“The time is now for Sven Gali to rock our world once again, with their short and sweet brand new EP being a solid statement that although the band might have been gone for a while, they still have a lot of fuel to burn in the name of Rock N’ Roll.” – The Headbanging Moose
“It’s a banger and a return befitting of their iconic status in the metal.” – Games, Brrraaains & A Head-Banging Life

“modern metal, and some groovin’ hard rock. Cool catchy music.” WORT 89.9 FM – Mosh Pit Radio (Madison, WI)

“I was super excited to be given the opportunity to review 3. I remember picking up their debut album when it was first released and being blown away then. In 2020, I have been reminded of that overwhelming feeling. The songs are extremely well written and do not sound dated at all. When June 12th rolls around, grab yourself a copy of this killer EP.” – I’m Music Magazine
“Musically, it is still a juicy mix of hard rock and heavy metal, with some even harder passages” Metalized Magazine (DK)
“And thank God the Canadians have mostly found their hard rock sound again…’3′ is the first bundled sign that Sven Gali is obviously up to something again” – Stormbringer

“Crunchy guitar runs, rich grooves and a good knack for exciting songs come together here… `3` gives hope for a good, third album” – Streetclip
“Welcome back Canadian rock blokes!… Frank, Wanless and bassist Shawn Minden are all Sven Gali originals, and it’s this spine that gives the band it’s pleasing link between ancient and modern… Good to have them back, and worth a listen, if you like a well-played rock song.” – The Rock Pit
“Sven Gali is back. That is obvious. These Canadians show at 3 that they are ready to really treat the listener to that third long player. Hard rock in its full glory.” – White Room Reviews
“My tip on this entertaining EP is the Smasher Now . There is no better way to play melodic hard rock with a noble metallic alloy. That makes a whopping 9/10.” Sound Magnet
Signing with RFL Records & Entertainment, SVEN GALI will be releasing their new EP entitled “3” on June 12, 2020. Known for their fusion of 80s screaming hard rock and 90s blazing metal, the new EP features their two previous released singles “Kill The Lies” (2018) and “You Won’t Break Me (2019) both produced by David Bendeth (Paramore, Breaking Benjamin, Bring Me The Horizon) along with new tracks “Now” and “Hurt” produced by Jon Howard (Threat Signal).
SVEN GALI built a name fast with their live shows; drawing growing crowds on the Canadian and US circuit while building their songwriting chops and a wild reputation. David Bendeth signed the band to BMG Music Canada in 1991 and produced the self-titled debut, released in 1992.
The masterful debut album includes the hit, which was the MuchMusic Best Metal Video award of 1993, “Under The Influence” and the emotional sweet balladry of “Love Don’t Live Here Anymore”, a song that came no. 6 CanCon song of 1993. Following their profound release, the band was nominated for Hard Rock Album of the Year and Most Promising Band by Canada’s most prestigious music awards, the Junos. SVEN GALI also went gold in Canada that year.
Following extensive touring worldwide, being a major event on stages with legends (April Wine / Foreigner / Pearl Jam / Def Leppard), SVEN GALI didn’t stop there, and continued their journey with the release of their sophomore, “In Wire”, in 1995.
Just recently, after a long time in the shadows, Twenty-five years after their debut album went Gold in Canada, in 2018 SVEN GALI came back rockin’, kicking out the jams with the modernized edged rock covered in metal with an early version of “Kill The Lies” and “You Won’t Break Me” in 2019.
It appears that SVEN GALI are here to take on the 00s, and it has been evident with sold out Canadian shows in 2018 and 2019 and a promise to continue to play solo and festival dates in North America and Europe through 2020 and beyond.
