rhythms—to create a more diverse and unique sound.

“Archetype” is a journey through aggression, melody, and emotion, reflecting both the raw power and the introspective side of the band. It is recommended for anyone who enjoys powerful clean vocals and heavy breakdowns, especially those with an interest in All That Remains, Born Of Osiris, and The Browning.

For fans of All That Remains, Born Of Osiris, The Browning, I Prevail

“Although we are still in the process of recording our third album album, we believe it will be the most enjoyable one. It’s unpredictable. There are a lot of surprises when it comes to each single. One can be softer and more nostalgic and the other could kick you right in the face.” – Kingsphere

About the Single Artwork:

The single artwork features a blindfolded woman in a red dress, standing in a grand palace. The imagery reflects themes of mystery, power, and inner struggle, tying into the central idea of “Archetype.” It symbolizes the search for identity and the battle between appearances and truth. Just like in the music video, it invites the listener to interpret its meaning and uncover their own connection to the story we’re telling.

Fun Facts – Story Angles

1. First, the self-titled album was a 2-person, online covid-era project (Marek Kula and Piotr Miliczek)

2. The name Kingsphere actually refers to the surnames of Marek and Maciej (Kula is “sphere” in Polish, and Sobieski was a Polish king)

3. All Kingsphere material is recorded in a home studio.

4. Most of the band members played with each other before at some point.

5. Many of the songs/elements of the songs have been written even before Kingsphere was formed.

Kingsphere was established at the turn of 2019 and 2020 in Rybnik, Silesia. Initially a two-person project, over time it turned into a full-fledged band that is currently actively performing. Kingsphere’s music is a clash of modern metal with old school melodic death metal, and all this is seasoned with a solid dose of electronics. The band has released two self-produced albums, available in digital distribution on most streaming platforms.
