Rockshots Records – “The Story Goes On” w/ EUNOMIA’s New Single Off New Album “The Chronicles of Eunomia Part 2” Out Sept 2023

Norwegian adventure power metallers EUNOMIA are returning in 2023 with their sophomore full-length “The Chronicles of Eunomia Part II” for release on Rockshots Records this coming September.

Presenting epic, bombastic, fast, powerful fantasy through their compositions, this second record from Eunomia is a group effort, as the first full-length was completely written by band founder, vocalist, and keyboardist Peter Danielsen. Joined by his brother Marius Danielsen (Legend of Valley Doom), bassist Alexander Ormseth, guitarist Magnar Winther Skorgenes and drummer Alessandro Kelvin (Perc3ption), the tracks on this new offering are more powerful and stronger than before with much more variety than their first effort.

“The Chronicles of Eunomia Part II” also features guests Alessandro Conti (Twilight Force), Arnaud Ménard (Alkemyst), Jimmy Hedlund (Falconer), Matt Krais (ShadowStrike), Ty Christian (Lords of The Trident), Mikael Dahl (Crystal Eyes), Olaf Hayer (Luca Turilli’s band, Dionysus), and Anders Sköld (Veonity). Overall this second full-length has everything from power and symphonic metal elements to contagious choruses, fast double bass drums, and even slow epic songs that fit the storytelling perfectly.

“Everyone in the band has helped shape the new album. We worked hard to get this album the way it sounds. Re-written parts on many songs to make them as perfect as we could. I think the fans will hear that the band has evolved and become better, tighter, and more creative than on the first album. Better melodies, better songwriting, and even more epic than ever. We have leveled up significantly on this album. I believe this album is 10x better than the first one and I think the choruses will be stuck in the minds of fans and I hope they press the replay button many times after listening to it for the first time.” adds Peter Danielsen.

Marius Danielsen also adds:

“As the mixing and mastering engineer for this album, I must say it has been quite a journey. My brother and I have worked closely together on this album for about two years. Learning new mixing tricks and carefully carving out space for every single instrument in a dense mix consisting of 250 tracks or so per song has been a cool process to be part of. I think we managed to create an epic-sounding Power Metal album full of glorious melodies and memorable hooks.”

Today, Eunomia presents their first musical quest entitled “The Story Goes On”.

“Let’s explode into our first single! This is the fastest song I have ever written, I have always wanted to make a song that could fit into a Dragonforce album. Ivan Giannini from Derdian/Vision Divine and Arnaud Ménard from Alkemyst sings their hearts out in this one. Fast riffs, fast and melodic guitar solo from the one and only Jimmy Hedlund from Falconer, a lot of fast epic drums, and an epic chorus. This song is the last song on the album, but I felt it needed to be shown first because I love this song so much.” comments Peter Danielsen.

Not slowing down, the band is already in the works for writing “The Chronicles of Eunomia Part 3” and looks forward to performing live.

“I can’t wait to bring back Eunomia as a live band again now that most of us live in the same city again. We will try to tell the story of Eunomia with great energy, perfect performances, amazing guest artists, and awesome setlists.”

Recommended for fans of Rhapsody Of Fire, Twilight Force, Dragonforce, Freedom Call, and Hammerfall, “The Chronicles of Eunomia Part II” is due out on September 15, 2023.

Extreme Progressive Metal Group IMMORTAL GUARDIAN Unveils Music Video for ‘Candlelight’

Band On US Tour Now! Performing at Mad With Power Fest This Weekend

IMMORTAL GUARDIAN is (L-R):
Gabriel Guardian (Guitars/Keyboards)
Carlos Zema (Vocals)
Joshua Lopez (Bass)
Justin Piedimonte (Drums)

The extreme progressive/power metal group IMMORTAL GUARDIAN have unveiled a music video for “Candlelight”, the latest single from their critically acclaimed concept album “Psychosomatic”. The clip which was produced by Brett Rivera and features former Cirque Du Soleil performer Olga Pikhienko and world-renown dancer Danny Davalos filmed at the location at the Valley of Fire outside Las Vegas – is being released in the wake of the band’s return to the road, which began last week with a concert in their newly adopted hometown and was followed by a show in guitarist/keyboardist Gabriel Guardian’s original hometown of Harlingen, Texas.

