Out Now! AS I MAY’s New Album “My Own Creations” via Rockshots Records
Finnish modern metal act AS I MAY have released their second album ‘My Own Creations’ as of July 26, 2019 via labels Rockshots Records and Spiritual Beast(Japan). The sophomore full length is a fast-paced blend of modern metal with metalcore highlights. It’s heavy, melodic and unique; and sonically more mature than AS I MAY‘s previous release “Speak No Evil” (2017). Working on writing music that is easy to identify with a digital atmosphere, AS I MAY make their listeners headbang and sing along to the catchy choruses.
Paying homage to many old school metal bands, In Flames fans will find a special affinity for this Finnish act.
The band had this to say about the release of ‘My Own Creations’:
“‘My Own Creations’ is modern, melodic, heavy, unique sound trip for the listener. It’s one story from beginning to end. People can identify with the songs and atmosphere. At one point you will be headbanging and the next you will singing catchy choruses. The album goes through a full scale of emotions. There are a lot of unique hand crafted tones on it.”
The band has released three singles prior to the album’s release ‘I See You In Me‘, ‘Cure Is Worse Than Disease‘ and ‘Pride Goes Before A Fall’. The songs have already had over 100,000 combined Spotify streams.
