FATALITY Announce Western Annihilation Tour

Toronto’s FATALITY known for their crazy party antics, beer bongs and showing fans a good time, are proud to announce dates for their “Western Annihilation Tour” that will see them venture across west coast Canada and USA.
“That’s right folks. Enough of the East, bring on the West. This is gonna get messy folks. The East was merely an appetizer. Its time to extend our version of Heavy Metal Indulgence to the masses. We are playing with a ton of great American and Canadian acts such as Bonded by Blood, Zombie Holocaust, Skull Hammer (Canada) and Vektor. Holy shit Nose! We will also be spending roughly a week in California. I have been warned about California. They say eat lots of In and Out bergs, Stay out of Compton and always, always, always check for an Adam’s Apple. I must say, I am very excited. Hope to see some of you on our travels. Get some sleep, friends.” commented Spencer Le Von, vocalist/guitarist of Fatality.
Fatality recently completed their “Eastern Intoxication Tour“ at the end of May, which saw them bring their explosive high energy thrash to east coast Canada and United States. The band chronicled their incredible adventures on their tour blog, which can be found at the following link. – http://fatalitythrash.blogspot.com/

NXNE ALERT – KILL MATILDA – JUNE 18 @ The Hideout – Geishas With Switchblades

Vancouver exports Kill Matilda just can’t sit still. In fact, they’ve been touring and moving across our great country of Canada for so long, it’s hard to remember a time when they weren’t on the road. Now, Kill Matilda are gearing up to make an unforgettable stop in Toronto to invade the Hideout (484 Queen St W) as part of the NXNE music festival. Kill Matilda will bring their punk-rock-metal to the stage at 1am on Saturday, June 18th. Joining them on the bill will be: The Goodluck Assembly (9pm), little foot long foot (10pm), Jordan Cook (11pm), The North (12am) and Holy Toledo! (2am).
BAND BIO
You can run all you want, but they’re coming for you Matilda. Montreal-based Vancouver exports Kill Matilda aren’t messing when it comes to their name. After all, they’ve been on their killer journey since 2008.
And if there’s only one other thing they’re serious about, it’s their dynamic self-created genre of punk-rock-metal music. The four adrenaline-infused rock ninjas behind Kill Matilda pride themselves on screaming and thrashing ‘till they can scream and thrash no more. They’ve also been known to blow out the eardrums of audiences across Canada.
The band’s debut, self-titled EP was released in 2009 and followed by their Geisha with a Switchblade EP in August 2010. The release quickly won over fans and critics … but maybe that was just their fear (of replacing Matilda) talking. Think it’s a joke? Who knows?
Back to the music – Combining an indefinable mix of influences and experiences, which go as far as to include classical violin and piano training, Kill Matilda offer up thrashing guitar riffs, pounding rhythms, intelligent lyrics, and snarlingly sweet vocals.
Catch Kill Matilda live, watch their “She’s a Killer” video on Much Music and Much Loud, and listen to their music to experience the band ripping open the shallow veins of modern rock. And killing Matilda, of course.

Titans Eve came together when brothers Brian (guitar/vocals) and Kyle Gamblin (guitar/backup vocals) decided to start their own musical project in 2008 after the departure of previous projects. The line up of Titans Eve was completed with the recruitment of Jesse Hord (bass) and Casey Ory (drums), from there the Vancouver-based band have set out to create honest, powerful modern metal and have repeatedly piled into the “Titan Train” (i.e. their 2007 Ford E-350 van) and traveled across Canada, bringing their music to as great an audience as possible. They’ve played over 80 shows in the past year and a half and 2011 will see them travel further than ever before as tour across Canada, the U.S. and Europe.
The Divine Equal can be ordered on Titans Eve Bandcamp link here, iTunes, CD Baby and various store locations across Canada.
