“Ninjaspy’s reggae-fusion-meets-metal is even sweeter when played live…for me this was the best show of 2017 yet.”

The tone, mix and mood of the album is one of darkness, menace and depression. “II: Vanishing” will terrify your consciousness and haunt your soul into painful contortions

This one could almost land in the progressive rock category. I think the balance is probably closer to the metal end, though. This has a lot in common with stuff like Dream Theater and Rush. It’s a killer set of “thinking man’s music.” I’d love to hear more from these guys, as this is great.
0 Metal Observer – Divinity – The Imoortalist
Divinity have absolutely knocked it out of the park with this eventual third full-length release. Far from a pale imitation of its many and varied influences, The Immortalist is rather a perfect culmination of everything those impressive acts have so far sought to create. This record has the potential to be an absolute worldbeater if given a chance. If you have even a slight interest in any of the bands mentioned in this review, then you owe it to yourself to go and pick up a copy of The Immortalist immediately.

Out Now! Nu-Metal DIRTY MACHINE New Album ‘Discord’ via Zombie Shark Records

Built to last and refusing to follow the indie music scene that has been dominating California, DIRTY MACHINE has tasked themselves with bringing homegrown American Nu Metal back to the forefront of the industry. Based out of Los Angeles, the crowd this band draws has been moshing to their down-tuned rhythm since 2012. Consisting of David Leach (front man), Darren Davis (guitar, vocals), Arnold Quezada (guitar), NIGHTMARE (percussion), DJ Ecusa (turntable), and Youngblood (bass); the members of DIRTY MACHINE have brought together their eclectic musical backgrounds to form a powerhouse group that will not be fading away anytime soon. With major influences from bands such as Korn, Limp Bizkit, Slipknot, Linkin Park, Nonpoint, Mudvayne and Sevendust, DIRTY MACHINE has quickly built a rabid underground along with sharing the stage with Ghost, Sixx AM, Disturbed, Trivium, Hell Yeah, Alien Ant Farm, Otep, Metalachi, and Orgy.
Signing with Zombie Shark Records, DIRTY MACHINE‘s new album “Discord” is now available as of May 26th. The release features eight infectious tunes along with three bonus tracks produced with Ben Jovi at Left Coast Label Studios with mixing by Arnold “Hedge” Quezada and Darren Davis at Blunoize Studios along with mastering by Josh Wickman from Dreadcore Productions (KING 810, Within The Ruins).

MetalUndeground Premiere Sci-Fi Metal RAPHEUMETS WELL Album “Enders Door”
‘Enders Door’ Out May 26th via Test Your Metal Records

Hickory, N.C. sci-fi metal band RAPHEUMETS WELL (Ra-few-mets) has teamed with MetalUnderground.com for the premiere of their new album “Enders Doors” out now via Test Your Metal Records. Once again RAPHEUMETS WELL brings forth a voyage enriched with lore and a sound that is a complex mix of classical orchestrations, cosmic synths, and extreme metal to portray the epics of parallel worlds.
The synopsis of this next album “Enders Door” is in the fifth era of the Avomenian Empire, amidst the planetary ruins of Vaath, a rogue traveler would discover an artifact that would forever change his place in the cosmos. Upon arriving to retrieve the artifact, it became apparent that Eryos’s brother Nathyiem would never make it to their arranged meeting point. In departing from the planet Vaath, Eryos received a distress signal from his brother’s ship, coming from an uncharted planet. Upon arriving, he found a odd world inhabited by a mysterious species called the Dreth led by lecherous matriarch named Eishar. It is here that he would uncover a faced-door, an inter-dimensional gateway to the Ender.

About:
Inspired by the fictitious universe of Sovael, RAPHEUMETS WELL is the name coined to the conscious deity who oversees the anastomosis of the multiverse, the master of portals and inter-dimensional travel. Being personified as a trickster, Rapheumet often creates chaos for unsuspecting voyagers. The word “Well” refers to the gravity wells, which like black holes, are catalyst of change and gateways between the cosmic plains.
Formed in 2008, 2011 and 2012 saw their first two demos followed by their first self release full length ‘Dimensions’ unleashed in 2014 that progressively told a larger story portrayed in a complex saga of Atai (ancient architects) who aid in the propagation of sentient life throughout the multi-verse. In 2016, they released their highly praised sophomore album ‘The Exile’ via Test Your Metal Records.

“this album is chock-full of powerful, aggressive and moving sounds that show the diversity and complexity of the Symphonic Metal genre.” – 925 Rebellion
“Enders Door – a humongous piece of synth driven, border line operatic, epic death/black metal…. To sum this album up, it is necessary to underline two things: Enders Door is massive, balls to the wall, in a sense very American in the old-school sense of bigger-better. It does not let up for a moment. It is also, for all its dramatic, heavy and violent darkness somehow rather filled with joy. For something so complex and bulked-up, there is a real sense of fun emanating from every track. Whether delivering rabid tech-death riffs over hyper fast blast beats, or introducing female vocals over multiple layers of synthesizers, strings and double kick drums, Rapheumets Well keeps it intense and inspired.” – Archaic Triad
“The best symphonic metal albums understand the balance between the synths and the rest of the band, and Enders Door possesses that necessary element. Enders Door can also take you on a journey, offering a fantastic trip into unknown lands, which helps keep you on your toes. Most importantly, it lives up to the potential hinted at with The Exile, and should be an easy sell for fans of this style.” – Dead Rhetoric
“The sense of epic that exists throughout Enders Door hits instantly with its mix of heavy riffs, death metal vocals, classical orchestrations & synth effects.” – Games, Brrraaains & A Head-Banging Life
