Bio:

Socially conscious, lyrically poetic, rife with apocalyptic symbolism; All Else Fails is poised to take our world by storm. Playing an aggressively dark blend of Punk, Metal, and Rock, this well established Edmonton based band breaks the traditional ideals of their genre by producing music infused with experimental elements, incorporating Classical music, Electronica influenced synth lines, and spoken word sampling. This is metal for a new audience, one that’s ready for what’s beyond the ordinary.

Their inspired high-energy live show sets them apart from their peers, often drawing comparisons to The Holly Springs Disaster and Killswitch Engage.

The band’s unique sound has won them acclamation and fans from across Canada and around the globe. Using intricate guitar riffs and meaningful lyrics delivered with powerful vocals, they draw their listeners in, and then blast them with full frontal force!

The band has played with major touring acts such as Fear Factory, City of Fire, 3 Inches of Blood, Threat Signal, Decapitated, Suffocation, and Arise & Ruin, as well as earning a spot playing the Ernie Ball stage on the 2009 Vans Warped Tour that featured Bad Religion, Alexisonfire, NOFX, Devil Wears Prada, Underoath, and more.

On the local circuit via their indie label Suicidal Bride Records, All Else Fails frequently shares the stage with some of Canada’s top touring indie acts such as Ninjaspy, Endast, Quartered, Stella, Dead Jesus, Fattooth, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Submerge the Sky, Without Mercy, and more.

AEF have several tours under their belt including a 2009 Cross Canada tour, western Canada in June of 2010, and coast to coast Canadian tour again in September of 2010 which saw them placed on not just one showcase at Indie Week in Toronto, but so impressing organizers of the event that they received an invitation to play a second showcase that week.

2011 is a year full of promise for the band with an aggressive plan to increase touring, building on the wave of new fans that were created on previous tours, as well as new recordings and a music video. All Else Fails will be reaching beyond borders this year, ready to set the world in flames!

NEW JACOBIN CLUB Release Free Download From 15th Anniversary EP “Left Behind”

Saskatoon, SK punk rock horror band The New Jacobin Club, best known for their mind-blowing stage theatrics with band and sideshow stage performers are proud to unleash to fans aFREE DOWNLOAD of their track ‘My Smile’ from their upcoming EP “Left Behind,” a 15-year anniversary release featuring four songs from the band’s 1990s catalog and will be available as as a pay-what-you-want item digitally and as a limited edition CD with vinyl record sleeve-style packaging.

NJC will be kicking off their Western Canadian tour on May 12 in the dark bohemian underworld of their hometown of Saskatoon and see them venture the following week as a seven-piece with Mistress Nagini (The Snake Woman) and members of the Angry Teeth Freak Show, such as Raunchy Rabies (the girl with the iron stomach and unbreakable skull) on board for shows at larger venues, specifically, larger venues that don’t mind the mess.

For More info please visit www.newjacobinclub.com

About EP: “Left Behind” features songs from a studio session where the NJC re-recorded, re-orchestrated and re-envisioned songs from the 1990s. Two of the four songs were chosen because they were staples in the NJC‘s first live sets in 1996 and had never received an official studio treatment or public release. This EP sees the current line-up forge a link to the group’s past while still maintaining their colourful elements of power metal, punk and gothic rock. “Left Behind” will also set the tone for some new material that will be introduced live on stage this May on their Western Canada tour.

About the live show and tour:
Halloween 2011 saw the premiere of the epic and engaging “Moral Adventurers” live show withMistress Nagini and Rima the Birdgirl providing theatrical accompaniment. Elements of this elaborate event will be taken on the road, along with new musical material not yet heard on stage. As with most of their previous tours, NJC and their entourage put on live shows that are stand alone concepts unto themselves. The “Moral Adventurers” live show is partially based on songs from their as yet unrecorded new full-length and tells the tale of a Victorian Gentlemen’s club whose true purpose is to revel in depraved entertainment while plotting to help bring about the apocalypse.

About: A band of friends and brothers, the five members behind Tribune have been together since 2004, making it their mission to create challenging yet accessible metal. With an EP and demo behind them, the music has become both heavier and more melodic from release to release and now, Tribune is set to unleash its latest album, Elder Lore/The Dark Arts, showcasing the raw sound that captures the band in its natural live element.

Mixing thrash / progressive rock metal with melodic vocals, the album will feature new material along with classic fan favorites. “We want people to be impacted by the vision, effort and creativity put in to make a new and unique style that is genre defying,” said the members collectively when asked what they hope listeners will take away from Elder Lore/The Dark Arts.

Genre defying. Accessible. Iconoclastic. This can only be Tribune.

4. A Silence Prolonging (In Longing) 04:58

About: After several months of deep thinking and more than half a decade of live shows, line-up changes and the constant shake-ups in the music industry, the four musicians behind Bolero decided it was time for a big move – a change in name and mentality. Ladies, gentlemen and metal Vikings, we present to you, VESPERIA formerly known as Bolero.

Continuing to derive influences from thrash, black metal and traditional folk music, Vesperia are not leaving their epic orchestrations, throat-crushing speed nor ear-piercing guitar riffs behind, rather, they’re intensifying each element, adding more energy to their live shows just when fans thought they couldn’t get any more amped up and prepping to release their new demo as Vesperia, entitled ‘The Swordsman’.

Converting listeners and critics across the globe into believers and preachers of symphonic Celtic death metal since 2007, it’s clear VESPERIA has no plans of slowing down.