Watch “Candlelight” at https://youtu.be/8_27GDBEP6Q

https://youtu.be/8_27GDBEP6Q%20

Says Gabriel, “’Candlelight’ is a beautiful song written by (vocalist) Carlos Zema as a tribute to all of our loved ones that passed away during these hard times. 2020 was a very difficult year for all of us, with lockdowns, deaths in the family and having to cancel all of our plans as a band. Making our album ‘Psychosomatic’ helped us cope with the tough times and be able to channel our thoughts and emotions into lyrics and melodies. ‘Candlelight’ was a very tough song for Carlos and I to do with all of the emotional weight it brought, but in the end, we were very happy with how it came out and finalized on the album. This song goes out to all our friends, family and heroes who are no longer with us today.”

IMMORTAL GUARDIAN‘s cross-country journey – which includes a series of shows alongside Atlanta power-thrashers Paladin, as well as a headlining appearance at the Mad With Power Fest in Madison, Wisc. on August 28 – marks the band’s first live performances in support of “Psychosomatic”. The group will be performing every night backed by a visually entrancing laser/light show designed by Guardian himself. A list of the remaining tour dates is below.

“Psychosomatic” has been lauded by Metal Temple for its “melody and power, two things displayed in a smashing way throughout this album,” and it led Metal Rules to call the group “one of the most interesting bands that have emerged in recent years on the international power metal scene.” Video clips for the title track and “Phobia,” the latter of which featured a guest appearance by Angra guitarist Marcelo Barbosa, have captured the ears of heavy metal fans worldwide, while their videos for “Clocks,” “Lockdown” and “Read Between The Lines” have earned praise from the likes of MetalSucks, Metal Injection and Gear Gods.

After making a splash via their 2018 full-length debut “Age of Revolution” – which featured its own fair share of creative music videos, including the “Armageddon”-meets-telenovela clip for “Stardust” – and through tours with the likes of Marty Friedman, Exmortus and Powerglove, IMMORTAL GUARDIAN gathered in Las Vegas at the beginning of 2020 to record their second album. As the spread of COVID-19 and the subsequent pandemic began to ensue, shutdowns around the world began being enforced, resulting in the band completely scrapping the record that they had been working on and writing and creating a new thematic record about their emotions surrounding current events. The resulting “Psychosomatic” was a truly multi-national record, with guitarist/keyboardist Gabriel Guardian – known for his uncanny ability to play the two instruments simultaneously – remaining in Las Vegas, singer Carlos Zema recording his vocals from his home in Brazil, drummer Justin Piedimonte tracking from Montreal and bassist Joshua Lopez recording from IMMORTAL GUARDIAN‘s native Texas.

“Psychosomatic” is a product of the extraordinary turmoil of 2020 that affected millions of people around the world, as well as the next step in IMMORTAL GUARDIAN’s exhilarating melding of melodic power metal with progressive/shred tendencies. The group is looking forward to bringing their scintillating sounds and dazzling visuals to the road for fans to experience live.

A small amount of limited-edition transparent purple haze vinyl copies of “Psychosomatic” remain available, along with CD and digital versions of the album, at www.smarturl.com/immortalguardian.

