KREPITUS Offer Free Download of Debut Album Title Track ‘The Eyes of The Soulless’

L-R: Curtis Beardy- Bass, Teran Wyer- Guitars/Vocals, Harley “Rage” D’orazio- Drums, Matt Van Wezel – Guitars

Bone-crushing Calgary four-piece KREPITUS are challenging the relationship between death and thrash metal with their trademark downtrodden technical riffs and fierce aggressive vocals. They have been constantly playing with opposing elements and creating a stable compound of death-fused thrash since their beginnings in 2013.

Set to unleash their debut album ‘The Eyes of The Soulless’ on November 25th, 2016, the band is offering a FREE download of their release’s title track at the following link: https://krepitus.bandcamp.com/track/eyes-of-the-soulless

plus streaming on Youtube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qyoiNB6LJlY

KREPITUS is comprised of Teran Wyer performing double duty on guitar and vocals; a tortured soul bound to his music. Matt Van Wezel is the second sniper, hitting each guitar note with precision and complementing the already harmonious riffs. Curtis Beardy pulls the tone down to the depths of hell with his steady hand and low register bass riffs. Finally, Harley “Rage” D’orazio kicks everything into overdrive possessed by grinding rhythms and accenting every solo on his drum kit.

Each member stands like a pillar; strong and sure in their own sound, but all standing to support the structure that is KREPITUS. They have since performed with acts like Expain, Depths of Hatred, and Aegaeon and have competed in the Wacken Metal Battle Canada.

1. The Decree of Theodoseus (6:46)
2. Apex Predator (3:28)

Album Length: 46:32

Recently unleashing their new album ‘Ages Unsung’ on September 16th, Ottawa, ON’s CHARIOTS OF THE GODS have teamed up with Bravewords.com for the exclusive video premiere of ‘Tusk’, one of ten shredding assaulting tracks on the release recorded at The Grid with legendary Montreal producer Chris Donaldson (Cryptopsy, The Agonist, Beyond Creation, Neuraxis) plus features a special guest solo from The Agonist’s Pascal Jobin on the song ‘Into Oblivion’.

The band had this to say about the video:

“It’s been more than 3 years since our first official music video for the song ‘Tides of War’ was released. A lot has changed since then, sand it’s time to reveal our first music video ‘Tusk’ in support of our new record. It was great to have Renaud Jobin, our former vocalist, directing the project and working together again. He has a clear understanding of what the band is about and what we wanted to achieve. We’re really happy with the outcome and can’t wait to do more videos for ‘Ages Unsung'”.

To watch ‘Tusk’, please visit the following link: http://bravewords.com/news/exclusive-chariots-of-the-gods-premier-tusk-music-video

‘Ages Unsung’ marks the return of Canada’s first metal band to tour Cuba after a small hiatus and line up change to follow up their 2013 debut album ‘Tides of War’ that was produced by music legend Glen Robinson (Queensryche, Gwar, Annihilator).

The band comments on ‘Ages Unsung’:

“We are very proud to bring you all this new record. It took us longer than expected to get there, but we’re sure that after just one listen you’ll think it was worth the wait. There were a lot of changes since our last release in early 2013. 3 out of 5 were new members and it definitely had an impact on our music especially with the change of the vocalist. We sometimes went into some unknown territories with this new record, but our producer Chris Donaldson along with the help of Pascal Jobin really guided us through this experimental chapter. It has been a challenging effort, but we’ve worked hard to climb the mountain that stood before us. Now we know what we’re capable of. We can see many more peaks in the distance and as one we will strive forward.”

For this album, CHARIOTS OF THE GODS turned to fans on kickstarter with a pre-order campaign (thank you video) and surpassed their goal of $3,000.

The album stream can be heard at the following link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aP4K-E8nRlI&list=PLGO0yrExinishG_mSMqTCAVnwVaFFavPg

  • · Chariots of The Gods

Chariots Of The Gods indeed have written great songs that have a good groove and are full of catchy riffs. And because the band is young and fresh, it all comes across more enthusiastic than similar bands like Arch Enemy, Trivium and even Dark Tranquillity. So if you like these bands, you need to listen to Chariot Of The Gods.

0 Lords of Metal – Illyrian – Round 2: Fight!

  • September 30, 2016

  • · Illyrian

‘Round 2: Fight’ is 45 minutes of metal violence with the sole purpose of knocking you unconscious. Illyrian plays its metal as taught to do so by the big four, mixed with some modern ingredients here and there and an occasional death metal touch…All in all, an interesting and wayward piece of work by a band with potency. Do try this out for yourself!

The band will be performing songs off their third full-length, “Unsaved Progress”, including their recent single “The Glimmer Shot”; a Destiny-themed rock anthem, which earned them accolades from the creators of the video game itself.

For the first time, Canadian fans will be treated to DOUBLE EXPERIENCE‘s larger-than-life show; an event that begins before the band even takes the stage.

“On our last UK tour, we coordinated everything from Pokemon duels on Game Boys with our fans, Pokemon-themed drink specials, cosplay contests, and more,” explains vocalist Ian Nichols. “This fall, we’re embracing Pokemon GO and incorporating aspects of that into what happens offstage.”

Prior to the creation of “Unsaved Progress”, Double Experience were busy performing across 15 countries, playing everywhere from video game museums to tattoo conventions as well as showcases at Canadian Music Week and Indie Week Canada. Their adventures have been supported by international radio, festivals and television alike, culminating with an entire nerd-rock exposé and performance on Global TV in Canada.
