Following ‘Pi Nature’, Ninjaspy has toured across Canada on multiple occasions including touring Japan in 2010 (watch video here) winning over legions of fans along the way. About:

Ninjaspy arose with the dawn of the year of six, embodied by the Triad in Blood: Vocalist/Guitarist Joel Parent, Drummer Adam Parent and Bassist Tim Parent. Rising above the mire of their faceless six year muse, they have focused their sights on the mission objectives now at hand: Swift, surgical amalgamation of a spectrum of styles and the subsequent eradication of narrow mindedness. Advocating total freedom of expression and infiltrating every earthen sinew in their chosen path in order to stay grounded and facilitate real connections with others; interactions that are crucial for a meaningful human existence. Decibel Mag Premiere Psychotic Gardening Music Video ‘Origin Of The Infection’; New Album ‘Hymnosis’ Out May 13th

Winnipeg, MB death metal band Psychotic Gardening has teamed up with extreme metal authority Decibel Magazine to premiere their new music video ‘Origin of The Infection’ directed by guitarist Andrew Wiens on Deciblog in support of their forthcoming album ‘Hymnosis’ set for release on May 13th.

Director/Guitarist Andrew Wiens comments:

“The video for ‘Origin of the Infection’ is gritty and dark. It’s the first time we’ve had a chance to produce a storyline into one of our videos, which is something we’ve wanted to do for a long time. It’s basically a metaphor for some of the things we see in society. It’s certainly open to some interpretation in terms of the implications of what it means and we hope it will provoke thought.

We’re really proud of this one from a number of perspectives. It was put together by my video production company with my trusty director of photography Sam Karney and I. We had a number of the guys from the band chip in and help during the production of it. It all came together in what we feel to be the best video we’ve done to date by far.”

The band returns in 2014 with new material and the return of Chuck Labossiere after he filled in with Broken Hope for tour dates in Europe and Canada. The album is the follow up to 2011’s ‘Humanitorium’ and 2007’s debut ‘Hürdür’ and features nine heavy hitting assaults sure to bang skulls with itsfull-throttle, go-for-the-throat execution of doom and black metal. In this release the band digs into its death metal roots for a concoction of their most vicious material while still hammering down on doom-laden monster riffs.

HOLLOW Announce Forthcoming Album ‘Mordrake’ Out May 30th; New Music Video ‘Landscape’

Conquering audiences across Québec and Ontario with their unique look and high-energy stage performances since their inception in 2009, Montreal, QC based melodic death metal band Hollow are proud to announce the official release of their debut full length ‘Mordrake’ set to be unleashed on May 30th. Produced at Uplift Studios by Kevin Jardine (Slaves On Dope) and co-produced by Dan Lauzon (Entropy) and Hollow, the debut is the follow up to the band’s 2010 EP ‘Cynoptic Eschaton’ and features a unique analogue approach towards extreme metal. Recorded without the use of any triggers, midi or copy/paste editing, the album showcases live off the floor performances that bring a breath of fresh air into an over-compressed and digital world of today’s recordings.

The video includes a performance of ‘The Door Slams Shut’ off the band’s latest album ‘Traits of The Sick’ along with a new track ‘Midnight Bitch’.

The band released a new music video ‘Dream Pariah’ in support of their debut album ‘Traits of The Sick’ released during November 2013. The albumwas mastered by Jeff Waters of Annihilator, whom also makes a guest appearance with a guitar solo on the track ‘As Killers Breathe’. Featuring an eclectic mix of thrash, classic metal and rock, the album deals with the idea of humans being human and never willing to be completely satisfied, the debutis now available on Bandcamp, iTunes, Amazon and all other major online retailers.

The video is inspired by the dramatic story of a man, approaching the end of his life and trying something new! (hint, hint, breaking bad!)

TRIBUNE Post Tour Blog #3 For ‘CANADA SLAYS TOUR’ In Support of Author Inspired Concept Album ‘Tales’

On the road for their ‘CANADA SLAYS TOUR’ in promotion of their latest release ‘Tales’, heavy metal brewers TRIBUNE have posted a new tour blog from their experience in Grande Prairie, AB and Edmonton, AB at the following link below. The tour kicked off in Kelowna, BC on April 3rd and has the band trekking as far East as Montreal, QC (April 19) to return West for the wrap up the tour in Nanaimo, BC on May 3rd.

This is Tribune‘s second cross Canada Tour since 2012, when they toured across the US and Canada in support of their previous release ‘Elder Lore/ The Dark Arts’.

Their concept album ‘Tales’ was released October 2013 via their indie label Corpse Corrosion Music and was inspired entirely by literature featuring a wide array of influences from Homer to Mary Shelley to H.P. Lovecraft, to more extreme musical influences such as Carcass, Death and At The Gates. The band’s appetite for more melodic and more brutally heavy sounds to follow-up 2011’s Elder Lore/The Dark Arts is demonstrated with their collusion of extremity and accessibility that bleeds into the melting pot and their fresh take of progressive death metal.

TRAINWRECK ARCHITECT Announce ‘Wreck The Road Tour’; Dates in Quebec, Ontario, New Brunswick; New Music Video ‘Dream Pariah’; New Album Out ‘Traits of The Sick’

Wreck ‘n roll band Trainwreck Architect are proud to announce dates for their ‘Wreck The Road Tour’ that will see them performing shows in News Brunswick, Quebec and Ontario between the months of May and June that includes an opening support slot for German power metal masters Primal Fear on Friday, May 2 in Montreal, QC at Foufounes Electriques.

Drummer Marc-Antoine Blackburn comments:

“For us, the time we hit the road is just the best time of the year! We can’t wait to see all these lovely faces that will come wreck their necks with us and have a great time! Ultimately that’s what it all comes down to, the reason why we’re doing all this is to get out there and wreck it like there’s no tomorrow. See ya soon wreckers !!!“
