Hailing from the ashes of Charlotte, USA’s darker side comes forth the blackened death trio, OCULUM DEI. Mixing different elements and influences of black metal, the band unleashed their debut full length “Dreams of Desire and Torment” this past February.

Teaming up with NoCleanSinging.com, these unholy demons are sharing their latest NSFW music video for their track ‘Ghost In The Corridors’ at the following link (warning does contain nudity) https://www.nocleansinging.com/2019/06/04/an-ncs-video-premiere-oculum-dei-ghost-in-the-corridors/

The band explains the video:

“‘Ghost In The Corridors‘ is a song lyrically and visually about battling demons with oneself and the struggles upon the flesh and mind that can play out. Sensually in the video, we the band are placed in a corridor-like setting to show how we’re trapped within ourselves there, while a lady is shown struggling and hurting herself from her issues. There is a glimpse of a darkened figure that represents the demon that is haunting and causing her to harm herself. and in the end credits the demon’s face is revealed — and this was our way of introducing our newest member Nadir, who will be taking over the keys, synth, and organs (we featured him as a guest musician on the track ‘A Mist of Heaven Inside of Hell’).”

Oculum Dei‘s “Dreams of Desire and Torment” is available for stream and download on Bandcamp, Spotify, iTunes, Amazon.

First forming as a studio project in 2016 by Tenebris (bass/drum and keys programming), Camalus (guitar) and Zebulv (vocals/guitar), Oculum Dei has taken their influences of Emperor, Behemoth and Dark Funeral and push an eclectic unholy blasphemy as far as it will go in the Southern USA’s Bible Belt.

The band adds:

“The album as a whole is an eclectic mix of slow dark black metal jumping into extreme black riffs sometimes slowed down with a death metal riff and into acoustic guitars. There is no set template for this one, just a groove and feel that each of us has brought to the table.”

Hellbent to unleash their demonic war chants from their debut full length “Dreams of Desire and Torment” on February 22, 2019, the band is sharing their latest music video “Involuntary Pandemic”. The track is an intense brutal force, a violent asking about where God is when bad shit happens and why one should be a believer, especially when a child is being harmed or murdered.

Bassist/ drummer Tenebris adds:

“Involuntary Pandemic is almost a straight death metal blast to the face with Zebs well place rant on religion, the hypocrisy of the church and asking where are your Gods when bad stuff happens.”

About:
NECRNOMICON have a well-earned reputation for quality by releasing material only when ready and satisfied with the outcome ever since their demo entitled “Morbid Ritual” (1992) firmly established their name within the underground. “The Silver Key” EP (1996) led to mainstream recognition on a national level, but their debut album “Pharaoh Of Gods” (1999) and the sophomore “The Sacred Medicines” (2003) did even more to establish the band as a household name in Canada. “Return Of The Witch” (2010) marked the international break-through forNECRONOMICON, and saw them performing at prestigious festivals such as Inferno (Norway), Ragnarok (Germany), and the Barge To Hell metal cruise among others, while sharing stages with acts such as CRADLE OF FILTH, DIMMU BORGIR, BEHEMOTH, and MORBID ANGEL, to name but a few. Their steady advance around the globe grew considerably in impact by their next full-length “Rise Of The Elder Ones” (2013). Now NECRONOMICON are more than ready for the next step with ‘Advent Of The Human God’, their latest brutal assaulting soundtrack now available via Season of Mist for Europe as of March 18th and North America as of March 25th.

Delivering a lethal dose of symphonic, blackened death at a new height in their long lasting career, which began as early as 1988 with the founding of the band by guitarist and singer Rob “The Witch” in the deep northern part of Quebec, Canada known as the “Fjord of Saguenay”

The Canadian veterans keep their tracks on ‘Advent Of The Human God’ as gloriously epic as furiously massive and harsh. Songs like “The Golden Gods”, “Unification Of The Four Pillars”, “Crown Of Thorns” and “I Bringer Of Light” tell of experienced songwriting and an eclectic wide range of influences that flow into the sound of NECRONOMICON. Nodding to DIMMU BORGIR and BEHEMOTH to DEICIDE and SUFFOCATION, these extreme metal addicts carve their own sound out of the much cherished ingredients of brutal dark music.
