NEWS RELEASE

Montreal, QC – March 3, 2020

For fans of Motorhead, W.A.S.P., Kill Cheerleader, Pantera, Black Sabbath

Halifax’s TURBO Kick Nitro Rock Into Full Gear w/ Single ‘Alive’

Cruising in from the Canadian Maritimes is TURBO, brandishing their signature brand of potent “Nitro-Rock”. To introduce this onslaught of riffs and madness to the world, they are releasing their debut album “Fast As Fvck” later this year and kicking the party off with the single ‘Alive’.

Between them, the members of TURBO have played every loud-music genre there is to name and these experiences have worked together to shape the current sound with an emphasis on rock and punk. These genres formed the base for their planned debut full length, which TURBO explains in their own words:

“Fast as Fvck is a sort of homage to true rock and roll in its most vicious and visceral form. Each of the seven tracks hit like a swift kick to the teeth from a whole new angle of attack, but the assault is far from a mindless battering to the eardrums. The album ebbs and flows through different moods and subtleties with sophisticated craftsmanship.”

Coined as a gateway drug into the gritty rock-and-roll lifestyle, it’s raw, real and punches full of passion. The in your face attitude that radiates from the album, is translated into the stage presence of the group and they quote:

“Alive, which is more or less a written testament to bad-decisions with one of the most badass riffs on the album slapped on top of it. The song features a call-and-response guitar harmony and an anthemic chorus. There’s not too much more to say on it apart from being among the most fun songs on the album; definitely one to do a keg stand along to.”

Recommended for those who like W.A.S.P., Motorhead and Guns n’ Roses, fans that take interest in this fresh record shouldn’t have to wait too long for another dose, as writing has commenced for more tunes to follow once the debut album is out.

Listen to ‘Alive’ via its premiere on Bravewords HERE.

About:

Like your disheveled uncle on Christmas morning, Turbo is trashed, pissed off, sleazy, mean, and sick of your shit. Coming at you hard and fast from the east coast of Canada, rages Turbo. An eclectic mix of rock, punk, and metal, this is what would happen if nitroglycerin had a soundtrack. High impact is the name of the game for them and they are bringing the grit to listeners around the world.

With 100% collaborative effort, the themes that fuel Turbo lyrics revolve around personal experiences or things that just come up while they’re writing the music to a particular piece. The focus is that all the bandmates are able to relate to everything they sing about. It’s real, edgy, and visceral.

The highly potent debut album “Fast as Fvck” is on the way for 2020; metal enough for the heshers, punk enough for the threshers, and rocking enough to satiate the haughtiest of purests; welcome to Turbo’s patented “Nitro-Rock”.

NEWS RELEASE

Montreal, QC – March 3, 2020

For fans of Fates Warning, Metal Church, Testament, Stratovarius, Iced Earth

LOST LEGACY New Video ‘Will You Remember’

Tour Dates w/ Whiplash, Doro, Flotsam & Jetsam

New Album “In The Name of Freedom” Out March 20th via Pure Steel Records

New York power metallers LOST LEGACY have released their latest lyric video for ‘Will You Remember’  in support of their new album “In The Name of Freedom” due out March 20, 2020 via Pure Steel Records. The track mixes power metal and thrash into an exciting tune that delivers great guitar riffs and amazing guitar solos from both guitarists along with showcasing vocalist Dave Franco’s range.

The band comments:

“This song has an early “Fates Warning” vibe that is followed by a thrash style riff that is fast and furious. This song features a twin lead guitar attack that shows Jorge’s melodic style and Scott’s shred fest that will excite the guitar fan listeners. This is another song that Dave shows his range and fire with his inspired performance.”

Watch and listen to ‘Will You Remember’ – https://youtu.be/UTrxwRJZ7Kk

Featuring forty-six minutes of pure metal, LOST LEGACY‘s sophomore release is a concept album serving as an act II to their debut full length, which was inspired by the tragedy of 9/11.

The band explains:

“The concept of ‘In The Name of Freedom’ is our way to thank our men and women of the armed forces for their sacrifice. It’s not about glorifying war, but these gallant people give so much and are often forgotten.”

