BROCARDE Unveils “Feed My Soul” ft. KORN’s Ray Luzier – A Haunting Dive into Theatrical Horror Metal

Known for her haunting vocals, theatrical visuals, and ghostly whispers, Brocarde returns with her next sonic séance, blurring the line between the living and the dead. A gothic siren of symphonic metal and supernatural storytelling, her most visceral offering yet, “Feed My Soul,” is a thunderous single featuring the legendary Ray Luzier of KORN on drums.

“I love Brocarde’s very unique vocal style and vibe. She has mass aggression to sweetness and everything in between in her voice! The very interesting song arrangements and theatrical segments make the whole package a dynamic, fun adventure to listen to. I see great things ahead for her!” says Ray Luzier.

The track was recorded remotely across three cities: Brocarde in London, Luzier in Nashville, and producer Chris Collier (Korn, Mick Mars, Whitesnake) in Las Vegas. Though the trio never met during the recording process, fate intervened at Wacken Open Air, where Brocarde bumped into Luzier in the canteen.

“Watching Ray perform with Korn side stage was a powerful reminder of what I’m fighting for. That’s the level I want to reach,” adds Brocarde.

The “Feed My Soul” music video was shot in a haunted hunting lodge deep within Germany’s Black Forest, ominously known as The Demon Hotel. The setting mirrors Brocarde’s signature theatrical horror aesthetic, equal parts Phantom of the Opera and Edgar Allan Poe nightmare. From hushed whispers to guttural screams, she commands every moment with chilling precision, layering her vocals like a spectral choir and saturating each frame with raw emotion. The walls, adorned with taxidermy heads frozen in terror, serve as eerie spectators to the song’s themes of toxic entanglement and psychological warfare. Ray Luzier’s thunderous drumming injects a primal pulse, anchoring Brocarde’s ethereal delivery in a maelstrom of cinematic intensity.

“Feed My Soul is more than a song; it’s a spiritual experience. I wrote it alone in the dark, channeling voices from beyond and emotions I couldn’t explain. It’s about craving connection in a world that feels increasingly disconnected. I want listeners to question everything they see as normal,” adds Brocarde.

The single offers a glimpse into Brocarde’s long-awaited debut album, set for release in 2026, a decade in the making. While details remain under wraps, fans can expect a musical journey that’s as emotionally raw as it is visually spellbinding.

Brocarde’s rise has been anything but ordinary. From marrying (and exorcising) a Victorian ghost named Edwardo, to conducting paranormal investigations at Download Festival and Wacken Open Air, she’s carved a niche as rock’s most fearless medium. Her column “Terrifying Travels” in The Daily Star chronicles her encounters with the dead, while her website Brocarde.com documents her haunted adventures around the globe.

With “Feed My Soul,” Brocarde invites fans to step into her world, a place where music, magic, and madness collide.

Breaking out with their self-titled debut EP in 2018, San Diego, USA’s Eddie and Seb Vazquez brother duo that makes Tzimani are excited to unveil their first full-length album entitled “I Feel Fine”, now available as of November 15th on Glory or Death Records (Vinyl) and Noize Cartel (Digital).

“This album has been a trial of our toughest mental and emotional challenges to not only complete but to release into the ether as it took us over two years to complete from the time we first recorded drums back in August 2022 to when we finally had masters in hand in June of 2024. In a lot of ways, this album represents an emotional rebirth of the band with efforts to take on the world in the metal scene after a protracted period of relative inactivity dating back to mid-2019 after we wrapped up our touring to promote the 2018 EP.

We plan on rebuilding the momentum that was lost during the pandemic years and hitting the ground with a renewed vigor and sense of excitement to bring our live performance to places we have not been to and recapture the support of all the fans we left hanging over the last five years to let them know that we are back! We are ready to reclaim the title as the fearless gruesome twosome in the music sphere and we could not be more thrilled to be working with Buddy and Ygor and the Glory or Death Records label and having them allow us to try to transcend our music and reach the broadest audience.” adds Sebastien Vazquez.

Picking up right where the 2018 EP dropped off, Tzimani‘s album “I Feel Fine” features the same elements of catchy hooks, clean rhythms, and dynamic vocal lines. However, there are bits of deviation when it comes to injecting new elements. Fans will hear an added synthesizer for some of the tracks, an exploration into AOR rock, and some expressions of today’s modern music scene for this collection of eight songs of their finest hour adds.\

Sebastien Vazquez explains further:

“You know those albums that you listen to over and over again and you just know when the first song hits your sense of familiarity, nostalgia, warmth, and comfort? That is what we are trying to encapsulate. The album is straightforward heavy metal mixed with modern elements with a dash of AOR and we feel it is the best representation to show everyone what we are capable of. We are also trying to represent the future of the band and give everyone an entry into some of the larger questions that we struggle with and how we choose to represent that with our songwriting. We are not the type of band that is capable of singing about stories, dragons, and swords, but we excel at writing tunes that people can genuinely relate to and connect with.”

