Harnessing their crazy sense of humor and love of all things metal, vocalist Rob “Rawrb” Kersey and guitarist Josh “The J” Key joined forces with drummer Alex “Shmalex” Dontre and bassist Matty J “Moose” to create Pyschostick, a band they’ve coined as humorcore. With hilarious lyrics, heavy riffs, notorious stage antics and high-energy performances, the band has caused millions of laughs around the world and hundreds of mosh pits across the US, often simultaneously, since its birth in Phoenix, AZ in 2000.
Almost 100 percent do-it-yourself, Psychostick never strays from its signature sound, a combination of heavy music that Chimaira, Machine Head, and Hatebreed would be proud of, and wit and humor that would make Tenacious D and Weird Al Yankovic holler with laughter.
With three full-length albums behind them – “We Couldn’t Think of a Title,” “Sandwich,” and their holiday album, “The Flesh Eating Rollerskate Holiday Joyride” – the band released their latest record, “Space Vampires vs. Zombie Dinosaurs in 3D,” in 2011, following it up with a tour with Mushroomhead to add to their total count of 21 nationwide tours that have hit 47 states.
After a successful 2013 that saw these touring ninja warriors hit the road for multiple shows on the ‘Our Tour Can Beat Up Your Tour’, ‘Blow Your Fingers Off’ summer tour, their late summer dates with American Head Charge plus appearances at summer fests that included Rockapalooza, A2 Fest, Breast Fest Biker Bash, and Dirtfest. Toronto, ON based metal band WHERE GIANTS ONCE STOOD have posted a new guitar playthrough video for the title track from their debut EP ‘The Changing’, a “seven-track rip-and-kerrang assault” that debut at no.2 on the iTunes metal charts, which is still winning critical praise with its ability to fuse scorching guitar work, “assaultive underbeats” plus “drill-sergeant vocals” with earworm choruses and modern electronic breaks.

In a statement posted on their facebook page, All Else Fails have announced the return of drummer Ryan Biggs who was the band during 2010 along with being a touring member through 2011 and 2012.

The band was scheduled to perform on Feb 1st at Studio Music Foundation in Edmonton w/ Enemyus, Dieuponaday but due to scheduling conflict are now unable to take the stage, but will be performing in Drumheller, AB on March 1st at the Whiskey Lounge & Night Club w/ Maimed Wolf plus on April 26th at The Vat in Red Deer, AB with Ninjaspy .
