Cold Meets Hot With NANOWAR of STEEL’s Summer Video ‘Norwegian Reggaeton’ ft. Charly Glamour of Gigatron

What would happen if the black metal greats took a break from burning churches to dance at a reggaeton party? Well, speculate no further because NANOWAR OF STEEL has the answer with their summer hit single ‘Norwegian Reggaeton’!
The Italian power metal parody band is feeling the heat of the summer with this mashup of speedy guitar work over the classic Reggaeton beat. Staying true to the dance hall genre they have a spicy chorus featuring Spain’s Charly Glamour of Gigatron.
The band comments:
“We think that this song is a long due tribute to the metal community. It is by and large unfair that while everyone dances on the beach, flirt with ladies in bikinis and enjoy the summer, we metalheads have lacked the proper soundtrack to do the same. But now, this song will allow us to twerk, dance and mosh without losing our metallic dignity.”
Get ready to light up your summer and dance with Varg and Fenriz in this imaginative and hilarious video that will get you banging your head and shaking your booty.

The single is available on Spotify, Bandcamp, Apple Music and all other major online retailers.

“Seasons- A fascinating ride through a stygian underworld in a chariot of fire driven by a demigod like being that wields both the power of life and death. With Avenged Sevenfold style instrumental phrasing, powerful dual vocal combination, and an awesome 2 verse bridge, Seasons is a scorching hell-ride. If you have a god, commit your mortal soul to him (or her) before embarking on your journey through the seasons of the underworld.” – Ginger Approved
“Juliet Ruin’s sound is comparable to a muddier version of Alexisonfire, with Ruin guiding the songs with her powerful voice while being backed up by Geislinger’s harsh screams and growls…. Juliet Ruin has been gaining more recognition after every concert with its single “Rogue Down” receiving a nomination at the Edmonton Music Awards.” – Vue Weekly (2017)
“Search no further than the Juliet Ruin playbook, it’ll teach you a thing or two. Their hard work and dedication are clearly paying off, and I predict that it won’t be too long until they become a commercial success. Yes, I’m willing to wager on it.” – Ravenkin Photography (2018)

SHORT BIO
Juliet Ruin was formed in 2015 from the ashes of previous project Fiction of Fate with the desire to fuse metal sound with clean technical vocal stylings in a way that is both beautiful and beastly.
Clean and spirited, Juliet Ruin is comprised of Jess Ruin (lead vocals), Kent Geislinger – (guitar/backing vocals), Wesley Rands (guitar), Cody Reid (bass/backing vocals) and Jesse Bauman (drums); creating an original sound chock full of catchy hooks that convey a fresh and emotive feel to their heavy music.
Juliet Ruin took the obligatory first step with their debut self titled EP in 2017 and quickly made their way through the local scene, captivating audiences with high energy interactions that evoke emotion, vulnerability and power over various local gigs and appearing at several festivals over their flourishing career.
The next exciting step for Juliet Ruin is the release of their first full length album ‘Old Stardust, Love and Chaos’ in 2019 that promises to be more technical with heavy instrumentation, including some dabbling in low tuned 7 string guitars. The lead vocals have added more screams but also more clean techniques with pop-esque power vocals.

Starting with a riff, the structure is bounced across the band until it reaches perfection with Ruin adding the final touches through the lyrics that touch on human experience and perseverance, the issues the world is facing or honest personal truths. The inspirations all usually come from an emotionally poetic point of view fueled by the general vibes of the music, current-event issues, messages of hope, and occasionally deep seething vengefulness.

“Play to Win, which might be their most balanced effort yet. It’s their most catchy, too: the likelihood you’ll be singing along with every song before they finish is very, very high.” – Metal Sucks
“expertly combined killer arena rock choruses with well-done, cleaner verses.” – Metal Injection
“Six albums in six years. That is something almost unheard of, even in the modern era of production that considerably lessens the time needed to record and mix albums. Striker always seems to provide a new album right around when I start to wonder, “Hey, I wonder what Striker is up to?”. PLAY TO WIN is the band’s 6th LP and to my ears, one of their best. Rest assured, the band has not altered their sound. This is still classic metal, mixed with modern elements that continues to leave all pretenders in a cloud of choking dust.” – Metal Rules
“You can hear influences ranging from Dokken to Metallica on Play to Win, and it’s all done with masterful songwriting, performances and production. This is a slick, aggressively-mixed record that drips with excitement and replayability… Striker have produced their best record since City of Gold, and all fans of straight-up hard rock and metal need to own this album.” – Heavy Music HQ
“Striker have knocked this one out of the park and into the stratosphere. You’d be hard-pressed to find a catchier slice of fine cheddar this year, and I’d highly recommend it.” – New Noise Mag
