Northern Irish Pagan Metal pioneers WAYLANDER return with “Hy Brasil (Isle Of Mists)”, the second single from their forthcoming album “Mac Tíre – Son of the Land”, due for release on November 6th, 2026. Blending extreme metal with traditional Irish influences, the band will appeal to fans of Skyclad, Eluveitie and Korpiklaani.
Following the release of “Macha”, WAYLANDER delves deeper into the folklore and ancient mysteries of their homeland with a song inspired by “Hy Brasil”, the fabled island said to lie hidden in the mists off the west coast of Ireland.
Shrouded in mystery for centuries, “Hy Brasil” has long captured the imagination of those drawn to tales of lost lands and the unknown. WAYLANDER channels that sense of wonder into a track that brings together metal intensity and traditional elements, providing a fitting musical backdrop to one of Ireland’s most enduring legends.

“Hy Brasil (Isle Of Mists)” offers another glimpse into “Mac Tíre – Son of the Land”, an album shaped by the Irish landscape, ancient traditions and the relationship between people and the land.
Formed in Northern Ireland in 1993, WAYLANDER have spent more than three decades developing a distinctive sound that combines extreme metal with traditional instrumentation and themes rooted in mythology, history and pagan spirituality.
With “Mac Tíre – Son of the Land”, the band continues that journey, carrying their established musical and cultural identity into a new chapter.
