0 Thy Demons Be Scribblin – Vesperia – The Iron Tempests
Think Amon Amarth meets Epica and perhaps you’ll be in the right ballpark (minus the female vocals of Epica of course). Vesperia are a band you should definitely check out…Vesperia are definitely a band to put on your “To Watch Out For” list.

0 Metallian – Rhine – An Outsider, Like Animals – Feral
0 Bravewords – Gomorrah – The Haruspex (Test Your Metal Records)
So the vibe is there right off the bat, and the sonics deliver as well, the tunes occupying a nice sweet spot between Suffocation-influenced and Unique Leader-bound, stopping to hang out in tech-death land and brutal DM world for a bit along the way. Toss in an obvious respect for a heavy groove, and Gomorrah manage to touch on a surprising number of death metal sounds here.

0 Metal-Temple – Vantablack Warship – S/T
VANTABLACK WARSHIP unleash their first self-titled EP: “Vantablack Warship”, it is a blinding, lava filled Metal rocker. But what makes this band thrash me like a maniac and fist pump like a fool, you might ask? That is simple; they have the integrity of a purely hardcore Death Metal musical intelligence with an edge of added groove to give you that extra boost of power. Yannick “Pil” Pilon on vocals has a very original tone for a band with multiple elements in Metal; i.e., Thrash, Death and Black Metal while implementing in on some fantastic Hardcore intrigues.

0 Heavy Metal Time Machine – Double Experience – Unsaved Progress (Colfax Music)
0 Metal Bulletin – Necronomicon – Advent of The Human God (Season of Mist)
The long-running extreme metal band Necronomicon has a new album, a symphonic blasting death metal work that continues the sound for which the Canadians are known. Expect a professional album with a seriousness of purpose and hard work for supporters of modern extreme/black/death metal.