IMMORTAL GUARDIAN Takes ‘Psychosomatic’ To The Road With An Epic Laser & Light Show

IMMORTAL GUARDIAN is (L-R):
Gabriel Guardian (Guitars/Keyboards)
Carlos Zema (Vocals)
Joshua Lopez (Bass)
Justin Piedimonte (Drums)

The extreme progressive/power metal group IMMORTAL GUARDIAN are taking the epic sounds of their critically acclaimed concept album “Psychosomatic” to the road and bringing a visually entrancing laser/light show with them. The band’s cross-country journey begins this Friday, August 13 with a show in their newly adopted hometown of Las Vegas. The trek also includes an extensive run alongside Atlanta power-thrashers Paladin; a show in guitarist Gabriel Guardian’s hometown of Harlingen, Texas on August 17; and a headlining appearance at the Mad With Power Fest in Madison, Wisc. on August 28.

“We are so excited to finally go back on tour,” says guitarist/keyboardist Gabriel Guardian. “We haven’t even seen each other in person since NAMM 2020, yet since then, we have been able to write and release a new album entirely over the Internet. It feels good to know we will finally play songs live that we have only played in studio until now. Mid-pandemic, I was fortunate enough to learn how to program light shows and organize bigger productions, so you can expect IMMORTAL GUARDIAN’s tour to have new music, a new light/laser show, new gear and a new, kickass, epic live show. We can’t wait to see y’all on the road!”

The upcoming tour marks IMMORTAL GUARDIAN’s first live dates in support of “Psychosomatic,” their acclaimed new concept record. IMMORTAL GUARDIAN Unveils Video for Title Track of New Concept Album ‘Psychosomatic’

Justin Piedimonte (Drums)

The extreme progressive/power metal group IMMORTAL GUARDIAN has unveiled a video for “Psychosomatic”, the title track of their acclaimed new concept album that was inspired by and recorded during the coronavirus pandemic. The clip can be viewed at https://youtu.be/YCdxPLR275A.

“One thing we started noticing early on at the beginning of the pandemic in 2020 was the overwhelming number of friends that were getting sick only to find out they tested negative and never had the virus. Us included! There were so many moments where we were so convinced that we had covid because we felt all the symptoms and totally freaked ourselves out even though we never left our house. Just to take a test and find out we didn’t have it and even feel the symptoms disappear after 24hrs. This was happening to so many people I know and we thought it would be a very interesting topic to write about,” explains Gabriel Guardian. “This is not to take away from the seriousness of the virus and the harm it has actually done to some of our other friends and family. It’s been a very rough year for all of us… But if there was something, we noticed that did affect the majority, it was the big amounts of fear and confusion that literally made us all feel sick just from living through the experience. Our silent pandemic is psychosomatic.”

“Psychosomatic” is the latest in a series of creative videos that IMMORTAL GUARDIAN has released in recent weeks. Last month, the group unveiled a clip for “Phobia”, which featured a guest appearance by Angra guitarist Marcelo Barbosa. Previously, their videos for “Clocks,” “Lockdown” and “Read Between The Lines” earned praise from the likes of MetalSucks, Metal Injection, and Gear Gods.

After making a splash via their 2018 full-length debut “Age of Revolution” – which featured its own fair share of creative music videos, including the “Armageddon”-meets-telenovela “Stardust” – and through tours with the likes of Marty Friedman, Exmortus, and Powerglove, IMMORTAL GUARDIAN gathered in Las Vegas at the beginning of 2020 to record their second album. As the spread of COVID-19 and the subsequent pandemic began to ensue, shutdowns around the world began being enforced, resulting in the band completely scrapping the record that they had been working on and writing and creating a new thematic record about their emotions surrounding current events. The resulting “Psychosomatic” was a truly multi-national record, with guitarist/keyboardist Gabriel Guardian – known for his uncanny ability to play the two instruments simultaneously – remaining in Las Vegas, singer Carlos Zema recording his vocals from his home in Brazil, drummer Justin Piedimonte tracking from Montreal, and bassist Joshua Lopez recording from IMMORTAL GUARDIAN‘s native Texas.

