Melodic blues‑heavy rock band DieveNoire has released its boldest visual statement yet with the new music video for “IDGAF,” a track from their debut concept album “The Story of a Gunslinger.” The band will also bring their dynamic, theatrical live show to Rock Fest in Cadott, Wisconsin, on August 18, marking their biggest festival appearance to date and sharing the stage with a lineup that includes The Offspring, Halestorm, The Pretty Reckless, Hollywood Undead, and many more! More info available at https://rock-fest.com/.

Fans attending Rock Fest can expect a performance that goes far beyond simply recreating their album. DieveNoire’s live show is theatrical, high‑energy, and emotionally charged, with Lariyah (Havron, Hessler, Khaotika) delivering vocals with more grit, harshness, and intensity than on the studio recordings. The band’s stage presence transforms each song into a full‑body experience.

Demonstrating this emotion, the track “IDGAF” erupts unfiltered, born from a night of insomnia, overwhelming stress, and a moment of stark clarity as Lariyah lay in morning grass heavy with petrichor, reflecting on life, humanity, and the weight of her own history. It channels the rawest parts of the human experience, unapologetic, unfiltered, and fiercely honest, standing in sharp contrast to the album’s western narrative and highlighting the band’s ability to shift from cinematic storytelling to deeply personal expression.

Shaped by Lariyah’s own lived intensity, the song carries the urgency of someone who has survived the unimaginable. After a tragic tour accident that claimed three lives and left her clinically dead before being revived, she approaches every day with uncompromising authenticity.

“This song is a display of a middle finger to the two‑faced, fake world. If you give me an apple, I’ll give you an orchard. Cut off my finger, and I’ll cut you off from my life. I’m Polish; I’m blunt. You’ll always know exactly what I think.”

Though separate from the album’s gunslinger storyline, the track can still be interpreted through the lens of the concept, echoing the voice of the woman observing the gunslinger’s journey, a moment of surrender as she realizes she may never be able to follow where he goes.

DieveNoire began as a solitary creative spark in Lariyah’s mind: simple beats, tribal textures, and haunting blues‑rock vocals. Over time, the project evolved into a full band featuring world‑touring musicians, guitarists Josh Perrin (Akhlys, Havron) and Lothar Keller (The Skull / Legions of Doom), along with drummer Aaron Esquitin, and the recent addition of Paul McBride (The Reticent) joining post-album release.

Their combined backgrounds in black metal, doom, progressive metal, and heavy rock helped transform DieveNoire into a melodic, blues‑driven heavy rock band known for its emotional depth and dynamic arrangements.

Their debut album, “The Story of a Gunslinger”, inspired by a vivid dream of the old wild west, blends storytelling, grit, and southern‑gothic atmosphere. The album was further shaped by renowned Gothenburg producer Jakob Herrmann (Draconian, Thyrfing, Art Nation), who encouraged the band to push toward heavier textures while preserving their blues‑rock soul.

Recommended for fans of Clutch, Dorothy, Everybody Loves an Outlaw, Pretty Reckless, and Halestorm, “The Story of a Gunslinger” (released September 5, 2025) is available on all digital platforms.

About: DieveNoire is a melodic blues‑heavy rock band blending storytelling, emotional depth, and dynamic musicianship. Formed by vocalist and songwriter Lariyah Perrin, the band evolved from a solo concept into a collaborative force featuring members of Akhlys, The Skull/Legions of Doom, The Reticent, and Havron. Their debut album, The Story of a Gunslinger, delivers a cinematic narrative rooted in dream‑born mythology, southern‑gothic atmosphere, and raw human emotion.

-30-

“The nostalgic whistles, the storytelling approach of singer Lariyah Perrin, and the overall atmosphere of the song take the listener on a hypnotic journey. The song is the band’s third track before they drop their new album, which already seems like it will be a feast for the ears. Pushing the repeat button is the only way when the highly engaging, beautiful song ends.” – New Noise Magazine

“It may be true that Lariyah’s personal and dramatic story pushed her to see life from a somewhat different perspective. Her dark words, at times, attest to this. Through the darkness of West American history, is this some kind of introspection on her part? I will conclude by writing that this album is the result of a fusion of dark blues rock and Southern-gothic rock, carried by an expressive voice, powerful guitars, and a universe where the Wild West meets shadow and rebellion. For this album, 9/10 is essential.” – Rock Meeting

If DieveNoire should be recognised as anything, it should be as an unreckonable cultural force, wielding music as a conduit for their ethos, one that scratches beneath the superficial and strikes at the cerebral. Their latest seminal single, IDGAF, delivers an intimately candid rum-soaked vignette of a soul clawing for freedom through the rebellion of living authentically, sacrilegiously in the eyes of many, yet chasing redemption through defiant selfhood.” – A&R Factory (anrfactory.com)

