Wacken Metal Battle Canada-Winners: Qualifying: Round 5 Toronto = Panzerfaust, Slyde; FINAL TRIGGER Announced As Special Guest Band For Final
Wacken Metal Battle Canada is proud to announce that Panzerfaust and Slyde have advanced from their qualifying round in Toronto to perform at the June 7th Semi final at the Rivoli.
The first semi final in Toronto will be taking place on May 31st at the Hard Luck Bar along with a Montreal semi final on June 7th at Katacombes with the nationalfinal in Toronto on June 22nd at the Opera House.
The last Montreal qualifying round will be on Friday, May 31st at Katacombeswith Karkaos, Valfreya, Hollow, Sanguine Glacialis. Bands will be judged by a panel of local music industry representatives.

In additional news, Toronto’s skrap metal innovators FINAL TRIGGER have been announced as the special guest band to perform at this year’s Wacken Metal Battle Canada final. The band recently returned from their USA tour with Mushroomhead and will be releasing their new album ‘Skrap Metal Vol. II’ on Boonsdale Records on July 9th. Their first single/music video ‘Face It’ can be heard and seen at the following link below.