LOST LEGACY has been around since 1998 and their dedication to their craft shows. Having four excellent musicians and a vocalist that can play guitar and write riffs makes for a plethora of ideas. With Franco’s vocal capacity and range, it has transformed them to write music that enhances his vocal performances and gives the band the freedom to play intellectual metal.

LOST LEGACY discusses their expectations of the album:

“We believe that this album is a genuine representation of how we sound in a live setting. We take great pride in putting on a great show and when we approached this record, we wanted to have a live band feeling. Our fans will be pleased with the songs, the sound, and the production. The music has catchy guitar-driven riffs and soaring vocals. We promise it will deliver great energy and inspiration to fans of classic power metal.”

For fans of  Fates Warning, Metal Church, and Testament, LOST LEGACY is classic power metal with a modern edge.

About:

Lost Legacy was founded in 1998 in The Bronx, New York and has gained the reputation of a power metal band known for playing melodic music with an attitude. Both classic and modern, Lost Legacy combines lyrical messages that are positive and uplifting with strong vocal performances from Dave Franco.

With decades of experience, Lost Legacy has always had a heavy sound performed by excellent musicians. A professional band, Lost Legacy brings an assault of aggressive guitars, melodic riffs and a classic sound that brings together all the elements and tradition of power metal and thrash. Stage presence and entertaining the fans are of paramount concern to the band who pride themselves on their stage show. With an abundance of energy and they put their heart and soul into each show. Although very centric on power metal, the music has a lot of nuances that give each song a different feel and the crowd is kept on their toes with rhythm changes, tempo changes and melodies that stick.

“NY’s Lost Legacy Has Been Turning Out the Metal for Over Ten Years. A Killer Six Piece Band Who Know Their Instruments And How To Use Them. Raw Power And Pure Talent Is What You Get.” – Mike The Big Cheese, Heavy Metal Mayhem

“Lost Legacy a metal band out of Bronx NY, that formed in 1998 The latest album “The Aftermath” came out in 2009 which was a tribute to those who lost their lives in 9/11. Some of the songs are Towers, Time Will Heal, Light The Candles, their music is packed with energy, catchy riffs and powerful vocals. A tour de Force.” – Robin Souls, Metal Messiah Radio

“It has been my pleasure to work with the band members of Lost Legacy. I found them on social media back in 2008 and was immediately drawn in by the timbre of David Franco’s voice, the guitar riffs are executed in their presentation, and the bass and drums finish off this bands talent by providing a solid foundation for metal madness at its best! Their original music content is well written and has a powerful impact, as in one of their songs Towers. Their music will engulf you and take you on a journey, one that no one would easily forget. The metal world needs to move over and make room for Lost Legacy.” Syria, Producer, and former DJ on Renegade Radio

NEWS RELEASE

Montreal, QC – March 3, 2020

For fans of Manowar, Blind Guardian, Helloween, Iced Earth, Saxon

Lycanthro Announce Canadian Tour Dates + Hyperspace Metal Festival

New Album “Mark of The Wolf” Coming 2020 via Alone Records

Ottawa power thrash quartet Lycanthro announce they will be hitting the road this coming April for dates across Central and Western Canada along with performing at this year’s Hyperspace Metal Festival in Vancouver, BC, which includes Helion Prime, Iron Kingdom, Unleash The Archers, Immortal Guardian, and Power Glove among its three-day line-up. (tour dates listed below)

Combining power, thrash and speed metal with lyrical themes based on classic horror and mythology, Lycanthro unleashed their debut EP “Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse” in 2018. The EP introduced the band’s heavy, yet melodic sound, with influences from both European and American power metal styles, along with classic thrash. Frontman James Delbridge’s howling high vocals meshed with piercing guitars, a booming rhythm section as well as uses of instruments such as piano and classical guitar forged a lasting powerful sound on their local metal scene and beyond.

With 2020 kicking into full throttle with their first-ever Canadian tour, Lycanthro found it to be perfect time to announce the release of their first full length “Mark of The Wolf” via Greek label Alone Records later this year.