“Hailing from Elgin, IL DieveNoire is a Dark Blues Rock Band that started from the vision and creation of Lariyah Perrin. Originally, this new endeavor was intended as a solo project. However, after the overwhelmingly positive reception of her debut single, “Gunslinger in Black,” Lariyah decided to form a full five-member, stage-ready band. Since a young age, Lariyah was exposed to none other than Johnny Cash, a key influence. Combining her Slavic roots, which are evident in her vocal style and songwriting with a newfound passion for blues and southern gothic rock, Lariyah began work on the band’s debut album, “The Story of a Gunslinger.”” WGN Channel 9 (Chicago)

0 Lily Löwe Unleashes “Haunted House” A Dark Rock Anthem Just in Time for Halloween; New Album “Beautiful Disaster” Coming February 2026

NEWS RELEASE

Montreal, QC – October 29, 2025

Lily Löwe Unleashes “Haunted House,” A Dark Rock Anthem Just in Time for Halloween

New Album “Beautiful Disaster” Coming February 2026

Norwegian melodic hard rock band Lily Löwe has dropped their latest single, “Haunted House,” a chilling and cathartic track that arrives just in time to soundtrack your Halloween. The single is the sixth release from their upcoming sophomore album, “Beautiful Disaster, set to arrive February 6, 2026.

“Haunted House” dives deep into the shadows of the mind, using the metaphor of a haunted home to explore themes of anxiety, inner demons, and emotional chaos. With heavy basslines, modern production, and frontwoman Lily’s commanding vocals, the track delivers a visceral listening experience, dark, raw, and emotionally charged.

“It’s about being trapped inside your own head. We wanted the music to reflect that, heavy, haunting, but also cathartic,” says Lily.

The single follows a string of high-voltage releases in 2025, including “Wild,” “Demons,” “Puppet Master,” “Glitter & Gore,” and the title track “Beautiful Disaster.” Each song reveals a different facet of the band’s evolving sound, melodic, punchy, and unapologetically heavy.

Formed after Lily’s solo debut at Melodi Grand Prix 2022, Lily Löwe quickly grew into a full band featuring some of Norway’s top heavy rock talent: Adrian Sunde Bjerketvedt (Jorn), Patrik Svendsen (Tonic Breed), Stian Hansen (Suicide Bombers), and Eiliv Sagrusten (Invasion). Their debut album LÖWE earned critical acclaim, and their upcoming release promises to push boundaries even further.

“Beautiful Disaster” is a sonic journey through power, vulnerability, and transformation, blending classic hard rock roots with modern edge. From the glam-punk riot of “Glitter & Gore” to the emotional wreckage of the title track, the album is “all killer, no filler,” according to the band.

Fans can expect more singles leading up to the album’s release, and a live show that’s as intense as the music itself, with raw emotion, heavy riffs, and hooks that stick.

“Haunted House” is available now on all major streaming platforms. “Beautiful Disaster” arrives February 6, 2026.

Edmonton, AB’s JULIET RUIN recently released their first full-length album “Old Stardust, Love and Chaos” on September 6, 2019 to follow their 2017 debut self titled EP. The release promises to be more technical with heavy instrumentation, including some dabbling in low tuned 7 string guitars to create an original sound chock full of catchy hooks that convey a fresh and emotive feel to their heavy music. Lead vocalist Jess Ruin has added more screams, but also more clean techniques with her pop-esque power vocals. Fans of forward-thinking modern metal such as Evanescence, System of a Down, and Killswitch Engage should take special note of this powerful and emotive Canadian band.

Teaming up with GhostCultMag.com, JULIET RUIN is excited to premiere their latest lyric video for the track ‘Fight To Win’ at the following link HERE.

The band adds:

“‘Fight to Win’ is probably one of the more unique tracks on the album. It begins softly and quickly changes pace, flowing into our most experimental vocals in the verses. FTW is a wordy and exciting track with an array of vocal styles. The verses of this one are special vocally because of creative on-the-spot thinking in the studio by Diego Fernandez. The last-minute change to make the verses more spoken the entire mood of the song different. FTW is an ode to owning up to a vengeful nature just to flaunt it proudly as a warning sign.”

Digital stream and download of JULIET RUIN‘s debut album “Old Stardust, Love, and Chaos” is available on Spotify, Bandcamp, Apple Music, Amazon.

Music Video ‘Spite’ here.

“Juliet Ruin’s sound is comparable to a muddier version of Alexisonfire, with Fleming guiding the songs with her powerful voice while being backed up by Geislinger’s harsh screams and growls…. Juliet Ruin has been gaining more recognition after every concert with its single “Rogue Down” receiving a nomination at the Edmonton Music Awards.” – Vue Weekly (2017)

“Search no further than the Juliet Ruin playbook, it’ll teach you a thing or two. Their hard work and dedication are clearly paying off, and I predict that it won’t be too long until they become a commercial success. Yes, I’m willing to wager on it.” – Ravenkin Photography (2018)

NEWS RELEASE

Montreal, QC – August 26, 2019

For fans of The Glorious Sons, Thornley, Halestorm, Monster Truck, The Trews

Ottawa’s ELEGANT DEVILS Share Lyric Video For ‘Heartbreaker’

ELEGANT DEVILS are a collaborative rock outfit out of Ottawa, Canada and they have just recently released a single ‘Heartbreaker’ this past June. Now to add a visual treat to the song they have released a lyric video as a compliment.

