BAND STORY ANGLES / FUN FACTS
1. NeoNera filmed the video for Saviour in a collapsing former coffee factory on top of raccoon waste and dead birds.
2. Music Video actress (Alice) was easily the coldest person that day. In between scenes, the band gave her a blanket, but she never complained.
3. NeoNera dropped out of a festival because the promoter/organizer tried to silence their song Saviour’s message on social media.
4. NeoNera once played a show in the center of the sun. Played at venue at about 4pm and the sun was directly on us making it feel about 600 degrees up there.
5. Social justice isn’t a bad word.
6. Right band wrong bill. NeoNera should have played upstairs. This about the fact that we are usually the heaviest or the lightest band on a bill. We get booked with both metalcore bands and alt almost pop rock bands.
L-R: Stephanie Leger (bass, backup vocals), Dylan Gunnell (guitar, lead vocals), Evan McCluskey (drums, backup vocals)

NeoNera mixes progressive percussion with dynamic, driving bass and manic grunge guitar riffs, NeoNera is a three-piece alternative rock band from Ottawa, Canada. The band’s vocals blend frantic whispers, pounding highs, soulful lows with cathartic screams, and lyrics that peel the layers of conceit and corruption from our NEON ERA. An era of social media perfection and celebrity worship that hides scars beneath, fractured relationships, and even the voices in our own heads- all are stripped bare.
NeoNera plays live sets that offer frenzied energy, poor banter, and heavy yet danceable rock music.
