“The Hatred Inside looks like it will be one of Edmonton’s next big albums, helping to push not only this city’s scene further, but also Alberta’s scene as a whole further into the global metal consciousness. Fans of Devildriver, Pantera, and Jungle Rot that have not heard Bleed, I recommend you check them out.” Crown of Viserys
“Bleed are by all accounts a very theatrical band, in the tradition of Gwar or White Zombie, but all this would mean nothing if they didn’t have the tunes. Thankfully they do. Their songs are both heavy and catchy, coming on at times as a cross between Alice Cooper and classic Overkill. In fact, this album has some of the best bass and drums playing since Overkill’s Taking Over (1987), Under The Influence (1988) and The Years of Decay (1989). The guitars are superb as well, always serving the song with some great solos, and excellently named vocalist Robert Kreed has a powerful original voice. It’s criminal these fellows aren’t signed to a label. If this album had come out in the days when people bought their music, Bleed would be up there with the Panteras of the world.” – Hellbound
“The vocals were hardcore, the guitars were heavy in every sense of the word, and the drums had a nice, solid beat throughout “The Hatred Inside”. Another cool tid bit about this album is that according to the vocalist, Robert Kreed, “Each song is told by the perspective of the victim or the victimizer with one common theme of misery.” That’s pretty neat if you ask me….“The Hatred Inside” is an interesting album that should be checked out by anyone looking for intensity with a different theme.” – Metal Addicts
“The Hatred Inside’ is a nice throwback and a perfect combination of horror and thrash metal. This quartet already proved that they can put up a convincing live show so there’s little to stop them now from rising to the upper regions of today’s metal scene. There they will have to compete with bands with a more modern style but Bleed shouldn’t worry. Talent always prevails…” – Merchants of Air
“BLËED was the big attraction of the night. The crowd of eager metal heads was treated to a stage show that would leave anyone impressed. Fake blood, multiple costume changes and horror props all make BLËED shows absolutely insane. Especially when backed by loud and furious death metal, complete with blasphemous themes and zombie babies spewing Jägermeister to the crowd. This is a band that puts a tremendous amount of effort into their stage presence and the results are such that I could see BLËED live time and time again without ever getting bored.” – Random Metal Musings
“Tough, loud, and proud of their sound Bleed are here to make your ears well… bleed with music that is brash and crude, the kind of thing that will punish you until you genuflect in acknowledgement of the awesomeness that is this band.” – Two Guys Metal Reviews
“a legit slab of in-your-face metal that would make for a fine addition to any one’s personal collection!” – Heavy Metal Time Machine
“Bleed knows the horror genre very well…solid and modern thrash metal” – Lords of Metal
“The songs on this album are precisely the sort of collected anarchistic insanity you would expect from a Thrash Metal band. Songs like ‘Blood Ashes’ and ‘Conquer’ are all over the place and yet perfectly aligned – it’s all mad, savage raiding and mindless destruction that is well thought out and cleverly planned and executed.” 925 Rebellion
“An impressive release that needs to be sought out and an act that deserves support. This is thrash and yet so much more!” -Thy Demons Be Scribblin
“A bit thrash, a pinch of power metal, and some good ol classic metal.” – WORT 89.9FM (Madison, WI) Mosh Pit Radio
Album recording and live line up Robert Kreed – Vocals, Mike Bell – Bass, Ron Kratky – Guitar, Chuck Murphy – Drums.

BLEED is an Edmonton based band bringing horror, mayhem, and pain through a medium that brushes on brutal death metal. Their live show combines costumed performances with crushing, groovy thrash peppered with blood. The band pays homage to theatrical metal kings, GWAR, through their own original material and costume design. They guarantee that fans will be chanting along with their grotesque lyrics from such songs as ‘Murder Baby’ complete with appropriate props to accompany much of the material they write.
The blood covered four piece is composed of Ron (guitarist), Rob (vocalist), Mike (Bass) who also plays bass in Samandriel, and Chuck (Drums) who also plays in Idolatry and Ivardensphere. They draw inspiration from many bands; Slayer for their in your face delivery and lyrical content, GWAR for their stage show and lyrical content, Strapping Young Lad for their chaotic sound and comedic entertainment, Zimmer’s Hole for their stage show and variety of song style, and DevilDriver for their overall heavy/borderline death metal sound.
Their song writing strategy is simple: start with a guitar riff, structure it, and map it out, from there they add bass and drums, rehearse liberally, and continue to craft the instrumentals until they are completely ‘fleshed’ out. Lyrics are usually written in one sitting by Robert (vocals) once the emotion is found a story begins to unfold, be it about war, demons, death, torture, and other unpleasantries
The band has released a self-titled EP in 2014, and plan to release their debut full-length in Fall 2015, accompanying it will be a booklet with individual band photos, grotesque artistic imagery, and lyrics for the songs. Fans and crowds are guaranteed to be covered in blood by the end of the show with their endless ferocity.

Test Your Metal Records is proud to unleash Brazilian power metallers HIBRIA’s fifth and latest self-titled full length for North American release as of August 7th, 2015. This fifth release continues HIBRIA‘s venture in 2015 with their very technical playing that’s fast, aggressive and catchy to follow 2013’s ‘Silent Revenge’. Album is available on CD here | Digital download here. Hibria will also be on tour across North America this September and October with Unleash The Archers (dates listed below).
Hibria comments:
“We self titled this release because we believe that it represents what our music is and how we feel about our band. This is our second CD composed with the same lineup and it made all the difference in our songwriting. We already knew what to expect from each other and it contributed a lot for us to write this new work. It is our most daring album. We experienced new influences and they made this album to sound so fresh. We really feel we have started heading to a new level as a band.”

Biography
Train Bigger Monkeys is an expression of society force fed life-long corruption.
Metal has a way of taking control, and TBM revels in the direction it takes them.
Formed in the winter of 2007, Train Bigger Monkeys have set out to destroy. With a sound that is both melodic and punishing, TBM has succeeded in creating music that melts faces and blasts minds. With a wide array of influences across numerous metal genres you get a taste of death, thrash, progressive, hardcore and straight up metal all rolled into one. Train Bigger Monkeys always bring an energy, technicality and a true passion to the stage that will challenge anyone not to get involved.
They have had the honour to share the stage with metal legends such as Massacre, Archspire, Incantation, and Benighted, and have performed at multiple Death/Chuck Shuldiner tribute shows as well as Vernstock, Farmageddon Open Air, and Calgary Metal Fest.
With 2 full length albums under their belts (The Human Disgrace – 2012 & Divergence – 2014), and a line up that makes it look easy, the band is undoubtedly on their way to success with a sound that is constantly evolving and refining into something truly unique that can only be Train Bigger Monkeys.
