Celebrating 16 years of extreme music in British Columbia’s scenic Okanagan Valley, Armstrong MetalFest is proud to announce its return for 2027. Fans can expect another milestone year of headbanging, thrash wrestling, camping, and pure Okanagan chaos at Canada’s ultimate mountain mosh pit.
Armstrong, BC’s Hassen Arena will host the 2027 festival lineup on July 16th and 17th. Following the massive success of their ferocious 2026 event, which featured powerhouse acts like co-headliners Rivers of Nihil and Dying Fetus, joined by Cyborg Octopus, Into Eternity, Fervence, Vintersea, Lycanthro, Iron Kingdom, Odinfist, Art of Attrition, and many more, organizers are gearing up for another legendary summer weekend. Expect an unforgettable mix of heavy riffs and intense mountain mosh pits.
AMF will begin taking band applications for its 2027 lineup from October 1st to 15th. Bands are welcome to become a part of another chapter in the festival’s growing legendary legacy.

Tickets for AMF 2027 will be announced at a later date, granting general admission and access to the festival grounds, camping area, and arena from 9:00 AM on Friday, July 16, 2027, until 10:00 AM on Sunday, July 17, 2027. Free camping is included.
Please Note: Camping – RV / Non-Hookup RV / Vehicle Passes: Make sure to reserve your vehicle spot to get the best location on the grounds. A fee is required for a weekend pass per vehicle in addition to your day or weekend pass. RV hookups include water and power. If you park your vehicle outside the camping area in the main parking lot, a vehicle pass is not required.

Since its inception in 2009 (with a brief hiatus in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic), West Metal Entertainment and Armstrong MetalFest have championed hundreds of local bands while welcoming renowned international acts to the quiet town of Armstrong, British Columbia.
Every year, metalheads from across Canada and the U.S. converge on the scenic Okanagan Valley for three days of camping and two days packed with heavy metal mayhem. Under the blazing summer sun, fans revel in live performances, wrestling spectacles, scavenger hunts, and reconnecting with their extended metal family.
Armstrong MetalFest has hosted legendary headliners such as Kataklysm, Cattle Decapitation, Archspire, Nekrogoblikon, Origin, Warbringer, Fallujah, Striker, Beyond Creation, Born of Osiris, Havok, The Browning, Virvum, and rising stars from across North America and Europe. When the final riff fades, the festival vanishes without a trace, leaving the landscape as untouched as before.
West Metal Entertainment, a non-profit society, not only produces Armstrong MetalFest annually but also supports the regional music scene by organizing performances at various venues, including all-ages shows, to inspire musical passion in both youth and adults.
