Harnessing their crazy sense of humor and love of all things metal, vocalist Rob “Rawrb” Kersey and guitarist Josh “The J” Key joined forces with drummer Alex “Shmalex” Dontre and bassist Matty J “Moose” to create Pyschostick, a band they’ve coined as humorcore. With hilarious lyrics, heavy riffs, notorious stage antics and high-energy performances, the band has caused millions of laughs around the world and hundreds of mosh pits across the US, often simultaneously, since its birth in Phoenix, AZ in 2000.

With three full-length albums behind them – “We Couldn’t Think of a Title,” “Sandwich,” and their holiday album, “The Flesh Eating Rollerskate Holiday Joyride” – the band released their latest record, “Space Vampires vs. Zombie Dinosaurs in 3D,” in 2011, following it up with a tour with Mushroomhead to add to their total count of 21 nationwide tours that have hit 47 states.
After a successful 2013 that saw these touring ninja warriors hit the road for multiple shows on the ‘Our Tour Can Beat Up Your Tour’, ‘Blow Your Fingers Off’ summer tour, their late summer dates with American Head Charge plus appearances at summer fests that included Rockapalooza, A2 Fest, Breast Fest Biker Bash, and Dirtfest. On the road again! One of America’s favourite comedy rock bands Psychostick are kicking off 2014 with their Mad Marchness Tour that includes a SXSW showcase on March 13th at Red Dog in Austin, TX and a show date at South By So What? on March 15th at Quicktrip Park in Grande Prairie, TX (Dallas/ Forth Worth area).

Comedy rock band Psychostick have posted a thank you video to fans that helped them reach their crowd funding goal of over $30,000. The money will be invested in to the recording of their new album to follow up the band’s 2011 release ‘Space Vampires vs. Zombie Dinosaurs’ and to complete the construction of the band’s recording studio that will produce hard hitting laugh along songs for eternity.