“Psychosomatic” is a product of the extraordinary turmoil of 2020 that affected millions of people around the world, as well as the next step in IMMORTAL GUARDIAN’s exhilarating melding of melodic power metal with progressive/shred tendencies. CD and limited-edition purple vinyl editions of “Psychosomatic” are available now at www.smarturl.com/immortalguardian.

“Melody and Power, two things displayed in a smashing way throughout this album. If Immortal Guardian isn’t already on your playlist, I think they should be. 10/10 – Metal-Temple.com

“A mega-catchy prog-power anthem (Read Between The Lines) mixed with a blend of crushing performances that’ll leave you salivating for more.” – Metal Injection

“Psychosomatic, an album that will likely be viewed as one of 2021’s best releases, and a landmark record forImmortal Guardian. ” – Metal Nation

““Psychosomatic” is a super catchy (Prog) Power Metal album” – Metalheads Forever Magazine

“With this album (Psychosomatic) Immortal Guardian should no longer be seen as a promising band. Not only have they shown that they have an enormous compositional quality and an elite technical level, they have also shown that they are a band that faces difficulties and that they have all the will to continue. Making a high-quality second album two years after their dazzling debut tells us about the enormous inner power these musicians have.” – Metal Rules

““QUARAN-TAAAAAYN!” No matter what you think about Immortal Guardian, it’s refreshing to hear a band that plays their style while confronting modern life. Though there’s a lot of big, epic, technical stuff going on on Psychosomatic, it never devolves into a lot of bullshit about chivalry and orcs. As such, they feel poised to be the inheritors of Nevermore’s throne, a gritty power metal band who feel relevant even as they soar. Get this in your brain.” – The Pit

Logan Grimm is an ambitious young artist seeking to take on the world as the creator of Grimmreaper. He has developed an intense backstory for a multimedia project that explores the very human realities of tragedy and suffering, and the choices they present, from nihilism and resentment to transcendence and courage. In the process of this, as a solo artist, he has crafted music that fuses the influences of highly technical bands like Dragonforce and Meshuggah with the work of more mainstream names such as Five Finger Death Punch and Bullet For My Valentine.

Set to unveil the debut album entitled “The Tragedy of Being” on Tuesday, March 30th, Grimmreaper has teamed with GhostCultMagzine for its exclusive stream before it officially drops.

Listen HERE.

Logan Grimm aka Grimmreaper adds:

“It’s been a long process to get this solo record ready, but I couldn’t be more excited to finally put it out there. With this debut album, I’m trying to give fans an experience that goes to different places in metal, from fast and hard, to slow and groovy, and even a Babymetal cover song. It’s a dark record with many twists and turns, but never boring. The lyrics come from ideas of old stories and archetypes, but the music isn’t as abstract. Some songs are commercial sounding in their structure, but some are longer with abrupt changes and weird patterns. The album is a journey through different tastes of metal, and while it’s meant to be enjoyed from start to finish, each song stands strong on its own.”

With a bright future painted before him featuring everything from forming a DIY label to endless touring, Logan Grimm has the ambition and the vision to match. Poised to be the next great force in metal, Grimmreaper looks boldly into the future.

Recommended for fans of Meshuggah, Trivium, and In Flames, Grimmreaper‘s “The Tragedy of Being” will be available on all digital platforms as of March 30th.

“Texas musician and multi-instrumentalist Logan Grimm is an ambitious young artist seeking to take on the world. As Grimmrepear, he has developed an intense backstory for a multimedia project that explores the very human realities of tragedy and suffering, and the choices they present, from nihilism and resentment to transcendence and courage.” – New Noise Magazine

“Talk about ambition. Grimmreaper, the brainchild of Logan Grimm, is a modern metal project where Logan plays all the instruments. Merging modern metal influences like Bullet For My Valentine with more technical ones like Meshuggah, the project is as much a multimedia one as it is a musical one.” – New Fury Media

