Out now! Canadian neo-rock nerds DOUBLE EXPERIENCE return this spring with their third studio album entitled “Unsaved Progress” out as of April 8th via their label Colfax Music. Taking the next step from their previous album – initially released exclusively on collectible trading cards, the band utilize classic video-game inspired artwork and packaging. Teaming up with Idobi Radio, the Ottawa based trio are now streaming the album in full at the following link below in celebration of the release.
“Video games are the new standard in modern story telling, and Unsaved Progress is very much the story of everything that inspired our band to persevere through the challenges we faced in making this album. ” comments guitarist Brock Tinsley.

Album orders are now available at the band’s merch store here. A deluxe edition of the album – boasting two unreleased songs, two acoustic remixes, merch discount codes, studio footage and a brand new trading card – is also available for the fastidious Double Experience collector.
The album was brought to life with the help of Al Jacob and Kit Walters (HE IS LEGEND) at Warrior Sound in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Prior to the creation of “Unsaved Progress”, Double Experience were busy performing across 15 countries, playing everywhere from video game museums to tattoo conventions as well as showcases at Canadian Music Week and Indie Week Canada. Their adventures have been supported by international radio, festivals and television alike, culminating with an entire nerd-rock exposé and performance on Global TV in Canada.

DOUBLE EXPERIENCE will be hitting the road for an East coast tour of Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia before crossing the pond for their European tour in May.

0 Love Is Pop – Double Experience – Unsaved Progress
their new album, Unsaved Progress, is superb. It’s like Fall Out Boy meets Queens of the Stone Age meets Dead Letter Circus…Comparisons aside, the way Double Experience combines all of these elements results in a sound that’s instantly familiar but rather original at the same time. You might feel like you’ve heard opening songs like practically pop rock “SOFINe” and “AAA” before, but you’d be hard pressed to name another band that combines all of these elements so well…All in all, it’s good time music done seriously and a whole lot of fun at that. Something music nerds and casual pop fans can agree on for a change.