Tzimani is recommended for fans of Van Halen, Haunt, Striker, Traveler, Skull Fist, and Cauldron.

About: Formed in 2017, Tzimani hit the ground running with their debut demo and a relentless West Coast and Southwest tour, winning over fans with electrifying performances in cities like Portland, Seattle, and Texas. Their 2018 self-titled EP, released via Noize Cartel Records, became a launching pad that propelled them into the national spotlight. With over 100 shows across North America and standout appearances at major festivals, the band quickly built a reputation as a live act not to be missed.

Drawing from legendary influences like Iron Maiden, Van Halen, and Mötley Crüe, Tzimani’s music is a bold fusion of melodic AOR and the raw power of old-school heavy metal. With twin-guitar leads, soaring solos, and thunderous drumming, their sound is equal parts grit and glory. Eddie’s vocals, reminiscent of Dio, along with his fierce guitar work, channel the spirit of classic rock while still pushing forward into new sonic territory.

After their 2020 expanded re-release of the EP, Tzimani faced an unexpected pause as the world shut down. But through the stillness, the brothers’ creativity simmered, building anticipation for their next big move. Now, with their first full-length “I Feel Fine” (Out Nov 2024), they’re stepping into uncharted territory by incorporating synthesizers to deepen their sound, adding a dynamic, atmospheric layer that brings new emotion and energy to their music.

Tzimani’s partnership with Glory or Death Records marks the beginning of a fresh journey. With their signature blend of melody and muscle, the band is primed to reach a broader audience and reignite their momentum on stages across the country. The stage is set, the wheels are turning again, and Tzimani is ready to reclaim their place as a force in the rock and metal scene.

“the blistering new single “Haunting” from metal duo Tzimani! Driving speed riffs, AOR keys, breakout solos and soaring vocals make “Haunting” a very cool track.” – WJOE – Findlay’s Home for Rock & Roll

“At full throttle (opening track We Stand And Fight, for instance) they’ll take you right back to the glory days of names like The Rods, or any of those classic US power metal names of the early eighties, but the key to Tzimani’s appeal is their ability to add huge doses of melody to the muscle; When they get this right, as they do on Hold On and Empty, the sound they create – like the Adrian Smith-penned Iron Maiden classics of the mid eighties – is hard to resist… This really is top notch stuff, and I can’t recommend it highly enough if you like proper, old school heavy metal like it used to be made.” – Sentinel Daily

“I Feel Fine is a ….hmm.. fine collection of classic heavy metal songs, with enough energy and punch to make you hit the replay button” – Velvet Thunder

“Typically, when promo proclaims that a band represents a “bold new take” on a traditional, well-trod style, you can expect the same: yet another forgettable “revitalization” of a sound and aesthetic that has been done to death, reanimated, and then slaughtered by copycats once more. In the case of Tzimani, the status quo is effectively put in its place.” – Sleeping Village

“Electrifying pace sets ‘We Are The Ones’ on fire, hurtling along at full velocity, displaying all the hallmarks associated with the “foot on the monitor” style of traditional heavy metal. Hitting hard like an out of control wrecking ball” – Frenzy Fire / Metal Gods TV

” refreshing heavy rock 8/10″ – SoundMagnet (German)

” This two piece hailing from San Diego shredded their way through their set. Straight up heavy metal brothers rocking their way across North America. Eddie can really play the guitar. Each song they played were full of mean riffs and ripping solos.” – Metal As Medicine (Live Review – 2019 – Kelowna, BC)

” They surprised us all when vocalist/guitarist Eddie Vazquez announced that they were the only other band on the bill. It was their best time to shine. Kudos to you Vazquez brothers!… Tzimani set up shop, and made that stage their biatch! Soon enough they began playing songs that were not included in their demo such as “Overdrive,” and dished out their hits “Final Hour” and “Get Me Out Of Here” which are available on their demo. These bros emitted a tremendous confidence and were still glowing from their recent inaugural American tour.” – Ugh Metal (Live Review – 2017 – San Diego, CA)

NEWS RELEASE

Montreal, QC – April 10, 2020

For fans of Haunt, Ghost, Dokken, Triumph, Blue Oyster Cult

Out Now! Vancouver Heavy Metal SPELL’s New Album “Opulent Decay” via Bad Omen Records

New Music Video ‘Dawn Wanderer’

Hailing from Vancouver, British Columbia, SPELL‘s new LP “Opulent Decay” is now available as of April 10, 2020 via Bad Omen Records. With the full length’s release, they are also sharing the new video ‘Dawn Wanderer’.

Watch HERE.

Album Stream Bandcamp and Spotify.