“If you like pounding rhythms and impressive lead playing this power metal track (North Star) is just for you. With emotive vocals and rampaging rhythms, this is a classic headbanger from the very first double bass drum kick. The vocals soar and take flight mirroring the lyrical content. Throw in an epic thrash metal solo and we have one of the year’s best metal tracks- and it’s only the first week of January.” – BackSeatMafia

“Grimmreaper is inspired by many different sub-genres of metal, but it is without doubt that power metal is the strongest flavour in this particular track (North Star). There’s plenty of variation of riffs involved, ranging from meaty chugs to epic melodies that soar out of the atmosphere. In fact, the riff that starts at 0:33 sounds very similar to Those Who Fight Further from the Final Fantasy 7 soundtrack, at least to start off with, And that happens to be one of my most favourite pieces of music ever, so I was smiling giddily when I heard that part.” – Abrasive Noise

Grimmreaper Covers Babymetal’s “Road of Resistance” w/ Own English Lyrics

Track Premiere via New Noise Magazine

Debut Album “The Tragedy of Being” Out March 2021

The fourth and final single leading up to the full release of Grimmreaper’s debut album “The Tragedy of Being” is upon us, and today he shares his cover version of Babymetal‘s “Road of Resistance”, which features Dragonforce guitarists Herman Li and Sam Totman on the original recording.

Grimmreapear elaborates for choosing the track to cover:

“I’ve been a Dragonforce fan forever. I first heard this song by Babymetal and thought ‘That’s Japanese Dragonforce for sure.’ Sure enough, Dragonforce helped write some songs for them, including this one. I’ve been a fan of Babymetal ever since.

I re-wrote the lyrics in English in 2018 and recorded the cover in my apartment when I lived in Japan. I lived there for a little over a year. It took almost 2 years of learning, recording, failing, and trying again before it was done. Dragonforce often writes about the hero’s journey, mountains, dragons and archetypes, and this cover sticks with those themes, but also fits in with the album’s story.”

Grimmreaper also pays homage to Dragonforce’s writing style by making the cover version of the song about the nobility of moving forward in life, up the mountain. It also fits into the theme of his own album “The Tragedy of Being” quite nicely. The full length is a concept record, which goes through the default conditions of life, tragedy, and suffering, and the options they present, nihilism and resentment, or transcendence and courage.

Grimmreaper’s solo project has been described as mixing technical styles like those of Dragonforce and Meshuggah with mainstream styles like Bullet For My Valentine and Five Finger Death Punch. “The Tragedy of Being” is a dark record with many twists and turns, but never boring. The album is a journey through different tastes of metal, and while it’s meant to be enjoyed from start to finish, each song stands strong on its own.

Recommended for fans of Meshuggah, Trivium, and Devin Townsend, Grimmreaper‘s cover version of “Road of Resistance” can be heard via its premiere on New Noise Magazine HERE.

The full release of “The Tragedy of Being” is out on March 30, 2021.

About:

Logan Grimm is an ambitious young artist seeking to take on the world, and the creator of Grimmreaper. He has developed an intense backstory for a multimedia project that explores the very human realities of tragedy and suffering, and the choices they present, from nihilism and resentment to transcendence and courage. In the process of this, he has crafted music that fuses the influences of highly technical bands like Dragonforce and Meshuggah with the work of more mainstream names such as Five Finger Death Punch and Bullet For My Valentine.

The project, which will start to see release in the early half of 2021, will center around an album entitled The Tragedy Of Being. The record explores noble and contemptible ways to respond to the conditions inherent to human consciousness. Since it is wholly a solo project, Grimm will perform on the record as each ‘band member.’ He will also represent each member in the videos released for the project, each hidden behind a black hood with a different appearance. The Tragedy Of Being will be accompanied by a documentary of the creation process featuring the twin personalities of the business-minded Logan and the poetic artist, Grimm. It will embody his sense of humor, split personas, and inspirations.