Vocalist/guitarist James Delbridge comments:

“This album will be a diverse listening experience. Even though everything in one way or another is under the umbrella of power or thrash metal, there is something for everyone on ‘Mark of The Wolf’ in terms of melodic metal. There are soaring high vocals, epic guitar solos, lots of harmonies, heavy chugging riffs, a few odd instruments, and even a breakdown or two. Lyrically, the content is varied and we think fans will appreciate the different dimensions this album goes to. Some songs are homages to different stories from pop culture and media that we hold near and dear to our hearts, other songs are meant to bring the listener on a journey through the worlds within the song, and others are just to the listener can marvel in the epicness of metal!”

“Mark of the Wolf” will feature 10 high voltage tracks, all recorded once again at Wolf Lake Studios in Lac-des-Loups, Quebec. The album was mastered by Jack Kosto, who is best known as the lead guitarist for power metal band Seven Spires. Lycanthro also brought in a professional chamber choir for the song ‘Fallen Angels Prayer’, which is a planned single off the full length.

Delbridge adds:

“It’s always a unique experience to record there, as essentially, it’s a studio in a cabin in the woods. The area is very atmospheric and there’s isn’t that many outward distractions around so we can be productive and focus on the music. It’s like a camping trip mixed with recording!”

Lycanthro‘s debut EP “Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse” is available for stream and download on the following platforms:

Rockshots Records: Kult Of The Skull God New Video ‘Black Magick’; Debut Album “The Great Magini” Out May 8th

Kult Of The Skull God unveil their first single and video ‘Black Magick’ off their forthcoming debut album “The Great Magini” due out May 8th, 2020 via Rockshots Records. Taking inspiration from the titans of rock including Danzig, The Rolling Stones and Black Sabbath they have combined slick heavy riffs with smooth yet haunting vocals that are perfectly demonstrated on the first track ‘Black Magick’.

“Killitorous already given the widespread success and tech-death scene’s mass awareness of their 2014 debut album, Party, Grind. If not, you missed out, and the band is dropping their second album, The Afterparty, on May 22nd through Tentacle Industries. Only this time the group has expanded their line-up to adopt a triple-guitar attack within a tech-death setting and the results are fucking awesome.” – Metal Injection

“This Canadian death metal band is a party in black wifebeaters. In their video for the aptly-titled “Married With Children,” Killitorous hired a middle-aged woman to get crazy in the pit of a basement show. Excellent work, gentlemen.” – Loudwire

“Well F*ck me lifeless with possibility and throw my rotting corpse down a well with joy; if such an album hasn’t become manifest. It’s here for all to relish in the form of PartyGrind by Canada’s own Killitorous.” – The Circle Pit

“Killitorous Don’t Suck Sh*t” – MetalSucks

Looking to become the band they never saw, Killitorous is comprised of the passion to grind and the general love of technical death metal.

Formed in 2006 in Ottawa, Canada; Killitorous is made up of current and former members of Annihilator, Suffocation, First Fragment and a myriad of other bands. Determined to sound like a combination of their one million favorite death metal bands they envelop technical death metal in an eternal party. A bit cheeky and a metric f*ck ton of fun, Killitorous is that raunchy but charismatic friend who fuels every party.

Killitorous is a chaotic concoction, best described as technical party chaos death grind and it’s a true 90s death metal experience complete with one hell of an AfterParty!

Their latest album “The Afterparty” due out May 22, 2020 via label Tentacles Industries is the follow up to 2014’s “Party, Grind”, which was also co-produced, mixed and mastered by Chris Donaldson (Cryptopsy, Despised Icon, The Agonist, Shadow of Intent) at The Grid in Montreal, Quebec.

The album features three guitars (which in terms of recording was a nightmare), tons of blast beats, brutal bass and vocals, plus of course tons of movie references, cartoon parodies and endless phrases maintaining the fine art of partying.

The guests on “The Afterparty” are just as you’d expect from a great metal bash that includes Dan Mongrain (Voivod/Martyr), Riley McShane (Allegaeon), Leo Diensthuber (Divine Realm), Cody Ford (Soen), Raphael Weinroth-Browne (Leprous), Youri Raymond (Unhuman), Callum Clark (Ending Tyranny), Paul Ablaze (Blackguard), Matt McGachy (Cryptopsy), Tom “Fountainhead” Geldschlager (ex-Obscura), Gore Lussier (Erimha), Bob Katsionis (Firewind), Steven Henry (Neuraxis).
