Slam Is The Only Way! TRAUMATOMY Unleashes New Album “Ascension Of The Ineffable”

Slamming brutal death metal force Traumatomy is unleashing its fourth full-length album, “Ascension Of The Ineffable,” on October 30, 2026, via Gore House Productions.

Over the last several months, the band has offered a glimpse into the record’s devastating power with the release of the singles “Entropic Obliteration” and “Visceral Maceration”, both showcasing the album’s uncompromising brutality, crushing groove, and relentless intensity. Now, listeners can immerse themselves in the complete eight-track assault that further solidifies Traumatomy’s place among the elite names in modern slamming brutal death metal.

Before “Ascension Of The Ineffable” officially drops, fans can experience the album’s first listen through an exclusive stream premiere hosted by MetalInsider.net HERE.

Commenting on the new album, the band states:

“We are very happy with our new album ‘Ascension Of The Ineffable’. We worked on it for two years. We believe fans will love this album for a long time. Konstantin Ogarkov brought a special sound to this album. The sound is raw but at the same time sharp and brutal. The album cover by Jon Zig captured our vision and atmosphere. SLAM IS THE ONLY WAY.”

Written entirely by guitarist and founding member Constantine Chevardin, “Ascension Of The Ineffable” represents the band’s most savage and refined work to date. Faster, rawer, and more punishing than its predecessors, the album pushes Traumatomy‘s trademark blend of primitive slamming brutality into even more extreme territory while maintaining the memorable grooves and crushing breakdowns that have become hallmarks of their sound.

Inspired by the cosmic horror of H.P. Lovecraft and the bleak absurdity of crime television, the album continues the band’s fascination with grotesque storytelling and otherworldly atmospheres. From the opening devastation of “Entropic Obliteration” to the mammoth title track and the climactic closer “Xeno-Homeostasis,” the record delivers a relentless barrage of slam-fueled chaos and precision.

Formed in 2012 by Constantine Chevardin and former Gorevent vocalist Haruka Kamiyama, Traumatomy began as an online studio project before evolving into a full-fledged live act. With the additions of bassist Leonid (Cephalic Impurity) and drummer Ivan in 2018, the band transformed into a touring force renowned for their coordinated stage performance, professionalism, and crushing live presence.

Fueled by beer, riffs, blast beats, and cosmic horror, Traumatomy remains committed to their singular mission: creating monolithic slamming brutal death metal without compromise. “Ascension Of The Ineffable” stands as the definitive expression of that vision.

Recommended for fans of Gorevent, Cerebral Incubation, Disgorge, Epicardiectomy, and Defeated Sanity, “Ascension of the Ineffable” is out on October 30th, 2026, from Gore House Productions.

“This is a faster, more aggressive and brutal album by the band. I do like the change and the performance on every song is awesome. The album is for those who like their metal a bit harder and darker. This isn’t an album by big name commercial record labels where most of the artist follow a predetermined path and so many of them sound the same. This is Traumatomy they do things their way and for their fans. For me this is a banger of an album and score the perfect 10.” – Project Metal Music

Montreal, QC – October 27, 2026

CAVERNOUS MAW Unleashes Video “The Yeti Approaches the Wall” From New EP “Ancestral Lands Beyond the Antarctic Ice Wall”

A crushing new chapter begins as Cavernous Maw, the Minneapolis duo, expands its vision with a concept-driven journey into the unknown with the release of its brand-new video, “The Yeti Approaches the Wall,” from their new EP “Ancestral Lands Beyond the Antarctic Ice Wall,” out now as of October 27th, 2026.

Blending relentless death metal intensity with emotional weight, memorable melodies, and unexpected influences drawn from black metal, technical death metal, and classic extreme metal, “The Yeti Approaches the Wall” marks the next evolutionary step for the two-piece act.

Comprised of longtime friends and collaborators Niilo Smith (Vocals/Guitar) and Ben Fagerness (Drums), Cavernous Maw was born from a desire to strip away complications and focus purely on creating music. After years of playing together in various projects, the pair embraced the simplicity and creative freedom of a two-member lineup, forging a sound that is equal parts brutal, dynamic, and unmistakably their own.

The new single showcases a more mature and refined version of the vision first introduced on their debut EP, “Primitive.”

“The Yeti Approaches the Wall was the first song we wrote for our next EP. It started as nearly all of our songs do, the two of us jamming in the practice space, locking onto a riff and expanding it. The arrangement and drum parts were carefully crafted to keep the energy flowing from beginning to end. Lyrically, the song is about exactly what the title suggests: a yeti approaching a wall. Whether that wall is physical or mental is up to the listener,” adds Ben.

Serving as the opening chapter of a larger concept, the track introduces listeners to a mysterious protagonist embarking on a journey beyond the boundaries of his known world. Throughout “Ancestral Lands Beyond the Antarctic Ice Wall,” the EP follows the yeti’s path of discovery, curiosity, growth, understanding, and ultimately, humanity’s downfall.