Representing himself as the embodiment of his lyrical themes, Logan Grimm has built a strong visual presence for the project. Instantly recognizable and endlessly ambitious, there are a lot of interesting twists and turns presented in the work of Grimmreaper. With a bright future painted before him featuring everything from forming a DIY label to endless touring, Logan Grimm has the ambition and the vision to match. Poised to be the next great force in metal, Grimmreaper look boldly into the future.

Joshua Lopez (Bass)

Set to release their sophomore album “Psychosomatic” on Friday, February 12th via M-Theory Audio, IMMORTAL GUARDIAN have teamed up with ThePit for the record’s full stream before it officially drops.

The album can be heard at the following link HERE.

After winning over new audiences with their acclaimed 2018 debut full-length “Age of Revolution” and touring relentlessly alongside fellow shredders such as Marty Friedman, Powerglove, and Exmortus, IMMORTAL GUARDIAN gathered in Las Vegas last year to begin recording their second album. As the spread of COVID-19 and the subsequent pandemic began to ensue, each member of the band retreated to their respective hometowns. With shutdowns around the world being enforced, the band completely scrapped the record that they had been working on and were heavily inspired to write and create a new thematic record about their emotions surrounding current events.

“Psychosomatic” is a product of the extraordinary events of 2020. The result is a truly multi-national record, with guitarist/keyboardist Gabriel Guardian remaining in Las Vegas, vocalist Carlos Zema recording his vocals from his home in Brazil, new drummer Justin Piedimonte joining the band from his hometown in Montreal, Canada, and new bassist Joshua Lopez remaining in IMMORTAL GUARDIAN‘s native Texas.

The group, founded by Gabriel Guardian, whose uncanny ability to play guitar and keyboard simultaneously has been showcased on MTV’s “Amazingness” along with his unique dual-instrument covers of classics by the likes of Iron Maiden, Pantera, and Guns N’ Roses have garnered hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube and have been built upon the band’s following through multiple self-released EPs before signing with M-Theory Audio for the 2018 release of their first full-length record, “Age of Revolution”. The band has also performed live alongside some of the biggest names in metal, including Judas Priest, Dragonforce, Kamelot, Symphony X, Sonata Arctica, Slayer, Metal Church, Soilwork and Steve Vai, and in countries such as Brazil and Russia, and during high-profile performances at ESPN’s X Games, South By Southwest and the Fun Fun Fun Fest.

“Psychosomatic” is the next step in IMMORTAL GUARDIAN’s evolution while still capturing the band’s exhilarating trademark melding of melodic power metal with progressive/shred tendencies.

“Psychosomatic is the impressive new full-length album from North American power metal act Immortal Guardian. “Holy fucking shit, man. Talk about epic… Immortal Guardian make some seriously epic symphonic power metal that throws in elements from all over the metal spectrum. We have power metal highs and death metal screams on top of keyboards and even some djenty staccato riffs here and there. It’s a different take on epic metal and it’s definitely something that will interest you… I’m not sure I’ve heard anything quite this varied before but I’ve gotta say I dig it.” – Metal Sucks

IMMORTAL GUARDIAN guitarist/keyboardist Gabriel Guardian, well known on the YouTube universe for his incredible multi-instrumental cover videos, is sharing his latest rendition of Eric Johnson‘s Grammy Award winning single “Cliffs of Dover”, which can be viewed HERE.

Gabriel Guardian adds:

“I’ve always been absolutely fascinated by this song. It’s one of a kind in its composition, tone, phrasing, and all around badassery. Eric Johnson, you sir are a genius. Thank you for inspiring me as a young Texan guitarist. I covered this song in my 8th-grade talent show and from then to even now, it never got any easier, but my passion and feeling towards every note felt the same! I love how some songs with no lyrics can pull so much emotion and nostalgia outta me. Happy to have finally had the time and skill to do a proper video for this epic song.”