Energetic, creative and unique, ELEGANT DEVILS add a touch of brilliance to their rock music that had soul, emotion and a bit of grit. Not losing sight of who they are, ELEGANT DEVILS hope to convey a more mature sound as they fine-tune their skills.

With each of the four members having diverse musical influences, ELEGANT DEVILS tinker and experiment with a variety of elements, while remaining firmly rooted in rock. The sanguine single evolved over time and the band feels it is a great foundation for what can be expected from them in the future. The band quotes:

“Heartbreaker is a small look into what the band has been working on. It’s upbeat, energetic, sounds like us, and just felt like the right song to release as a new single.”

ELEGANT DEVILS hope to satiate their fans with this single as they write and record their next album.

“We hope our listeners have an enjoyable experience with this one. One that will serve as a reminder that we are working away on new material. That we are excited to share what we have been working on with everyone and can’t wait until it sees the light of day.”

Since starting on their musical journey in 2015 from the ashes of a previous endeavour, JULIET RUIN has been working tirelessly to make a name for themselves in the Canadian music scene. Making their way across local stages and appearing at several Western Canadian festivals, JULIET RUIN will be unleashing their first full-length album “Old Stardust, Love and Chaos” on September 6, 2019 to follow their 2017 debut self titled EP.

Earlier this summer, the Edmonton based band released their first single ‘Seasons‘, a song about the goddess of spring and hell in Greek mythology along with being a nod to badass women everywhere.

Now they are ready to drop their second banger ‘Spite’ with an exciting video that gives a dose of harsh truth via an exclusive premiere on PureGrainAudio.com here.

The band adds:

“‘Spite’ is one of the heaviest on the album, being the very first song where Jess screams entire verses. This song is an honest look at what it is like to regain perspective after dealing with a narcissistic force in one’s life. Spite’s courses are surprisingly upbeat in theme and sound, especially in contrast to the angry verses. It starts intense and continues to intensify throughout.”

Fans of forward-thinking modern metal such as Evanescence, System of a Down, and Killswitch Engage should take special note of this powerful and emotive Canadian band.

The ten-track album “Old Stardust, Love, and Chaos” showcases a brand that is all their own. They describe their new album as staying true to their roots while continuing to tinker with their sound:

“’Old Stardust, Love, and Chaos’ stays true to a lot of our root qualities in terms of catchy hooks and overall groove, but fans can expect a lot of new and even somewhat experimental things on the album as well. Lyrically speaking this album delves into a little bit deeper subject matter than the EP, focusing a lot of personal introspection and mental health, as well as general societal concerns from differing degrees of headspace; from optimism to apathy.”

Nominated for Metal Recording of The Year – Ugly Side – Edmonton Music Awards 2018

Since starting on their musical journey in 2015 from the ashes of a previous endeavour, JULIET RUIN has been working tirelessly to make a name for themselves in the Canadian music scene. Making their way across local stages and appearing at several Western Canadian festivals, JULIET RUIN are now finishing up their first full-length album “Old Stardust, Love and Chaos”. To introduce this work of art they are releasing the first single ‘Seasons’.

Since releasing their self titled EP in 2017, JULIET RUIN has been working hard to further cement their sound and create a brand that is all their own. They describe their new album as staying true to their roots while continuing to tinker with their sound:

The single is about the goddess of spring and hell in Greek mythology and serves as a nod to badass women everywhere. The music coming is laced with fury, reflection, and tears. JULIET RUIN expands of the meaning behind the single:

“Our first single off the album, ‘Seasons’, is a mainly clean-vocals, poetic retelling of Persephone and Hades in Greek mythology. ‘Seasons’ has an emotional vibe to it and celebrates the balance of powers within the spectrum of femininity, as well as the metaphorical ties between seasons and nature the mother.”

Toronto’s Anthems In Ashes are premiering their second music video on PureGrainAudio.com, this time for the sassy and soulful single “Her Fire” off the 2017 EP “Burn it Down”. It’s a fun, energetic song with catchy melodies and lyrics with a true distorted rock and roll sound blended with a diverse range of vocals encompassing metal, punk and hints of soul. This well produced and artistic video brings fire to the genre, staying groovy and adding a sexy and heavy flair to it.

Vocalist Harley Olivia shares why it is her favourite song to play live:

“We chose “Her Fire” as a single because it demonstrates both our catchy groove and our heavier sounding elements, particularly with the vocals. I like the dichotomy of the soft, pretty sounding vocals descending into guttural monster screams. It’s a great balance of pretty and ugly.”