The EP’s central theme explores exploration, self-discovery, and the pursuit of knowledge. What begins as a literal story about a yeti reaching the edge of the world becomes a broader metaphor for pushing beyond personal limitations and remaining curious about what lies beyond the horizon.

Musically, the new release builds upon the foundation established by their EP “Primitive.” While the debut evolved organically and initially wasn’t even intended to feature vocals, “Ancestral Lands Beyond the Antarctic Ice Wall” was conceived from the start as a fully realized death metal record. The result is a collection of songs with stronger structure, deeper arrangements, and a more focused songwriting approach while maintaining the raw energy and riff-driven assault that defines Cavernous Maw.

The band’s songwriting process remains firmly rooted in old-school collaboration. The band develops every song together in the rehearsal space, where riffs are shaped, arrangements refined, and ideas transformed into complete compositions through a shared creative vision.

To add to the project’s authenticity, the band recorded “Ancestral Lands Beyond the Antarctic Ice Wall” largely live in their practice space before adding vocals. The accompanying video for “The Yeti Approaches the Wall” further demonstrates the duo’s commitment to immersive storytelling. In preparation for filming, Ben and Niilo even constructed a rudimentary “Viking hut” from pine branches on location, a detail that appears briefly in the final video for eagle-eyed viewers to discover.

Beyond the fantasy narrative, Cavernous Maw‘s lyrical themes draw inspiration from humanity, history, ancestral living, exploration, and the natural world. The band’s ethos celebrates curiosity, self-reliance, and the enduring spirit of discovery that has driven civilization from its earliest beginnings to the modern age.

With additional material already written for future releases and a dedicated recording studio currently under construction, Cavernous Maw shows no signs of slowing down.

“We absolutely love this new EP record, and we hope fans will too. “It’s a more mature expansion of our original vision. Fans can expect a lot more music from Cavernous Maw in the future.”

Fans of Nile, Behemoth, Cannibal Corpse, Death, and Borknagar will find plenty to appreciate in Cavernous Maw‘s blend of crushing heaviness, technical precision, and thematic ambition.

Gore House Prod. – Streaming Now! STAGES OF DECOMPOSITION Unleashes A Macabre New Album “Raptures of Psychopathy”

Since their highly acclaimed debut album “Piles of Rotting Flesh”, Stages Of Decomposition has been melting faces with their brand of sadistic, brutal death metal and touring consistently. They are ready to slay people sonically again with their new album “Raptures of Psychopathy”, a composition that is conceptualized by all things horror and will cater to fans of all things obscene and extreme. The band shares their excitement:

“We are beyond excited to finally have this long overdue full-length album out and ready for all our fan’s listening pleasure. It has been a long and gruelling process to get all this done but we are proud to have completed everything just the way we wanted. Raptures of Psychopathy is an album to capture the minds of the psychotic as anything in life we as humans all can relate to in one way or another but nonetheless, we are all still humans and have aggression that needs to be released. For us, it is through music and this album truly defines the raptures we receive when going through our psychopathies.”

Each of the eleven songs on “Raptures of Psychopathy” embodies a concept relative to the overall gory theme of the album. Stages of Decomposition likes to explore all facets of the general horror theme – from movies to serial killers, and events and deliver those stories with frantic riffs, inhumane drumming, and guttural vocals that will claw into them.

Dive into the minds of deranged serial killers as Stages of Decomposition offers a thought-provoking and alternative perspective. Due out on February 2, 2024, by Gore House Productions, “Raptures of Psychopathy” is recommended for anyone who enjoys slamming brutal death grind along with Kraanium, Suffocation, and Mortician.

The album can be heard via its full-stream premiere on MetalInsider HERE.

“On their new album Raptures of Psychopathy, Stages of Decomposition lean into the most violent and punishing aspects of their sound, and we have a prime example in the new album track we’re presenting today, along with a blood-spraying video… The song’s name is “Skid Row Slasher”. It’s based on true stories of serial killers, both of whom preyed on the homeless population of L.A…. The music is itself undeniably, and viciously, psychotic. The riffing is fast and frenzied, corrosive and cutting, and utterly crazed. The drums clatter at high speed, like automatic weaponry with a groove. The bass slugs like a heavyweight high on adrenaline. Equally rabid, the vocals expel raw guttural roars, crazed screams, and strangled gagging and gurgling excretions. It’s all macabre, and it’s all viscerally electrifying. But the band also make room for pulverizing slams capable of splitting concrete. It’s a kick to watch the band cut loose in the video, too, and of course there will be blood….” – No Clean Singing

“This is pure bang your head ‘till it pulps music. From growling guitars to smash the kit into pieces drumming, then snarling vocals, and a horror tinge (as we’ll see). It’s only right that they’re signed to Gorehouse Productions… Stages of Decomposition are tight, they can be felt as well as heard. The album (Piles of Rotting Flesh) is consistent with no weak moments. You will bleed, this will hurt. For proof check the official video below.” – Severed-Cinema

“It’s a brutal assault on your ears in the same style as bands like Cannibal Corpse.” – Games, Brrraaains & A Head-Banging Life (EP – Crawl Space Burial)
