An enjoyable combination of the old school with d-beat energy and rocking vibes keeps Kingdom of the Grave looking as a good debut from Sigil.

All About The Rock Premiere GNASH RAMBLER Video “I’m Het”; Debut Self-Titled Album Out Now!
Offering a superb brand of hooky punk rock tinged power pop, Vancouver, BC’s GNASH RAMBLER have teamed up with AllAboutTheRock for the premiere of their new lyric video “I’m Het”, which can be heard and watched at the following link: http://allabouttherock.co.uk/gnash-rambler-premier-new-video-via-all-about-the-rock/
“”I’m Het” was written by a friend and ex band mate of mine; this is an ode to everyone who is 99 and 44/100 percent straight, but just a bit bent around the edges. Helps me exercise my cowpunk bone.” comments drummer Brad Mitchell.
The track is off the band’s self-titled debut album released this past March. The album features a barrage of anthemic riffs and bubblegum harmonies. A full stream can be heard on the band’s bandcamp at https://gnashrambler1.bandcamp.com/album/gnash-rambler.
Vocalist Nick Venditti comments on the album:
“Many of the songs are just me reflecting on where we’re going these days. The anxiety felt by so many folks on account of all the crazy things going on in the world and even crazier things going on closer to home. We have probably always lived in interesting times, but because of technology our ability to be aware is always going to be at odds with how we process our feelings.”

“Vancouver’s Gnash Rambler is a godsend to pop lovers hankering for some old school punk rock!” – Power of Pop
“Gnash Rambler‘s self titled full length is twelve tracks of straight up punk rock whose influences are worn firmly, and proudly, on their sleeves. Gnash Rambler have produced an album that is born of the early days of punk rock, and of the bands that came before, whilst this is an album that treads a well worn path it does so with a self assured swagger. For those with a preference for punk’s halcyon days, and the garage and rock bands from the 60’s and 70’s who were considered to be ‘proto punks’, then Gnash Rambler would be well worth investigating.” – The Punk Site

“A collection of Pop Punk anti establishment tunes making you feel like your back in the 80’s and 90’s. With a Ramones/Blink 182 fell, this album will surely go down a treat with fans….A great debut album from the Vancouver Punk Rockers. I look forward to seeing what Gnash Rambler have in store for us with their next album.” – The Rock Pit
“Gnash Rambler have captured the spirit of times past. Gnarly guitar riffs, classic rock solos, captivating drumming and catchy vocals all make for an album that is worth countless playthroughs.” – Everything Heavy
“Man Over” just explodes with a passion that must give a reading of 8.9 on the Richter scale! … And the major after shocks are ably rendered by “Bad Karma”” – Wayout Radio

The title track really sums up Woodhawk’s strengths. It comes across as a synthesis of Mastodon (circa Crack The Skye) and Kyuss circa their spacey, proggy Welcome To Sky Valley. I just love this track; everything is just right, a really catchy song with a very modern mid-section.
