VESPERIA, Canada’s epic metal quartet and recently
crowned 2015 champions of Wacken Metal Battle Canada has teamed up with
Bravewords.com for the premiere of
‘Iron Saga’, one of three tracks offered on their upcoming EP
‘The Iron Tempests’ being released on
July 10th. The EP was co-produced with the effort of Ryan Bovaird, frontman of Canadian melodeath band Hallow’s Die. The EP artwork was also created by none other than
VESPERIA‘s frontman Morgan Rider at his own White North Studios (
http://whitenorthstudios.com).
“Iron Saga is about the forging of steel blades from the viewpoint of the steel itself as a sentient, blood-hungry presence. The lyrics talk about the steel coming to awareness while being shaped and it’s eagerness to leave the forge to see battle and taste blood. As the song progresses, the steel recalls the ebb and flow of ancient battles and the shaping of the world.” comments vocalist/ bassist Morgan Rider.
