The Gauntlet Premiere NUCLEAR OATH ‘Toxic Playground’; New Album Out June 9th

NUCLEAR OATH is a five-member groovy, heavy, sludgy, intense, and interactive metal wrecking crew from Medicine Hat, Alberta. Influenced by such bands as Pantera, Slipknot, Sylosis, Lamb of God, and Avenged Sevenfold, they will be releasing their new album ‘Toxic Playground’ on June 9, 2017 to follow their debut EP ‘Ashes of the Unborn’. The forthcoming album will take the listeners on a journey inspired by the band’s personal experience and struggles combined with intense energy. “We feel it is an aggressive album from start-to-finish, which generates different emotions as the album progresses.” says the band.

Teaming up with TheGauntlet.com, NUCLEAR OATH premiere the second cut and the album’s title track ‘Toxic Playground’.

Bassist Nathanael Bohnet comments:

“This beast (Razor Blade Regrets) is a mid-pace rumbling steamroller pierced by shattering, acid-spewing shrieks and wild howls, and following a bridge, it punches into destructive nail-gunning mode as well. Heavy-grooved and battering, it’s an infectious, high-energy track.” – No Clean Singing

“Bringing a groove side of heavy metal and death metal, Nuclear Oath is giving you a punch and a dance with their new song and NSFW artwork ‘Razor Blade Regrets‘” – Musicology

“They were super professional from start to finish when they filled in on short notice for a show we had a cancellation on, including playing a wicked set of modern thrash that the crowd responded to big time. Would book them again. I’ve also played them on the air and will play them again on the podcast too. Thumbs up from CC Getty!” – C.C Getty (MetalHeads United)

“Nuclear Oath are a tight , high energy act with a professional attitude and good stage etiquette (in terms of set-up, tear down) and I’d be pleased to recommend them for a slot on Armstrong 2017” – Joshua Wood – CJSW – Megwatt Mayhem / Metal-Rules.com

“I really enjoyed working with Nuclear Oath when I booked them in Edmonton. They have an energetic and terrifying live show and great attitudes! They had an incredible ability to read the crowd and really cater the show to fit what the audience wanted. I would happily book them again and again.” – Cara Ashbey (Odessa Management)

“Hard as fuck no bull shit metal” – Mark Russell (Calgary Beercore/ Citizen Rage)

“Intense live band, wicked songs with a high energy sound and stage performance that the crowd can really get into. They treat their band as professionally as they can and are very easy going guys who are fun to work with.” – Nate Reno (Calgary Metalfest)

0 NEWS: NoCleanSinging Premiere Extreme Metal Duo DEITY “Sacrificium”; Debut Self-Titled Album Out June 2nd

NEWS RELEASE

Montreal, QC – May 4, 2017

For Fans of Emperor, Suffocation, Death, Diabolic, Gorguts, Hate Eternal

NoCleanSinging Premiere Extreme Metal Duo DEITY “Sacrificium”; Debut Self-Titled Album Out June 2nd

L-R – John Massey – Vocals/Guitars, Danny Alessandro – Vocals/Guitars

The brainchild of Danny Alessandro (guitars/vocals) and John Massey (guitars/vocals), Toronto death metal duo DEITY has been a long time coming. Inspired by Suffocation, Emperor, Death, Slayer and Immortal and describing their music as ‘relentless, powerful, intriguing, honest and revitalizing’, DEITY has produced a truly special debut self-titled album due out June 2, 2017.

“We formed about 15 years ago…Myself and John have always been the core of Deity. We had both been working on other projects till we felt the need to finally go in and finish this album about 3 years ago. We’ve known each other for about 20 years. We got tired of working on metal that wasn’t true to us. This is an album we’ve always wanted to hear!” comments Danny Alessandro.

The self-titled debut features eight brutal assaults that include session drums done by Flo Mounier (Cryptopsy) plus session bass by Flo Ravet (ex-Nephelium) along with the album being mixed and mastered by Chris Donaldson (Cryptopsy, The Agonist) and produced by Danny Alessandro and Joey Virgilio.

Teaming up with NoCleanSinging.com, the duo premieres their first single “Sacrificium”.

“”Sacrificium” is one of those songs when it kicks in you just want to run into the mosh pit. From the first drop you can hear the intensity of the vocals, the technical yet melodic riffing, and the hard hitting drums. We have a very Slayeresque chaotic duel guitar solo that we pay homage to Jeff Hanneman as well. We kept the arrangements and transitions more true to old school death metal. Lyrically Sacrificium is about people treating you like shit, trying to belittle you because they are better known, and the kind of people who wouldn’t have the guts to confront you face-to-face.” comments John Massey .

“Sacrificium” can be heard at http://www.nocleansinging.com/2017/05/04/an-ncs-premiere-deity-sacrificium/

With the completion of DEITY‘s debut self-titled album, the extreme duo, Danny and John are looking forward to taking their sound to live stages in Toronto, Montreal and beyond. Watch this pair, because DEITY are a band that deserve to break out of the studio into the live arena!

Track Listing:
1. Suspended In Animation (1:55)
2. Beginning Of Extinction (8:18)
3. Sacrificium (4:47)
4. From Which We Came, We Now Return (8:40)
5. Rituals (4:36)
6. In Time (6:31)
7. Illuminate The Unwilling (7:57)
8. In Turmoil (We Rise) (12:54)
Album Length: 55:42

Album Recording Band Line Up:
Vocals/Guitars: Danny Alessandro
Vocals/Guitars: John Massey
Session Bass: Florian Ravet
Session Drums Flo Mounier

The album throws up some punchy punk sounds, gets grimy with rock riffs and lays in the hay singing some country. Does this mean you get three albums for the price of one? Well, if so, I think all three should be worth a listen.
