Italy’s Evil Thrashers MALAMORTE Resurrect The “Antichrist” With New Lyric Video
New Album Out “Hell For All” In 2019, Jan 25 (EU), Feb 8 (NA) via Rockshots Records
Malamorte; the side project of Alex Nunziati (Lord Vampyr, Cain, Nailed God, Shadowsreign, Sepolcrum, ex VII Arcano, ex Theatres des Vampires) is a ferocious evil metal band hailing from Italy. Telling tales of the occult, mysticism and more with a back drop of power, thrash and black metal, the band will be offering their third full length “Hell For All” via Rockshots Records on January 25, 2019 (Europe) and February 8, 2019 (North America). Ready to resurrect the “Antichrist”, the band is sacrificing their first lyric video in support of the album at the following link:
“Hell For All” was written as a cohesive album, with each song being composed in a complementary fashion to the rest of the tracks. Compared to their 2016 album “Devilish Illusions”, this new record brings more thrash and power elements as the band deviates from their black metal origins.
Keeping the listener in mind, Malamorte desires to formulate a trip, one that “alternates hard times to more reflective or lighter moments” and can be played on repeat with each new listen creating a new perspective. Quality and energy are the primary focuses for these Italians, who allow their fans to escape into an alternate reality and cite influences from a broad range of musical greats including Mercyful Fate, King Diamond, Iron Maiden and Slayer.

BIO:
MALAMORTE is a side project of Alex Nunziati (Lord Vampyr, Cain, Nailed God, Shadowsreign, Sepolcrum, ex VII Arcano, ex Theatres des Vampires) and was born in 2009. The first album “The Fall of Babylon” was recorded in 2009 and out on CD and tape in 2014. In 2015 “Devilish Illusions” is out, produced by MurdHer Records & Satanath Records. In 2016 they went to the studio in October to record the new album. After two album of Heavy/Black Metal the new way for the next album is oriented towards Occult/Doom Heavy Metal sound (Mercyful Fate, Black Sabbath). In March 2017, Malamorte signed a worldwide deal with Pure Steel Records and in June 2017 the new album “Satan Goes to Heaven to Destroy the Kingdom of God” was released.

Glasgow’s ATLAS : EMPIRE will be releasing their debut album “The Stratosphere Beneath Our Feet” on December 7th, 2018. Weaving their way between the multitudes of different genres that influence them, the trio visit the worlds of heavy progressive rock and expansive ambient shoegaze. Across its 10 tracks, we delve into different aspects of that very-possible future, with each song takes place before, during or after a mass technological collapse, from the perspective of a different ‘character’.”

Since forming in 2011, ATLAS : EMPIRE have enjoyed success both through their recordings and several tours crossing the UK, the EU and Eastern Canada, including performing at Indieweek in Toronto.
To date the band has released 3 EPs, “To The Astronaut…” (2012); “Somnus” (2013) and “For the Satellites” (2015) with “The Stratosphere Beneath Our Feet” as their 2018 debut full length.

Releasing their 4 song mini-album “Prelude To An Impending Outcome” at the beginning of November, Montreal prog quartet FRACTAL CYPHER confirm they will be hosting their local CD album launch on January 11th, 2019 at the infamous Foufounes Electriques. Joining them on the line up will be a stack of talent from Montreal’s progressive metal scene with Darkeon, Unbeing, Moth and Unveil. Full details can be found here.
The band’s new mini-album “Prelude To An Impending Outcome” was produced by Chris Donaldson (Cryptopsy, The Agonist, Beyond Creation) and promises to be a roller coaster of genres across completely different sounding songs with intimate lyrics influenced by personal experiences. Each track has a different prominent genre influence from power ballad, blues, djent and jazz with the band’s heavy and melodic base as an anchor. The album artwork was done by Silent Q Design out of Montreal and foreshadows the moody and existential prog metal that lies within. Although this album is more intimate with different textures and influences, the reception to its predecessor should be a prime indication of the talents of FRACTAL CYPHER; this next release is sure to be a masterwork.

“’Prelude To An Impending Outcome’ is a mini album of 4 songs that are completely different from one to another to create a maximum roller coaster effect and make it non linear and interesting to listen to. The clash of style is more important and more obvious than our previous album, but the songs have gained in maturity in term of songwriting and sound. The vibe of this mini-album is really more intimate, due to the lyrics and the overall ambiance/universe of the songs. The melodic side of the band is still really present, offering catchy vocal lines and outstanding solos all over the songs.”

Each gig promises to be a preview of the new album and a totally crazy 90’s death metal/noise core live experience. The East coast dates will have special guests The Blood of Christ and select West coast dates will include Blackwater Burial.

Ominous Eclipse are Death. Not ‘Melo-Death’. Not ‘Symphonic Death’. Not ‘Tech-Death’. Not ‘Ultra-brutal Death’. Just…death. They are old school, laid-back, easy listening Death, (I think I just invented a new sub-genre) kinda like Cannibal Corpse and Obituary. These guys look pretty young from the booklet, but they have been listening and appreciating the old masters and fortunately SINISTER is not tainted with modernity…If you enjoy, well-executed, old school Death Metal, than Sinister is worth your time to listen to.
