About: FATALITY is the thrash metal quartet hailing from Toronto Canada. FATALITY brings an explosive form of high-energy thrash to its fans and a relentlessly untiring beer-drenched live show. FATALITY is uncompromising in its endeavors and unwavering in its determination.
Founding members Spencer LeVon (Singer/Guitarist), Eytan Gordon (Lead Guitarist) and Adam Zlotnik (Bassist) enlisted Andrew Suarez (Drummer) in the summer of 2008 to fill out the FATALITY roster. This led to the independent release of the bands debut album “Beers From The Grave”, and an impressive year to follow packed full of successful shows.

The New Jacobin Club will be celebrating 15 years on stage in their hometown of Saskatoon on May 14th at Fez with openers Black Earth. The band will be premiering re-written and re-orchestrated material from the mid 1990’s that will find its way on a limited edition 15th anniversary NJC compilation to be released later this year.
Since their conception in 1996, NJC has released an EP and four albums their most recent being “THIS TREASON”, a concept CD/DVD based on the tragic medieval life and death of England’s notorious warlord Sir Hugh Despenser.
NJC has shared the stage with a diverse roster of touring acts such as NASHVILLE PUSSY, GROOVIE GHOULIES, KMFDM, VOLTAIRE and appeared live on stage with Discovery Channel’s freak show reality program GUINEA PIG.

0 Metal Radio Show “POWERCHORD” Celebrates 25 Years With Epic Concert – May 21st – Vancouver
Metal radio show Powerchord is celebrating 25 years on the airwaves on Vancouver’s CITR 101.9FM.
Founded by Metal Ron and Gerald Rattlehead in 1985 and now continued by DJs Geoff “The Metal Pimp”, Marcia “The Mistress of Metal”, and Andy, Powerchord is Vancouver’s longest running metal show. Over the years, the show has become a staple of Vancouver’s metal community by continuously supporting and informing the masses about both independent and mainstream metal in Vancity’s metal scene.
“Powerchord would not have been able to continue without all the loyal metal fans and array of metal talent, which reigns in BC. The fact that Powerchord has been able to continue running for 25 years is a huge feat in the history of Canadian metal proving that no matter how many challenges we face, the metal scene in Vancouver is strong and will continue to bang on for a long time to come.” commented Powerchord DJ Marcia, The Mistress of Metal.
In celebration of this feat, Powerchord is putting on an epic headbanging party with headliners Woods of Ypres along with locals Titans Eve, Scissortooth, Scythia, Magnus Rising and Auroch at Vancouver’s famed Rickshaw Theatre (254 East Hastings).

All proceeds will go towards Music BC Charitable Foundation’s Adopt an Instrument Program.This program is able to either purchase, finance or refurbish instruments, which can then be placed in schools throughout the province of British Columbia where there is a need.
SHORE 104.3 FM Adopt an Instrument program was formed in response to the budget cuts which have been hitting British Columbia schools.
