Bravewords Premiere DEMISE OF THE CROWN ‘Human Denial’

Debut Self-Titled Album Out March 4th

Upcoming Show Dates:
April 3 – Montreal, QC @ Piranha Bar – Wacken Metal Battle Canada – Event info

Montreal, QC’s DEMISE OF THE CROWN have teamed up withBravewords.com for the premiere of their second single ‘Human Denial’ from their upcoming debut self titled album produced by Kevin Jardine (Uplift Studios, guitarist of Slaves On Dope) and mastered by Joao Carvalho (Protest The Hero, Alexisonfire, Rush). The album is due out on March 4th (pre-order here) and features this Canadian power metal band’s strong melodic death metal and hard rock influences fused with epic choruses, classic high ranged vocals plus explosive guitar solos that are reminiscent of Eddie Van Halen with undertones of Yngwie Malmsteen sure to leave fans humming.

“This track Human Denial is one of the heavier songs on the album. The Limp Bizkit inspired intro riff was something I’ve been noodling around with, but never thought we would use, the rest of the song just unfolded from there. The lyrics have a lot of metaphors that hint at topics about revenge, torture, abuse and inhumanity. At the end there is a massive breakdown tempo change inspired by Pantera’s “This Love” and the guitar solo has a few country southern influences reminiscent of Dimebagl” comments guitarist Manuel Iradian.

About:

Brandish your weapons and bare your teeth in the battle for new world order with Montreal’s power metal quintet, Demise Of The Crown. They run the gambit from melodic power metal to hard rock weaved together with soaring solos reminiscent of Eddie Van Halen with undertones of Yngwie Malmsteen. The band’s sound has developed from progressive to a heavy metal band that has a pop format structure to the music in order to lure people into the realm of metal. Through many years of playing music with different people in the Montreal scene and slowly forming the official line up in 2014. Each member have spent their time paying dues in the local community and have banded together with the same goal and vision for a band determined to shake the foundation of power metal.

Guitarist, Manuel Iradian writes all the music, then handed off to Kevin “Kevy Metal” (drummer) to dress up each song with his high-speed, galloping rhythms, finally, Darren Beadman crafts the anthemic lyrics rousing crowds to chant along with an anarchistic frenzy. Each song is rooted in all basic human emotions; anger, lust, depression, happiness, death and revenge.

Influenced by headliners like Nevermore, Avenged Sevenfold, Opeth, Pantera, and Faith No More, the band is working their way up the royal blood line to cause chaos right alongside their heroes. They have performed with iconic bands like Hellyeah, Devin Townsend Project, 3 Inches Of Blood, Katatonia and Firewind. The band will be releasing their debut self titled full-length on March 4th, 2016 in all its hectic and melodic glory.

DEMISE OF THE CROWN – Demise of the Crown (Self Released)
I absolutely love great power metal. I also love great progressive as well as traditional metal. Well Canada’s Demise of the Crown combines all those styles like no other band. Imagine Dream Theater, Queensryche and Judas Priest all combining to make one awesome metal album. The vocals have great highs and melodic parts while the fantasticguitar work has fast sweeping leads and heavy riffs as well. The whole production is top notch. Every song keeps you wanting more and more. They all flow like a well-oiled machine. There’s no reason that these guys shouldn’t be huge. There’s so many power metal bands out there, and a lot of them are good, but Demise of the Crown are in a class all their own. While having a nod to some of the great metal bands they have a complete new and fresh sound. I like the way Canada is putting out great metal bands. With bands like Sanktuary, Striker, and now Demise of the Crown, Canada is definitely making a good run for the top of the metal mountain. Go and get this release and check out their new video as well. Demise of the Crown is an awesome metal band that will no doubt be making huge waves worldwide. (Groovy the Metal Chicken)

“Pick Demise of the Crown up and prepare to have you’re the space betwixt your ears awhirl with unforgettable rhythms and explosive riffery all within a package so expertly constructed as to appeal to fans spanning several genres and propel this release in a ‘must own’ priority.” Thy Demons Be Scribblin

“a beautiful heavy metal album / EP, mashed with occasional death metal and thrash elements. What is immediately striking is the vocal performance. Lead singer Beadmandelivers an old school scream/clean performance reminiscent of the style of Rob Halford. Actually, his performance reminded me of Dirk Thurisch’s on Bleed (Angel Dust) with a classical 80s and early 90s thrash metal/heavy metal vocal mixture. His performance is accompanied by perfect instrumental support, pumping drums and guitars full of tricks and melodies. A true diamond in the rough. I would even take the risk and say this would be the disc I would’ve liked to hear from Angel Dust after Bleed.” – Metal Nation Radio

“I absolutely love great power metal. I also love great progressive as well as traditional metal. Well Canada’s Demise of the Crown combines all those styles like no other band. Imagine Dream Theater, Queensryche and Judas Priest all combining to make one awesome metal album.” – The Dirty Room

They run the gambit from melodic power metal to hard rock weaved together with soaring solos reminiscent of Eddie Van Halen with undertones of Yngwie Malmsteen.” – Maximum Volume Music

“a vulgar display of power; sonic destruction mixed with big riffs that got everyone’s head banging and raising their fists to the air. If you like windmills, this would have been your moment. The whole band played with intensity and dished out a ton of music, something I’ve always respected about metal – it’s far from boring.” – Bucketlist Music Reviews (Live Review)

“This Montreal act churn out some pretty decent heavy/groove/rock/power metal stuff and their debut, self-titled, album is out on March 4th.” – Moshville Times

“The opening track of ‘We Are Invincible‘ sets the tone of the album, that the band are going to blast some real in-your-face power prog, and they are going to be relentless in the flurry of notes that comes this way. It’s mid-tempo heavy riffing with fast, technical and melodic solos” – The Metalist

“DOTC are both engineers and alchemists. They take pounding, grinding noise and turn it into precise, melodic power metal with seemingly no effort. The quintet of bearded Canadian gents write superbly catchy riffs and melodic choruses that pick you up and throw you over the back of their horses as they gallop into battle, guitars raised aloft and hair flowing like a viking in a shampoo ad.” – Loud Stuff

“Beautiful Compositions” – The Reckoning Hour

“If you’re looking for vocal deliveries that range from James Hetfield circa 1983 and Phil Anselmo circa 1989, this band has that! We’ll also throw in, at no extra charge, Tom Araya circa 1984! If you’re looking for guitar solos that will melt your face off…They’re here! All the time…Demise of the Crown has everybody in the world covered at all times. “an interesting release ,full of Progressive curves and face shredding riffs that entertain…Demise of The Crown have a budding future that will hopefully see them get worldwide attention!” – The Metal Gods Meltdown

“A darker power metal band with some great riffs, and a lot of potential…a great debut effort…I think they’ll be a huge deal in the near future. There’s a ton of potential in this band.” – Rock n Reel Reviews

“We are proud to announce the release of our new music video for our upcoming album in March! This video is exclusively about the band, an introduction to us, and our passion for heavy metal music. If you’re looking for cheesy gimmicks that will make you like us, you’re in the wrong place! This video is raw, in you’re face, catchy and will leave no doubt in your mind that this band means business and is stronger than ever after a hard year of bullshit.
