Out Now! VVON DOGMA I Streaming Debut EP “Communion”
Created By Ex-Unexpect Bassist ft. 9 String Bass Frankenstein
New Video “Communion”

Inspired by artists as diverse as Radiohead, Meshuggah, Deftones, James Blake, Jean Baudin, Die Antwoord, Clint Mansell, Igorrr, Arvo Part and Hans Zimmer, Montreal’s VVON DOGMA I’s was created by lynchpin Frederick Filiatrault aka ChaotH whom was driven to form the group when his previous band Unexpect parted ways.
Experimenting with elements of prog, djent, funk, and electronic sampling plus featuring his frankenstein 9 string bass, VVON DOGMA I are now streaming their debut EP “Communion” for its official release today on October 27th. Frederick hopes that fans will get something truly special from the music that is a blend of everything he is musically and is definitely more accessible than what he has done in the past. The EP is a true trip for lovers of outside the box thinking with its bashing low ends to its pummeling and dominating 9 string bass accompanied by the ripping of an 8 string guitar along with some morbid electronic samples for good measure.
“I wanted to feature my freak instrument of a nine-string bass. It is often a Frankenstein of bits and pieces of writing. But I also want people to know it’s not about shredding or anything. I wanted to see how I could apply this weird playing style in a musically accessible venue. My art is song writing plus arranging and the 9 string is only one aspect of it. I find it definitely adds an interesting flavor. Hopefully people will see it for what it is as a whole.”

Currently on their European tour promoting their fourth album “Invaders” released earlier this October via Plan B Music, Montreal’s WARCALL have a new video “Bully Bastard” exclusively being premiered via NoCleanSinging.com.
“The song shows a different side to the style of the album, more groove oriented. We wanted to do a lyric video from this one because the text is interesting, talking about standing up to what you believe in. I see it as a very very heavy rock song.” says guitarist Mat.

WARCALL is inspired by Iron Maiden, Metallica, Motorhead, Dissection and Slayer, their music is fast, aggressive, melodic and dramatic. Unleashing three well-received albums under their bullet-belts (‘Demonarchy’, ‘Blood, Guts and Dirt’, ‘III’), their latest “Invaders” is a concept release based on humans fighting back an alien invasion with a message of fighting oppression, resisting, reconquering, but without knowing if it is really over.

NEWS RELEASE
Montreal, QC – October 24, 2017
For Fans of Lamb of God, DevilDriver, Chimaira, Hatebreed, Machine Head
ARISEN FROM NOTHING Premiere New Video “Chaos” via Bravewords
New EP Out Now “Broken” via Collective Wave Records
Limited Edition Blue Vinyl Available

Unleashing their latest EP “Broken” via Collective Wave Records this past September, Seattle groove metallers ARISEN FROM NOTHING have a new music video for their track “Chaos” exclusively premiered on Bravewords.com.
Watch “Chaos” at this link: http://bravewords.com/news/exclusive-arisen-from-nothing-premier-chaos-video
Inspired by Lamb of God, Five Finger Death Punch, Disturbed, Killswitch Engage, ARISEN FROM NOTHING’s sound can be best described as “aggressive, driving, groovy, powerful, brutal”. Their new EP draws influence from the state of the world around us and is a strident call for unity. As a whole, the EP is best described as their own twist on modern heavy metal, doing their best to deliver an element of groove that you can bob your head and tap your feet too, while remaining aggressive and fast enough to windmill and mosh. Rich melodic choruses, a lot of underlying melody in the riffs and solos, and drums that you feel in your chest.
Guitarist Troy Elmore comments:
“There’s a lot of subject matter fans should be able to relate to so I’m hoping it will be received well. Fans will appreciate the new AFN sound, and new direction the band is going in. We wanted songs that had moments of musical complexity but maintain a groove that gets your toes tapping and your head banging.”

In reference to BROKEN, Gary “G.A.” Allen of KHTQ Rock 94½ FM said, “Having followed you guys for awhile now I can honestly say this is one of those DNA in a bands evolution, really well done!”
“Broken opens with a bang. Chaos is a groove-laden slab of metal with killer riffing & a mix of guttural & clean vocals.” – Games, Brrraaains And A Headbanging Life
“Seattle natives Arisen From Nothing have pointed to a possible bright future with the release of this new EP. Modern metal they definitely are, but they employ enough old school techniques – you know, good playing, good songwriting, that kinda thing – to attain a sort of ‘best of both worlds’ state of metal grace that definitely marks them out as ones to watch.” – Sentinel Daily
“Broken, proves to be a 5 tracker of considerable pace and power featuring fluid solos, aggressive verses, semi-melodic choruses and all manner of Disturbed meets Chimaira (oh how we miss Chimaira!) meets Devildriver shenanigans to take a hefty bite out of…Big songs, big performances….Arise From Nothing could rise to be….BIG!” – Worship Metal
