Nu Metal outfit DIRTY MACHINE from Los Angeles, California have inked a worldwide deal with Zombie Shark Records, the new record label from Noah “Shark” Robertson (Motograter, Ex-The Browning). The band’s latest album ‘Discord’ was produced by Ben Jovi and Dirty Machine at Left Coast Label Studios. The album was mixed by Arnold “Hedge” Quezada and Darren Davis at Blunoize Studios, and was mastered by Josh Wickman from Dreadcore Productions (KING 810, Within The Ruins).

DIRTY MACHINE has been heralding the nu-metal flag since 2012 and pulls major influences from nu-metal era bands such as Korn, Limp Bizkit, Slipknot, Linkin Park, Nonpoint, Mudvayne and Sevendust. The band quickly built a rabid underground following, especially in the Kansas City area, due to getting regular airtime on the leading Kansas City rock station “98.9 The Rock” and headlining the Jägermeister Stage at the 2016 Kansas City Rockfest. DIRTY MACHINE has shared the stage with Ghost, Sixx AM, Disturbed, Trivium, Hell Yeah, Alien Ant Farm, Otep, Metalachi, and Orgy.

Calgary, AB progressive death metal band DIVINITY have their next offering for the metal gods in their new album “The Immortalist”, a culmination of 5 years of hard work and dedication to their craft. The album features 12 tracks that include their two previous EP releases “The Immortalist, Pt. 1 – Awestruck” and “The Immortalist, Pt. 2 –Momentum” with their 3rd EP “The Immortalist Pt. 3 – Conqueror” now finished completing the trilogy series for one huge full length album. All the tracks on the album are re-mixed and re-mastered by the talented Chris Donaldson (Cryptopsy, The Grid Productions) to make the songs more cohesive and work as a full-length album experience. This album also features Bjorn ‘Speed’ Strid of Soilwork on vocals for the song ‘D.M.T.’. About:

Divinity, based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, started in 1997 and began playing live shows in 1999. In 2001, the band released its first EP album called “Intensify” which received a lot of local (Canadian) praise after sending in a couple songs to BWBK’s ‘Knuckletrack’ CD sampler. A music video was released for the song “World of Pain” in 2003 and the band played local shows building its show experience.

Fast forward to 2007, Divinity independently releases their first full-length album called “Allegory” and is picked up by Nuclear Blast Records just 3 months after the independent release. Obviously, this was a major turning point for the band!

In 2008, Divinity took on its first major tour by joining the Summer Slaughter Canada tour. This gave them the opportunity to connect to high-calibre booking agents and other acts such as Dying Fetus, Whitechapel, and Necrophagist.

In 2009, Divinity spent it’s time creating their 2nd full-length album, called “The Singularity” which was released under Candlelight Records with a very positive response from numerous reviewers and listeners.

Since the release of The Singularity, Divinity has toured Canada numerous times over and has received massive support and praise from around the world.

The band is currently releasing a trilogy EP concept album now turned into a full-length LP, called ‘The Immortalist’ available May 26th, 2017 at all digital music stores and as a special limited run CD Digipak.

Influenced by bands such as Symphony X, Dream Theater, Haken, Plini, Rush along with classical, jazz and progressive rock, Montreal-based CYDEMIND will be releasing their first full length album ‘Erosion’ on May 26th to follow their to 2014 debut EP ‘Through Mist and Ages’. The album offers a refreshing take on progressive music that is sure to attract interest from a wide audience, especially with classically trained violinist Olivier Allard, who leads the listener throughout the different moods of their compositions.

The quintet is planning their local CD launch in Montreal for June 17th at the Cabaret Lion D’Or. The special guest progressive rockers No Ticket opening the night. Tickets are available on www.lepointdevente.com.

‘Erosion’ was recorded in Montreal at The Grid with producer Christian Donaldson (Cryptopsy, The Agonist, Beyond Creation, Neuraxis) along with additional recording of grand piano done at Studio 270. The release consists of six compositions including a 27 minute masterpiece of the album’s title track, making it the band‘s most ambitious project to date. The album artwork was done by drummer and band co-founder Alexandre Dagenais along with lyrical poems included with the release written by pianist Camille Delage. The poems describe each composition as the album gravitates around the theme of nature and its persistence through time.

‘Erosion’ will be available on iTunes, Bandcamp, Spotify and all other major online retailers as of May 26, 2017.

The brainchild of Danny Alessandro (guitars/vocals) and John Massey (guitars/vocals), Toronto death metal duo DEITY has been a long time coming. Inspired by Suffocation, Emperor, Death, Slayer and Immortal and describing their music as ‘relentless, powerful, intriguing, honest and revitalizing’, DEITY has produced a truly special debut self-titled album due out June 2, 2017.

“We formed about 15 years ago…Myself and John have always been the core of Deity. We had both been working on other projects till we felt the need to finally go in and finish this album about 3 years ago. We’ve known each other for about 20 years.