IMMORTAL GUARDIAN Unveils Music Video For Pandemic-Inspired Track “Clocks”

Progressive/Power Metal Quartet Immortal Guardian’s Concept Album “Psychosomatic” Out February 12, 2021
via M-Theory Audio

IMMORTAL GUARDIAN is (L-R):
Gabriel Guardian (Guitars/Keyboards)
Carlos Zema (Vocals)
Joshua Lopez (Bass)
Justin Piedimonte (Drums)

IMMORTAL GUARDIAN – hailed by MetalSucks as “seriously epic” – has unveiled a music video for “Clocks”, the third single from their forthcoming concept album “Psychosomatic”. The clip, which features footage from the last time the extreme progressive/power metal quartet was together before the Covid pandemic broke out, can be viewed via its premiere on GearGods HERE.

“No matter how hard we try to control our futures, history constantly repeats itself,” guitarist/keyboardist Gabriel Guardian says of the new single. “’Clocks’ is a song about trying to break out of cycles that seem to inevitably repeat themselves.”

The video for “Clocks” features footage from the band’s early production work on “Psychosomatic”, as well as clips of their experiences at last year’s NAMM convention, which was the last time the band was together prior to the pandemic. Due to subsequent lockdowns – the subject of a song and video the band released last month – “Psychosomatic” ended up being a truly multi-national record, with Gabriel remaining in Las Vegas, vocalist Carlos Zema recording his vocals from his home in Brazil, new drummer Justin Piedimonte contributing from his hometown of Montreal, Canada, and new bassist Joshua Lopez remaining in IMMORTAL GUARDIAN‘s native Texas.

The song and video for “Clocks” also features a dizzying dual guitar/keyboard solo from Gabriel Guardian. His uncanny ability to play guitar and keyboard simultaneously has been showcased on MTV’s “Amazingness,” and his unique dual-instrument covers of classics by the likes of Iron Maiden, Pantera and Guns N’ Roses have garnered hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube. The song also captures the soaring vocal performance of Zema and the power brought to the table by new members Piedimonte and Lopez.

IMMORTAL GUARDIAN began building their following through multiple self-released EPs before signing with M-Theory Audio for the 2018 release of their first full-length record, “Age of Revolution.” The band has performed live alongside some of the biggest names in metal, including Judas Priest, Dragonforce, Kamelot, Symphony X, Sonata Arctica, Slayer, Metal Church, Soilwork and Steve Vai, and in countries such as Brazil and Russia, and at high-profile events such as ESPN’s X Games, South By Southwest and the Fun Fun Fun Fest. The band supported the release of “Age of Revolution” by touring relentlessly alongside fellow shredders such as Marty Friedman, Powerglove and Exmortus, winning over new audiences nationwide.

IMMORTAL GUARDIAN gathered in Las Vegas at the beginning of 2020 to record their second album. As the spread of COVID-19 and the subsequent pandemic began to ensue, shutdowns around the world began being enforced, resulting in the band completely scrapping the record that they had been working on and writing and creating a new thematic record about their emotions surrounding current events. “Psychosomatic” is a product of the extraordinary turmoil of 2020 that affected millions of people around the world, and the next step in IMMORTAL GUARDIAN’s evolution while still capturing the band’s exhilarating trademark melding of melodic power metal with progressive/shred tendencies.

Digital pre-save, CD, and limited-edition purple vinyl pre-orders for “Psychosomatic”, which will be released by M-Theory Audio on February 12, 2021 are available now at http://smarturl.com/immortalguardian.

“Psychosomatic is the impressive new full-length album from North American power metal act Immortal Guardian. Every song is listenable on its own, and over the course of the entire album there’s a good track-to-track ebb and flow. I strongly recommend ‘Psychosomatic’ and would like to rate it highly overall… super talented musicians who have put out a fantastic second album in Psychosomatic – the music here is consistently first rate and that will never change.” – The Great Metal Debate
