Montreal prog metallers FRACTAL CYPHER are giving fans a taste of their softer side with their third single and ballad ‘Awakening’ off their upcoming debut album‘The Human Paradox’ set for a release on September 7th. The album is produced by Chris Donaldson (Cryptopsy, The Agonist, Beyond Creation, Neuraxis) and will be comprised of 9 songs, each hand picked and strategically chosen to best represent the living, breathing entity that is FRACTAL CYPHER.

FRACTAL CYPHER exists to captivate audiences with progressive instrumentals that cut through the mesmerizing vocals yet somehow evolving; each listen provides a new perspective. Hitting the road for a tour across Western Canada with their main stop being the Armstrong Metal Fest on July 15th, Winnipeg’s blackened death metallers ENTITY are premiering their new single ‘200,000 Years’ via NoCleanSinging.com. Biography:
Thundering in the distance of the Canadian prairies from the depths of Winnipeg hail four-piece ENTITY generating blasphemous death metal tainted with thrash. The four-year-old project grew out of a desire to generate terrifying metal complete with gratuitous solos and complimentary blast beats that whip each song into shape. They have had the pleasure of sharing the stage with such acts as Skeletonwitch, Cryptopsy, and legendary Canadian metal act Razor.
Carl Brown (bass), Kyle Braun (drums), Adam Kozak (guitar/vocals), Tyler Augusto (guitar) are constantly pushing their writing abilities to create music that sounds like an army pacing through the muddy trenches of war and emerges victorious. Their influences are present in each song, and elements from old school thrash to new school technical death metal can be extracted throughout. Instrumentally, the guitar tone pierces through the blasting drums and is stitched together with doomy vocals. Each song is written to be a map through a tremendous journey with the band as the listener’s adept guide.
The band has produced a staggering four albums over the course of 4 years and is ready to release the height of their musical efforts, ‘Phobia Of The Formless’ [LP] in early 2017. Their songs are filled with torturous lyrics that pair well with their high energy stage performance

Taking influence from Europe’s music festival circuit, Armstrong Metal Fest is a heavy metal celebration that encourages metal heads from across Canada and the globe to mosh and camp with the backdrop of great outdoors of British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley. What started as a backyard party in 2009 with nothing but eleven local metal bands such as Terrifier, Xul and Odinfist to name a few, has grown into a a huge success admired by the Western Canadian Metal scene. 2016 will be the eighth year of the festival and is planned to be the largest year for music and attendance yet. About:
The cloudy beginnings of VESPERIA lay etched in the gorged bodies of former musical projects among the now four-member band. Twisting, writhing and forcing their aural onslaught upon metal audiences across the globe have sincerely ensured the band’s continuity through all the harsh and arduous battles modern metal bands are bound to encounter in their tenures.
Established in 2012 by vocalist/ bassist Morgan Rider, the sound, direction and theme of the music quickly and naturally evolved into the style of fierce and heroic metal the band is now known and praised for.
Shortly after releasing their first full-length album Voyage from Vinland, VESPERIAredefined themselves and further focused their direction with the 2012 demo, The Swordsman. In 2013, the band independently funded and released their 2nd full-length album An Olden Tale, drawing the ears and attention of metal fans around the world and demonstrating their true mastery of their craft. During that same year, the band also independently funded and completed several Canadian tours to support the album.
Early 2015 saw the band enter the studio once again to record some demo material, which would become The Iron Tempests EP. During this time, the band toured Canada from coast to coast and also made an appearance at Wacken Open Air in Germany, where they won the title of 2015 International Wacken Battle Champions, a second time win for the band’s frontman, Morgan.
With their most fierce music written to date and a bounty of opportunity awaiting,VESPERIA continue to hungrily eye 2015 as the year they will make their mark upon the Earth.
