0 Metal Nexus – Without Mercy – Mouichido (EP)
Vancouver, Canada’s Without Mercy are back with yet another savage sliced and diced EP of pure unbridled angst titled ‘Mouichido‘…This quartet of rejuvenated tracks, “Worthless“, “In Waves” (with Mark Hunter), “Burn“, and “Morphine” are one body-belting blow after another with their pummeling drums and rhythms while the guitars are razor sharp shred through and through. Beastly abrasive vocals top things off with enough aggression to make your ears bleed. Once this attack begins, you don’t even get room to breathe as one explosive moment follows the next and does not let up until this acidic 18 minutes and 19 seconds have run their course and left you crumbled in a mangled heap.

0 Metal Talk- Necronomicon – Advent of The Human God (Season of Mist)
Quality over quantity has always been a paramount factor in the music of Canadian Symphonic Blackened Death Metal veterans Necronomicon during their twenty-seven-year career, releasing material only when the trio consider it up to their exacting standard, ever since their demo ‘Morbid Ritual’ firmly established them within the Canadian Metal underground. Now with five full lengths under their belt this latest offering, ‘Advent Of The Human God’ is no exception to that firm rule.

About:
Vancouver’s rugged outdoors-metallers, The Mountain Man, deliver a diverse blend of hard-hitting music, paying homage to the Sasquatch through crushing riffs and blaring drums. This band is all Canadian; celebrating camping, plaid, beer, and above all else energetic metal. Parker (ex-BRAUHEIST) gets straight to the point with his raw, gruff vocals and lyrics filled with animosity that cut through the instruments like an unyielding axe. Each song is like a hand-drawn map guiding fans through the British Columbian wilderness. While the first half is complete, the second half is up to the listener to build their own path and take what they will from each track.
The band developed their sound from listening to groups like The Black Dahlia Murder, Crowbar, Gojira, Lamb of God, and Black Sabbath, taking to heart the importance of dedicating their lives to their craft. Tevyn Pacey (Bass), Ryan McCreedy (Drums), Parker (Vocals), Tyson Tambellini (Rhythm Guitar), and Jordan Orr (Lead Guitar) are like woodsmen secluded from civilization with nothing but their instruments to craft doomy, yet frantic metal. They harness a variety of metal genres and bend them to their will.
The Mountain Man released their debut EP Bloodlust on Friday, March 25, 2016. The five song EP is purposefully open ended so that listeners can interpret each song and find meaning for themselves. More information can be found at https://mountainmanmetal.bandcamp.com

0 Wonderbox Metal – Enoid – Exilé aux Confins des Tourments
As soon as I press play my attention is hooked by what blares out of the speakers. It’s scything, sharp Black Metal with a tight sound and enough frosted melodies and dark aggression to cut deep into the most jaded of hearts.
https://wonderboxmetal.wordpress.com/2016/05/05/enoid-exile-aux-confins-des-tourments-review/
0 Worship Metal – Striker – Stand In The Fire (Record Breaking Records)
We’ll jump straight into the fire and say traditional heavy metal trailblazers Striker have upped the ante on album number 4, scoring a massive hit rate with 11 tracks of blazing heavy metal beamed in directly from the decade that chrystallised metal’s core sound; the 80’s. In fact, Striker traverse every metal sound the 80’s had to offer with wild abandonment and apparent ease; straightforward Priest and Maiden worship nestling nicely next to the beefy pop-metal of Warrant with a bit of thrash quite literally “Locked In” here and there.