Shrouding their listeners in hypnotizing heavy metal, the ten-track album is a menagerie of atmosphere, heaviness and delicately woven melodies. This will be the third album from the group following “Full Moon Sessions” (2014) and “For None And All” (2017). Reflecting on the progression through the albums, bassist/vocalist Cam Mesmer comments:

“Many bands find their third album the most difficult because they’re trying to recreate what they’ve already done; for us, it gets easier and better every time. As ideas emerged during the writing process, we nurtured them and gave them all the time and care they needed to flourish and bloom.”

As a precursor to the album release, SPELL has already released a video for the first track from “Opulent Decay” entitled ‘Psychic Death’. According to Mesmer, all the tracks on the album “deal with the contrast between opulence and austerity, and the decay that results from imbalance. Our drive to avoid suffering is strong, but it can be overcome by the love for another and the desire to put them before yourself. ‘Opulent Decay’ examines this balance and the dangers that await on either side of the pendulum.”

Once again creating a powerful and enchanting sonic experience, SPELL invites you to intertwine yourself with romanticism and heavy metal with “Opulent Decay” today.

The album is available for stream, download and physical format at the following link HERE.

About:

Spell have already proven themselves mighty chroniclers of the more supernatural quarters of the heavy music sphere. Recorded at Little Red Sounds studio in New Westminster, B.C., ‘Opulent Decay’ is an emotionally charged psychic travelogue wreathed in mysticism. The album embraces harmonic guitar heraldry while also showcasing a band as adept at essaying a hymnal acapella piece like the beguiling “Ataraxia” as they are the wistful and melancholic “Dawn Wanderer”, the pastoral-tinged and progressively slanted “Primrose Path” or the catchy and barnstorming title-track.

Spell’s debut, 2014’s ‘Full Moon Sessions’, and 2017’s critically-celebrated LP, ‘For None And All’, are proof positive of an outfit — completed by drummer and co-vocalist Al Lester and guitarist Graham McVie – whose grasp of diverting dynamics matched their infectious songcraft. However, these were apparently mere preludes to ‘Opulent Decay’, the band’s third and finest record to date.

“If this band was a van, they would be the raddest, most pimped out airbrushed 70’s van with plush interior and a BOOMING system. SPELL is a perfect name for them, because their songs are jamming heavy metal magic.” – Cvlt Nation

“Vancouver power trio SPELL make what they call “hypnotizing heavy metal,” a captivating mix of Rush- and Blue Öyster Cult–hailing classic rock, lyrics inspired by Romantic poets like Keats, Shelley and Coleridge, and more modern elements that evoke everyone from Opeth to Ghost.” – Revolver Mag

Following in the footsteps of bands such as Cauldron, Enforcer and Night Demon, Sylent Storm goes back to the sound of classic heavy metal that is reminiscent of the early New Wave of British Heavy Metal. They released their melodic and catchy self-titled debut in December of 2018.

The video for ‘Patriots of Metal’ aims to give watchers a sense of nostalgia, an urge to pound their fist, bang their head and have fun with catchy, exciting-sounding metal again.

“[It’s] exactly how I feel. Heavy metal is timeless and placeless, to me. We are all in a worldwide family brought together by the love of this one thing that’s important to us. I am patriotic toward heavy metal the way a person can be patriotic to their country. They will bravely fight for it and stand up proudly to those who oppose it. It’s our call to arms, sort of rallying the troops.” – Jym Harris (vocals)

Sylent Storm has confirmed several live dates where fans can expect an engaging performance, but for those unable to make to see them live, a tour edition cassette will be released, which includes ‘Patriots of Metal’ and bonus live tracks. A full-length album has been confirmed with a planned release late in 2019.

Bio:

Formed by lead vocalist (and then drummer) Jym Harris, along with guitarist James Lind, and bassist Matt Foster, Sylent Storm was born in Medford Oregon on March 2013. Over the next few years, the trio played dozens of shows around Southern Oregon with notable acts like Raven, Unleash the Archer, Spellcaster and Night Demon.

The band recorded their self-titled EP in early 2015, but as members parted ways, the project was left unmixed until 2018. With the growing popularity of the New Wave Of Traditional Heavy Metal, Doug Hill at Medford’s 60 Psycho Hum Studios mixed and mastered the six-track release. A physical CD was released by Stormspell Records in December of ’18 and shortly thereafter, the self-titled EP made several “Best Of 2018” lists.

As favorable reviews/mentions appeared in music publications, interest in the band began to grow. With Foster retiring from music and Lind focusing primarily on vocals in a new project, a different lineup moved forward. As of early 2019, the critically acclaimed EP has gained a moderate following in the NWOTHM community, and a video for the song “Patriots Of Metal” will be released in March. With tour dates announced, new songs are being fine-tuned for a full-length release later in the year.
